The food is so delicious 😭😭😭 I went in to order a suya plate & it was ready in no time, the owner was really friendly too! A perfect spot to grab delicious west african food in the neighborhood!

2 times to this place. The seasoning is nicely done. I am not a huge fan of rice but this rice is cooked to perfection with flavor (ate it all) Beef taste fresh and great flavor. I live in the area really hope they can keep this level of food. Really enjoy the food and feels very clean and healtly.

We ordered the salmon and suya plate - everything was extremely flavorful and perfectly cooked. Big portions and fair prices. I only wish they were open more days of the week!

Rodo is a charming little restaurant serving amazing West African food. We tried the beef and salmon, both were excellent and just the right amount of spice. On top of that, Ayo was warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

This is my second time eating here. Both times the food was fantastic! I am always skeptical about eating food from any country that is too hot and spicy. Everything that I had was perfect and just right for my taste. I am a forever customer and highly recommend this establishment.

My favorite restaurant in bed stuy. Everything was so flavorful, good heaping portions, and just so so so so good. I’m so happy to have stumbled upon this place. The beef was unbelievable and the homemade drinks were SO refreshing on this hot summer day

Suya, jollof and plantain were delicious. A bit more fusion than traditional Nigerian food but very well done. Prices were also very reasonable. My wife liked the Moringa Passion drink. Will definitely order from here as well

After hearing much about this restaurant I stopped in on a Saturday to give it a try. Loved the beef, it was tender and flavorful. The salad was a great side, loved the dressing and freshness of the salad. I took off 1 star for the rice, for some reason I expected it to have more flavor. The portion size is good and the service was excellent. I will visit again.

Excellent new window serving a small menu of African food - get both the Grilled Beef Plate and the Salmon Plate ($16) for a very satisfying meal. They also have sides, which are mostly larger portions of the components that make up the plates.

I had the beef suya (grilled sirloin crusted in peanuts, cayenne, ginger, and garlic) and it was tremendous. The sides (jollof rice, kale salad, plantains) were good too. I expected it to be like Ghanaian food, but it wasn't like anything I'd had in Ghana. It's kind of a neighborhood hangout and we talked to a guy from Nigeria who said the dish is not fusion, but is common in Nigeria. There are only two mains on the menu, beef suya and salmon suya. This is a very friendly place to eat a casual meal. Don't count on their posted hours, though. We first tried to eat there on a Saturday night around 9 pm, when they are supposed to be open to 10 pm. Closed.

The food here taste great!! I got the grilled salmon plate, the food is tasty, smells great and the portion size is okay. The food is made fresh on the spot. Oh don't forget to buy there juice, it's so so refreshing. The staff are extremely nice, I would give them a A++ for customer service. They have a tables and chairs outside if you want to eat.

Another great West African meal this weekend at Rodo Foods on Putnam near Tompkins! Great food, cute/clean place and the owner and folks that work there are so nice! Reasonably priced and big portions...the Suya beef plate with salad, Jollof rice and plantains is so good! Will try the salmon plate this weekend...and the Moringa fruit teas are great..... This little place is a great addition to our Bed Stuy neighborhood and look forward to them being able to be open more than on Friday/Saturday/Sunday...

Suya plate is phenomenal. Tender and perfectly seasoned. Fresh ingredients, great food.

The suya and salmon plates are both on point - salad, jollof and plantains are all great. It's a really filling meal for $16 and the best suya I've had in BK.

I second everything people have said about the food because it's really good. HOWEVER! It is nearly impossible to figure out when this place is open. No one picks up when you call, and it doesn't help that the number on their website is different from the number on Google. There have been 2 instances now where I have ordered food that never showed because they were closed at a time when they were supposed to be open. Please sort this out because I genuinely like the food!

honestly one of the best places to eat in bed stuy rn. they can't miss! the joloff rice and the beef suya plate are untouchable
