Asheville Restaurants Urge Tourists to Return | Eater Carolinas

"Faced steep operating expenses during recovery, contracting for potable water deliveries that averaged about $1,000 a day as part of the broader effort by restaurants to reopen and employ their teams despite upside-down math." - Kay West

I love hot chicken and was so looking forward to Rocky’s. Unfortunately the chicken breast was bone dry. Good flavor and crispy but super dry. The thighs were much better. I’d also get one more spice level next time, the hot wasn’t that hot. The sides were the star of the show, the corn pudding and Mac n cheese were great! I’d also skip the waffle next time - it wasn’t good or bad but not worth the upcharge. I’m taking 1 star away, should probably take 2 stars away, for the employees smoking right next to the outdoor eating area - disgusting

Google
Fantastic food. The hot chicken and honey chicken were amazing. Excellent & incredible sides. The best collards I've had in North Carolina. The location and the seating and the ambiance were awesome as well. I really like this place I will definitely be returning and recommending it to friends. (Was in town for work)

Google
Food: the food came out hot and fresh. The fried chicken thigh was good and not dry. The leg was huge but it didn't taste all that great so I didn't eat it all. The chicken sandwich was good and wasn't dry. I picked the honey mild for the fried chicken and the chicken sandwich was medium. The have good flavors. The honey mild wasn't spicy at all so those that don't like spicy, you might like it. Service: the service was quick and nice. Ambiance: cute building that has indoor and outdoor seating.

Let me tell you all, I been driving past this place for 15 years, and never paid attention. My friends were talking about it, but I was just never interested. Went in today, and let me just say this: I will go back there again. Super delicious chicken. I love that I could choose my level of spiciness. Delicious sides. Good prices. One little concern is the cleanliness of the cups, I had to return mine cuz it had spots all over it. Other then that great place.

Google
First time at Rocky’s and I knew it was going to be great from the parking lot on a rainy Sunday August afternoon. Had to hunt and wait for a spot to park and they have a large lot. Got inside and stood in a fast moving line to order food. We ordered the chicken wings, regular hot with a bowl of pickles and Mac ‘n cheese. Tables were full but there’s high top counter seats too so grabbed a couple. Our food came out hot and fresh and pleasing to the eye. No breading on the chicken and it’s fried to crispy juicy perfection. Not too spicy for me and the sides were yummy too. I needed a to go box. The wings are full size and not puny at all. I will be back to Asheville because there’s nothing like it in Jacksonville Florida. Asheville you have a great spot!

Tab P.

Google
You roder at the counter and the food is brought over to your table. Juicy, delicious Nashville chicken. It wasn't overly oily and the spice level was perfect. Staff was nice and everything came out quick.

Google
Food is amazing and the portions are BIG. So well worth the money, the vibes in here are great with a nice patio and the service is fantastic. One of my favorite places to eat in Asheville always.

Chloe C.

Google
#1 spot to go to when in Asheville. Great menu but the chicken tenders are chefs kiss. It’s a very local vibe. We knew it was good when the line was out the door.

Yelp
Huge portions, and amazing food. You won't want to stop eating it. Medium is spicy!! They know how to make it hot!! Delicious and great quality. Wow wish I could come back every day . Rotisserie chicken was great as well as fried pickles. You can't go wrong whatever you choose. Very quick service!!

Yelp
This review is based solely on sides and chicken ordered for the holidays. My family ordered a half pan of collards and green beans as well as a smoked chicken. Everything was great! The collards tasted homemade, the green beans could've used a touch more seasoning, and the chicken skin was seasoned well. We've visited Asheville a few times now and have never ate here but will definitely check out the restaurant next time I'm here.

Yelp
I am visiting from CA and my friend living in Asheville took me here and it was fabulous! I look forward to coming back to visit- this place is awesome. We came on Wednesday night and it was pretty busy but the line to order went by fast and it gave me enough time to decide what I wanted. After you order, they give you a number and then it's open seating. There is plenty of seating inside and outside, so we had an easy time finding a spot for our big group. I ended up going with the tenders and 2 sides, which were the mac and cheese and corn stuffing/pudding. I also love how many sauces they offer- we ended up getting a bowl of the house sauce and a few others. Everything was delicious; the tenders were massive, the chicken was moist, and I dream about the corn stuffing/pudding! I can't wait to come back. P.S. Get the banana pudding- it is great!

Yelp
Came on a trip and stop to get some food at this place, it's a Nashville style hot chicken and I will say i was not disappointed. The chicken was moist and hot, you get huge pieces one is enough but if you hungry two will make it really good, i had a leg and thigh with, had mac and cheese with was not the best one but good, sweet potato casserole was delicious and honey mustard was really good. Service was good and the place very well kept. I definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
It's been our go-to since we moved here in 2011, and the hot chicken never disappoints! Normally we stick to the classic 3 tenders and 2 sides (Rocky's hot and extra hot - not for the faint of heart), but Sunday called for adventure, I tried the chicken & waffles and wow, it did not disappoint. Delicious flavors, huge portions... ended up enough for round two for dinner. Basically, Rocky's: feeding us twice, keeping us happy since 2011. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is fried chicken, done right! And the fixin's that make you want to visit Grandma:) Nice patio spot to bring the family and have a wonderful meal. Friendly staff that is ready to help you with the menu. Don't miss this delicious fried chicken

Yelp
Great food!!! Tons of options and great space for small or medium parties. The pot pie is really good. Chicken and waffles are always a great go to! This is an Asheville icon when it comes to chicken !!! This restaurant is the OG original! Every thing is amazing

Yelp
Asheville has an endless list of excellent restaurants and this certainly belongs on that list. We arrived a little before noon, hoping to beat the midweek lunch rush. There was still a small line, but it moved very quickly. It's a fairly large interior space and has a really big added outdoor section (it's covered and has heaters for cold days). I got the Rocky's Royale with cheese. Great fried chicken and the zesty sauce was excellent. I like that they used a ciabatta bun for this, as a lot of chicken sandwiches with all those toppings makes for soggy bread, but this held together nicely. I appreciated their sauce heat scale. I erred on the side of caution and went with the Medium sauce and that was just right. Had a little bit of building heat, but my nose and eyes weren't running at the end, so that's nice. The mac & cheese was super rich and flavorful, though I wish the portion was a little bit bigger. My partner ordered the fried okra (which was AMAZING) and had a significantly bigger portion than the MAC side.

Yelp
We heard raves about Rocky's Hot Chicken. Made a point to visit the next day. We came early and ordered Inside because trying to order on the smart phone was like talking to a blank wall. No advice, no comments no recommendations-? Not smart. Half rotisserie spicy.; two thighs regular with sides of Mac-cheese, mashed potatoes-gravy, ocra, and greens. I forgot the sauces. Fortunately the wife didn't. But back I went. The rotisserie wasn't spicy and the thighs were deeply crusted. Not totally how I envisioned our dinner. But the chicken was better than the sides. More gravy than potatoes, ocra in a bag ??, greens were tasty, but the Mac wasn't as special as it was hyped. The sauces were generous and we saved them. All in all- nice parking, nice decor, enjoyed that it has outdoors seating and will be back to test other choices. I wish the ordering gal would have given me more help and comments as to expectations. It wasn't busy, but her role is more than filling a check list. It's first-timer orientation as well.

Greg

Yelp
This place is always good the food is consistently great but be careful on ordering you chicken hot because even the mild will get you, the wait staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is what you would expect from a chicken shack. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Top quality chicken and sides. A must stop. All the new chicken joints owe an homage to this joint.

Yelp
Like with other similar restaurants, orders are placed right away where they bring the order to your table when ready. There was a bit of a line before us but then a much longer one after. Its very much a casual place with a southern comfort to it. Having eaten heavy before, my friend and I opted to share their 2 chicken thighs with side of fried okra and Sweet Potato Casserole. The chicken was tender and moist with a deliciously sweet and salty skin. The sides however, were not my favorite. The fried okra was a little soft and the casserole was too mushy for my likings. Overall, I really liked the chicken and would come back just for that. But I would also like to give the other side dishes a shot in the future when I come again.

Yelp
Wow, just an FYI if they say it's HOT, you better believe them. Stopped in here for dinner while visiting in area and oh so glad we did. This is your typical dive looking road side spot, but don't be fooled by the rough exterior. You will need sweet tea or water if eating one of their hot chicken items, but it is packed with awesome flavor & not just heat. Definitely worth it to eat hear if in the area. Can't wait to travel back & dine again.

Yelp
Holy Heat. This was the finest hot chicken. I have ever had. Sweet potato casserole. Biscuit mashed potatoes. All top shelf. Do not miss Arnold palmers were delish as well !
google avatar

Mia L.

Yelp
Everyone was so friendly and it felt cozy and clean on the inside. We ordered the chicken tenders with fries, okra and collards. We also ordered the coconut shrimp as an appetizer and they were good. Everything was delicious but the collards and okra were on point. Someone there knows how to cook veggies properly. Not everyone can get collards just right! We had plenty of food and leftovers to take home. We will be back soon!

Yelp
I was driving down to Asheville from Abingdon so I didn't have the chance to try Nashville Hot Chicken in Nashville but I was able to do so here. If Rocky's is any indication of how amazing Nashville Hit Chicken is, then I think I found my favorite form of fried chicken. Thank god, we don't have any in Montreal because I think I'd be addicted to this stuff. I went for medium hot but in retrospect I could have gone hotter- still with the sweet potato casserole, fresh biscuit, sweet iced tea and banana pudding, I'm not complaining at all. I placed my order at the cash sat down and within 10 minutes I was tucking in. Very casual dining. I saw lots of construction workers here having their lunch and folks from all walks of life. Nothing really brings people together like great food, it seems.

Yelp
Bruh everything's fire the honey mild is perfect just the right amount of spice with sweety tang and the Mac and cheese is creamy ewe gooey goodness the collard greens remind me of my grandmother's and she was 3rd generation backwoods Georgia country at first it may seem slightly pricey but you get what u pay for many times over in portion and quality best chicken and sides in Asheville Rocky's is to chicken what 12 bones is to ribs..... Also take out was nice and warm they send a text as soon as your foods ready service was good food if your in Asheville and want fried chicken, hot chicken, soul food/comfort food its a must try
google avatar

Jason H.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed the chicken, staff were super friendly. A couple of heads up even if you order a plain chicken, the pickle on top is still spicy. I was fortunate enough someone in my group tried it before I did and gave warning. Feedback is this medium is a bit beyond your normal medium spice so be aware, but our spicy guy said that Spicy was in line with his expectations. The fries, potato salad, and Mac and cheese were all very good. No complaints at all.

Maryanne M.

Yelp
Great Food! Service is exceptional.Go early parking lot is rough rock. Hard to walk on.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing. The whole time we were at the restaurant the line to order food was out the door. The vibe was chill and had a mountain hippie vibe. The food was amazing and there was a lot of variety on the menu. You can order your chicken to the degree of spiciness that you desire. The side were home style -collards,okra,sweet potato to name a few... supper tasty

Yelp
Yum...Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack on Patton Ave. Following a decent hike, I was faced with a dilemma: bank or spend the calories burned. It's clear which option I chose. My meal consisted of three fried tenders (medium hot), potato salad, collards and a dipping sauce, add in a soft drink, all for $20 + tip. This represents great value, potentially covering two meals. For tourists and visitors, Rocky's is a must-visit.

Yelp
Driving through Asheville and lucky enough to be close enough to finally try Rocky's hot chicken. Wow, this was a great stop on our journey. Definitely a shack with some indoor seating and a nice patio space... Extra points for being dog friendly! You order at the counter, take a number and have a seat and your food is brought to you. Everything was absolutely delicious, restaurant was clean, bathrooms were available and also clean... honestly one of the best fast food experiences we've had ever. My son enjoyed the chicken tenders and waffles. The portions were generous, and the tenders were super juicy. You could select whatever spice level you wanted, and he went with the honey to make it extra sweet with the syrup for his waffle. My husband and I split the pimento cheese BLT chicken sandwich and it was really good. We went with the medium heat, was just enough heat for us... Go spicier if you dare. Of the sides we ordered, the fries were fine, the mac & cheese was really creamy and gooey and great! We also loved the sweet potato casserole. Highly recommend this roadside stand if you're in the area; great value for the quality of food an Asheville iconic tradition.

Yelp
So the reason you're seeing the meal on a plate is because I ordered carry-out and needed a decent photo. The service and ambiance went well because I only had to wait a few minutes for it to be done. What I got was the 3 Whole Wings plate (spiced Mild) with fries, sweet potato casserole and mango habanero aioli. The fries had a good slight crisp to them, and the pecans in the sweet potato casserole were one of the best possible ingredients for it. The chicken was nicely cooked and not too spicy, and the aioli provided the perfect balance between the sweetness from the mango and the heat from the habanero. Overall, just a killer example of southern comfort food.

Yelp
Rocky's Hot Chicken is the real deal if you're hunting for Nashville-style heat. The chicken is crispy, juicy, and packs a punch with its various spice levels. I went for the medium, and it had a nice kick without being overwhelming. I tried my friends hot and it was very spicy no kidding. The sides are where Rocky's shines. The fried green tomatoes were crispy and fresh. The mac and cheese is gooey and cheesy definitely not something from a box I would highly recommend, the mashed potatoes were well seasoned and tasty. The fries were hot and fresh. The corn pudding was like a stuffing and very flavorful. The collards were well seasoned. The ranch is also amazing! The staff are friendly and offered recommendations that adds to the overall experience. Rockys is definitely an experience some people may not like the spice or seasoning but that's what makes this place unique and authentic it's different in a good kind of way. The only thing I did not like was everything is self service.
google avatar

Julie D.

Yelp
i could not believe how this place has declined. the chicken was dry and tasteless. The shakes, that used to be amazing , were in a smaller cup and tasted and looked like flavored water, so very overpriced and the service for takeout was less than helpful . not going back i hear this has been the case for a while now .
google avatar

Yelp
Rocky's is sooo good, their biscuits are too die for! They have great honey and butter to go along with it, I always have to order and extra one to scratch the biscuit itch, even though they are large! The chicken is very fresh, always comes out hot and super crispy. They have a lot of great flavors and spice levels, I can usually handle a medium here, because their spice is legit! The ranch and vegetables are fresh and tasty and my husband loves their sandwiches as well, he's not a huge pickle guy, but these are so good he has to have them. I also love the level of fast casual, ordering at the bar and seating myself and getting our own drinks. But they still have great fast service, we always stop by when we visit Asheville!
google avatar

Rhonda D.

Yelp
We made a quick stop for lunch heading into Asheville based on a friend's recommendation. Service was super quick and friendly. Our chicken sandwiches and sides were excellent. I ordered mild which was as named, and my husband ordered the medium which was mildly spicy., Food came out quickly, hot, and fresh. The patio area is nice as well. Would definitely stop in again.

Yelp
HOT and CRISPY hot chicken AND waffles? BOOZY cheerwine slushies?? Dog friendly enclosed and heated patio? Need I say more? COUNT ME IN. Order at the counter - the line can get long but trust me, it's worth the wait. The employees manning the register were super friendly and suggested I try the Cheerwine slushy with whatever liquor I desired. YAS. The food took a minute but that boozy cheerwine slushy kept me company while we waited. And lo and behold, when that hot chicken came out, I was in absolute heaven. I could barely handle the Rocky's Hot so I'm going to stick with Hot next time. My favorite size was the corn pudding but the French fries and mac and cheese are always a solid option for sides. I can't wait to stop in next time I'm in Asheville for more hot chicken and boozy Cheerwine slushies!

Yelp
Awwww, this one stings because I really looked forward to coming to this place after visiting the Biltmore. So what's up with it? Pros: - Portions are MASSIVE. Don't get an appetizer. - The inside is cool and funky. - Fun menu that offers a lot. Cons: - Chicken was way overcooked - Mac and Cheese just tasted like water. - Ranch didn't really taste like anything. - Fried Green Tomato appetizer was too salty. Notice that none of the pros involved food. Bummer. So yeah, really bummed. We got fried green tomatoes and I love fried green tomatoes but these were weird. They were really hard past the breading, the jam with it tasted weird with it, and it overall tasted way too salty. I got the three tenders (hot) with fries and Mac/cheese. Maybe I've just grown up with my taste buds because I personally felt like nothing had a taste. I felt like the best thing on my plate was fries...and you're not coming here for fries. The chicken was really tough because of how overcooked it was. I'm talking you have to take a fork and knife and really put some strength into cutting it. You put it in your mouth and keep chewing. Also, the Mac and cheese had a watery/milky taste I wasn't feeling. My food looks amazing in the photo, but you know what? Maybe I just went on an off day. Sure, the fried green tomatoes and Mac and cheese aren't what I personally prefer, but overcooked chicken is a big no-no. You win some and you lose some.

Yelp
Corn pudding is amazing! The potato salad is great too. I was not super impressed with the chicken. Honestly, Popeyes has better flavor.

Yelp
The general manager contacted me and made it right. Very nice people to deal with. Will be ordering again soon. Anyone can have a bad order sometime

Yelp
Best fried chicken place I've ever been to. Would recommend going here on an empty stomach the food fills you up so fast The service is amazing and quick. Classy sports bar type of feel

Yelp
We have been to Rocky's many times at this point on our trips to Asheville. We usually make at least one stop once we arrive and it has yet to disappoint us. We always start with fried pickle chips and zippy ranch (slightly spicy ranch) whenever we visit. These are so good every time too, fried to crispy perfection! I always get the 3 tenders plate and then mix up the spice level on the chicken and sides every time. This time I opted for Mild, which in my opinion is the best for flavor. With Mild you get just the slightest of heat, but mainly good seasoning which is perfect to just enjoy the meal and not torch your tongue lol. I have gone all the way up to Rocky's Hot before and can attest to the heat, so be warned that it can get quite hot. For the sides I got the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy. The Mac was pretty good, but the potatoes and gravy could have used a tad more seasoning and flavor. All in all we will definitely be back on our next visit as Rocky's has become a staple on our Asheville trips!
google avatar

Yelp
Possibly the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had. I ordered "medium" sauce, and it was perfect. It was hot but still flavorful. I ordered mac n cheese as a side dish. Wow, was it good! The service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was a bit dirty, which was disappointing. Would definitely eat there again. Probably order it to go though.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was great! We ate outside and really enjoyed the experience!

Yelp
Me & my husband's favorite place of all time!!! Good service also! For a chicken strip that large with to gristle is so impressive to us!!! So beyond yummy the honey mild with macaroni & fries or mac and cheese bites & don't forget zippies ranch!!! We love this place so much and takeout is so easy as well!!!
google avatar

Julie L.

Yelp
Amazing food! Will be thinking about this meal for a while. The chicken is moist and flavorful and the sides are all so unique. Service is quick and staff is friendly. The restaurant is super casual but never felt rushed.

Lynn B.

Yelp
The food is always great. I just tried the cheer wine chicken sandwich this past weekend and it was great! not too sweet not too spicy my spouse always and I mean always gets sweet potato casserole as a side. They say it's the best ever. The fries are plenty for two people. The service is stand at the counter, order and they bring you the food. You get your own drink unless you order a cocktail. But there's always plenty of clean tables. They bus them rather quickly
google avatar

Carolyn CJ S.

Yelp
If in north Carolina you gotta have hot chicken... Because well it's a staple. Went to rockys with the family and we were all impressed with the menu as well as the atmosphere. But I am mainly writing this review for the.... Collards!!! Their collards are the best collards I have had in a long time... If not ever. The perfect amount of vinegar, salt, sugar...and the texture was perfect. Now, don't get me wrong, the chicken was also very good...but the best thing on my plate, and the thing I will not forget was the collards... Get them, they are amazing!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Hot chicken was on on list while we were in Asheville and we saw Rocky's so we had to stop in. Rocky's menu is quite extensive with salads, fried chicken, wings as well as sandwiches. We shared the three piece sandwich with medium & honey sauce. We got Mac and cheese and corn pudding for our sides both were very good. We enjoyed our meal. You order at the counter and your meal is delivered to your table. Service was quick. Rocky's is a small local business with locations in Nc and SC. It is nothing fancy, we sat in the inside patio area. Employees were friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Went to Rocky's on a Sunday, caught them at perfect time because this place gets really busy, line was out the door by the time we had left. I ordered the Rocky's Royale minus the cheese so I could take in more heat. My wife got the Rocky's hot chicken dip was I also indulged in, creamy and tasty. I enjoyed my sandwich especially the bread, I opted for the hot heat, wish I went higher because it did not knock me back at all. Pickles complimented the sandwich well but I do wish it came with a slaw and a bigger piece of chicken, also had a zippy ranch flavor on it. Also really enjoyed the Mac and cheese, was not too cheesy and had a rich taste to it. Great location with in and outdoor seating as well as a parking lot of the busy street. There are other things on the menu I'd like to try, also notice they have specials, this place is definitely worth the try.

. ..

Yelp
I got some chicken and friend pickles and it gave me a terrible stomach bug. I have been throwing up for the past 3 hours.
google avatar

Tom J.

Yelp
Perfect spot post long day of travel. Comfort food and delicious. I got the fingers, in medium heat. Perfect, fresh breaded, real chicken strips at just the right heat for me. I like spice but went conservative just in case and I am glad I did. Got the collard greens and they were wonderful. Sweet potato casserole was also yummy. Great, friendly staff in a nice comfortable spot!

Yelp
Wowwwwwwza. The sides at this place are beyond amazing and truly encapsulate the southern experience. This is an order at the counter place. You order and recieve a number to put on your table. Dr I love that they have options for chicken that isn't just "hot". I have been known to get terrible acid reflux from hot chicken, so I decided to do their honey flavor. It was good, and still had that bit of spice without being overwhelming. The legs were big and juicy with crispy fried skin. Unfortunately I did get the chicken ick half way through. (Chicken ick- when someone becomes aware of what they are eating and can't continue) To avoid the chicken ick I would suggest doing the tenders instead. My husband had the tenders and I had no issues with them. The sides-- Y'all better buckle your seatbelt and come on down. I had the mac & cheese and the mashed potatoes and gravy. Both were beyond amazing. The mac & cheese was full of flavor without being too creamy or too dry. The potatoes, they were seasoned well, but the gravy really paired well with it. Not pictured- the coca-Cola chocolate cake. It was pretty dry, and the best part of it was the icing that was closer to fudge. This is the main reason for giving four stars, the cake didn't match the rest of the experience. Overall - I would come back and get the tenders and try more of their sides. I would maybe try their cookies but avoid any cake they offer.

Yelp
HOLY COW!!! So let's get into it. I heard SO much about Rocky's so I had to give it a try. As soon as you walk in, there is a nice chill vibe, with music to suit everyone. Christina was at the front counter and she was so nice! She helped guide me along with Salina the Manager. I decided to get a thigh and leg (Honey Mild flavor) and then I had a wing in the side (Mild). Now let me tell you, if you're not a spice girl, then literally mild was HOT to me but to the average person, it would be considered baby mild. The honey flavor had a honey taste with a small bite, now that's more up my alley lol! I had NO idea you get sides, so I selected the collard greens and sweet potato casserole and it was so soft like soufflé BOMB!!!! Listen...that's not it?! Once the plate arrived, the chicken leg was darn near the size of a turkey leg! I have never ever had a leg that big but I must say it was SO scrumptious!!! Of course, I can't leave with my Chardonnay! The staff was very nice and accommodating! Salina said, so you need a box for that?! lol! I was stuffed just off the sides and wing and had half of the leg. I went to Ingles and purchased some ketchup so I could eat the remaining items and yes ketchup because I'm literally chicken of the spice! Listen!! If you're in Asheville, I would highly recommend you taking a turn down to Rocky's! It was surely worth it! Next time I'll get plain chicken lol! But it was definitely worth trying. Until next time...cheers!

Yelp
Heard a lot of good things about this spot so I made sure to stop by on my last trip. It didn't disappoint! Service was fast & everything was delicious. We ordered a leg & thigh platter and a chicken sandwich Rocky's way. We tried the medium spice which was decently hot for the leg & thigh but the sandwich has cheese which makes it not as spicy. The mashed potatoes were also amazing which I wasn't expecting. I will have to come back to the more!

Yelp
It was ok, but my chicken tenders were really tough. I didn't much care for the corn pudding either. The corn tasted old and the breading was mushy. The collards were pretty good. We went once before a while back and I remember it being better.

Yelp
If you ever find yourself stuck on a long layover in Asheville, exit the airport and come try this place! It's located in a small little town but it's easy to get to on one winding road. The parking lot is a little bit tight but people are always coming and going. You order at the front and sit down. The food will be brought out to you! I ordered the 3-piece plain tenders with coleslaw and mac n cheese, and a side order of the fried green tomatoes. Although the chicken was "plain" they offer this really delicious honey mustard sauce (I recommend getting the large). The coleslaw was a bit too runny for me but the mac n cheese was hot and still cheesy. The fried green tomatoes was different. I've never had anything like it! It comes drizzled with a peach pepper translucent sauce and goat cheese. Great for an appetizer! The customer service here is phenomenal. From service to bussing tables. They brought me a container for my food and sauce, and gave me a to-go cup so I can take my delicious sweet tea home. Just to all realize that I could have gotten these things myself next to the trash can. I apologize to the staff numerous of times that I swear I'm not lazy, but she responded, "Honey, this is what we do here. We love our guests."
