We had one hamburger and a ground chicken burger. Both were excellent! We also had regular and sweet potato fries. Again, both were really good. They also have an outdoor seating area. I’ll definitely come here again when we’re back in town.

The food was delicious. The fries are amazing. The cheese fries are totally worth it. The Firebird was scrumptious and the vegan patty was equally tasty. We went there for an evening dinner on a weekend and we’re able to find the table easily.

Google
Just had an absolutely fantastic burger at Rodeo Goat Cypress Waters! The patty was perfectly cooked – juicy and flavorful – and the toppings were fresh and well-balanced. Every bite was a delight. It's safe to say this spot knows how to make a seriously good burger. Highly recommend!

Google
One of the best burgers anywhere. Good sides, good menu. I think the bun is a bit dry and the burger is not. So luckily it’s balances out if you let it. Just smash it down and let it soak up the goodness. Really creative combination of flavors.

Rodeo goat Cypress waters was a great place to enjoy some freshly made burgers. We were seated indoors on a hot summer day and were comfortable. The server did a great job of sharing recommended specials and allowed us sufficient time to review the menu and place an order. We appreciated having the alone time to enjoy our meal and had our waters refilled when needed. The outdoor setup was in a patio overseeing the lake with gorgeous views to enjoy in a cooler day. Overall excellent and will be returning to enjoy the other items on the menu.

Google
This restaurant’s location in Cypress Waters, right by The Sound, is a standout, offering lakefront patio seating and cozy indoor options. They boast an impressive lineup of cocktails, beers, and spirits, with the Moontang as their signature drink. Cheese fries and sliders make for tasty appetizers, and the menu has something for everyone, from salads to burgers. The Hatch Me If You Can burger, packed with hatch green chilis, was a highlight. Service is top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring drinks and food arrive promptly while regularly checking on tables. Parking can be challenging on busy nights, but ample street parking is available if you don’t mind a short walk. All in all, it’s a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy an evening with friends.

Google
Went here today with my sister. we walked in & noticed it was a self seating situation…there were at least 5 employees right at the door way..NOBODY spoke or was welcoming to us. until a nice young lady BEHIND the bar told us to sit wherever we liked. she was nice. but um, when you see customers at least acknowledge them instead of being on your phone. so rude & unprofessional! our waiter was nice & attentive so that’s why we stayed. burger was just all right. sweet potatoe fries were goood. won’t come back because of the employees tho.

Google
Well came for a walk around the water but it was closed so me and the lady got some lunch instead. First time here did not disappoint. Food was good and on point. Got the Dad bod burger and my lady got one of the amazing salads. The only unfortunate problem was the birds outside. Staff doesn't clean up fast enough and the birds are all over the leftover food. Overall food, amazing, staff was nice and it looks like it could be a great place to be at night. Will be back as the birds are not their fault. Thank you

Yelp
Great service Isabelle was our server and she took great care of us. She was friendly and attentive Food was tasty. Good burgers

Yelp
I've had Rodeo Goat on my list of 'must try' burger spots for quite some time and finally had the chance to try it out, and it did not disappoint! We were able to get a table outdoors and was able to enjoy our dinner by the water. We ordered the Chaca Oaxaca and the Hola Senorita, both of which were delicious, but we had a hard time deciding since all of the burgers have a unique twist and sounded amazing. The Chaca Oaxaca comes with a beef and chorizo patty and is topped with an avocado spread, queso fresco, pico de gallo, tabasco mayo, and a fried egg. Loved all of the Mexican flavors of this burger and anything with a fried egg is always a great choice. Highly recommend this one! The Hola Senorita was also delicious and came with candied jalapenos, smoked ham, pepper jack cheese, jalapeno bacon, pico de gallo, and topped with a poblano dressing! Another great option if you like a bit of a kick! For dessert, we ordered the cow patty, which is basically a sheet cake made with pecans and topped with ice cream! Such a tasty way to cleanse your palate after devouring the delicious burgers. Overall, solid spot for burgers and will definitely be returning here again!

Yelp
Merry Christmas, y'all. Keeping it simple. North Irving, Las Colinas. Beautiful new new upscale area. Nice little lake facing the patio. Have you ever described a burger as too juicy? Me either, until now. Sumptuous. Very juicy burger. Fresh veggies. It's just an all-around dream burger. Hand cut fries are done the way you see in pictures. Thick, crispy, yummy. The service was excellent. Laid back, not too pushy, but made sure my meal went beyond my expectations. About a 45-minute drive from my house. Two are much closer, but I needed a drive tonight. Watched some football highlights as well. Feels good giving up a 5 star rating to this spot.

Yelp
Great outdoor space. Hamburgers with creative toppings. Friendly service. Wide beer selection. Dozens on tap lots of local. Go get some rodeo goat.

Yelp
Great place with great burgers in a great location. Can't beat that. Atmosphere - 5/5 - We sat outside as the weather actually allowed it, and it was great. You can see the lake, and Cypress Waters overall is a great place to hang out (many other places to eat). Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and attentive. Made sure we were taken care of throughout. Food - 5/5 - Ordered the following: Chaco Oaxaca - 4/5 - The patty itself is GREAT. The toppings for this wasn't bad, but there are other options that I think I would go with next time. I saw the word fried egg and got too excited. Hola, Senorita - 5/5 - Highly recommend for spicy lovers. This was a great burger. Cow Patty - 5/5 - Large sundae with a lot of toppings. Had to get this for the kiddo. Overall, we enjoyed burgers, beers, and a big ole sundae. Will definitely be coming back again.

Yelp
I loveeee rodeo goat! This time, I tried the new menu, Hatch Me If You Can and my usual Ranch House. Hatch Me If You Can was definitely different from the usual kind I've had and I liked it! And I can never skip out on the Hand Punched Fries!! So delicious! I especially this location because it has a really relaxing and beautiful view from the patio seating which I was sit outside! The service I'd say isn't the greatest but at times, I understand because its so busy here. They also provide you with dog bowl of water if asked!

Yelp
Loved this location, it's located in a cute food/plaza area with nice apartments nearby. Just having a patio with water nearby always elevates the experience. Although we chose to eat at the bar, we did take a moment to enjoy the patio before we left! First of all, I love the concept of the burger vs. burger, and that's what we used to decide for us. I ordered the hatch me if you can burger. Very well cooked seasoned meat, the topings were good and flavorful. The only downside was the tortilla chips. They got soggy and didn't do anything for the burger. On the other hand, the Carolina bastard came with a gut punch on that heat. The Carolina Reaper is no joke! Thankfully, the pineapple lessened the heat, but it did no favors for me in the long run. The fries are good, an extra charge if wanted, personally I'm not a fan of that but it happens. My appetizer: The cowboys caviar was phenomenal, and the chips are not greasy! Just know I ate the cowboy caviar as is. That's how good it was for me. Their craft beer selection is awesome. You'll definitely find your drink at this bar.

Yelp
Pretty good as always. Burgers are great and the atmosphere was great. Service can be a little slow.Lots of options and the simpler burger seems to be the best.

Ali H.

Yelp
The service was horrible the waiter was rude when I asked if he can clear out a table for me and my friends and he brushed it off and said you're just going to have to wait until someone does it and they took so long they took so long to get someone to do so. Secondly the food took so long to come out and when it did it was cold. The atmosphere was nice the view was great but the service was piss poor.
google avatar

J Scott G.

Yelp
This place never disappoints. It's bougie or foodie. So if you just want a regular cheeseburger it may not be for you. Good craft draft selection, crazy creative burgers, and some decent sides. We used to go to the original in Fort Worth but now we go to the one on the lake at cypress waters which is only a few minutes from DFW.

Yelp
Went here with my buddies yesterday and it was phenomenal. The burgers were so perfect, soft warm buns, plenty cheese and sauce. They were amazing. The staff was welcoming and kind. I was gonna get a picture of the food but it was gone too quick. Love this place
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, good price-point, and super tasty food. Rodeo Goat is partially on the water which is nice, even if your not huge on burgers it's definitely worth the stop! The 'goat chips' are an absolute necessity, sweet/salty/a little spicy and a great accompaniment to the burgers. Whiskey+coffee = delicious!! Definitely need to be back soon

Yelp
Second visit to this location and they are hopping! Great ambience, good service despite being busy. Great selection of beers and they are top quality with their burgers.
google avatar

Carrie A.

Yelp
This is one of my favorites because it is the best veggie burger in town! My husband is not a vegetarian and very few places have great veggie burgers as well as "normal" burgers. These burgers are anything but normal. The servers are absolutely amazing and we have never had bad service. In fact we drive up all the way from Waxahachie to eat here.
google avatar

Yelp
Situated in Coppell, TX, this modern burger joint was spot-on Excellent burgers (We had the Royale with Cheese). Delish! Also shared the Loaded Fries. Comes with lots of cheese and brisket Great selection of beers to choose from too. Service was great!
google avatar

Sandra H.

Yelp
If you're looking for a good burger or a unique burger in Coppell, this is the place to go. They use fresh meat and have many varieties (beef, bison, chorizo, etc). In addition to a fixed menu, with a lot of creative choices as well as the traditional, they have "dueling burger special" that compete for the most orders. The atmosphere is cool and the views but the water are refreshing. Service has always been great. My favorite though is the dessert. They had a special that was equivalent to a beignet and a churro having a baby. The tastiest fried dough balls wrapped in cinnamon and sugar. I even think they were called goat balls...don't leave without them!!!

Yelp
Came here for a late dinner Saturday and the restaurant was still pretty busy. We sat at the only open table outside on the patio with our dogs. The waiter brought out menus, water for us, and water for both dogs right away and then asked if we needed more time or if we were ready to order. We ended up ordering black bean burgers and sweet potato fries. Both were awesome and we will definitely be coming back soon. Having the dog friendly patio is great since we have both dogs with us quite often at the lake.
google avatar

Nilsa A.

Yelp
Great service, outside seating on the lake. Amazing tasting burgers. Pumpkin spice goat balls very yummy.
google avatar

Vania B.

Yelp
I've been to Rodeo Goat many times and have always loved the Oaxaca burger and cheese fries! Portion sizes are huge so I can never finish, but I won't complain about having good leftovers! This time I ordered the Lucy burger and queso to-go and it still tasted great by the time it delivered! Lucy burger is unique with the blackberry compote, bacon, and mustard combination; I felt they all blended well together but it was harder to taste the blackberry compote.
google avatar

Russell W.

Yelp
Fantastic burgers, along with awesome service and a cool spot. Pricing is perfect. Truly wonderful burgers and fries.
google avatar

Rob T.

Yelp
Dropped in at lunchtime on a weekday with a party of seven and still managed to find a table! Although they were a little overwhelmed and service was a little slow, our server maintained her good spirits and gave us pretty decent service. We ordered the Cheese Fries Surprise, regular fries, chips and queso, and a variety of burgers. Everything was pretty tasty, although some of the burgers with more sauce toppings got kinda soggy and hard to eat. The place had a nice rustic, casual vibe. It's near my new office location, so I'm sure I'll be back.... :-)
google avatar

Yelp
I usually get hot bastard but tried the hola senorita this time expecting it to be spicy. It wasn't and I was disappointed. Still a good burger just not spicy! It didnt even have a kick. Service was great! Location was great! The area is nice for walks
google avatar

Jane Z.

Yelp
Generous portions, quality burgers with fun names and fixins, and loaded cheese fries either with or without surprise are indulgently delicious (but eat them fresh and on site -- not great to take home). Servers are fun and laid back, yet attentive. Low key place, sit where you can.
google avatar

Jack L.

Yelp
hot bastard. bodacious. nanny goat. grilled cheese. chips & queso. very pet friendly, amazing patio space. good stuff!!!
google avatar

Teresa M.

Yelp
Food, atmosphere and staff were amazing! Restaurant sits on the water, peaceful and quiet patio. Rip Wheeler Burger: black pepper bacon was a bit over powering and Gouda cheese wasn't melted but overall, the burger was juicy and delicious! Bodacious Burger: ever taste bud was hit with this one. Highly recommend! Juicy, texture and spice on point.
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
This was delicious! The bodega burger had crunchiness, cheese, and sauce and they were all super complimentary of each other and a good combination of bbq sweetness with savory and the spicy-ness was not overwhelming. The potato bun was not greasy at all which was perfect. It was a little bit messy, so if you're trying to stay clean or impress someone, maybe get a different burger great amount of brisket, I know sometimes people tend to be stingy, but not here! the fries had a good amount of crunch but still soft in the inside. There was a looooooot of salt and pepper on them, but I was able to scrape it off. The drink was delicious, not strong at all though

Yelp
This is a must try for everyone. They have about 8 locations, so please make time to visit the one nearest you. From the get go, our waiter, Jeremy made this visit memorable with his hospitality and inviting personality. You can really tell when a person genuinely enjoys what they do, and if you do come to this location I would request him. He was patient and highly informative, helping us newcomers make decisions and not feel rushed. Our food came out in a decent amount of time, which surprised me considering the reviews left on this place before. I was expecting a longer wait, but it was a normal wait time. The food was amazing. Everyone loves their burgers. You can tell the patties are fresh and made from quality beef. Perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Medium rare is what I prefer and it did not disappoint. Every burger is good, so you can't go wrong. What really took me by surprise was the chili for the fries. It was amazing!!! The cheese fries with surprise, but put the chili on the side. It comes with ranch cups as well. Lastly, you have to try the goat balls. We had the pumpkin ones tonight. It comes with a pumpkin cream sauce that compliments it well. The decor is pretty cool as well. They have pictures of goats along the walls in different portraits. The layout accommodates many types of groups and occasions. Looking forward to one last visit before I leave the states.

Yelp
I really love Rodeo Goat from the casual atmosphere to the amazing burgers. They are definitely the best around and so many combinations to choose from or create your own. Love the fries too- hand-cut and generous portions. 3 of us usually split one order. Queso and chips is another must-do for when we dine in.
google avatar

Lindsay B.

Yelp
Love the Neil Young, their sweet potato fries are also excellent! Friendly and attentive service and patio overlooking the lake is very nice.
google avatar

Fatima C.

Yelp
Great experience at this location! Cute casual spot with great burgers! Keith our server was amazing, funny and very helpful! I wasn't expecting much from the burgers but when I tell you I was heavenly mistaken at first bite I loved the contrast of the ingredients in my burger. Everything was cohesive. I got the ranch burger and it wasn't overpowering. Burgers were juicy. The portions are pretty big (for me at least) and the happy hour which lasts to 7pm was great Enjoy sitting outside to get a view of the lakefront and ducks! Would definitely recommend this place and will come back when my next burger craving strikes.
google avatar

Lilian z.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!! The service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive. I ordered the Brad Sham and it was incredibly juicy and savory! They never skimp on size over here and it even held together when cut in half! Would give this place 5 stars BUT I just wish the fries were more crispy and had A Lot more salt! Either way it's a great place for a cold beer and great/high quality burgers!

Jeremy M.

Yelp
Great burgers, great drink, cheese fries surprise! Love this place. We stop anytime we are in town.

Yelp
Isabel's planes got hit by the delay storms that hit in December. We took advantage to get some dinner at rodeo goat. This is a popular DFW chain that is a favorite of mine that I wanted Isabel to get the chance to experience. I got the Lucy Burger which might just be my favorite burger (not just at Rodeo Goat but burgers in general). The location at cypress waters cannot be beat, a great waterfront location. Travis' Rating Taste - 5 Quality - 5 Ambiance - 5 Overall - 5 Isabel's Rating Taste - 4 Quality - 5 Ambiance - 4.5 Overall - 4.5

Yelp
During our lunch the presentation of the food was good until......... There was dry bird poop crusted on my plate. When the manager was notified they claimed there was nothing they can do since some of their plates sit outside. What baffled me is the fact that the bird poop was dry and was sitting for quite a while obviously. Only excuses were made and no solution was brought about. The waiter also confirmed that they use a dishwasher but don't check for plate cleanliness.

Julian M.

Yelp
Honestly pretty disappointed, our server dropped off waters and then forgot about us . Tried to flag down the other 2 servers but they wouldn't make eye contact and only worried about their tables. After a while tables started to leave.been a while since I last came and after this experience probably not coming back anytime soon.
google avatar

R C.

Yelp
The service as well as the food is consistent, always. They have managed to maintain the same standards at each restaurant which is impressive.
google avatar

Rebecca Y.

Yelp
Overall, my wife and I just didn't have a good time at Rodeo Goat. The burgers felt really overpriced. The cheese fries with a surprise were great. But we were told the surprise was brisket, but it actually contained brisket and chorizo (too spicy and not what we wanted). I didn't really like the atmosphere and interior, cheap tables, wicker chairs, wasn't what I expected for the price point. It wasn't clear from either the menu or server what the happy hour specials were. I saw our server and at least one other server on their phones around the kitchen area while I was trying to get her attention. I did try a sample of their moontang which I really enjoyed and I absolutely want to come back on a Monday and get a glass ($3). But I'm not coming back for a burger.
google avatar

Morgan R.

Yelp
The best cheese fries EVER! Pro-tip: you can order a half order of them, perfect for two. Burgers are usually pretty good. We love the chill atmosphere and the service is usually pretty good.
google avatar

Danica A.

Yelp
If you're in Cypress Waters area, you gotta check out Rodeo Goat! Everything we tried was delicious : Ranch House Burger : Second Breakfast Burger : Cheese Fries Surprise The ambience is so fun as well. You have the option to dine outside & enjoy the view of the lake. Service was fantastic! Definitely going to try a different burger from this place again! If you have a vegetarian or vegan friend, no worries! They do have vegetarian & vegan patties available Follow "the.pikachew" on Instagram for more food pics!

Yelp
My wife loves this place and turned me on to it. We are hooked on these gourmet burgers. The meat is fresh, juicy, and cooked to perfection. They dress the burgers up and presentation is on a new level. The fries have this awesome seasoning on them as well. Their ranch is tasty and great with the fries & burger. If you want a fancy, mouthwatering burger and superior & friendly service, this is your burger joint!
google avatar

Wilber S.

Yelp
Food is honestly amazing, it is very different from any other burger place i have ever been to. Service and ambiance is very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend recommend this place for lunch.
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
Great food, service and ambiance! My sister and I sat at the counter, place was packed on a Friday afternoon. Patio had a great view, restaurant had a clean dining area and restrooms. The Neil Young (the vegan burger - until I added cheese) was delicious and the sweet potato fries (with ranch) are honestly the best I've ever had (I don't typically like sweet potato fries at all so that's saying something, lol). The counter service was great, I don't remember their names but there were two people who looked after us (I'm guessing a manager and a bartender). They were both friendly and patiently answered my questions regarding the drinks and food. Would love to go again!
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
One of the best blue cheese burgers I've ever had! The slaw was amazing and I usually am not a fan Fun place with great burgers and a large beer selection

Yelp
Awesome burger. Was told about this place. Hadn't found much in Dallas to write home about. But this place is great. Nice atmosphere, great service. Recommend the Hot Bastard

Yelp
One of the best meals ive ever had under 100 usd. Imagine getting a lakefront view and having a gourmet chef bbq and make a great meal for you with all unique burgers and dishes. Ranch- sublime, burgers- unique and tasty. - "best burger ive ever had" - guest next to us. They got the oaxaca. This is a must visit. Service 5/5. Left big tip. Will return.

Yelp
Good unique and tasty! Fun atmosphere for all ages! Service was good and location was scenic!

Yelp
Love the vibe. The outdoor seating is amazing as it's on the water. It's first come first serve so get here early on weekends and sunny days. I got the nanny goat burger. SO GOOD. I have never had goat cheese on a burger but it's the only way to go. Waiters are on it and knowledgeable. Will be back!

Liam F.

Yelp
The food was so good, their menu was very much interesting and they have so many good options. I recommend the steaming pile. In addition the service was great and our sever was amazing and quick with getting our food out. The ambiance was very giving western vibes and old American style cuisine.
google avatar

Yelp
Greasiest nastiest burger I've ever had in my life. Just thinking about describing the burger makes me nauseated. Not sure how this place even gets good reviews.
