Google
This restaurant is perfect for large gatherings and has a pretty decent bar with a couple of television sets playing sports. The food and service need a little help in my observation but I’ve only been here once so that was my first impression. We ordered small bites like the Quesadillas, tacos, burritos and churros. Nothing really impressed my tastebuds but I can say the chips and salsa were the best. I ordered a couple of drinks from the bar and those were pretty decent but the service was pretty slow for being a weekday. I’m hoping it’s better on the weekends because this is a gem that has the potential to shine. But I’m going to say it’s worth checking out if you’re not pressed for time and don’t mind the wait.

Google
I’ve been coming here for years, and today I ordered the perfect combo for my appetite. The House Margarita with Tajín was top notch — strong, flavorful, and I couldn’t even finish it (and I’m NOT a lightweight!). I ordered two chicken taquitos à la carte, and they were phenomenal. Highly recommend! The restaurant has big outdoor and indoor seating. Highly recommend. The servers abd wait staff were great!

Google
Decent Mexican. I had the shrimp quesadilla and it was pretty yummy. Good chips and salsa. Big seating area with festive decorations. Friendly staff.

Google
Pleasantly surprised! I ordered the salmon plate and expected a small piece of salmon with a little bit of rice and minimal vegetables, but this is what I got. They didn't hold back with their portions and I feel I actually got my money's worth. Can't wait to come back.

Google
Went there for brunch with friends and it was great. I had pozole and it was delicious😋. There was a mariachi there. Felipe Leon, they were amazing and very entertaining. Our server Fernando was exceptional

Google
Tonight at Rodrigo's they had a live performance. "The Darrell's!" They were AMAZING! The food is good the service is good! We have absolutely no complaints about the Corona location!!!! Must visit on band night!!

Google
The place and people are really nice. The food though is a different story. Now to be clear we were told, after the fact, that their normal cooks were not working. The food was bland. Also they messed up on orders (not majorly but simple adjustments that were asked for were completely missed). Their salads had a weird smell (might be the dressing they used). From the group I went with they informed me this is rare but I can only judge it off my experience. Eat here if you want to try it but I feel you may be rolling the dice.

Google
I recently visited Rodrigos corona location was pleasantly surprised by both the updated decor and the fantastic service. The restaurant has undergone a major transformation, and the new decor really adds to the ambiance. The space feels fresh, with modern touches that still maintain that authentic Mexican charm. The cozy lighting, mixed with artistic murals and handcrafted details, creates a welcoming atmosphere. It's a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary, which makes it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. Fernando was our server, and I can’t speak highly enough of his attentiveness and friendly demeanor. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, making great suggestions and checking in on us at just the right moments. His warmth really added to the overall experience, making us feel like valued guests. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does! As for the food, it was as delicious as ever! and the portions were generous. My personal favorite was the seafood enchiladas, which had the perfect balance of flavors. Fernando recommended hibiscus margarita, and it did not disappoint. Overall, between the refreshed decor and outstanding service, I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
We thought this place was great! Nervous after other reviews, but shouldn't have been! We arrived near closing. We were greeted with a smile. Seated and served quickly. Food was great! Place was clean and comfortable. Would recommend!

Yelp
The chicken tortilla soup was DIVINE! It was hearty and a meal on its own. The Mexican Caesar salad was .... weird. The dressing was sweet. Like Cool Whip sweet. Not what I expected for a salad. The chicken was very very gamey. No seasoning AT ALL and VERY DRY. I took it home to try to fix it, but the chicken was just inedible. I had to throw it out. Something is VERY WRONG in the kitchen. I know the owner has been responding to similar reviews that these are family recipes, but y'all need to take a closer look at what is going on in the kitchen at the Corona location. Your chef doesn't even salt ANYTHING. I am not one to salt my food but even the chips needed salt. The salsa needed salt and some lime. It was literally mushed tomatoes. I asked for the spicy salsa and it was mushy peppers, but still NO FLAVOR. One person in our party ordered a margarita. He's had one at this location before, many times before, and he couldn't even handle one sip. It was all sugar (simple syrup). He had to flag our server down and ask her to re-make in, in which she protested and said that's just the recipe. He asked her politely again to remake it with significantly less simple syrup. When it came back, it was fine. Owners, management: if you're reading this.....your dining room was EMPTY at 7pm on a Saturday night. The reviews are saying the same thing. Something is VERY WRONG in your kitchen. Go spend a week there, side by side with your kitchen staff. Put a spoon in each dish and taste test them. Your Riverside (La Sierra) location doesn't have these issues.

Yelp
Worst experience ever. I spent 20min writing the review and sight kicked me out before posting. Long story short No one helped us, begged for menus, rude waiter handed us menus and at same time asked for drink orders. We explained we hadn't even seen menu yet and needed a minute. He refused to leave table , just stating at us repeating over and over that he needed our drink orders. Begrudgingly we gave him our order due to pressure he was putting on us. He brought us wrong drinks and they tasted like CRAP. We then waited as several servers including the jerk, walked past us over and over and no one took our order. Place was DEAD BTW. Finally my friend asked if we could just leave. I flagged down the jerk, paid and asked front desk for manager. I explained to manager how awful it was and instead of apologizing or asking what would make it better...he look shocked and said ...oh I should speak to him right away and he walked away from us. We bounced...we will never return. We went to Circle City Tavern..way better food, service and drinks

Yelp
Food was okay. Dont recommend getting dessert. I ordered the mud pie and it was frozen solid. They got it from their deep freezer and slapped it on a plate. There werent many options and I think they ran out of some choices. Before you say I could of sent it back, I would have but our server was not around often enough for that to be possible. The restaurant wasn't busy. We did have a reservation for 8 I put a note that it was my dads bday. They dont offer any celebritory dessert (didnt know until the end) and we were tucked away in the very back. If you're celebrating go elsewhere.

Yelp
All of the above!! Excellent food, service and ambience !! Great place for Sunday brunch

Yelp
Always a great place for family gatherings . Good food and great service. My go to place for any kind of gathering.

Yelp
Great Mexican food in the IE, had a good experience and my server was really nice. Would definitely recommend

Yelp
Family-friendly, casual dining spot that serves great authentic Mexican cuisine with great service in a lively atmosphere! Cozy outdoor patio with a fireplace and heat lamps to enjoy during winter months. Been a go-to in our family for years. Fav menu item: ceviche!
google avatar

Danielle B.

Yelp
Me, the hubby and large group of friends(10 -15) came here after our assembly in Norco! We sat out in the patio area. We got there a little late so everyone was starting on their drinks and had out there food order in but the waitress was kind and got our order drinks in as soon as we sat down. I ordered the combination plate with the chili Colorado and a chicken crispy taco($19). Our food took about 10 min to come out. The food was so good and plentiful that I took a good amount home. The staff was accommodating and refreshed our drinks as needed. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area!

Yelp
I've eaten here several times and the food has always been delicious but tonight proved the exception. I ordered the fajita taco salad. All ingredients were cold ... including the refried beans and the steak. Nothing worse than eating cold beans. Just very disappointed in the food tonight. Maybe they have a new cook? ‍

Jeanne A.

Yelp
Food is consistent. Working on a party for 50 people and the staff has been amazing. Glad I chose Rodrigos for the venue.
google avatar

Janae P.

Yelp
My family and I enjoyed our meals. Their service was good. The ambience was perfect for a Mexican Grill. I had the taco and enchilada plate.

Jennifer E.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in for dinner and a Margarita. On December 2nd 25. They must have changed their bartender. Because they used to have the best margaritas. You are so disappointed. You couldn't taste the tequila, and they taste like sugar. We definitely will have to start going back to El Cholo. What a bummer They used to have the best margaritas. Even the house margaritas, my husband raved about. We were so disappointed. I also don't like that. When you give a review, you can't correct punctuation. And go back and edit..
google avatar

R T.

Yelp
The service was excellent but unfortunately that's the end of the good news. The food is not bad and if your looking for a very American version of "Mexican" food then this may be your jam. If your looking for something more then don't get the very average tostada with flavorless chili colorado or the cheese enchilada and taco lunch special.
google avatar

Hector R.

Yelp
I'm going g to Start by saying I love eating at this restaurant. Last time I was here I brought up to the manager how bad the table was last time. He said they would take care of it. I came back and you can see how bad it is. I was very disappointed of how dirty it was. This is my first 1 star and it's due to cleanliness not food.
google avatar

Denise J.

Yelp
Great to stop back at this location. Salsa and guacamole still FAB. Service was very good - thanks to Jose. Such an inviting interior. Don't miss out!
google avatar

Christine M.

Yelp
Love the new bright modern look inside. Food was great as always. I literally crave their chips and salsa and the chicken tostada salad was so fresh (generous protein portion on top). They have the best skinny margarita around. Staff was friendly and the lively mariachi band made the evening extra special. I've been going to Rodrigo's for years and it is one of my go to places for comfort food.
google avatar

Rogelio C.

Yelp
Well let's start with if I felt welcomed. Big fat no! Bartender is very low energy. Mad at the world. Maybe hates his job. Food tasted microwaved. No flavor. Taco shell was old and chewy. Spanish rice falls short of representing Spanish rice. Low effort in freshness. My business partner and I will probably not come back. Was a bad experience. And worst salsa for chips I've ever experienced. Water with cut tomatoes. No spicy. No Latino soul. No salsa .
google avatar

Wes H.

Yelp
Nothing close to the Yorba and Tustin locations. I've been going to Rodrigo's formerly known as Don Jose's in Tustin for about 20 years and always have a good meal, great chips and salsa, and happy hour deals are great. At this location, the salsa was mostly chunks of tomato, little onion or cilantro, in a tiny pestle. Happy hour only covers certain well liquors but not others which makes no sense. The bartender showed little interest in making the trip better so i had one drink and went across the street somewhere else.

Yelp
This place is a dump everything was disgusting about this place from the food to the horrible rude service all the way down to the managers attitude and to top it all off they had dirty sticky menus the place smelled like moldy wet carpet The taco was extremely hard and the rice tasted like weird hard rice a roni one waiter had a big huge mustache that was bigger than his head and he was avoiding serving us we had to keep calling him to wait on us because our waitress that had ugly tattoos on her face just walked out and left and didn't bother to even ask us if we want drinks we go our food took one bite and just left from this nightmare of a dump along with their poor excuse train wreck of service that they offer just avoid this place like the plague

Chris O.

Yelp
Food is always great but Monica's service is even better!! Thank you for your professionalism, attentiveness and most importantly your hospitality.

Erik R.

Yelp
I need to remember that I just don't enjoy the food here. Beans and rice are most definitely boxed/canned. Salsa tastes like flavorless canned Rotel salsa. Drinks are meh.

Camille H.

Yelp
Don't order albondiga soup if you know what a good one entails. I've never had it with chunks of cooked onion & bell pepper but I have had it with rice inside and carrot and maybe even a few dices of potatoes & a tortilla. The tamale was gross and not what I ordered, but tasted from someone else's plate , most people already know you don't order that from a restaurant unless they're known for their tamales. I do love their extra hot salsa, you do have to ask for. My Thai was good coconut margarita was good . The service was good and ambience is cool.
google avatar

Dan N.

Yelp
Chili Colorado very bland, beans bland, rice cooked Asian style, relleno bland. Ground beef taco meat was dry and bland as well, pre made shell fell apart. One and done here. Very dissapointing
google avatar

Jan C.

Yelp
Bar music, please go back to the old music you used to play. Food is good and great service.
google avatar

Teri S.

Yelp
It was nice to see Fernando bar tending again last night. He is one of the best bartender around Corona. Also enjoyed the live band. Great food as well as the new look. Keep it up will be back.

Sarah W.

Yelp
I work nearby and come here frequently with my co-workers for dinner. The service here has always been great for me and is fairly fast. The bartenders make great drinks and they have great happy hour deals. I contacted the manager awhile back and she informed me they do have vegan options available because some dishes can be modified. Every server I've had has been amazing but I only know the girls name from our most recent visit. Desirae was very sweet and fun to talk to.

Kelly B.

Yelp
The food was flavorless. I have been a fan of this establishment. I could have cooked a better meal at my home. Did not have a wonderful experience.
google avatar

Candace R.

Yelp
Always clean , efficient, and the food and drinks are always Amazing!! 23 year customer !!
google avatar

Julie M.

Yelp
The food was not authentic at all! Being Mexican I expected so much more! So disappointed! I think we were the only Mexicans in the whole restaurant and it's huge! The Mariachi was horrific! They didn't know any of the songs we requested and had to choose from what they knew. It's obvious they do not practice together at all. It's Mother's Day and we were hoping for a little culture. This is not good and we will not be back! I will also tell everyone I now! Get it together!
google avatar

Laura H.

Yelp
Took my kids here a little earlier then the dinner rush. The waiter was very friendly and the food came out really fast. I always get the chimichangitas appetizer. I used to love them! They taste a little different now. More beans and less meat. They are ok but not as good as I remember. But the chips and salsa are still great and the service was great.
google avatar

Mirna B.

Yelp
Today I order an albondigas soup, side of rice and a horchata, horrible food, the soup extremely salty, horchata extremely sweet and a lot of vanilla, the food went directly into the trash, I lost $18, looks like they don't taste the food at time of preparation.

Terri R.

Yelp
Monica was amazing. Great personality and a really good waitress. I hope I get her again.

Yelp
Stopped at Rodrigo's on our way home from Glen Helen raceway. We were starving and wanted a sit down Mexican restaurant with chips & salsa. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday afternoon. We sat in the bar so we could watch college football. Chips & salsa were good. Ask for the spicy one. It's much better. Ordered a shredded beef taco plate, flauta plate and cheese enchilada. Really disappointed that it was 1 flauta cut in half. For the price you'd think you'd get at least 2 FULL flautas cut in half but whatever. Tacos and enchiladas were good. We'd go back but if you're starving, I don't recommend the flautas unless you're going to fill up on chips & salsa

Alicia Y.

Yelp
Always great food and great service! This is our favorite gathering spots! Their patio is fantastic.

Norma G.

Yelp
Last time I was there for lunch was on Sunday July 27,2025. Food was good but it took some time to come we ate two rounds of chips and salsa. Service was O.K. Nothing special. My daughter in law came from West Covina and she wanted Mexican food. I was not impressed by anything that is why I gave 3 stars
google avatar

Kathy A.

Yelp
I really love Rodrigo's we go there a lot food is good and customer service is great because we go so much I wish they would add a few more things to there menu like taco birria and chicken mole that would be awesome I believe adding some more good stuff to there menu would bring more customers in because we really don't have any good Mexican restaurants around so I think this would be great opportunity for Rodrigo's to add more great food to the menu so we don't have to drive to Rancho Cucamonga and Upland for Mexican food that Rodrigo's don't have .

Martha R.

Yelp
We went for happy hour today, and Monica did a great job. Food and drinks we delicious. Will come back soon.
google avatar

Brittany P.

Yelp
We went to Rodrigos last night for my husband's birthday. We have been to this location numerous times, but unfortunately last night was awful service. Its almost like we were forgotten about. We had a large party so they were getting a tip regardless of their service. Our drinks were constantly empty, they were stingy on the chips and salsa, the food was bland, and to top it off, I asked them to bring the cake in that I provided so we can sing happy birthday, and they brought the cake and left. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they use to sing happy birthday with your group. I was very disappointed with the service we were given. I dont remember it being so terrible. Needless to say, we won't be back anytime soon. The location in Riverside is much better.
google avatar

Cristina A.

Yelp
Craving some Mexican food maybe some mariachi entertainment.. this is your place. Not only is it affordable but tasty and hits the spot. There's a large outdoor seating area with a fireplace and heaters or the big cantina area or dining room. Walked in Friday night waited around 10 minutes to be seated. Ordered the carnitas plate and the stuffed pasilla pepper. Stuffed pepper was really good and had some heat to it. Plenty of parking, free refills and quick service.
google avatar

Aimee D.

Yelp
We have been coming here for over 20 years. This has always been a place for our family to gather and have a good meal. We recently met up again. Steve is the manager and he was at the other Rodrigo's in Corona. He is a great guy and always so kind to our family. The service was so attentive and friendly as always. Constantly checking on us and refilling our chips/salsa/drinks. Never had to ask. The fajitas were so yummy. The salsa is our favorite and the chips are fresh. We love this place, not just because we get Mexican food, but because it feels like home in a way.
google avatar

Cathy N.

Yelp
I ordered the chili Colorado burrito. The chili tasted bland and the cheese tasted fake. The burrito was filling though. I sat outside with a big group, and there was plenty of seating left. The servers would bring chips and not enough salsa. When more guests arrived, they were very slow to bring more chips and salsa.

Thomas C.

Yelp
We had our engagement brunch party there on a Saturday. The food and servers (Monica and Juan) were amazing! Unlimited mimosas and they even helped with the initial setup. Nice atmosphere and clean, welcoming decor. We did run into a few snags that I think anyone who decides to book this for an event should know. The manager we booked the event with, Marco, promised us a few things that were not honored on the day of the event. Apparently a new manager joined the staff, Michael, who said some of the things we told we would be able to do, such as bring our own tequila for a toast, was not allowed due to the type of liquor license they have. I asked him to show me and he was unable to do so. I understand that the original manager may not have as many years as a manager as Michael says he has but what is troubling is that they apparently did not communicate well with each other. If some of the things we were told we could do was not allowed then they should have told us before the event. Marco had to call us the day before the event to ask us what our deposit was because Michael had thrown away the receipts. We chose our food items in advance using the brunch menu and were not told that the kitchen would stop that menu service at 2pm even though our event was until 4pm until we tried to have some late arriving guests try to order food which led to my second disappointing conversation with Michael who was the manager on duty. Again, except for those few disappointing moments it was overall a positive experience and they even scheduled the waitress we wanted, Monica, who doesn't normally work that shift and was amazing!

Loretta H.

Yelp
Good food and the service was excellent would return weekly I'f possible Drinks were good

Dana E.

Yelp
I love this place..... But the waiter Fernando made my visit extra special. He is the best waiter I've ever had. So professional and attentive. Will come back here because of the great service I received from him.
google avatar

Bob B.

Yelp
We stopped by their celebration yesterday (7/1) for a grand reopening event they did at this Corona Rodrigo's location. The energy and vibe was really nice and the staff was very helpful and enthusiastic. We had the nachos, a 2 item combo plate and more, and everything was fresh and delicious. The Mariachi group playing cover songs around the restaurant was a nice added touch, we'll be coming back for sure!
google avatar

Amanda J.

Yelp
Delicious Mexican comfort food. I like Rodrigo's a lot. Nice bar with tables. And they have a nice outdoor seating area with a fireplace. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Everything on the menu Is delicious! Best food All of the combination platters, chicken tortilla soup, Taquitos Fried ice cream All the margaritas !! They even had strolling mariachis when I was there on Friday. This made the dinner experience very enjoyable. Overall a little old school and thats part of why I like it

Mikayla M.

Yelp
This restaurant has Amazing service, where the servers are so kind and are always there asking if you need anything. The food this really amazing and the vibe of the restaurant is just really nice and family

Ed P.

Yelp
Employees were very helpful and answered all questions. Everyone was professional both the appearance and attitude.
