Best Pizza in the area! Go no where else! This family is very chill and hospitable! Their pizzas, their meatball parmigiana is a must order and don’t forget grab an order of garlic knots with mozzarella cheese on top; drop some marinara sauce and parmesan cheese on top with some oregano for more flavor!

Atmosphere is fine, pizza is okay. Just be careful because they like to secretly charge you extra without telling you. How a 3 dollar slice turned into me paying 9 dollars is something I'll never know. Be careful in this place because I for sure won't be coming back

We ordered stuffed shells with shredded spinach however there was literally no shells and a whole bunch of spinach at the bottom. Very disappointed!

The food is good for its price, it tastes good and is of decent quality, but honestly what's keeping me from going back is the service and the atmosphere. I've been going to this pizzeria for a while now and I really enjoy the pizza, but what I don't enjoy is that every time I go there I have to battle with the immense group of chaos that is the people. Specifically the large group of students from the nearby school that like to linger EVERYWHERE when they're not even buying anything. They sit on tables on their phones not allowing costumers to sit and enjoy their food, they block all the doors so you can't even get inside or outside, and they cause fights. You say excuse me to try and get through and they throw nasty remarks back at you. The employees don't really seem to mind the chaos but I can say that I do mind the chaos. It kind of discourages you a little about the food and how they prep/make it when all you see is kids on top of tables fighting and arguing and employees not doing anything about it and when the employees get a little distracted and forget what you ordered and give you the wrong stuff. Not to mention that they grab your food with hands that have not been washed after touching dirty money constantly. I’m sorry but I don’t really want to be eating food that’s been touched by dirty hands. I used to go here all the time but I just don’t see myself coming here as much anymore.

Ordered pie and she made me wait and gave away all the pies and I never got mine what horrible experience will never be back. And I’m happy I did not receive it because I see you guys sell pork products. I waited over 20 min was told 10min you were more concerned of making money off slices it’s a business I understand. I’m relieved just went to L&B spumoni got pizza that’s never disappointing 👍 thanks

Going to Rocky’s pizza you truly feel like you are part of the family. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We are regulars. Every Thursday you will find us there for dinner!! If you have not tried it please do but carefully spread the word of how amazing they are! we wanna ensure that we still get a table every Thursday.

This place is amazing!! They catered my need for food sensitivities and tripled checked that the food was ok before they wrapped it up! I felt so seen! The owner, Rocky, was so kind and super personable and we had a great conversation about his singing career and his love for food and customer appreciation..

Idk what Ceasar dressing they use but it's everything!!! Love me the chicken Ceasar salad the service is always spot on!!! It's a regular pizza spot. Nothing fancy just nice people with good Ceasar dressing for the salad!!! Lolll

Hands-down, the best pizza close to the park. I've been going to this place for years. Family owned and the friendliness of the staff and quality of the food proves it. Not only is it the perfect spot for a slice, but it's great by the pie as well. Good spot for groups, especially any teams playing at the parade grounds. They also have glass bottle Coca-Cola. Super convenient and super friendly! Not to throw shade, but this is way better than the one next to the park on the Windsor Terrace side - I made the mistake of going there once, if you're on that side of the park, the walk over to Rocky's is definitely worth it. Love the aesthetic as well !

They have a great selection and the pizza slices are really good! They have been around for a long time so it's good to see they are still doing good!

I remember once, while waiting for my pizza to be made, I was looking at their tray of hot wings that one of the guys (I think one of the sons of the family owned business) was refilling. And he saw me look at said platter of wings and offered one to me. For free. Man, right then & there, my loyalty to Rocky's was cemented. It's the best pizzeria in Brooklyn, period.

Had a grandma slice at 12:30 pm on a Tuesday and it tasted like it was clearly from last night. Dry and tough dough. Imagine biting in on a thick cracker. Grandma slices suppose to be thin. This was like biting into a 1in sour dough bread.

So kind workers. Best taste of pizz. Highly recommend it. I always go this shop whenever I want pizza.

The pizza is good but do yourself a favor and pick it up in person rather than get delivery. Ordered a large pie at 6:46pm. Called at 8pm to see where it is and was told delivery guy is approaching my house. Called again at 815pm and was told this time for sure the delivery guy is approaching. 8:19pm he came. No explanation, no nothing. Over an hour and a half to get a single pizza pie is a guarantee I'll never order delivery again.

The pizza slices are huge! Definitely get a slice or two if you're really hungry. The pizza was very good. And the lady working there was nice too. Haha. I also liked the scenery inside of the restaurant, because me and my sister thought it looked like an 80's Arcade Place for some reason. I would recommend.

My boyfriend heard about this place and honestly we tried. We ordered a regular sized pie (half pepperoni and half plain) and made plans to spend the evening watching movies. We were excited because for the most part we've discovered some great pizzerias in the past and this place seemed to be the exception. The pizza was bland and easily forgettable. The dough tasted off and the crusts were rock hard. We both agreed that the pizzeria in my neighborhood served better quality and tastier pizza. We didn't even bother taking pics.

Pizza okay. But I definitely think it's over priced compared to the locals. A tomato slice is $5. Hmm where is this tomato coming from. Good people family owned. But they must pay attention to the price.

Ordered some food from here and they delivered someone else's food they bring my order and the pizza was stuck to the box . The box was crushed like someone sat on it. SMH! This is the second time In a month this is how my pizza was delivered.

A neighborhood institution has returned after being closed from a fire. Pizza is just as good as I remembered. Staff is friendly and the owner is so excited to be back. Once the word gets out this place will he hopping.

Amazing choice of delicious New York pizzas. We had the buffalo chicken and the margarita. Sitting on Coney Island Avenue, with a cold Coke, and this pizza on a hot day is to be experienced.

It is so nice that Rocky's, a local institution, has reopened after their fire and extended shutdown. I am a huge Lo Duca in the Newkirk Plaza fan but on a Sunday when Lo Duca is closed, Rocky's is a good second choice. They serve traditional Brooklyn pizza and it is obvious they take pride in their product. Admittedly I have only eaten here a few times, but each time I was equally impressed with the friendly service and the quality of the pizza. Definitely worth a try if you find yourself nearby!

One of the best pizza places in Brooklyn. I recommend that you order your pizza from scratch, even though their individual slices, when you pass by, are pretty good. You can custom order virtually any kind of pie you wish, and incidentally, they have good deserts you can order for deliver. Also, they are great neighborhood people. Rocky himself will give you items for free when you go in, let's people have fun in the pizzeria himself, and makes you feel welcome when you come in out of the heat or cold. The place was closed for a long time due to a fire; I am so glad they are back. Incidentally, I also walked out of a local restaurant known for fine dining when they were serving soggy pizza, and went across the street to Rocky's - which was much better. I will avoid talking about that other place for now.

They have not only the ordinary Pizzas like the standard Pizza Stores do,they have an specials like Cheeseburgers W/French Fries which is my favorite with an Can of Welch's Grape Soda

Came here yesterday night ordered a Sicilian cheese slice. The person who tended to me let me choose the slice And I chose the middle piece and it was really good! The other thing I ordered was the Stromboli but it wasn't as good as the Sicilian slice.

And the only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is cause my fat ass would've liked a little more ranch but other then that this is still as amazing as when I was growing for dinner, after school and now after work, it's still bussin

Horrible food, I took home eggplant arm, chicken wings, 1 slice! The eggplant has too much bread crumbs, the sliced eggplant was so thin you couldn't taste the eggplant. The chicken wings weren't brown, I had the literally cook them in the oven! They had no flavor at all! The pizza was was horrible! The cheese was so gummy and chewy because it was low grade cheese, it had no flavor! Who ever thinks the food is good don't know GOOD italian food! I will NEVER go back!

I ordered I pepperoni pizza and some mozzarella sticks for delivery , and it seemed like they ran over the food , it was alll smooshed , and the mozzarella was cold . The pizza was ok but it looked like if the driver sat on it . Only had it once , I'm willing to give them another try.

This place was amazing. The food was so good and everybody was kind and helpful. It's the cutest little restaurant, it has the most delicious food and desserts. It's amazing for sharing. The entire restaurant was very warm and welcoming.

This is by far the best pizza I have ever had !!!! I don't know why it has 3 stars but maybe it's from the locals! I am not not from Brooklyn and in California we don't have pizza like this! My friend and I were visiting Brooklyn and saw this nearby . We ignored the 3 star rating and went jn because this was not a typical tourist pizza place so we figured it was going to be something special!! Yes it was!! I had the baked ziti pasta on top of pizza and it was amazing!!!! The pasta was cooked perfectly and combination of it on top of the pizza was heaven!!!! I wish I had a place this amazing where I live!!! It was truly the best pizza ever!!!!

I'm glad I found this place on my way to run errands. I love the pizza sauce. Some places just don't get it right. It can get a little packed during after school hours, but it's definitely worth the wait. I can't wait to try out other items on the menu.

Not very good pizza at all. It just doesn't feel like a New York pizza. It's sweet. Pizza isn't supposed to be sweet. The crust feels like he buys it. It doesn't taste like a pizza crust at all. I was really hungry so I bought two slices. I took two or three bites and tried to feed the rest of my dog, but he wouldn't eat it either. And he loves pizza! So I put it next to a tree hoping some birds would eat it. It was there for days. This just isn't an authentic New York pizza.

Came to Brooklyn to see where my mother grow up and my friend and I wanted authentic NYC pizza saw this place when walking around and had to stop in and try there pizza. I MuST say hands down best pizza we both ever had it was so good, I got regular cheese pizza and my best friend got the pasta pizza and they were melt in your mouth so delicious. I highly recommend trying there pizza you won't be disappointed !!!! They also have different kinds of pizza, bread sticks, wings , calzones, garlic breed and more. Can't wait to go back to NYC just to have the pizza again !!!

I remember it was raining outside and late. I was walking home from the Church Avenue Q train late at night, and that's a pretty lengthy walk in questionable neighborhoods since I live off the f/g line. I saw pizza in the distance. Mind you . . . . this was like a year ago. I think they were close to closing up for the night. They were washing the floors. I asked for a plain cheese slice and they had run out. I frowned. The man working was pretty awesome though and told me to pick any slice and he'd sell it to me for the same price as a regular cheese. I've never encountered a shop that does that kind of bargaining in my life. Awesome. I think slices run around $2.50. It wasn't outstanding but it wasn't terrible. I choose a broccoli slice but it had raw onions on it and the veggies were tough and the crust was hard to chew. The slice was also kind of cold as I walked the rest of my way home in the rain with it. But will never forget that kind of quality customer service.

Ordered a large pepperoni pie..got a plain one. $14.00. But no harm no foul since I didnt get charged. Hey Im in an ez going mood. Its a standard slice pie, a lil on the bready side but its fine in the pizza elements of cheesy, greasy and salty. Not a saucy pie. Has herbs already sprinkles on top. Hits da spot for a cheap meal. Boom.

First of all, gotta love the 'Rocky' theme, they even have boxing gloves on the awning. Trademark/copyright infringement, possibly, but I likey. Anyway, my area of Flatbush and even some of the surrounding neighborhoods seem to be in the 'sub-par pizza zone of Brooklyn'. I can't find as quality pizza as I can find in Williamsburg, Bensonhurst, or even Bay Ridge. But Rocky's Pizzeria is alright, nothing to rave about, but not bad. I've never eaten in the place itself, I just order delivery. I do like that their menu has a lot of items, and they do have some ridiculously cheap specials listed on the back. I usually just order a large plain pie. I noticed they're a little hit or miss with their amount of sauce that they put on their pizza, so I started ordering my pies with extra sauce, and it works out fine. The pizza is average, but it always arrives piping hot and the guy that usually picks up my delivery call is really nice on the phone. The pizzas are baked well, not too overdone, not too underdone, just right. The cheese is basic mozzerell, not top shelf stuff, but not government cheese. The sauce used on the pizza is a little bland, needs some garlic, salt, or oregano. I've also ordered a cheesesteak from them, but told them to add green peppers and mushrooms, their standard just comes with provolone, steak, and onions, I need those peppers baby! I pull mushrooms sometimes with my cheesesteak, depending on my mood. I also ordered a Jamaican beef patty from them on one of my orders, and it's was regs, it's a beef patty, nothing extravegant. All in all this place is average, but has been the best place in my area as far as pizzerias are concerned. I will still try to track down a legitimately good pizza place in my area, so if anyone has a suggestion, please let me know. Preferably a place that delivers. Honestly... neon scares me, and the corner bus stop location is a deterrent, but i recently braved the outskirts of my comfort zone to try Rocky's. Really appreciated it quite a bit. The pizza was every bit as good as what you can get a few blocks away on the Korner, but i didn't have to pay a small ransom for lunch. Special #1...unbelievable deal. OK. but let's get to the goods... the pizza is what you would expect of a good local pizzeria. The crust, perfect. not too thin or thick, crispy outside, fluffy inside. Quality ingredients all around it seemed. I'm not complaining that i have to walk three more blocks to get it because it's worth it. I just got tired of Korner upping the ante so often. I'm pretty sure that Rocky is gonna be my go-to local pizza joint from here on in. part deux. rockys KILLS all other K-town pizzerias. just took home a rocky's special...it was LOADED with premium toppings that you would never get at korner. this wonderous slab of pie was laden with the typical ingredients you'd find on a special...pepperoni, sausage, meatball, peppers, mushrooms...what i was nopt expecting were the generous amounts of broccoli and spinach, and three kinds of peppers. i asked for the special, no onion, olive or anchovy and they really piled just about everything else they had onto this pie.

This used to be one of the places that my family and I would call on Friday nite's, for home delivery. Not anymore. My family are pepperoni pizza lovers. So as usual, we would order 1 or 2 pepperoni pies (depending on how many of us were home). In this particular night, we ordered 1 pie. Waited the usual 1/2hr-45min. We payed (with a good tip), opened the pie... And found, the pie came with one pepperoni slice and seven regular slices . Honest mistake, right? My wife called Rocky's to inform them of the mistake. We wanted to return the pie and receive our proper order, but from the sound of it, they seemed to be mistaking our order with someone else's. They ended up, hanging up on my wife. So I decided to call. They picked up and I explained what had happened. The employee then hands over the phone to Rocky himself. He says, "this is rocky" with attitude in his voice. Okay, so now I explain to him my order and what I received. He says, "so, what do you want?" He then says, "you paid $1 dollar extra for the one pepperoni slice" and I said, "no, I paid for a full pepperoni pie". I am now arguing with the owner who doesn't have his facts straight and can't admit their mistake. He then says, "what do you want because I'm busy." "I would like to get what I paid for" , I said but I changed my mind because after arguing with the boss, I don't know what "extra" toppings my pie would come with. So I kept the pie and ended my relationship with Rocky's. As much as I liked Rocky's pizza. I don't like it enough to support bad attitude. Goodbye Rocky's.

Ok service, ok pizza. The crust is the best part. I was hoping for more based on the venue size and food variety. The servers were friendly enough, but I won't likely have another taste of this place.

Sometimes eggplant in red curry and lame tofu starters make you get all crazy and shit. Sometimes it makes me want a suitably crappy NY slice. Rocky's might be the quintessential Brooklyn counter, complete with giant pies, beef patties, gyros, and innumerable pix of Stallone. The neighborhood sucks, but the ambiance of the place is priceless. The pie is good, but make sure you don't get something that's not high volume. A fresh mozz and tom slice might be hours older than a regular cheese. We found that the spice shakers are nearly mandatory, but that's how NY pie is, I reckon. You'd think some restauranteurs somewhere would give two shits about their sauce. Regardless, 5 zeppole for a buck will always make me forget about tomato sauce....

3 stars is the most I'd give go a plain venue.*** I rate this place a 2.5 cuz their zeppolies turned tiny recently. For a close by local pizzeria, Rocky's has very good pizzas. The pre-made n displayed for a sit-down order are usually generously filled with toppings. Their zepoles: which they usually always have on hand are oversized, delicious, and 5 for a buck. except recently when they turned into tiny little zeppolies. ***To be fair to other review readers such as myself, a venue would have to have something unique or extraordinary to get any higher than 3 stars; as I wouldn't want to go sending people out of their way just for a plain venue.

You live in Kensington. You're feelin' lazy. You've ordered take-out from the same 3 places and you're thinkin' that you need to change things up. You think that maybe, just maybe Rocky's will be the best pizza that nobody's talking about.....maybe.... Sigh. Sadly Rocky's pizza won't be exactly what you dreamed for. But hey, it IS pizza and Special 1 is a serious deal, man. For $20, a total you'll see written on the box upon delivery, you get a large cheese pie, wings, mozzarella sticks, and a soda of your choice! Shoooot that's a sweet deal. The pizza crust is a bit too thick, but reheats beautifully. The mozza sticks are fine enough and when questioned about the chicken, my male counterpart replied, "oh it was spicey, but....dry". We ate it, it was satisfactory. As a matter of fact, I'm eatin' the left overs now for breakfast. That's a decent sign, right?

I've been here a few times ...a couple times just to have a slice to eat in and its always been good. I've gotten large pizzas to go as well. I also have had their sicilian which i really like and prefer to the regular pizza. The service is good and always friendly and the pizza is real good as well. They have a deal for large pizza , wings, mozzerella sticks and soda for 20 bucks which we get. I've never had delivery because we live close and I just go pick it up myself. I prefer this place to the pizza place on cortelyou, pizza is better.
