ROCTACO

It's definitely an acquired taste and a one-time visit for us. The food reminds me of Chipotle. This is an Americanized Mexican food not your traditional Taqueria, so don'texpect tacos alpastor with an amazing salsa taquera lol. The menu is not easy to follow or understand (it's super busy) oh and be ready to get neck pain because the menu is way above the oder window and the space is small. The rice has a lime flavor that I didn't like. The meat is good--tender and juicy--but the sauces they use are an acquired taste. I like the carne asada. Not a fan of chimichurri. They grill cheese on the tortillas--this is good and definitely adds flavor. IF we go back I will ask for no sauce to the carne asada. I tried one chimichurri taco and a carne asada taco. My wife had the carne asada burrito--the lime rice and sauce ruined the burrito. To end on a positive note, the ambiance of the space is small but very nice.

So I tried this place for the first time today and I was very impressed. One word flavor!!!!!! Sadly downtown it's kind of hard to find if you don't know where it is. It's by the liquor store!! I got the food within about 2 minutes at 1:30. I had the Jimmy Churri, rude bull and the al pastor tacos. The flavors are wild. They don't have a huge selection, but it's good enough that you can eat there probably most of the time. Yes these are not like the real deal tacos but they are executed very well. The corn tortillas were cooked correctly, not dry and actually tasted good by themselves. All the ingredients were quality a fresh. The lime juice popped, the al pastor was good, tender and deep flavor. The beef was very good, not dry at all. Even though I had three different things they were all individually balanced which I appreciated I was impressed for what it was and for the price it was very good

This place was really good! The decorations are really unique, it’s a great spot to dine-in! My friend and I ordered tacos with Amy Hates Fish and Angry Bird. Both were pretty tasty! The store is located next to a parking lot so super convenient to get into! I would definitely recommend.

Love love love this place!! It’s a great spot to pop in for a few tacos as an appetizer before you head to dinner somewhere nearby. My favorite taco is the Rude Bull. So flavorful!! The chef is also the best and always makes the experience so much fun.

Interesting little taco shop. Super cool vibes. Honestly I like what they’re going for. It was however $11.50 for two street style tacos. Super steep. Honestly not very good value as I could’ve ate 10+ and still been hungry. The tortillas were homemade and honestly super good! The tacos themselves were sorta bland. We got the Korean one and the barbecue pork one. The Korean one was just a little bit of beef with purple cabbage, jalapeños, and siracha mayo. The pork one had a lot more toppings and was a little more flavorful but the pork didn’t have much flavor and it mostly tasted like the barbecue sauce it was covered in. Both meets had no real flavor and the tacos mostly tasted like siracha/barbeque sauce. They didn’t have a salsa bar but, they had the standard hot sauces you’d see at any other taco shop. They also had one homemade hot sauce that was good. Overall I’d say it was worth a try. They did have different flavors than most traditional taco shops.

If you’re in Salt Lake and you’re not eating at Roctaco, you’re missing out. This place deserves a raving review. The food is fresh, bold, and packed with flavor that hits from the first bite. The tacos were incredible. Perfect seasoning, great texture, and just the right amount of heat. You can tell they care about the details here because everything feels intentional and well-balanced. The staff was friendly and fast, and the whole place has a cool, laid-back vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. It’s the kind of spot you immediately start telling your friends about. Five stars all the way. If you love tacos or just great food in general, put Roctaco at the top of your list. I’ll be back.

It's about time I made the effort to review this place. My husband and I have been going 20 miles out of our way to enjoy these tacos. It's our favorite restaurant in Salt Lake. I'd rank it with the Michelin Star restaurants across the world we have visited. The flavors are complex and well balanced. Every taco a delicious flavor story, and a fine one. A couple of my favorites are the Rude Bull and the Bahn Mijo, but I honestly enjoy them all. I'll be shocked if Roctaco doesn't become a national chain in the near future. Trust me. Go there and enjoy this unique culinary experience.

Service was absolutely the worst! Young girl took our order & kept talking to someone as we ordered so she asked us to repeat what we wanted more than twice. There was only 3 people in the whole space & they served everyone their food except us, they asked us to go get our food at the front, everyone else was white except us. For a taco spot the environment is extremely white washed doesn’t feel like an ethnic fusion of what they serve. Tacos definitely not worth the price. Won’t be returning here again. A bowl of literal rice/beans/meat nothing extra or fancy, 4 tacos & some guac $62.

ROCTACO is tucked away in an alley, so it's easy to miss, but this place is truly a hidden gem. I stopped by on my last day in SLC while traveling, but honestly I think if I'd found this place sooner, I definitely would've been back. I was a little skeptical about the unique flavor combinations at first, but they were all so spot-on. Every ingredient complemented the others perfectly. I ordered the Tikka, Uncle Al, and Chancho (raspberry carnitas), and they were all incredible. (The Chancho needs to be a permanent menu item!!! Please!!) Service was quick and efficient, and the food came out fast. Would be back if i could!

Amazing taco shop down an alley in downtown slc. I had four tacos and they all hit. Very unique and flavors from around the world. The Al pastor was my favorite Mexican style I had. The chancho was a limited item and I think it needs to be permanently on the menu. Raspberry carnitas are two things I'd never think belong together but I've been mistaken in my logic. I could've ate a few of just that one. Soooo unique and sooo good. Thanks Roctaco!!

Absolutely love this place! A little pricy but well worth it. The strawberry horchata is incredible. Highly recommend the Goat tacos. Really cool vibes on the inside.

Ooof... really wanted to love this place but it just did not hit the spot for me. The concept of all these crazy mixes for tacos seemed great but I don't think they were fully executed for me. I think this placed was overhyped for me personally. They are a bit pricy for a single taco but I figured with all the interesting flavors it would be worth it but it wasn't. I think what I disliked the most about it was that all my tacos were COLD. So it just seemed like everything is prepped before hand not warmed at all and then they just put it all together. So from the cold meats to cold tortillas and toppings I did not find it tasty.

Employees were respectful and polite. The food was amazing and I suggest everyone try these tacos in slc. One of the best shops around and the setup of the restaurant is a super chill environment and kicked back.

I have been to roctaco multiple times and honestly the food is SO GOOD!! They have a bunch of really unique combination dishes. I normally get the tacos, but any of the flavors can be put into a bowl, burrito, nachos, or quesadilla as well. The flavors are so delicious and I love how they've combined them! I also have to shoot out the Pom guac. The pomegranate seeds add a sweetness and a crunch that I love! The vibe is fun and they always have good music playing. It's casual and laidback. The service is good but sometimes I feel like I am bothering the person that im ordering from. They have fountain soda here with a very good Diet Coke brew. They also offer Coke in a glass bottle which I love as a treat especially with Mexican food!

Place is tucked into a back alley downtown. Parking is tight, so be prepared to park & walk, rideshare, or parallel park close by. The restaurant was busy when we came with a line extending outside. Be sure to know your order before you get to the register. They will be kind & answer questions, but you will feel the pressure to keep the line moving. We ordered a holy kalbi taco, busan birria taco, Tikka taco, rude bull burrito, & a horchata shake. It was easy to find a table, but space is limited. The kitchen prepared our meals quickly. Just by the smell, I immediately knew I loved this place. Every bite was fresh & delicious. My husband couldn't finish his burrito it was so big. I, of course, finished all 3 tacos. They were SO good. The horchata shake was a sweet treat which complimented the entrées. This place is worthy of 5 stars & I hope to return very soon!

Not a traditional taqueria by any means but definitely a gem. Fusion with LA influence. Food: They have fresh made tortillas and cheese crisp it. That texture profile and extra effort, well you can taste it. I ordered three tacos. The G.O.A.T., Jimmy Churri and the Rude Bull. The GOAT was more traditional but with caramelized onions. I ordered it with carnitas. Really good but I missed the bite of raw onions. I'd order it again. Jimmy Churri was delicious! Unique and flavorful. By far my favorite. Rude Bull is braised meat. Soft, flavorful but I wanted more contrast? My partner got the Funky Clucker, Amy Hates Fish, Holy Kalbi and Uncle Al. Funky Clucker is a play on chicken and waffles. Good but not my favorite. Amy Hates Fish was decent. I want more crisp on that fish. Holy Kalbi has an Asian profile but definitely not Korean. Uncle Al was good. More traditional but too sweet. I wanted the mango salsa on the fish. Maybe some heat for the corn. Vibe: I love the location and vibe. Urban pop. Clean and you can see them cooking. Customer service: Friendly, personable and helpful. I asked her for recommendations and was not disappointed.

We frequent Roctaco. My bf can't get enough of Amy Hates fish. My favorite is the Jimmy Churri. I also love the Asian flavors. I think they got rid of the taco with a fried egg and that breaks my heart, the K-pop. It's been missing from the menu the last few times we went/ordered. I've tried the nachos and burritos but I'd recommend sticking to the tacos so you can try a greater variety. We've never had anything bad here. The angry bird could use a bit more spicy IMO, but it's still lovely.

Nice mellow and popular joint. Great fresh takes on tacos, & Taco Tuesday is a real bargain. Got a Jimmy & an Al, both very good. Jimmy was the bomb! Chips were fresh, albeit a bit in the thin side (the guac broke many a valiant chip warrior). Guac itself was fresh, but uninspired. Beer selection limited, but at least it was cold & tasty, served w/a lime.

Not bad, my wife liked this place a lot more than me. Parking can be tough, but not impossible. The food is good, the burrito needs to be rolled a little tighter, but not bad. The tacos seem to be the way to go though. Lot of different varieties, she really liked the Korean influence ones. I think we'll be back and I'll try the tacos.

When there twice and both times was really good! We tried the burrito, it was huge, I think the flavor we got was Jimmy Churri with carne asada, and the cheese crust. The fish taco was good, I think maybe it was expensive for what it was. The nachos were pretty good, only thing was they got a little soggy for the amount of sauce but that's just personal preference. The second time I went I got a bowl and it was DELICIOUS, I got the Amy hates fish one.

Uncle Al Nachos = Nacho Royalty RocTaco knows what's up. The RocNacho Uncle Al came out crazy fast and came to SLAY. Every chip is smothered in melty queso, tender pulled meat, roasted corn, and topped with a party of flavors. The vibe? It's always Upbeat, it's creative, and it's chill--with music that makes you wanna dance between bites. Service? Always Friendly and lightning fast. Food? Outrageously good. Always. Period. If you're thinking about it, stop it and--just go! You won't be disappointed.

This place was the highlight of our time in Salt Lake City! I loved the urban decor and the giant octopus mural, and the service was amazing! I ordered the nachos with Funky Clucker flavor which included crispy fried chicken, churro bites, maple aioli, bacon and chipotle honey. The combo of the ingredients was so random and somehow worked SO WELL TOGETHER. Besides the churro bites I felt like those weren't adding anything but these were some of the best nachos I've ever had. My boyfriend got 3 tacos; banh mijo, jimmy churri and another one that was a special, and he was blown away. We would recommend this place to anyone in Salt Lake City!!

ALL of the Travis were amazing! Uncle Al, Kimmy Churri, and KC Pig were the ones I ordered. This place is A MUST of you love street tacos! 5 stars

Super fast service and bustling ambiance. Tikka taco was meh - okay tikka flavors with dry chicken, but other than being wrapped in a flour taco shell with cilantro garnish, not much of any Mexican taste fusion.

I must confess that I'm a regular here who orders the same thing every time because that's how much I love it: the Rude Bull nachos. It's a guilty pleasure meal I get to treat myself when I'm having a rough day. I order them with extra chipotle sauce and lather them in Cholula because I take my spicy food verrrrry seriously. The space is casual, modern, and hip with unique seating and decor. It's very colorful and vibrant inside and has the nostalgic feel of a video game I played as a child. But for real, please do yourself a favor and get your paws on these NACHOS.

I did not expect my all-time favorite quesadilla to be found in Salt Lake City, Utah. But that is why I love traveling! Roctaco is simply amazing and y'all must go here for incredible eats at very fair prices. I went with the funky clucker and I'm still thinking about that crispy fried chicken with bacon and that honey sauce drizzled on top! Wow. Ilaince im here for thru the weekend I'll surely be back to try more but 10/10 must stop here when in town. Cool decor, friendly staff and service. Top notch dining experience.

This place is a great little surprise. It's off the beaten path and I never would've known about it unless it had been recommended and so a friend and I went to lunch there. Not only is the food really delicious and the combinations well conceived but I watched one of their employees handle an Internet order gone bad with quite a lot of dexterity and good humor and it just felt nice to be in a place where I watched something that normally would go sideways and instead ended as well as it really possibly could have. The place was clean. The dishes were inventive. Staff was polite and they had this killer flambéed donut for dessert that really I highly recommend you try. It's super rich so you might have to split one, but it was an eye-opener.

Menu is a little confusing. The queso tasted burnt. My taco was cold due to the cold corn salsa that was put on it. I wanted to like it. It may have been an off day.

I'm sorry to say that Utah is not foodies paradise in any category, especially in "Mexican" food. Coming from Cali and being spoiled with flavorful Mexican, my expectations have been low here. Tried a few places including Red Iguana and a food truck/stand, still missing flavor. This is the first place I want to come back to again! It's a casual spot. The fish taco (sadly it's fried and no option for grilled), and chicken taco were amazing, especially the chicken. Each had the right amount of flavor and spice. The tortilla was so soft and tasted fresh, downside is it's so thin that I had to eat the chicken taco with a fork because the tortilla didn't stay together. I don't mind. Service was good too, coming back to try other stuff! Roughly $5 a taco.

Cool atmosphere and incredible tacos. They were big enough to be filling, full of topping and a great amount of meat! Interesting mixture of flavors and very good combos.

Nice vibe, queso was really good, chips a little salty but that's subjective. My burrito didn't have much beef in it, seems like they were skimping. It was also tough and poorly cooked. The rice, which was 70% of the burrito, was cooked weirdly or something so every bite i had to be careful because my teeth would hurt. Would've been 4 stars if not for the price...$27 for a beer, chips and queso, and a poor quality burrito

This is an amazing taqueria! The food here is so delicious we've been repeat customers every time we're in town. We usually get the 3 taco plate & it doesn't disappoint. The GOAT carnitas taco was my fave, but the Amy hates Fish & Jimmy Churri are a close second. The staff is very kind & friendly. It's a small place, the largest table only seats 4 so if you come with a group be prepared to sit in multiple spots. But the funky cool atmosphere is fun.

I came here for dinner and was impressed at Roctaco's uniqueness of each taco offering. The rude bull taco was by far my favorite with the meat being so tender. The inside of the restaurant is funky with some great music and seating towards the back!

The food is AMAZING! Get "The Funky Clucker"! My burrito was sooo good and unlike any I'd ever had before. Ambiance is fun. Staff are super nice. I will definitely be going back and I'm excited to share this place with all my friends!

Everyone absolutely raves about RocTaco, so I was excited to give it a try. Sadly, I don't think I'm their target audience. I am a pretty simple eater-I don't like a lot of sauces or unique ingredients. Give me shredded chicken or chunks of steak on a tortilla, and I'm happy. However, I can appreciate the art that this place brings. Their tacos are more than just a quick cuisine, they are culinary delicacies that diners with more distinguished palates than mine will surely enjoy. I would happily return-I just may opt to order off the kids' menu for something a little more to my childlike liking. :-)

I haven't been to roc taco for quite some time, so they had a couple new (to me tacos). I got the funky clucker and Amy hates fish. I did not realize how sweet the funky clucker would be, and the chicken seemed like it was fried a while ago. Not a fan. The fish one had a nice spice but again the fish did not seem freshly cooked. My husband enjoyed his tacos. We also got chips and queso, which was delicious! The food came out quickly and the place still has a fun vibe.

Potential... Granted, I had mine delivered and that can make things worse, but it was pretty bad. My chips were very still and that doesn't just happen on the drive over.. all of my tacos had way too much sauce on them and were drowning, and therefore the tortillas were soggy and gross. The flavors were pretty decent and the tacos in general probably would have been delicious if there was way less sauce on every single one of them.. I would definitely try them again because bad things can happen but so far there's a lot that can be improved.

I love the unique fusion tacos here! All the sauces and meats were amazing. My husband reported that the Jimmy Churri was one of the best tacos of his life! The K-Pop was my fave, especially the sauce. There's a lot going on with the ingredients, so be prepared to make a mess haha. The raspberry sauce was a highlight of Chancho, and the cheese crusted taco shell of Jimmy Churri was delicious and unique. When ordering, the staff were super nice, friendly, and explained where customizations were possible. We both despise onions, so we avoid when possible. The guac was onion-heavy so I wouldn't get that again, but YMMV. We picked off a lot of extra cilantro. The tortillas tasted fresh and I didn't care that the tacos fell apart- the ingredients just worked so well together. Great find!

I've sampled many different tacos and few of their sides here and I have enjoyed their tacos quite a bit! I really like the Asian flare they have and the execution has been really delicious. The reason why it gets 4 out of 5 is that even though the taco shells are doubled, some just fall apart making it impossible to eat as a taco and it has to be eaten with a fork. The street corn side is also sometimes a hit or miss... Overall if you're craving different kind of tacos for lunch, do stop in to sample some delicious and filling tacos!

Food was good but not amazing. The tortillas were a bit doughy and the elote was made from canned corn which made it a bit lackluster. However, the flavors of the taco was interesting and unique. Definitely worth a try but not exceptional .

I'm of the opinion that we lucky citizens of the greater Wasatch Front are at not only peak pizza, but peak taco. It seems that the only shops more abundant than tattoo parlors feature tacos. I'm a big fan and heavy user, but it took me awhile to get to RocTaco in downtown Salt Lake City and I was kind of surprised. The big surprise for me is just how different every single taco joint can be. That may be why it is such a popular food, the ability to use different and sometimes unexpected ingredients offers a chef some serious room for creativity. RocTaco is absolutely running in this creative space and I applaud their efforts. I ordered three tacos, the Funky Clicker, the Bahn Mijo and the Uncle Al. Talk about different styles on one plate. The Bahn Mijo is obviously their take on the famed Vietnamese sandwich and I have to say it was a true and delicious representation. The sauce was excellent and the carnitas worked in tandem with the picked cucumber and jalapenos. My only wish was that it was spicier. Taco number two, the Uncle Al, was more traditional in scope, but the pineapple and mango salsa was the magic for me. Again, I wish it had been spicier. The last of the trio was the Funky Clicker, which featured chicken, churro bites, a maple syrup aioli, bacon and honey. I think maybe the chef is trying to be too funky on this one because the chicken had lost its crispness and discerning any of the other ingredients on their own, was nigh impossible. The churro bites just didn't work for me, either. Weird texture all around. Maybe that was the funky. At any rate, not one I would order again. The Uncle Al was the only one of the three to be served on a corn tortilla and the flour version obviously is homemade, with a decent chew, but was a little tough. All in all, I see why this place gets good reviews and is always recommended to me. The variety is appealing and I'd really like to go again and try the Amy Hates Fish tacos and the Angry Bird. Yelp tags this restaurant as one to try if you are a fan of Taqueria Facil, which is one of my favorite places to dine. I get the tie, but I think these places are farther part than closer together, but that's great for all of us. The taco, as I said before, is a great canvas for a taco artist to create and because everyone's a critic, I'll throw down my two cents: RocTaco is good and I'll go again because I really want to explore their other offerings. However, I'd like some more spice. The only salsa or hot sauce available were the old standards Cholula and a bottle of Louisiana hot sauce. A place this creative and with such a good grasp on flavor should be able to craft a homemade hot sauce to help ignite and excite the flavors in their tacos. I liked RocTaco, but it left me wanting just a little more.

Quite possibly the GOAT taco place fr. Everything on their menu is so good. We have been here like at least half a dozen times and had everything on the menu. Our faves include Uncle Al rude bull Amy hates fish. Ambiance is cool too with stickers on the walls. This place also get more points cuz they have punchcards where your 7th taco is free!!

First, a parking tip- I saw that the restaurant was down what I thought was an alley and I was too scared to turn that way and parked pretty far away and had to pay. Well... there's actually a ton of parking down there. A parking lot too. So don't be scared! The order taker guy was nice. He said they could make the Jimmy churri and the GOAT gluten free for me. They did the cool cheesey tortillas on corn which was awesome. I got the guac which was fine. It looks more exciting than it tastes. I did like the saltiness of the chips. The Jimmy churri was a little too spicy for me to enjoy much but my friend also got it and LOVED it. We both got the GOAT. I thought it was pretty good. Loved the quesadilla tortilla. My friend liked it too but preferred the Jimmy. And then he also got the funky clucker and he didn't like that one. He said chicken and waffles is good but not when you add mayo and lots of green onion.

Hard to find, easy to love--Upscale tacos done right. Unique ordering and fun vibe. Tacos were insanely good. Would return--so so good!! We had funky clucker, tikka (soooo good) and uncle Al. Guacamole was also a slam dunk!!

We stopped by RocTaco on Saturday before the band Kansas played at the Eccles when our other dinner reservations fell through. Even showing up at 6 PM on Saturday, there wasn't much of a wait although it was busy. You order at the counter and they call your name when your food is ready. We started with the chips and queso, we wanted it as an appetizer but were told that it would come out with our food. As it was a little busy it took 15 minutes for our food to arrive. After about 10 minutes I did ask if they could give us our quaso prior to the food and they accommodated my request. The quaso was good, 4/5. We ordered 6 different tacos to get a feel for what they offer. Some were better than others. I loved all the different offerings and creative tacos, big plus for being creative. Jimmy Churri - I thought this one was really good and loved the Parmesan & Manchego Cheese Crusted tortilla. 4/5 Angry Bird - + Spicy Tinga Chicken, Corn Poblano Salsa, Creamy Tomatillo sauce, Queso Fresco, Fresh Cilantro, Handmade Yellow Corn Tortilla. This was my favorite taco. 5/5 Uncle Al - Has a mix of Chile Sauce, Poblano Salsa, Pineapple Mango Salsa, but I thought it all came together to taste of BBQ sauce and even though I usually love Al Pastor, this was my least favorite taco. 3/5 Rude Bull - Carne Asada, Avocado Crema, Pickled Red Onions, Chipotle Lime Sauce, Queso Fresco, Fresh Cilantro, Handmade Yellow Corn Tortilla. Really liked this one probably my second favorite. 5/5 Chanco - Carnitas taco, Citrus Raspberry Sauce. 4/5 There are other tacos on the menu that I would like to try, so I guess I'll have to go back. Prices are a bit on the pricey side, but with queso and 6 tacos we took half of each taco home. PS. Kansas was awesome! Carry on my wayward son!

Went here last night with friends! Taco Tuesday means discounted price not discounted quality!! Hands down one of the best tacos I have ever had! The food is so fresh! The guacamole has pomegranate seeds in it! Delicious! The queso was also so so good! We all had the GOAT tacos! The carne asada was cooked to perfection! Definitely recommend giving this place a spot on your regular rotation! And they have Mexican Coke in a bottle!!! Two thumbs up!!!

A really fun variety of "tacos". They offer several different flavors, ranging from a typical Al pastor taco, to banh mi and Korean taco and even to one similar to chicken and waffles as a taco. Our favorites were the Jimmy churi and the k-pop. We also tried the bahn mijo, holy kalbi and another I don't recall the name, but it was the fried chicken and waffle like taco (this one was definitely too sweet and our least fave). Fun vibe and an easy quick bite to get when downtown.

ROCTACO serves up a solid selection of tacos in a laid-back and fun environment. The Rude Bull, my favorite, is a perfect Carne Asada taco. Their flour tortillas are delish and taste so fresh. Their tacos all have well-balanced flavors and fresh ingredients. Their queso is also SO tasty! The guac is fresh and has pomegranate seeds for a perfect crunch and burst of flavor. Service is quick and efficient, making it a reliable spot for a tasty and speedy meal. Josue was our cashier and was so helpful since it was my first time! He for sure added a whole star to my experience. A perfect choice for those seeking quality tacos with a fun and easy experience included.

Roc Taco is a real gem in the raw. It is located in an alley in downtown Salt Lake City. They can seat maybe 30 people. The site has brick on one wall corrigated metal on the other and an official: DIVE. The menu has great variety with world fillings for tacos. Music lightens up the space with 80 rap and hip hop. It has an edgy and young hip vibe. It is uber casual. We ordered the elote, Banh Mijo, The Royal, Uncle Al and Holly Kalbi tacos. The elote was terrible, overcooked corn, dry, hard and super salty. The tacos though exceeded expectations. The Royal was KC chicken in a BBQ sauce with fried onions and creamy slaw. FABULOUS and juicy! The Banh Mijo was asian carnitas with BBQ sauce, pickled veggies and jalapenos. Again, over-the-top flavor. The Uncle Al was el pastor carnitas with corn pablano salsa, pineapple salsa and caso fresco. Delicious does not even begin to explain it. The Holy Kalbi was Korean short rib, veggies and a sriracha dressing. Another Home Run! The tacos stole the show in this very simple establishment. The take away here is SIMPLE and DELICIOUS. There was enough variety, reasonably priced and good enough that I will be back. Great job, fun environment, over-the-top flavor, and edgy. Salt N Pepper, sir Mix A Lot are always welcomed background music with great food. MUST TRY!

ive been a long time supporter of roc taco, coming here for years. they have delicious tacos but for the life of them, they never get my to go order correct. every single time ive ordered, they have put on cilantro when i ask for it not to be added and mix up my tortilla options. its really frustrating, at this point i just expect it to happen. once, they remade the tacos after we pointed it out and then REadded cilantro on the remake while i waited almost 40 mins. its really bizarre. I dont know if the cilantro is pre mixed into their taco mix because otherwise it feels like they simply arent reading their orders. otherwise this place would be a 5 star review for me, super bummed.

Honestly food was good! Fusion Taco place. Some traditional fare, but also Asian inspired, southern style etc. We tried a few different tacos. All were good. The tortillas are fresh and handmade. The corn tortillas struggle to hold up but that's ok you can eat with a fork. I appreciated that they had Inca Kola. It's my favorite. My only concern is the set up. You order at a very high desk as you go up a ramp. This proved to be very difficult as a wheelchair user and luckily I was there with my spouse who ended up having to order for me. If I was alone, yikes!

Walking in we could see that they had a decent amount of service, but not a wait. It took a few minutes for a person to come to the counter to take our order. We ordered tacos and the nachos. Nothing to write home about. The Rude Bull tacos were okay. The meat was pretty tough. The toppings made them better, but not good enough to finish them. The Rocnachos were just not good. I have seen photos from other patrons that showed different chips and cheese than what I received. They were clearly store bought chips. And not the good ones. The cheese tasted like the Costco queso that I have at home. Not saying that it was, because I didn't see them prepare it, but it tasted just like it. There weren't enough of the other condiments to make them better. Could have been an off day, but we were not impressed with the food at all. The staff was nice though and the atmosphere was cool though.
