Rodeo Goat – Addison 🐐🔥 The food? Absolute chaos in the best way. We went head-to-head with their Battle of the Burgers: Big Tex (beef patty + chicken-fried mashed potatoes, chorizo gravy, onion ring, bacon 🤯) vs. The Sundance Kid (honey-chipotle bacon, fried mozzarella, strawberry chutney, frisée 👌). Hubs swore Tex was king of the rodeo, but I couldn’t crown just one—both slapped in their own way. Fries? Hot, crispy, potato-perfection 🙌🥔✨. Now the downside: our party of 10 got sat quick (rare win!), then sat 35 minutes with no drinks, no waitress, nothing. Birthday convo kept us distracted until hangry words had to be tossed. When the manager finally appeared, he shoved a waitress into the fire instead of owning the drop. She was phenomenal—automatic gratuity covered her, but if management had stepped up and shown some accountability, I’d have gladly tipped extra. So here’s the deal: burgers = worth every bite, fries = therapy, vibes = wild fun. But management? Do better. Don’t make your servers take the heat for your slip.

Burgers are everywhere, every place can do a burger but... The difference is in the attention to detail. Little things like: super crunchy, crispy onions. Juicy, well seasoned burger pattie Griller jalapeño peppers Crispy bacon Not to mention the fries which are seasoned, fluffy inside and crispy on the outside. I had a bodacious burger, fries, tried the brisket beef chilli and a salted caramel pretzel shake. These guys are serious, they don't mess around when it comes to burger options, quality of food and a relaxed atmosphere that doesn't take itself too seriously (Goats everywhere) Will be coming back next time I'm in Dallas, 100% worthy of the 5 stars.

Went to Rodeo Goat on Tuesday night and had a great time! The atmosphere was casual and lively, and the staff were super friendly. The burgers were creative and delicious — definitely lived up to the hype. I especially enjoyed the fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations. Will definitely come back again!

We had Austin as our server, and he did an excellent job waiting our table. He was very attentive and friendly. As for the burgers, we had mixed reviews. Two three stars, a four star and a five star. I was one of the three stars, mostly because the burger fell apart. This is a basic requirement, that the burger stays together. While the brioche bun was flavorful, it just wasn’t strong enough to hold the burger together. Some places toast their buns, and this helps give the bun some internal integrity. Toasting may have helped here. My kids enjoyed the queso and chips and said that the hand cut fries very were good. They were still talking about how delicious the queso was the next day. But Burger-Amageddon did it for me. My kids might like to come back, but I won’t be with them.

This was my first time visiting, and I will definitely be back! I had the Nanny Goat burger, and it was amazing! My daughter had the Joe Chow and she loved it. The sweet potato fries and ranch dressing were also so so delicious.

Google
The food was so good! The burger is NEXT LEVEL! The atmosphere is great! Isaiah went above and beyond to make sure I got the right burger and he did recommend a very tasty burger! I highly recommend it! Than you so much everyone 🙏🇺🇸🐄

Google
A date brought me here for an early dinner on a Saturday. We were able to get a booth immediately. I liked the ambiance and our server was phenomenal. The menu is impressive with all types of topping combinations for the burgers. Made it a little difficult to choose because they all sounded great. I had the Sugar Burger. I wasn't wasn't asked how I wanted it prepared nor was I impressed with the burger meat (kinda just crumbled with each bite). The toppings were good, but I wasn't wowed and wouldn't order this (or the sweet potato fries) again.

Google
The people were nice. The atmosphere was great. They had a variety of beers which was awesome. However, the food is overpriced. I got the Nashville hot Chicken Sandwich for $13. And it was totally dry.None of the sandwiches comes with chips or fries. But we still had a good time if I go back. I will only drink and get an appetizer. The jalapeno tater tots were really good.

Yelp
Oh my gosh!! I've been wanting to go and today 2 of my grands took me there for my Birthday lunch! It was fantastic!! They sat us immediately, the young lady who did that turned out to also be our waitress and she was excellent! I wish I'd gotten her name !! My bad. She was busy and on top of her game! The food is delicious. We started with fries with cheese fries surprise, fries with brisket chili buried under fries with cheese & bacon, Yum, we each had a different kind of burger, mine was a Hatch chili burger, so so good, not too hot, just perfect. Gage had the Ossmossis and looked awesome!! An egg on top w/hollandais and a tater tot cake to top it too! Haley had the Ranch House with bacon/onion marmalade! & white cheddar. For dessert they have Goat Balls, like a churro only round, one is filled with Bree and has raspberry sauce, the other is filled with Hersey chocolate and rolled in graham cracker crumbs! With marshmallow sauce. Also they have shakes and Texas chocolate sheet cake. And a great drink menu w/specials. Sorry this is so long, but there was so much to tell you! Give them a shot! You'll be glad you did!! Good luck!!

Yelp
The Battle of Burgers is going on now (June 26-July 30). You vote by ordering your choice between the Empire and the Radio burger. If you order the Radio Burger, $1 will go to KERA, a national public radio (NPR) station located in DFW. I had been hearing advertisements on air about this, so I decided to try this place on a Sunday, at the end of the 4th of July holiday weekend. You can order online through a service like DoorDash, or directly through their website. I did the latter and picked my order up to go. On my second visit here, I dined in. For both, I ordered the Radio Burger so that a donation would go to my favorite radio station, KERA. The burger was adequate in size, piled high with toppings including something crunchy like maybe crispy fried onions. It was quite tasty. The bun held up. My milkshake was thick, but was quickly drinkable through a straw due to it being July in Texas. Service on site was a mixed bag. They were overwhelmed on the special KERA burger promotion day in Addison. We had a newer staff member who did the best she could despite the crowds. The bartender stepped in a few times and knew how to get food and people processed in record time. We were invited to seat ourselves. We chose a high pub table along the window. While you wait for your order, you can order a drink from their fully stocked bar, watch the game on tv, or play the bar game on site. I was happy to come here to support my radio station. The food was good too, but I'm not sure I would return. There just wasn't anything on the menu that stood out that had me pining to return. Seems like a great place to hangout for a happy hour after work.

Yelp
Bad service. Fantastic and creative burgers. Iced tea refills are a long wait and only after snagging different servers while 'your' server stands at the bar and chats with the bartender and other servers. I noticed a large table asking for drink refills too. The 2 top near me had to get up and search for their server to get their check. The manager walked around and avoided eye contact with tables, even though 3 of us were trying to talk with him. My food was awesome. One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Place was only half full at 1:30pm. Lots of servers standing around talking and basically doing nothing. Very puzzling.

Yelp
We finally made it to a Rodeo Goat and the service and food was amazing! Next time I want to try a salad hamburger or bunless. Will definitely go back and I definitely recommend. They really attended to us well, we can't complain.

Yelp
I was in the area making cold calls - sales people term - and was need of some comida. As usual, did a quick Yelp search and this interesting name place popped up. So off I go. Good menu. Lots of burger choices. Creative names and add ons made the choice hard. I chose the Billy F Gibbons - it has cream cheese - never had that on a burger before. Took longer than I thought to get my meal but was worth it. Oh, it has Gouda cheese as too. Love me some Gouda. Great burger. Had some habanero sauce on the side. Too hot for me and thankful I got it on the side. Fries were good. I would say it was a bit pricey, fries, burger and tea was $22.00. But, costs are going up. And prices are a relative thing. All in all, a good meal, no complaints. Will definitely check them out again and try one of their other concoctions. Tip - split fries, it's a lot.

Yelp
Rodeo goat will always be one of my favorite burger places. It is consistent in every location and the service is quick and friendly. My go to is the sugar burger. I love getting it with a side of the goat chips and ranch. The burger is medium well every time and I always add tobasco and ranch to the burger with the peaches it gives a perfect flavor combo. The fries are delicious as well! I've had the Brad sham and their fun burgers that they change out every month but I always end up coming back to the sugar burger. It's a friendly vibe and there's always a table available. The games they have are fun to!!

Yelp
Service was ok. I've been to Rodeo Goat numerous times since 2020, several different locations. It seems like the food quality isn't what it used to be. Stopped here on a Sunday around 1 pm. There were a few tables seated, but not busy. I was the only person sitting at the bar. Ordered the Murder Burger and fries. Both came out only slightly warm. Both were cold within a few minutes. Fries were bland... had to douse with salt & pepper. The burger was bland & very DRY. Not sure what the "whodunit" sauce was supposed to be, but I had to ask for a side of mustard to give this burger some flavor. I ate half of the burger & maybe 1/3 of the fries. I took the other half of the burger home, but it'll probably go on the trash.

Yelp
Great burger! Tasty milkshake! Worth stopping with reasonable prices. Feel like this is a bar/burger joint where locals come. Was a nice change of pace. They got burger battles every month to come up with staff creations so I'll be back whenever I'm in Dallas :) Like the merch too

Yelp
Rodeo Goat has always been one of my favorite burger places in DFW. Its a laid back spot to grab a bite and some drinks. Offering a full bar full of craft beer and whatever else you like to drink and a menu of the most creative burgers you've seen. I've had almost every one, and the ones I keep going back to are (and note, some are named differently across locations) the Hatch me if you can, Joe Chow, Sugar Burger and the Billy F gibbons. The meat is always juicy, and freshly patted then cooked how you'd like it. The toppings on the burgers they include shine as well, as none of them taste "store bought" such as the jams they include on some of them. This visit I ordered the Peach Burger. I tried the Ground turkey for the first time, and while not quite a beef patty i have to say it was great. It went perfectly with the grilled peaches and caramelized onions were my favorite part of the burger.
google avatar

Temika M.

Yelp
Let me start by saying the burger was cooked to perfection! The mushrooms not so much! The could have been grilled just a tad bit more! I had the "MisOooMami". It's a Swiss stuffed umami patty with Maitake mushrooms. Usually Maitake are packed with flavor, but these had none. My stomach was tore up the remainder of the day. Not sure what caused it, but the burger and fries were all I had. The server was very attentive and service was VERY Fast! It's Always clean and bright inside so it's always full of life. This was my 1st time at this location

Yelp
This rodeo goat is so amazing! It is easy to get to and has plenty of parking for anyone who wants to come and eat here. The food is delicious and they're always willing to go the extra mile for anything you may need or any allergies that you have. The service was very helpful and friendly. The people were accommodating and very good at serving quickly. It's an overall chill vibe with some music. Loved this location and we will be back!

Yelp
Not our first time to Rodeo Goat but our first time to the new Addison location. They had a high bar set with our favorite Fort Worth location. My son and I finally stopped in on a weeknight for dinner. The decor inside is pretty typical RG style but plenty of tables and even heard them say a party of 75 was coming later. The bar is right in the middle with sports on the tv's. Our waitress was awesome! Grabbed our drink order and right back to get our dinner ordered. We opted to split a 1/2 order of the amazing chili/cheese fries. Our food was out within 15 minutes and as always looked amazing! Those cheese fries are some of the best in the entire metroplex. No kidding. The cheese is melted perfectly and covers all of the fries not just some of them. Plenty of bacon bits and chili covering everything else. My Chaca Oaxaca is always my go to burger here. The patty is half beef and half chorizo then a fried egg on top. So freakin good! Since my son lives around the corner I'll be frequenting here often!

Yelp
I am so excited that they opened a Rodeo Goat in Addison - so close to a lot of offices! I went here for dinner today and got the Royale with Cheese and a side of sweet potato fries. My friend ordered the goat balls and they were pretty good. Our waitress was nice and she checked in on us often. I think a manager also came by and gave us some koozies which was cool. The restaurant was a bit empty on this Thursday night but I still enjoyed dining there. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area!
google avatar

Sherelle L.

Yelp
I love Rodeo Goat! This location is so cute, and different esthetics than the others I have visited! Service was fast, friendly, and welcoming! We came in later in the night and they served us gladly! Even when they were closing they didn't kick us out, but started their closing process and let us finish our cocktails which was really nice! My burger was amazing as always and my loaded fries! We got cocktails for the first time ever at a Rodeo Goat and it did not disappoint!
google avatar

Yelp
Stayed at the hotel down the road and was looking for a place I could just walk to. My expectations were not high...but holy hell! I had the Mother Blues burger (substituted garlic herb mayo for the smoked jalapeño mayo) and I was blown away. Let me tell you, I visit Hop Dotty a lot and this was one of the top one or two burgers I have ever had in my life (and I'm over 50 ). The seasoning was perfect. The balance of flavors was spot on. I just wish I took a picture of it but it went down too quick. When I come back to Addison I'm making a stop here. No doubt.
google avatar

Edgar G.

Yelp
These burgers hit different. Service is great, very friendly staff and great atmosphere Different vibe than the one on market place in Dallas
google avatar

Michael F.

Yelp
I can't believe this concept has so many locations! This is the type of place I want to eat at all the time. Amazing burgers, great local beers, and very friendly staff. We showed up with OVER 20 people, they didn't blink an eye. They opened up the back room, served us all and even helped up get a few separate checks.
google avatar

Amy Y.

Yelp
I was sooo excited to see Rodeo Goat opened a location in Addison! This location had some cool decor & plenty of parking. The service was diligent as usual. I got the mushroom battle burger & it was so good! Always reliable.
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
Everything. AMAZING. Full of flavors and every last bite is oh so tasty. I love getting one of the "battle of the burgers" burgers! The chaca Oaxaca- OG goodness. The bacon blue cheese burger- so dang good! Their house salad.... Danggggggg, so stinkin' good!
google avatar

Charity C.

Yelp
First time coming here since they opened recently and it did not disappoint! We received amazing service. We had a really large party and only one server, but he was great! I enjoyed the chips and queso and the bad hombre or Billy F Gibbons burger. I'll def be back!
google avatar

Timothy N.

Yelp
Met up with a work friend from several years ago for lunch around Noon. The bar keep was going to be our wait staff; she was very prompt, courteous, and friendly. Our food arrived and was eaten with delight. I ordered a Brad Sham, a chocolate shake, and onion rings, and my guest had the Neil Young. From what I could tell there were a number of options to type of seating, Not sure that there was an option on the burger, but it was well done.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Burgers were fantastic. Juicy and flavorful. Service was good and atmosphere was amazing.
google avatar

Gonzalo H.

Yelp
Great burgers, fries and chips. Everything was very tasty. The staff is very friendly and attentive. This new location is as great as the other ones!
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
This was our second time eating there. I forgot to take pictures last night. Today we had the El Dorado burger, house made chips and onion rings. There was a competition with the El Dorado burger and another burger. We loved the El Dorado burger. The onion rings are not on the menu, but they do have them. Highly recommend the onion rings. You will not be disappointed if you eat at rodeo goat!

Eloise-Emmanuella T.

Yelp
Service: 5/5 ; Our server Dylan was super attentive, patient, and understanding of the various requests of our table! He checked in regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. The rest of the staff were also very friendly. They seem to run a very smooth ship and kitchen. Great synergy! Food: 5/5 I ordered the Neil Young (sans green goddess dressing) and was not disappointed! This was THE BEST house made vegan patty I've ever had. It was so well seasoned and had a great texture and bite. Even the non-vegans at my table who tried my burger agreed! 4 people at my table got the bodacious and were very pleased! It's also very easy to modify burgers to your liking. Lastly BEST SWEET POTATO FRIES IVE EVER HAD! Honestly, I'm normally not a sweet potato fry girly, but these were DELICIOUS. I would go back just for a hot basket of these fries. Ambience: there is an interesting industrial/ goat theme going on. Many of the pieces made for good conversation!
google avatar

Ann C.

Yelp
The food is great! The Goat balls for dessert was unique. The service is great, quick and friendly. The ambiance was fantastic with lots of goats pics
google avatar

Rachel J.

Yelp
I visited Rodeo Goat for dinner and I was unfortunately underwhelmed with my meal. I tried The Firebird which is a Nashville hot chicken sandwich but it truly just tasted like a mildly spicy crispy chicken sandwich. The seasoning was inconsistent on the patty and not saucy. It had good flavor but not what I expected when ordering a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Next time I visit, I would try a burger since the rest of the menu did look promising. I also tried the sweet potato fries which I loved and highly recommend! Our server was very friendly and checked on us multiple times.

Yelp
My first time at the Goat. Walked in and sat at the bar to watch the Texas OU game. It's a nice place, clean, bright and a good staff. I ordered the Bodacious Burger. Very good, huge burger, lots of flavor. The staff was very attentive even though I was just drinking iced tea. It's a great place to watch a game or eat with the family. I'll definitely be back !!!

Cedrik G.

Yelp
I ordered to go and I was told there was a 20 minute wait which I was fine with. The 20 min wait turned into a 30 min wait which was still fine until I found out my food was ready a while ago. My food was just sitting in the back somewhere and by the time I got it, the food was cold and my fries were stale. I came at around 3pm on a Friday and it wasn't very busy. The servers and managers were having a long casual conversation next to me neglecting their jobs.

Kenneth P.

Yelp
We came on a Saturday at 7:10pm and got seated right away since they weren't busy at all. We sat for 17 minutes and no one came to introduce themselves, offer water, or even bring the high chair we asked the host for. We just got up to leave. There were only about 4/5 other tables with people sitting at them.
google avatar

William M.

Yelp
Nice place to go too has this country/farm kind of vibe. Also enjoyed looking at all the photos they had up. Burgers are amazing, juicy and packed with flavor. Also chips and queso with meat was amazing just as good as the burgers. Service was great and very attentive staff and manager came by to make sure everything was good.

Pamela B.

Yelp
I'm not a fan! Burgers used to be good but much smaller patty now and doesn't taste as good as it used to.
google avatar

Marcus N.

Yelp
I had a fantastic experience at this place! The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding; I couldn't resist going back for more. As someone new to Dallas, I found this spot through Yelp, and it turned out to be a great choice during my stay.

Christy P.

Yelp
CHESSE FRIES!!! The best in my opinion. Bridget our waitress was so amazing she got my picky eater teenager to try something new. Props to her. Overall wonderful experience and will be coming back soon.
google avatar

Colleen S.

Yelp
First time at Rodeo Goat in Addison. Love their outdoor seating options. Service is prompt and casual which we love. Food is amazing, portion size is more than you could ask for. Priscilla was our server, very attentive, great with joiners. Will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious burgers and fries! Ordered through DoorDash but looking forward to dining there soon.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing!!! The staff was super kind and this has to be the best burger in Dallas. Has great happy hour deals and an incredible patio!

Sandy C.

Yelp
We had seen the rodeo goats all over town and there's one down the street from the business I own so I thought it would be a good time to check them out. Angel was our server and he was an angel! He was a fantastic server, very attentive, knowledgeable, and enjoyable great experience with him. We went there mid afternoon and no one was in there. It was happy hour... choice of beers on happy hour were only craft beers which we don't like no Miller light on tap and no deals on Miller light so tried a craft beer and it was OK but would not order again. Angel let us do a taste test on a couple of them and we selected one of those because they were on happy hour. We found the menu very limited unfortunately. The burgers were all very weird and I'm willing to try something new, but they were too strange for me. My friend picked the burger challenge, which had the fried cheese and fruit on it. She said it was OK but definitely would never order again. I picked the bodacious burger as I love hot stuff, but I found it terrible. Both of our burgers were overcooked and very dry. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and they were OK. We ordered tater tots with one of the burgers I did not like them nor did she. We both didn't finish our burgers and I started feeling immediately sick. We feel like the appetizers and the menu are way too limited. It's either tater tots fries or onion rings or that's it. We did not like the food, but I want a compliment Angel as he was fantastic. Unfortunately, we will not be back. It was a bad experience.
google avatar

Lara L.

Yelp
The service here was perfect. My mom and I dropped in on our way to an appointment. When we realized we were going to be running short on time the wait staff was super accommodating in getting our food switched from sit down to to-go. The burger were massive. The atmosphere was lovely we just didn't have time to stay and eat there!

Elizabeth W.

Yelp
I've eaten at this location multiple times and never ever had an issue. Today was different. Late lunch at 2:30, just a few tables were occupied. Took forever to get our food. Sliders were overdone and barely warm, fries soggy and just warm. I expected both to be piping hot especially with the length of time it took to get our food. Chili was good . Upcharge of $3.00 for kids menu if your over 12? What about if you're a senior and just don't want so much to eat in a full size burger? Maybe rethink that...

Michael G.

Yelp
we went to Rodeo Goat to get a hamburger, I can't tell you about the food because the waitress was to busy talking to the other waitress. Another waiter had to wait on us and 15 minutes later we still didn't get our food so we left. I told the person wearing the white shirt that we had bad service from the waitress and it took to long to make a hamburger and fries.

YaGrl S.

Yelp
This place is awesome! The workers were cool, the food was delicious! I recommend bodacious burger. Thank you Lucas and Jesse for an amazing time. Will be back for sure!

Cinda A.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Service was fantastic. The avocado Caesar was different than the traditional Caesar salad, with avocados and green olives. The dressing was in the pit of the avocado. It was fresh and crisp. The burgers were cooked perfectly. Be sure to read the full ingredients when ordering. These burgers have little surprises you may not want or expect, but delicious nonetheless. Sweet potato fries were good but a little on the soft side. We really enjoyed the dessert. It's hard to go wrong with chocolate sheet cake and ice cream though! The only thing that would have made it better was if the cake was slightly warmed. Overall a great experience and great food.

Royal C.

Yelp
Not going back. The service was a bog mess. Brought the incorrect hamburger, asked for mayonnaise and brought Ranch, waiter brought a bill from a different table, corrected the bill but still had incorrect and higher prices. My wife told the waiter that the hamburger was really good but that the fries were bad and the waiter said "Yea, that is why I order the sweet potato fries" All this for a part of two and the restaurant at less than 25% capacity. What a mess!

Bill B.

Yelp
Never going back. Went in for quick lunch had a beer and some chips and queso. Slow day in there but bar tender disappeared when I was going to pay finally came back bill was $16.57. Gave her a $20.00 bill note not a charge card she gave me back $3.00 guess this is one of those places who don't like to give change and round up. Well I'm not into that especially since I saved them money by paying in cash. Quit being so cheap give the customer especially one paying in cash their correct change. It's not the money it's the principle if your going to do that with cash tell your customers.

Coco S.

Yelp
Awesome. My boyfriend and I were recommended this place for dinner. Burgers blew us away. You know it's good when you both stop talking!
google avatar

Julie A.

Yelp
Great location. Brand new as of Oct 2024. Service was friendly and attentive. Burgers are fresh and tasty. Fries are good. The "goat chips" are thin cut potato chips with a special seasoning. Try the frozen rattlesnake drink ... it's yummy!

Yelp
Tyler was a dick! Dillon was awesome ;) burger was good this Addison location is great the hook ring made me mad but I digress whatever sue me!
