Our friends told us that this was the best burger place in Dallas and they were CORRECT. All of the food and sides are delicious. The staff is very knowledgeable about their menu and very attentive to your needs. This is a great place to grab a bite, hand with friends, or grab a drink after work.

The loaded cheese fries are a meal themselves!! They were crispy, loaded with cheese & bacon, and ohhh so scrumptious! The Pile on burger switched with the vegan patty is a MUST try! By far the BEST vegan patty I’ve ever had (that even includes when I travelled Australia!) Our server was absolutely the best! I wish I could remember his name. All I know was he was training someone tonight and we were out on the patio. The view, the location, the SERVICE, the FOOD, and the pricing was all on point!! Hands down the BEST place to get a burger & loaded fries in Texas!!

I've been here quite a few times over the years and not once has it disappointed - I've had a different burger almost every visit (in the ballpark of 8-10 times?) and they've all been great! The outdoor patio is a comfortable place for a chill evening and I'm glad to see they offer a few different (very good!) non-alcoholic beers, as well. This round I had the Royale with Cheese, cause it's a classic line! But I added shredded lettuce and pickles which was money. More fries than I can possibly finish.

This is a very popular spot so parking is tricky but when I tell you it was worth it! Best vegan burger I’ve ever had, they do not skimp on the fries, and the cocktails are great! We went on a Friday night and there was about a 30m wait but were sat immediately outside (they have fans and there was no direct sunlight!). Great service. Can’t rave enough!

Super popular place in Dallas, so expect to wait to be seated as it’s almost always packed. The hamburgers are huge and the flavors are unique.

Neat Place! It is definitely not a place you are going to drive by and say, "Hey, let's stop there!" The building exterior and parking lot are pretty nondescript other than the goat on the roof. Inside is neat and clean, but the weather was great and you know, it is COVID season (again), so we ate outside. The view isn't great, but there are lots of trees/shade, some games for kids or adults who have been drinking. The menu has lots of great choices for sandwiches and beer (craft and other). I tried the Chaca Oaxca burger, but could have gone in several different directions. We got an order of fries for the table: Cheese fries with no surprise (jalapenos on the side). Everyone loved their sandwiches, and the fries are huge. We got the fries first so we could order another round if we were still hungry, but we didn't because we weren't. This is one of those places you need to find on Yelp and follow directions. It is easy to get to and there is lots of parking. The staff was super friendly and helpful - we had lots of questions about different beverages. If you are in Dallas, take in the Rodeo Goat!

Last night (Monday), I visited Rodeo Goat in Dallas. It was my first visit to the highly-regarded burger joint. We arrived around 6.30pm and the outdoor patio was almost full, but we were able to find a large picnic table. We began our meal with a Caesar salad, which was quite large; however, one of us thought that the salad needed more dressing. We then ordered burgers and Rodeo Goat's legendary cheese fries. OMG. There are almost 20 burgers to choose from, and I had the Brad Sham burger, which included applewood smoked bacon, BBQ sauce and jalapeños. The real star of the show was the cheese fries. There must have been four or five potatoes' worth of fries, covered in melted cheese and jalapeños and served with ketchup and an incredibly tasty ranch sauce. By the end of the meal, I could even eat another bite. Service was friendly and quick, and prices are reasonable ($11 and up for their burgers, which do not come with fries).

Burger was amazing! I didn’t care too much for the fries with the queso cheese. Tasted more like melted American cheese than like a condensed nacho cheese. I don’t think any of us liked our drinks and they weren’t strong - tasted super bitter and couldn’t taste any liquor. I would go back for the burger and fries (minus the queso) 🙂

Yelp
Great burgers and even better service! The burgers came out super quickly and were delicious!

Lainey C.

Yelp
I had a wonderful time here at Rodeo Goat. The burgers are super tasty and very affordable. The service is super fast and attentive. The ambiance is very cute and chic. 5 stars.

Yelp
**Rodeo Goat** is a burger lover's dream, but let's talk about the real stars: the **patio** and those magical **cheese fries with surprise chili**. First, the patio. It's the perfect spot to soak up some sun, enjoy a cold drink, and ponder life's big questions, like, "How do they make these burgers so ridiculously good?" Whether you're there for a casual lunch or a lively evening with friends, the laid-back vibes and string lights make it the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. Bonus: it's pet-friendly, so your furry friend can also bask in the glow of your burger-induced happiness. Now, onto the cheese fries. These bad boys are a party on a plate--crispy fries smothered in melty cheese that's perfectly gooey. Just when you think they can't get any better, **bam! Chili!** That's right--there's a sneaky layer of savory, slightly spicy chili hiding underneath, like a culinary plot twist you didn't see coming. It's the kind of surprise that makes you want to high-five the chef. Of course, Rodeo Goat's burgers deserve their own standing ovation, but the patio and those epic cheese fries? They're the unsung heroes of this burger paradise. Whether you're a first-timer or a regular, you'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Yelp
Such a fun atmosphere! We came here on a whim and are so glad that we did!! Good beer prices and great burgers!! Definitely get the chips! Goat chips I think they are called. Hope for good weather, the back patio is the place to be!

Guy H.

Yelp
My first visit to this location and I see why it Yelps in at a 4.5 star average with 300 reviews. Vicious Burgers this place slings. I've visited two other Rodeo Goats and they're just as impressive. These Holy Grail's are the only exception right now to my " expensive" burger rule. You will spend $20 for a meal but who cares....youl be in heaven when you Go!

Gabi Y.

Yelp
This place was really good!! I loved my burger - I can't remember the name but it's the one with goat cheese. Like I was obsessed. The milkshake was great too. Would have been a 5 but our waitress wasn't the warmest lol. Definitely check this spot out!

Mykie D.

Yelp
Excellent! The food, the service and the ambiance were all spectacular. The chili was phenomenal! Pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed our meal and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend

James F.

Yelp
Excellent service, great tasting unique Burgers and delicious milkshakes quality and variety. Laid back sitting with plenty of room for large families and ample parking. Close to Hotel Anatole and Doubletree Hilton so no need to get in a vehicle unless you are worried about the heat.

Goodness I.

Yelp
Yum yum yum! Ate dinner here on a busy night. Thankfully they were able to seat us immediately (pro tip-don't go when there's a Stars game lol). Our server told us we "wouldn't like the onion rings bc it's best to order them when the restaurant is not busy bc can't cook throughly in busy times¯\_(ツ)_/¯" so we didn't order them... food was great and had no actual issues with flavors and such. Will definitely be back:)

Ashley S.

Yelp
Came with my mother for dinner and we really enjoyed the food and service. Upon arriving, you're able to seat yourselves so we found us a table and we were immediately greeted by our waitress. I ordered a B-L-TX and thoroughly enjoyed this drink. For my burger, I stayed simple with the D.C.C. Burger but made with a ground turkey patty and added avocado. The burger was huge and delicious! We ordered the hand cut fries to share and they came out crispy and hot! My mother also enjoyed her D.C.C. burger and added fresh jalapeños and a fried egg! We'll definitely return in the future!

Mary E.

Yelp
Really nice service!! People were very sweet. Food was HUGE I got the ranch burger and added a fried onion ring to it...YUM!!

Matthew C.

Yelp
Not bad. Burgers are pretty good and so are fries. The nachos are good as well. Good customer service and a nice atmosphere.

Jasmine L.

Yelp
Very casual spacious and fun burger, joints! The burgers are on the pricey side, but they are very unique and have a variety of toppings and ingredients. I got the nanny goats with a turkey patty, and it was delicious! We shared a side of regular fries, which were not too salty and seasoned well. I wish that the burgers came with a side of fries automatically given how pricey the burgers are The inside of the restaurant is very casual and laid-back. The service was pretty good, our server was nice and attentive. Sometimes it would take a while to get her attention, but it was pretty packed when we went on a weekend evening at peak dinner time. We did not have to wait to be seated, which was very nice! The parking was OK, it might be hard to find a spot during peak times, but there are spots on the side of the road if the lot is full. Next time, I hope to try this sweet potato fries, and the Oaxaca burger!

Rodney W.

Yelp
Sure, here's a review for Rodeo Goat: --- I recently visited Rodeo Goat, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The burger I ordered was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight. The customer service was top-notch; the staff was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. And let's not forget the delicious adult beverages--fantastic selection and expertly crafted. Rodeo Goat has definitely earned a spot as one of my favorite burger joints. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Stopped by after a full day at a conference on a Friday evening. The outside looks kind of upscale but inside is very casual. There are communal high top tables up front and in the "cage/pen", there are regular tables, which is where we sat. We were greeted quickly to have our drink orders taken. Service overall was good, as our food came out quickly. However we were never offered refills on our tea. We ordered the sugar burger. Mom got hers with turkey burger and I got beef, cooked medium. We ordered a side of house punched fries to share. This burger was soooooo goooood! It caught my eye on the menu due to the jalapeno jam and candied peaches and they didn't disappoint. My burger was cooked medium but it fell apart just a little. The meat is fresh and had good flavor. The fries reminded me of the ones my grandmother used to make, as she didn't believe in frozen fries! I hated I had to share my fries because they were so good! Overall, I would definitely eat here again, as they have several other burgers I would love to try.

Hannah L.

Yelp
This is my first time trying Rodeo Goat! It was certainly a cool trendy place and there are so many different options for burgers. Ambiance: There is louder noise level and darker lighting. The service was very slow and not that great. But other than that, there is plenty of seating and you can sit anywhere you want. Bar, outside, high tops, and tables/chairs. Cheese Fries: We ordered the cheese fries with brisket and chili and it was really good. There was a lot of flavor and cheese on it. The fries are really soggy though even the ones without chili on it. Nanny goat: This was a pretty plain burger but it wasn't anything too special. I feel like it did lack some flavor and was kinda dry even with mayo on it. It was good but not the best it could be.

Emily T.

Yelp
Stopped here for a bite before hitting the road. They have a super huge parking lot that is shared with a bunch of other businesses so plenty of spots which is always nice. Inside was clean and service was great, didn't have to wait too long to get food which is always nice. I got the Billy F Gibbons burger which has mango pico, Gouda, onions, the WORKS! And this was such a delightful flavor combination! The perfect blend. 10/10 would eat here again!

Eddie C.

Yelp
Great selection of burgers! Cooked very well, the fries were really good, and beer was nice and cold! We had the kids sliders, Oaxaca burger and bodacious burger.

Neil D.

Yelp
A great dive bar feel in the center of Dallas. We went here after a long day at work. The parking lot was packed and we pretty much had to wait just to get a spot. Once inside, there's plenty of tables with a lively bar. Service is very quick and the food is unreal. Start for the nice cocktail as they have quite a few on the menu. And then have a nice juicy burgers with a beer. The burger literally broke apart as I was eating it. Not a bad thing, just be ready for a little bit more of a sloppy Joe. They recommend this for a quick bite or just to relax. Not a high-end place for a date but excellent for just friends..

Aliyah S.

Yelp
This is a great spot! I was attending a conference at the Hilton Anatole 5 minutes down the street and looking for a quick lunch. People rave about their burgers but I had their avocado caesar twice in one week! It's so good and great for avocado lovers. I always order the dressing on the side so I can control how much I want on my greens. The pumpernickel croutons and capers are such a nice touch. I added chicken to the salad once and was surprised to learn that it is in fact a chicken patty and not grilled chicken which would've been nice. The servers were happy and sweet. The first napkin I received had a mark on it so I asked and it was promptly replaced by napkins in a cup. I ate alone both times and honestly, it was fine because there was so much to look around at on the walls and such. It's also a great place to people watch lol.

Santangelo G.

Yelp
The style of the restaurant inside is very laid-back and garage type feel. Fast service! Thank you Marylyne. Hope i spelled it right. Cool paintings of goats . The burger that I got was the bodacious the server had recommended it to me so I trusted the server. It was freaking delicious 10 out of 10 I would come back here if you're in Dallas, stop by here and eat a burger please. The fries could've been cooked a little bit less, but I didn't come here for the damn fries. The Burger -. The meat was good. The grilled jalapeños were delicious. The smoked jalapeño mayo was awesome and the crispy onions really gave it that barbecue steak house Kind of taste to the whole burger. Thank You Rodeo Goat!!! PS- after I devoured the burger I sat there in silence, trying to find something wrong , something to complain about because I couldn't believe that there was nothing to complain about. Because i am very strict. There was nothing. GREAT F****ing Job Rodeo Goat. :)))))) -Santangelo Balli Gonzales

Yelp
I had the goat perfect burger. Beef patty, fried goat cheese. Fig jam, Aragula, whole grain mustard and a goat side salad. This is easily the best burger I've ever eaten in my life. The side salad is also exceptionally well executed. What a find. I'll be back tomorrow again. Great service by the bar. Loud but it's like that. A bar.

Raymond M.

Yelp
Ranch house and sweet potato fries were average. Solid customer service, my server was helpful. Ample parking. Clean restroom.

Abdisalam H.

Yelp
Fantastic burgers with a great ambiance and seating that over looks a nice creek of the Trinity River.

Andrea M.

Yelp
love the self seating, vibes were great for a slow night service and staff were quick and friendly food is always great here ! i got a kids meal since i wasnt too hungry and it was very filling

Hannah G.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food and burgers!!!! Wow wow wow 100000/10!! Service was good. Vibes were good!

Matthew J.

Yelp
The food is amazing! The service was on point. The music and atmosphere were relaxing and fun!

Tim K.

Yelp
There's a lot of places you can go all over the country to get yourself a good burger. Put rodeo goat on that list. What a huge variety of hamburgers that are made with combinations of things you wouldn't consider to put on a burger. The burger that caught my eye was the sugar burger. The burger comes with candied bacon, grilled peaches, caramelized onions, arugula jalapeño jam (which is not hot at all) and cooked medium to perfection brioche bun. It doesn't come with anything, so I added the fries on the side. They're cut thick, fried well but a little soggy for me. The parking lot is always packed sothere are in of itself says much.

Michael B.

Yelp
I forced myself to come here. And I knew I shouldn't have. I wasn't in the mood for it but everyone talked it up and the reviews were super positive so I went. I thought it was just okay. Slightly overrated. First and foremost, I sat at the bar and the staff was five stars. Cracking jokes, ripping on each other, making life fun. They seemed to enjoy each other and the job. The place was packed and so there was an energy in the atmosphere. There's also a back patio which was about half full. Not a lot of color in the place. Mostly grey. Lighting was okay. I had my dessert first because life's too short. And I have a sweet tooth. So why wouldn't I eat it first?! I had the goat balls. And it was okay. Not really sweet. The raspberry tasted like it wasn't ripe just yet. The texture of the balls were fluffy but I feel like they should have been pulled from the fryer just a tad bit sooner. Despite it being slightly burnt, it was solid. For my main I had the BILLY F GIBBONS (formally Bad Hombre) which had candied bacon, caramelized onions, gouda, mango pico, cream cheese spread, and Trailboss habanero sauce. I was between this and the sugar burger. And I was having a hard time deciding. I picked wrong. I think this burger had the case of it being a bit too much. I love weird combos but this was a flavor overload. And none of the flavors stood out and it felt like I was just eating something wet. The homemade goat chips were good. It was a large serving. I got about half way before I was feeling a little done. I think all the other sweet things I ate, made the chips a bit too much. Despite it all, I'd come back. I think there's other things on here I'd like to try before writing it off. Until then I'll give it a 2 star.

Brittany R.

Yelp
Pros: the food was very very very good! The flavor of the burger was great and the portion size vs price for the cheese fries as incredible - it was definitely enough for 3 people to share. The goat balls were the star of the meal! So good - not too sweet but perfect. I loved that I could just scan a QR code and pay on my phone. It felt like a dive bar, which is a pro in my book. Cons: I got just a bacon cheeseburger with the ranch mayo. My sandwich was $11 and it didn't come with a side...felt a bit overpriced. The service was incredibly slow. We were sat immediately but our entire dining experience took about 2 hours. The bathrooms were really gross. Parking was horrendous.

Kate B.

Yelp
Rodeo goat is definitely a DFW must try. They have a variety of burgers and appetizers! We came in write before a lunch rush which was lucky , unfortunately we did not get service until 10 minutes of sitting down . Everyone was very sweet after , and very accommodating. The vibe is super country and in a great location. I got the surprise fries and a burger - 10/10 super good and not too pricy.

Jon B.

Yelp
Got the Brad Sham burger. Super good. Great selection of beer. Friendly waitresses. My co-workers got a salad that he loved too.

Carmen H.

Yelp
Best Onion Rings! They have a light batter and seasoned taste. Wide Beer selection. They have a lot of craft beers on draft They have a bar area and outdoor patio.

Daniel T.

Yelp
I'm a big fan. One of my favorite if not the favorite burger place in Dallas. Always busy at meal times so come earlier if you can. Sports bar vibes and very casual. Let's talk burgers. So far I've tried the Sugar Burger, the Bodacious, and the Ranch Burger. I tried a bite of my friend's Mustang Sally. Portion sizes are good. Big fan of the ranch burger and liked sugar burger. The ranch burger is a little sweet but packed with flavor. Simple yet definitely does the job. Sugar burger has grilled peaches so was an interesting concept overall. I'm not a huge fan of the Bodacious burger. Basically a souped up bbq bacon cheeseburger. The Sally (pork belly infused patty) was good but too spicy for me. For sides, I'm a fan of the sweet potato fries. The regular fries are okay. A little too soft for me. Also got the cheese fries without the surprise. Was definitely very filling. More than enough for 3 guys who each got a burger. Did not particularly stand out but okay. Was about $13 for the cheese fries and $13-14 per burger. Waiting for food can take a little bit if it's packed so get an appetizer if you can. They check you out at the table with portable devices so it's fast when you're done. Definitely give it a shot!

Anitra T.

Yelp
If you're looking for a killer burger, this is it! Lucky for me, I was solo. The place was PACKED and I was able to snag the last available seat at the bar. Alisha* was my server and gave me a good lay of the land! Educated me on some of the menu options and helped me make my decisions. I chose the salad and the "sugar shack" and hot damn were they both freaking yummy. I added goat cheese to my sugar shack burger and it just really sent it over the edge. My salad was really good. My only complaint is the cut of meat they used was still pretty tough although it was cooked medium. I would definitely recommend checking out this place for a spectacular and unusual burger.

Eddie C.

Yelp
If you're in the mood for a burger joint with a lively atmosphere, Rodeo Goat is the place to be. The ambiance is fantastic, making it a great spot to unwind with friends. Their burgers, while a bit heavy-handed on the seasoning, are still a solid choice. The creativity of toppings makes it unique. The cheese fries are a must-try, perfectly crispy and cheesy. Service is decent, nothing to write home about, but it gets the job done. Overall, Rodeo Goat offers a fun dining experience that's worth a visit.

Jen B.

Yelp
Great food. Lots of choice. Always fresh ingredients & freshly cooked. Good value for the money.

Raj D.

Yelp
I've already been here twice and had a positive experience both times. This is such a chill place to grab dinner. Despite it always being crowded, I haven't ever had too much of a problem finding a table. There are so many unique burger options my friends have always liked their orders. For me, this is my favorite overall burger shop just because of how many delicious vegetarian options are available.

Daniel Alan G.

Yelp
Great food and great service. I had the Honey Bacon Blue (Nekked) in a bowl, with a side of sweet potato fries. Very good beer selection, I had their version of Hazy Double IPA.

John P.

Yelp
Service/staff always great. Been here handful of times and it never disappoints. Highly recommend

Melyna S.

Yelp
This is my second time going to Rodeo Goat. The food and drinks are delicious. We had a group of 10 so it took about 15 minutes to sit our table because they have long tables of 10 that they usually split for small groups. Unfortunately our waitress dropped my burger on me and it got ketchup all over my purse and jacket. She was nice to apologize and felt bad, it would have been nice to have seen a little comp on the bill, just as an extra apology you know?! But it didn't happen and she did get her 20% too that's auto added to large groups. In fact, she told me it was added when I was paying, but after I got the printed receipt it wasn't there...so I brought it to her attention and she got it adjusted. The food at Rodeo Goat is really good, enjoyed the cheese fries and the cookies and cream shake I took to go!

Beth M.

Yelp
I think this is the OG Rodeo and my favorite. Definitely a nondescript looking building, but casual and welcoming on the inside plus some nice patio space. Fries are not my favorite, but that's fine because the chips and queso are amazing and pair well with a burger. Servers hustle for sure, but are always around if you need something. Decent selection of beers, love that they offer quite a few local options. Don't go to Dallas and miss out on Rodeo Goat.

Lj A.

Yelp
Food 5/5 Burgers were great, sweet potato fries were on point, the pumpkin spice goat balls and cow patty were sooo delicious! The pineapple cider was so good. Service 5/5- our server was awesome and very friendly and helpful. Ambiance 5/5 Great ambiance

Russell T.

Yelp
Rodeo Goat is always a must stop when in Dallas. They offer some of the best burgers I've ever had, and trust me that I've eaten hamburgers most of my life. Also, having a dog-friendly patio is always a plus in my book!

Divine K.

Yelp
I just wanted to say Dani was great with the customer service! I brought in my friend for the first time and she was wowed by the savoring burgers! Trust and believe me when I say they have delicious burgers the people next to me were also raving on about how great their burgers were as well! One of my favorite features about Rodeo Goat is the Burger challenge which changes every month if I am not mistaken. I'm honestly losing track of all that I've gotten because I go so often but I will say that "Truffle Shuffle " was to cry for If you're ever in the mood for a good burger and wanna catch a game or hang out with some friends and play some bar games. Rodeo Goat is your go to shop!

Joanne J.

Yelp
Great burgers and a great Cobb. We got the cheesy fries, should have taken a picture, they were great. The Cobb salad comes with steak, mine was good but a little chewy and I wish it was charred just a little more. The pickles are so good, I got a side of them, I'll probably gain 12 pounds of water weight by tomorrow because of the delicious, satisfying sodium. Happy Hour was till 6, we got margaritas! They were so good and no not overly sugary. One of the best margaritas I've had in a while.

Jeremiah B.

Yelp
Baaaaaaang this is the dagger. Everything here is the GOAT I love this spot great service great food great environment I came here twice in one day it literally is the best burger spot Definitely recommend to generations and generations.

Bill U.

Yelp
What a great experience we had last night. Beautiful weather, great friends and delicious food and atmosphere. I went with the Mothers Blues burger cooked perfectly. So juicy and the condiments were perfectly spread out and even though out the whole burger. I also ordered the onion rings which I normally don't and they were airy and crispy delicious. They have a location that opened just north of us that the wife and I will definitely try. The outdoor space is fantastic on a beautiful night.

Kelly V.

Yelp
We just landed in town and needed to eat. The rave reviews on Yelp took us here and it did not disappoint. To be fair, I don't eat meat and didn't have high expectations for a place so heavy on meat. My Impossible burger with goat cheese and butter lettuce was so, so good. They were kind enough to make our "cheese fries surprise" with the "surprise" on the side so I could enjoy the cheese fries. I had a spicy margarita that was surprisingly good. The prison-style cinder blocks give this place a really industrial feel. Our server was attentive and on the ball. My husband loved his burger and he's got pretty high burger standards. Definitely a solid choice for a meal even if you don't eat meat.
