The burgers are always cooked to order and on the rare chance something isn’t right management always makes the situation better. Staff are usually friendly and service is typically fast. They sometimes have bourbon store picks for onsite, which have been great. Their fries are quite good both sweet potato and normal. Also great onion rings! I’m not a fan of their tots as they aren’t traditional. Overall this is a great place to grab a good burger.

Great spot for a quality burger! Beef was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Loved the sweet potato fries. Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere can get loud, but it’s all part of the fun. Wish the burgers were a little bigger, but I’ll definitely be back!

We had an awesome time with our waiter Al tonight! He gave the best service, and was attentive and knowledgeable of everything rodeo goat, so much fun! The burgers are ridiculously yummy! I had the Lakewood C C burger, hubby had the Ranch House burger, a friend had the Empire burger, and my sister had the Naked burger open face with a fried egg on top! Drinks are awesome as well! And of course, I had a Moscow mule! I Shall Return!

Just had the blue goat burger and I am now enjoying the goat balls. Both perfect! Excellent services and atmosphere. I chose this place because I knew it was excellent to chill and read as I wait. It delivered.

I didn't wanna post anything bc I grew up in this area, and worked at a few of the places still in business, and some that aren't, in casa linda, and typically visit this establishment, but times are hard and if our hard earned money is being spent on take out we should get what we pay for, and/or exceed our expectations. I've been in the service industry for 15 yrs and I only post reviews if they are necessary. Good or bad. Tipping shows your appreciation, so if I receive great sevice I belive in overtipping up to 50% becaise I know how hard it is in the service industry when you are trying to provide for your family. Im a single mother, so when my kids and I want to treat ourselves its a big deal. Its a sacrifice, if you will, on my part. This was what we received this evening on a take out order. We've ordered from this location many times. I dont know if it was just the crew that was working tonight,or the kitchen was just being lazy, but what is this? I'd just like a proper burger for the price and I feel like in this case I would been better off just making a sandwich at home and saving the money. I hope this can be remedied.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The food was incredibly delicious, and our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. My husband was pleasantly surprised when he received a large plate of fries instead of the small one he had requested. It was quite amusing, and we all had a great time. 🤣

It was a decent burger and fries. nothing to write home about and on the expensive side for burgers. Online ordering could use some expanding. Wasn't an option for burger doneness so it was a little overcooked for my liking. When ordering a signature burger the customisation options are quite limited when compared to the BYO burger option. I found the ranch to be quite tasty tho.

Been here at least five times already. Definitely will be a staple in my monthly rotation. Burgers, fries and drinks here are great! The drinks aren't overpriced and they definitely feel like a drink your not getting scammed out of. By scammed I mean when the drink arrives with 80 percent ice in the cup. Few things to note. -Seat yourself. You don't have to wait to be seated just walk in and find a table or booth. - If your a spicy lover. They don't have anything that's actually super/extra spicey. I tried what the waiter recommended as the hottest I think it was the hot bastard with habernos. It was indeed not a hot bastard -The only thing I've tried that was disappointing, the Firebird chicken sandwich with coleslaw. It was just sad and oily. I'll stick with the burgers. -Can't go wrong with the BLTX and rattlesnake cocktails I had tried the place down the street, Good friend beer garden and burger, before coming here. I will not being go back there. Waiter service varies of course for the most part it's been a good experience. For the most part.

fast service. simple, fresh, and delicious food. very chill vibes. this is my neighborhood go to, when i feel like eating out , but not going into the city. i've had lunch here a number of times and it is consistently fresh and great. i absolutely lovvveeee their fries ! i usually get the nanny goat or a cesar salad and always with fries ( i sub the beef patty for an impossible patty and sub the bib lettuce for arugula). this is great place to watch a game and grab beer, alone or with a big group!

Rodeo Goat won again! We ended up at Rodeo Goat because we were hungry and looking for good burger. I love that you can always walk in and sit right down, no wait and immediate service. We ordered the Old No 7 (Battle of the Burger), Dad Bod and Bodacious (with the intentions of sharing and splitting between the three of us. I have been a Bodacious burger lover forever but Old No 7 might take the cake!! It's such a flavorful burger; the brown sugar bacon and brie cheese really bring it together! The waitress told us the Dad Bod has been popular recently...it was tasty but not over the top for me. The bodacious was delicious as usual, it had a pretty strong kick from the grilled jalapeños this time. We also split an order of the sweet potato fries and regular fries. We had so many fries left over for the three of us. My only complaint was the regular French fries weren't super fresh. Pro tip.... Order an extra side of pickles if you like pickles. They tangy and sour and great to eat by themselves. Our waitress was super attentive and brought us refills and take out boxes before we could even ask. I also appreciated that she didn't rush us to pay our bill. She invited us "to just hangout and let her know if we needed anything".

Wow! The perfect burger experience- all burgers all the time! All are perfectly curated and matched with amazing toppings! The sides are not to be missed- sweet potato fries a HUGE win! You will not be disappointed! Service is great and immediate- very casual vibe - tons of seating and a huge beer selection- bottle and on tap!

Marissa is the goat! She was our awesome server and I would go back just to have her. We came for happy hour and all had the Rattlesnake Margarita. It was so good and only $6! My vegan burger and sweet potato fries were both great! Love rodeo goat!

This is our third or fourth time at this location. This time I got the Brad Sham. Very juicy and flavorful. There are jalapeño, bacon, onion rings, and bbq sauce. Really good. Service was friendly and efficient. Patio seating incool weather is nice, very relaxed ambience. Great place, we will be back.

I haven't even left the restaurant and I'm ready to come back. The burgers were awesome and flavorful, the presentation and style is a perfect fit. Fun set up and a chill vibe overall. Alvin was very attentive and made the experience very welcoming. Will definitely be back for the cocktails and steaming pile

Thursday evening and it started to fill up around 6pm; thankfully we got there around 530p and had the pick of any table we wanted! You could also book "the pen" which is a private area in the back of the restaurant. Service was great, drinks were great and the food was tasty! I have nothing negative to say about our first experience at Rodeo Goat! I look forward to going back!

For a restaurant that is supposed to serve the best burgers in Texas the experience in terms of food could have been more impressive. Not that the burger lacked flavor or was undercooked, but if you cannot get all the layers in a single bite, things are piled and not well stacked. We ordered, the CHACA OAXACA & the Hot Bastard. I asked for the CHACA OAXACA without queso fresco and my wife the Hot Bastard. The CHACA OAXACA was supposed to have Pico De Gallo which was not much and I tasted the burger patty and the egg most of the time and a bit of avocado and Pico De Gallo. The Beef Chorizo patty was very flavorful. The Hot Bastard on the other hand had too many toppings/fillings that made the burger too soggy and it broke apart. Eating a burger with a fork is not fun. The Hot Bastard is also quite spicy and not for you if you do not prefer things too spicy. The service was fine, but not outstanding. Overall a decent place but not outstanding,

Went in about 6pm on a Sunday night. Sweet person saw us sit down and immediately came over with a cleaning solution as she said the table had not been cleaned. Gave us menus and said a server would be right over. We have been trying this location and it is always hit or miss on the food. Since it is closer to our house than the Rockwall location we would prefer this location. Well tonight we did not try the food. Two servers came into the area where we were sitting and said nothing. After more than 15 minutes we elected to leave. Had even one of the servers acknowledged us and said someone would be by to help us we may have stayed. But we seemed to be invisible. We will not be back. This location continues to fail.

THE BRISKET CHILLI FRIES!!!!!!!!! This place is a quick go to that most will agree on because of the good and friendly service and the food and I always look forward to the burgers of the month

Nice place, good happy hour drink prices, great hamburgers but they are pricy. $12 and drink and fries are xtra.

Very good burger! I got the bodacious, Turkey burger. Cooked well, packed with flavor. The fries were good regular and sweet potato. Good made ranch. Oh we also got queso and chips as appetizer, some of the best queso I have ever had. Great staff!

Best burger in Dallas? The loaded fries are also incredible. They may have been a bit short staffed at the time I went, but our waiter was as attentive as he possibly could be. Very friendly and helpful. Really awesome outside seating area and clean restrooms. Love!

I started off the evening with a Fainting Goat which is Revolver Blood & Honey with vodka and orange liqueur, the manu states that there is a two drink minimum on these, I didn't find that it was very strong at all but the flavor was still great. My heart had been set on having a really good burger but when we saw a waitress walk by with an order of cheese fries for another table, we were suckered in and I'm not mad about it at all. We got the half order of cheese fries, the fries were crispy and it is loaded with bacon bits and pickled jalapenos slices. The fries are nice and hot and have a creamy texture on the inside, but I do prefer them to have been twice fried so that they would have a crispier exterior. The cheese fries were delicious and even though we split a half order, they were super filling so we ended up skipping the burger all together even though most of them on the menu sounded absolutely delicious. We ended up going straight for dessert. I got the pumpkin spice goat balls since they are seasonal items, biscuit dough wrapped around sweetened brie cheese that is deep fried into crispy pillows of absolutely deliciousness and coated and cinnamon sugar. They are served typing hot while the cheese inside is super milky ingredients. They are accompanied with a pumpkin spice mascarpone or whipped cream cheese that melts into it and is absolutely everything you're fall dreams are made of. The old Highland Park Cafeteria got a cool new makeover and I can't wait to go back and actually have one of the burgers next time!!

I never been to Rodeo Goat, however my husband co-workers went there for lunch and he asked me do I want him to pick me up a burger, he told me his co workers said they made the best burgers around. So I had him bring me home a burger. He didn't get to me until til 4 hours later. Do you know I re heated my burger and fries in the air fryer and it tastes so good. I will be back to support.

That burger really hit the spot, I ordered the ranch house burger. It melted in my mouth and was so juicy. Restaurant was clean and service was great!

We got take out only. It's pricey but the portions are large. My husband ate his but I got 2 meals out of my burger and sweet potato fries. Husband has celiac - the fries were GF ( fryer has no cross contamination) We appreciated the vegan options - I had the vegan burger and he had the impossible burger because that one is GF. Both were very good. The gal working the to go orders at the bar was knowledgable about Gluten free issues and very helpful.

Kris was our waiter and he was great! I thought I was gonna have a bad experience, as we arrived at 10:28pm and the place closes at 11pm. The bartender looked at us upon entering and the gossiping wait staff said hello, but didn't come to us. Kris came as if he had hours till his end time. He was patient with my husband's choosing of beer and burger. It all worked out better than planned, which is why this review is top notch. We left Good Friends, which has burgers that are very good, to come to Rodeo Goat. This is how high we hold this place in terms of burgers. It would have been ashamed to have a less than standard experience. Kudos to Kris! I don't even care how the burger is at this point! He raised the bar on the service portion of tonight's visit.

Kate H was awesome!! Service was great, I got the Ranch House and was BLOWN AWAY at how good it was. Probably the best burger I've had in a while. Bun was soft and toasted, the marmalade was very good, and the ranch we ordered to come with the fries was delicious (we found out it's homemade). The decor fit the vibe as well. RECOMMEND

First time to visit and it will not be last! We ordered Chips and queso for appetizers. Amazing awesome queso! Five stars for it alone. I ordered the Bodacious burger. It's delicious. Buddy got Chaco Oaxaca burger, again excellent. Daughters split Avacado Caesar. Huge salad excellent but could use a bit more dressing. I ordered the cheese fries surprise for everyone to try. Holy Cow, they are AWESOME and a huge portion. A meal in itself. Emily was our server, excellent service and was a great representative of the place. We will be back when we visit family in Dallas again.

Having been to another Rodeo Goat I knew what to expect. Great menu. Great burgers. Great service. And ambiance that holds your attention until the burgers arrive. I had the Blue Goat with added bacon. It was cooked to perfection and huge. Strong blue cheese taste and a bun that holds up to the moist contents. I will, however, pass on the bacon I added. It seemed to disappear amidst the other bold flavors. My friend had the Lakewood CC, your standard burger and she loved it having to finish it with knife and fork. I appreciate that our server mentioned that the fries (sweet potato) were generous enough to share. The side of ranch was a nice addition. Being adventurous I added the Goat Chips - in house potato chips. Again with a side of ranch. Again, a generous portion. Next time I'll order one or the other. Rodeo Goat has a number of seating options. Pub stools, tables, booths, and padded patio type chairs and tables. And I appreciate that the owners paid homage to the building's past as Highland Park Cafeteria and the wall of Presidents. Well done Rodeo Goat and welcome to the neighborhood.

We are big fans of Rodeo Goat, have been since their location in the Design District opened. We live near the Casa Linda location and are still fans. The two things I will comment on are 1. We have a small granddaughter and order to go often. Cheese fries surprise always always always comes burnt and dried out. It's happened many times. 2. Service can sometimes be spotty. Again, we are coming in with a small baby and sometimes just get ignored by server. Which, given that it's a family friendly vibe in Casa Lind is frustrating.

Sadly my food was missed in the order (got it delivered) but from what we did have, the ranch sandwich (house ranch? I can't remember its name) was absolutely delicious and my friend demolished it. I just ate cheese fries which were SO GOOD. Best cheese fries honestly. Also had the desert goat balls, strangely addictive.

I don't know if I'm on a streak with delicious food, great service and good ambiance but Rodeo Goat does no wrong. From the moment we stepped in, we found a seat and someone rushed over to get us water and beverages. I was torn on my burger choice because they are each so good but me being a creature of habit, stuck to the Chaca Oaxaca burger made with chorizo, an egg and topped with avocado. My girlfriends had the Bodacious burger & Royale burger. These are some fantastic burgers that melt in your mouth. I can never finish mine! The drinks are good - I had 2 and I'm feeling good, along with their loaded cheese fries- with a surprise that you can share with 4-6 people. Staff is always attentive and friendly, they play good music and service is fast. You can sit inside or outside with today being nice enough to do either. Always a delicious time at Rodeo Goat. You have to go if you're into burgers, and they have vegan or impossible options that are just as delectable. They also have some great salads too.

I would like to proclaim myself as a burger connoisseur. I have been pushing this place off due to the low quality pictures I have seen but I was overruled by my wife to have lunch here. Boy, was I ever wrong to oppose this place. We had the Royale and Sugar burgers with the 'cheese fries no surprise'. We were certainly surprised at how good everything was. If you're a fan of jalapeños, you have got to try this place! If you're a fan of burgers, you have to try this place! If you're a fan of food... you have to try this place.

Currently (not) enjoying terrible service at this location. Sat for a while before we walked to find a server. They had "miscommunication". We finally got our cheese fries, which were made incorrectly. Then a manager in dirty Crocs came by to tell us 10 times how sorry she was. At this point, I just want my food made correctly. Now been here for a half-hour at lunch durinba busy workday and STILL haven't seen any food on our table. DISASTROUS !!! I only wish I could give less than one star

Food, service and ambiance were spectacular. Ordered and a short 6 minutes later our hot, and delicious burgers were delivered. Drinks were also good, refreshing and strong!

It took maybe 10 minutes to be acknowledged by my server. Fries came out cold. Blue goat was adequate at best. There's no reason to come here.

Love the Rodeo Goat! Definition of a classic cheeseburger. The queso and fries are top notch too. Definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I finally visited this weekend. I was a bit concerned about arriving on Friday evening during Happy Hour, but it's a big place, and we just seated ourselves (per the sign.) Service was great - fast, but friendly. I'm not sure why I expected a bar atmosphere because it is very family friendly, to the point where if you are allergic to children, you might want to arrive a bit later. Chips and salsa were good - I love the salsa. Next time, we'll try the queso. I had a side salad to start and it was very tasty. It was also larger than I expected. My wife and I both had Ranch House burgers, and they were great. The bacon jam is amazing. I had fries, which are very good (and a large serving.) My wife had the Texas Caviar and didn't care for the hominy in it. When the staff noticed she hadn't eaten it, they asked if she didn't like it, and then took it off the bill. (Two of the staff said they didn't like the hominy either.) My wife just ate the rest of my fries. I do love that your waiter can close out your bill at the table. Why doesn't everyone do this? We'll be back.

Awful non-existent service. Walked out after being ignored by the bar lady. She was obviously too busy masterbating in the women's room. Why would I buy a beer and burger here? I have eaten here before and found the burgers and fries to be disappointing. Hence my spot on review.

A great patio burger spot in the Casa Linda area. I'm more of a basic burger person so I feel like the menu is slightly too adventurous for me but love how fresh the food is. The fries are always so crispy!

Nice spot for a burger. We sat on the patio and enjoyed it. The menu is large, with a great selection of burgers. The drink selection is fantastic. Service was great at first but then trailed off. However, it was lunch time and a bit busy. Can't wait to try this again soon.

Cute themed sports bar/burger joint with a clean, casual open atmosphere. Burgers of all types and styles, vegan options too. However, food was bland and unremarkable but they give you plenty of it. They heavily promote alcohol sales and the food is about $15-18 for a burger with fries. Service is a bit iffy and inconsistent- we had a total of three servers during our one hour visit and were presented with the bill without asking if we wanted desserts. In a restaurant market already heavy with bars & burger joints - there are several within a two mile radius, RG offers nothing particularly noteworthy and gets lost in the herd.

Great neighborhood spot for delish burgers! I'm surprised by the ratings and comments so far considering a fairly new spot. We've been a few times now and had a great experience with service which was always super quick. We mostly seated ourselves and there was always plenty of seating available. The restaurant is overall clean and seems to be operating efficiently. For sides, we enjoyed their loaded fries with cheese, jalepeno and fresh homemade ranch sauce. The burgers are all great, fresh and they offer a great variety! I enjoy their Impossible burgers and especially the Bodacious & Chaca Oaxaca burgers! Cool vibe inside and has some remnants of Highland Park Cafeteria which was there for many years before Rodeo Goat. We consider this one of our new go-to spots in the East Dallas neighborhood and always look forward to going!

The burgers and fries are always fresh and hearty whenever we come here! If you love trying different hamburger combos with a variety of toppings this is the spot.

This place started out with horrible food and service. The food has improved a lot but it is very inconsistent. The service is also hit or miss. The food sequencing is off and needs attention. I've eaten here about 25 times. I may try again, but it'll be a while.

Came for Sunday lunch, it was a decent crowd for that day. Tried the ranch house, overall the burger was good, ranch mayo was nice & bacon onion marmalade was very good. The French fries would definitely be enough for 2 to share. It's nice because it is pretty much a full service restaurant but it still has the casual feel. We sat inside but will definitely be back because of the patio. There's plenty of parking, it's on the other side of Tom Thumb.

Ranch house and the half order of loaded fry's with no surprise is my go to! Definitely recommend this place for a burger!

We got the cheesy fries to start ,so good ! Our burgers were bomb ! Visiting from California so the ambiance to me was cute ! Friendly staff ! A go to spot whenever I come visit my friends again forsure !

Finally decided to go try Rodeo Goat today. Went in, and it was so cold it felt like I was in a freezer. I know gas prices are high, but do you really have to freeze your customers to death? It was 2:30, and there were only a few customers. After sitting there unnoticed for a few minutes, I decided that I was going to be waiting a long time for service, so I left. Not a good first impression, Rodeo Goat.

I got the Hola Senorita Burger but with Turkey burger. It was sooooo goood. It was pretty fast service as well!

This was the first time I ate at the Rodeo Goat. It was the best burger that I've had since moving to TX. I've been looking for a place that made their burger with thick juicy patties and I wasn't disappointed. I like just a regular burger so I chose The Lakewood. Oh my! This burger was SO good!!! Fries are extra but an order is big enough to share. They're hand cut and delicious as well! Rodeo Goat is now my go-to place for a burger! The have a good selection of a variety of beer available. I thought it was great they included brown/amber ales, porters & stouts on their drink menu for those who like darker beers. Our server was Victor and he was awesome! I'll be asking to sit at his table the next time I visit!
