Rocky's Millwood Deli

Had the most delicious turkey sandwich on a whole wheat roll today from this deli. Their selection of chips is super impressive but the sandwich was the star. I ate it while taking a hike nearby. It was affordable and also they have very kind hospitality. Definitely coming back here.

If you're passing through and looking for a place to eat, stop searching; this is the place for you! I couldn't imagine anything not being incredible off the menu. We had an appointment in the area and stopped for a quick bit to eat before heading home and found this local deli. I honestly, I wish I had ordered more to each for later! We ate the food too fast before even thinking of taking a picture, but did a little photo shoot while it was being cooked to order. I got the cheesesteak with onions and green peppers, which was cooked to perfection. It's exactly what you'd expect to fulfill that classic philly cheesesteak craving. If you're not sure, get a large you'll thank yourself after. The kids ordered cheeseburgers and fries, which were deliciously grilled on a fresh roll (I might give snuck a bite or two with how good they smelled). Will be back again!

Fast service with quality ingredients. This place makes some really good sandwiches. I ordered the Johnny G sandwich and it was delicious. The chicken cutlet was well made, crispy, flavorful, and had a nice texture. The hero/ wedge was soft, warm, and perfectly toasted. They weren't stingy with the bacon either and you could taste it with each bite of the sandwich. The pairing of honey mustard and hot sauce is spot on! Delicious sandwiches with friendly service. Yall need to run here for a sandwich!! Please note the place is cash only.

I usually like eating an English breakfast in the morning but if I feel like eating a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, this is the place to get it. I feel like my taste buds are having a party with every bite. 10/10 would recommend somedays they get pretty busy just know its definitely worth the hype

I’ve passed Rocky’s Deli multiple times and picked up many delivery orders from there, but I never tried it up until recently. I got the hashtag roll, and the sandwich was how I expected it to be, but it was on the dry side, so I’d recommend adding some ketchup. My main problem is the price for $17, I could go to another deli and get a hero loaded with toppings and a bev, maybe even chips. Considering the fact that the deli is 24 hours, I’d definitely go there if I was in a blackout state other than that, I don’t know if I’d spend that much on a sandwich again.

No other words to describe this place aside from efficiency and deliciousness. Only thing I would keep in mind if I was a newcomer to bring cash! Consistency of the chicken cutlets crunchiness while mixing other ingredients like prosciutto, melted cheese, dressing, or sauce. So far my experience here has been very good due to the consistency of their dishes. The staff and service were friendly and charismatic.

This is a cash only place in the day time and open 24hrs. The ham and cheese sandwich was excellent. The service was very attentive. They did not miss a beat and if I understood correctly the grill is on 24/7. It's worth the visit.

I went to Rocky’s Millwood Deli and was charged $20 for a single sandwich. I figured maybe prices had gone up, but when I came back a few days later, I overheard another customer ordering the exact same sandwich—and they were only charged $13. The blatant price inconsistency is ridiculous and feels super shady. Either they’re randomly overcharging people, or they’re picking and choosing who gets ripped off. Either way, it’s unacceptable. I won’t be coming back. Way too overpriced, zero transparency, and overall a bad experience.

By far, the most convenient sandwich purveyor in the Hudson Valley. It is a must go to place - except between 11 and 1!

Love Rocky's. Love that is there for us 24/7! I wish the prices were a hair cheaper and would accept credit cards too (cash only). The Ukrainian Defender is sooo good! (Chicken Cutlet, Bacon, Muenster Cheese & Russian Dressing Everyone is very friendly and accommodating there. At this point Rocky's is a Westchester Institution

Used to come here for the chicken cutlet sandwiches as a kid and it still holds up. Delicious sandwiches made quickly. But it's cash only and that's the only down side. Service was fast and friendly and vibe is simple. It's a deli!

Best sandwich in America. Best restaurant, best service, and great overall establishment. They have every food, chip and beverage and the workers are so nice.

My life would be made better with a deli like this in my neighborhood. A huge array of specialty sandwich choices, a large selection of deli salads, an insane amount of chips and refrigerated drinks-- and all of this available 24/7?! It's a cramped space and the people behind the counter can be a little surly but they're fun, so interact with them! Whenever I'm in the area to do some outdoorsy walks, I drop by for picnic gear and my day is made better!

Food was great. Rocky's is my favorite deli. Probably one of the best egg sandwich's in the country. Also 24/7 which is amazing. Any time. Any day.

We split the Millwood sandwich- chicken cutlet, roasted red pepper, mozzarella and balsamic dressing on the side. The staff is spirited, and our sandwich was absolutely delicious - every ingredient so fresh. Food came out quickly. Cash only, but they have an ATM right near the register.

Great sandwiches and very accommodating staff. Know what you want before you come in, the line is big but moves quickly . Their menu is up online.

I know a lot of people love this deli I think the deli is OK. The charm to the deli is that it is open 24 hours seven days a week. They will serve you no matter what. This is a cash only establishment. They will make you just about anything from breakfast to a really hardy sandwich. I love the chicken Parm from here, it's pretty darn good. All of the other stuff is pretty much like any other deli. This is a hotspot for young folks. You will find all sorts of highschoolers and young adults showing up here.

This deli speaks for itself. The food quality rarely wavers and the service always reminds me of home. Salud. Dropping one star because of cash-only (No deliveries)

As the woman said, "I don't take the orders, I take your money". Tonight I got charged for food they forgot to pack. What they did make was incorrect and half-assed. No love anymore from Rocky's. Was better when Rick was there. This is the second time in a row the food was put together without care. It's a sandwich fer chrissake. And...no one answers the phone. We're done with ya, Rocky's.

Now this place is a rarity. 1 of 1. A true legend in the deli industry!!!! NY sodas, true cream sodas, the best breakfast and they will make you whatever whenever you want. Open 24/7 for 40 years!

I grew up coming here. I used to come 24 hours a day for years. I moved out of the area years ago and was driving through so I decided to give it shot...for nostalgia purposes. It's wildly overrated for the price. I got a Tommy D; chicken cutlet, American, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo and hot sauce on a wedge for $19.67 including tax. Thats $20 for a sandwich. No chips. No fries. No drink. $20. I know it's westchester, but that's insane and they only take cash. The sandwich was ok. Not great, not amazing but just ok. If the sandwich was amazing I would happily go back, but this was my last visit here.

They have great sandwiches every night. They are open 24 hours a day without any holidays off. Your sandwiches are fantastic. Everybody loves the Rockies.

Rockys is the real deal. I was visiting NY with some friend, all from Chicago. Stayed at my mom's friends place and this was conveniently a 2 min walk. Not only are the workers awesome and working all day and night for the place they seemingly love, but the fresh sandwiches day and night are to die for. There was not a single sandwhich I tried without being amazed. We went here every night and day, shout out Rocky's.

Went here last night, I was excited to try the late night sandwiches as I had heard good things. As soon as I walked in I learned I was not welcomed, the line cooks yelled at me for trying to read the specialty sandwich menu up close, then they continued to make fun of me and berate me from behind the counter for taking too long to order(mind you no one else was behind me in line so it's not like I was holding others up). And after all that my sandwich was dry/stale and the egg on my Liz-B was overdone. I will definitely not be returning there ever again.

Covid precautions in effect and being followed. Stopped in for a quick lunch grab a Balboa and a whole deli pickle Wow that sandwich was great ! Delicious and tender sliced beef with melted provolone topped with grilled onions ! Simple and Amazing That deli dill pickle was exactly what I needed crunchy and fresh ! Customer service was great too ! Friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend coming here

I can't get passed how one staff member was using the N word very loudly. It wasn't once twice it was every other word out of his mouth and he was also talking about slapping the Sht out of people very loudly. I asked the counter staff if it was necessary that he spoke like this and was told "We all speak like that" our customers do to so they don't get offended. They asked him to keep it down so he then started speaking about me being a grown ass man and complaining. He was also saying how he would slap the Sht out of me while still every other word from his mouth was the N word. He was saying it low but I still heard what he was saying. I'm not a regular at this location as I'm not in the area but some of the staff do recognize me when I stop by. For years I've gotten sandwiches made wrong but no biggie I still return. This was my last visit here. That type of attitude belongs in the yard during rec PS I asked for plain wings not breaded and they are breaded

As local as it gets- this place has been around since my mom was a kid... and there's a good reason for that! Great hours and really unique original sandwich specials. They have gluten free bread!!!! If you go gf, ask for extra spread/dressing/sauce. The place is small and gets pretty busy around peak hours you'd expect, so plan ahead for that. Even when it's crowded, they're still pretty fast! Grab your sammie and head next door to the playground with the kiddos, or just a short drive away is gedney public park with a great pond, playground, and hiking trails. FYI: Rocky's is CASH ONLY and has no seating. They do have an ATM (with fees), and there is a Chase bank right across the street.

Must review after reading some other people's reviews. Maybe those of you who feel it's too expensive have been living in a cave. EVERYTHING is up in price. Let's look at the price of eggs right now!! Businesses are paying more for products and have to charge more. It's everywhere. No matter where I've lived over the years, Putnam, Dutchess, Westchester- I have continued to be a customer here. Best Deli! Food & Staff!! Open 24 hrs every day of the year!

My first time coming back here in a while. The counter people people are cool and helpful as always, and my order was made on time. The food was where the disappointment starts. I can tell the quality of the food depreciated, and the prices went up substantially. The bread is always fresh so that is a plus. The cheese on my hot sandwich wasn't even melted; I can tell they used frozen steak-umms bullcrap instead of the fresh stuff. I know delis are fast-paced establishments, but it felt like the sandwich was made in a rush with no care. It was a mediocre sandwich that deserves a mediocre review. To be honest, I am not compelled to go back. They are a household name and have a lot of hype behind them; hopefully this deli doesn't rest on their laurels and become complacent. The Rocky's of years past was much better than the Rocky's of today.

After working in Chappaqua for some time I've heard quite a bit about rocky's from colleagues. After missing breakfast this morning I found myself craving a BLT and decided today was a good opportunity to try it out. Honestly it was the best BLT I had ever had. The bacon was crispy and they didn't load the sandwich with mayo which is always a plus in my book. 5 out of 5 the best deli in Westchester. I will purposely go out of my way when I'm around to come here. Not a single bad order but my favorites are the Bacon, egg, cheese and the chicken cutlet, pepper Jack cheese, ranch on a roll Heads up it is cash only but they have an ATM inside

I used to live coming here. Now prices seem ridiculously high, like $18 for a specialty sandwich that used to be like $11. Not to mention it's cash only. Not 'you must use debit card, not credit card, so we can pass the 3% credit card transaction fee savings on to you.' But more like 'please bring $50 cash to buy a couple subs, and if you ain't got it you can use our out-of-network ATM for a $3.00 fee to pay.' Seems like they are just trying to avoid paying taxes.

Love this place! Open 24/7! It's Cash only, so be prepared. They have an ATM but no one wants to pay an extra fee if they don't have to. They've got the best coffee as well, definitely try it!

I came here with my cousins to try it out because we heard it everywhere. So we decided to come. Let me just say it was horrible. We got two chicken cutlets with lettuce tomato and mayo. And let me just say it feels like they dunked that shit in a pool and put a chicken cutlet on it. This was the biggest piece of dogshit, honestly people overate the shit out of this place.Lastly the waitress had a iq of a fucking tortoise he got the whole order wrong and he was flirting with the girls it took me 24 minutes and I decide to leave and go to Carmeons

This place is no good, the food is mediocre and overated. The interior is small and crampy, and the style of service is very unprofessional. I'd much rather Cameron's deli !

They lied. I asked if they put garlic in their roast beef. They said no the thing is covered in the stinky garlic smell and I can't eat it. I wasted a whole bunch of money on something. I can't eat. Don't put enough meat on their sandwiches. I got a ham and Swiss, and there was barely any Ham and Swiss on there pathetic

Only been here once while I've been up here working BUT I will be back. Look / feel of a downtown NYC bodega but in the "burbs". I got breakfast for dinner here but the menu is pretty open. You can get burgers, sandwiches, but I think next time I'm getting wings. Friendly folks too. Coming back!

There is no better deli anywhere! They are always open. The food is incredible! The shop is clean and always stocked. The staff is fabulous and they make you feel like family! I have never been let down.

We were on our way to Teatown Lake Reservation and decided to stop by this place first as there were only a few options as we get closer to the destination. We got the Balboa hot sandwich which is roast beef, cheese and fried onions. My son got the meatball sandwich and my wife got hot buffet food. All in all, the food was good enough to give this place a solid 3. Everything was piping hot and tasty and the customer service was outstanding. Yes it was a lot of people in the deli but everything operation wise ran very smoothly and staffs were outstanding. I would recommend.

I have been going to Rockies for years and most of the time they do a great job. Sadly this time they didn't follow thru with their great expectations. My friend ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich on a roll for $9 when all she received was a beef patty and a thin slice of cheese pretty much she ordered a roll since it was mostly bread. She also ordered a small container of tuna salad which was an appalling amount of money considering you can buy tuna at the grocery store for $1.50 a can. I thought the price point would be $3.50 but instead it was $7. Not sure if I'll be going back there to waste my money. Very unsatisfactory

Slightly over priced but is always open. Can count on the guys at Rocky's to be open any day of the week, all day long. Had the donuts burger (Forgot what that was called) and the chip chip roll. I must try when passing through millwood.

My new favorite road stop. Often, going upstate we order Italian sandwiches for the road trip. On July 4, favorite place in the city closed. Ordered from another one online. Not doing deliveries. (Don't they think anyone needs sandwiches yo take to fireworks?) Anyway, back to Rocky's. Terrific sandwiches (we got Italian Combo and Genoa salami with provolone) at about half the price

For 15 years Rocky's has been our 24x7x365 goto when we don't feel like cooking. Our favorites include Spicy Chicken Cutlets, Buffalo Blue Chicken, Millwood Sandwich, Chip Chip and Liz B Sandwich. Fun fact - Rocky's never closed even for a minute from it's inception in 1964 till Hurricane Sandy shut everything down in 2012

Great food best deli I've ever been to. I see some bad reviews which blows my mind bc every time I've come here I've eaten something delicious. Staff is always pleasurable and they always make fun light hearted jokes while you wait.

Food is a hugely personal thing -- not a one-size-fits-all -- and these guys truly *get it.* It's one of those creature comforts that will have people coming back again and again when done right, and that's why Rocky's is packed with return customers at all hours of the day and night, 24/7/365. Have a weird, off-menu request? They got you. Want half a sandwich instead of a full? They got you. Extra crispy? Coming right up. If they're able to make it, they will literally never turn you down. That's how you achieve a loyal following instead of just customers: give people exactly what they want, made to order, and they'll love you for it. They've got a menu of both traditional deli foods along with some creative unique twists (pretty sure I saw a sandwich on a doughnut listed somewhere on there), and the combination of ingredients, both hot and cold, is endless. Also some salads, fruits, pastries, and other snacks. Customer service is stellar. These folks are so nice, and will give you individual attention no matter how busy they are. Somehow, everything here just tastes better somewhere around the neighborhood of 1am or so. Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure it's science. Try it and tell me I'm wrong -- that's right, you can't.

Small but very well staffed. Food didn't disappoint. Quick service. Great menu. When I have limited time in the morning I can count on them for a good, quickly prepared breakfast sandwich.

Decent sandwiches but service is a a sh*tshow. Maybe I'm a bit biased coming from NYC delis, but can't things be run a bit more efficiently/organized here? There must be at least 8-10 people behind the sandwich counter on a Saturday around 11:30am, and there doesn't need to be. When we came in the place was fairly packed, but there's no rhyme or reason to the ordering or payment process. The service was friendly but it just felt so rushed and haywire and you're left waiting among hordes of people and not sure where to stand. The people were friendly and for that reason I'm giving 3 stars, but maybe management should road trip down to Manhattan, BK, or Queens and take some notes. You can serve just as many people in a more orderly fashion with just 1 or 2 (or max 3!) deli people behind the counter. Then maybe there would also be a way to implement some sort of organized ordering and payment process without so many moving parts at constant fever pitch. Oh, and you should really be taking credit cards, it's 2023.

Day, night, weekend, weekday, Rocky's is there, has been there and as many of my local foodies will hope, will always be there!!! People it's 3:30am and you are starving, GO TO ROCKY'S!! OMG talk about an oasis in a sea of night time stars! Friendly staff, hot food all around the clock! Good portions! Strong variety of food! Think deli with a grill and a kitchen. Yup. Just about any type of food can happen! Run in, order, get your eats than sit outside on curb or hood of car and if your lucky, some of our fellow locals or college students will entertain you on those late night munchie runs!!!. Ha ha ha. I strongly recommend Rocky's. Anytime any day!!!
