I had the beef suya (grilled sirloin crusted in peanuts, cayenne, ginger, and garlic) and it was tremendous. The sides (jollof rice, kale salad, plantains) were good too.
I expected it to be like Ghanaian food, but it wasn't like anything I'd had in Ghana. It's kind of a neighborhood hangout and we talked to a guy from Nigeria who said the dish is not fusion, but is common in Nigeria. There are only two mains on the menu, beef suya and salmon suya. This is a very friendly place to eat a casual meal. Don't count on their posted hours, though. We first tried to eat there on a Saturday night around 9 pm, when they are supposed to be open to 10 pm. Closed.
