Wow. I finally found a great fruit and vegetable market in St. Louis! They also sell flowering plants. Not all that large but outside and covered from the rain, they have a nice selection of fruits and vegetables. And wow, the prices are great. They had blackberries for 99 cents a package and blueberries for $2.50 (and bought the day before for $7.50 from the supermarket)

MUST VISIT for Foodies! Peaches are one of my favorite fruits. I wait all year long for the first peaches to arrive. I often take a risk when I see the first batch but only after smelling them to see if we are close. Often not happy with my first test of the year. TODAY was pure bliss dripping down my arm as I ate this wonderful gift of nature. I could actually smell the peaches 2 feet away from the display and was mesmerized. See peach photo below. I usually cooking for my family but happen to be bachelor the next few days but could not help myself from buying peaches, amazing Amish grown tomatoes (also smelled device), fresh picked green onions, beautiful poblano peppers I will roast, peel and stuff, fresh corn, silly but a really beautiful red onion. Prices are great and. I love supporting local farmers.

Google
I love this place. Excellent produce at great prices. Plus it’s a small business. What’s better than shopping small and local? They also carry seasonal items such as flowers and herbs in the summer, pumpkins and gourds in the fall, and evergreen trees in winter.

Google
Nice place to pick up some fruits and veggies. Though watch what you are buying. I grabbed some strawberries. Thought they looked nice at a glance. However when I went to go eat them later that day half of them were brown and some fuzzy.

Google
Love this place for being so close to home, good prices, friendly people. They have a great flower selection in spring/summer!

Google
Great produce, prices, and staff. Get your produce here and at grocery stores. They get a lot from the Amish and Mennanites.

Google
Finally met Roger. Still going strong. Best produce market but wish they had organics.

Google
Super cheap stuff. Use it in the next two days. It's ready to eat Now.

Yelp
Cute little side stop for good quality, affordable produce. Convenient location so you can stock up while running other errands. Parking in the lot can be a bit tight but there's plenty of street parking around. Shop local!

Yelp
A weekly staple in our food supply chain, fruits and veggies from Roger's are a must in our home. Great quality, great prices, and friendly service. I wish they had herbs like cilantro, basil and parsley, as they go great with things like tomato salads and pico de gallo. Exceptional tomatoes (when in season) and melons. At this time of the year (July), every week they have local stuff that is off the chart.

Yelp
Ran into Roger's as a nice change of pace from some our usual fresh produce spots. It is a quaint spot that appears may have had a section shut down before we got there because it sold out. Or, maybe just limited selection based on time of year. The prices were great. The selection was nice as well. It was not extraordinary, all of your bases were covered, nothing exotic or hard to get. All of the workers were friendly as well. The small inside section was great. It was basically the discount section for produce with imperfections. So, already cheap prices just got cheaper. They also had a nice selection of local honey and popcorn which seemed intriguing, but I did not end up getting any. Overall a small shop, but still a nice little place to check out when rounding out your basics for produce. And, once more, you will not find many places with better prices.

Yelp
Produce is really good. The staff were friendly, and helpful. I will be going back. Location is a plus.

Yelp
Go to this place weekly to get my fruits and veggies. Great selection and good prices.

Yelp
My husband and I go there every week to stock up. The fruit and veg are cheap and fresh. The crew is super friendly :)

Yelp
Love love love this produce stand!! AMAZING prices and the staff are all so nice! You'll spend about 1/4 of what you'd spend at the grocery store for most items. I've been coming here for years and will continue to!

Yelp
I've been going to rogers forever. They always have a wide selection of fruits and veggies with great prices! If you need ginger, this is place to get it! Love to get my weekly produce here

Yelp
A nice little vegetable stand, with a good selection, that's been there as long as I can remember. I'm close to 60 and it was there when I was a kid. If I remember correctly, I went to school with two kids that were somehow related to the owner but that was a long time ago. A lot of reviews have talked about the very inexpensive prices. Based on this, I invited a friend of mine to come with me who is "cheap" , I decided to try Rogers produce instead of going to my usual Summit Produce & the farmers at Kirkwood Farmer's Market because, while they both are close enough, Roger's Produce is closer. I purchased home-grown corn, homegrown tomatoes, some Bella mushrooms, homegrown peaches, garlic cloves and asparagus (that was not homegrown). The homegrown corn was extremely sweet and delicious, same for the portobello mushroom which I grilled in olive oil, garlic and my own blend of seasonings. The homegrown tomatoes that I sliced in a salad were delicious. I have plenty more corn, peaches and tomatoes The homegrown peaches were delicious as well. I did not find the prices overly inexpensive as some of the reviewers had commented. I did find them in line with other farmer's markets selling local produce in the area. With the coupon that I had from Summit Produce in Kirkwood and the frequent shopper stamp, I might have done a little better but I don't shop at Farmers Markets and local produce shops for price point. I'm a foodie and I shop there for quality if for some reason I am not doing a garden myself (like this year). Since they're close, quality decent and staff very nice, I will shop there again

Yelp
In a few words: community staple, affordable, fresh, and healthy. Lovely outdoor produce market in Webster Groves. We live in the city and therefore go pretty far out of our way to shop here. We typically go at the beginning of every week, either Monday or Tuesday, and it's never busy! Better yet, they are open 7 days a week and all year round. I imagine it's a little more crowded on Saturday and Sunday. Their produce is local whenever possible. So, when you buy here, you're supporting big and small local farms... who wouldn't want to be a part of that? They are across the street from Webster University, so they provide affordable and healthy options for students, staff, and visitors. Not only do they have fresh produce, but depending on the season, they have different plants, flowers, and herbs. During the holiday season they have live trees you can take home to adorn your living room! On top of all of these offerings and availability, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They always know where their food comes from and are readily willing to share that information. Rogers has been open for 40 years and counting. They have the perfect thing going to keep their regulars and grow their business.

Yelp
The produce was outstanding and a very nice variety. The prices were INCREDIBLY reasonable. I will most certainly return soon.

Yelp
We have been visiting the Ellisville location. We have recommended it to all our friends. Great produce. Great place. Lovely staff. I have been loving the tomatoes and eating them every day. Quality is great and price is even better. We are also loving the "ugly" cheaper produce section- I am not worried if a fruit is a bit soft or has a spot since I will cook it anyway.

Stephen C.

Yelp
They have a very wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and very reasonable prices. Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful. I really enjoy shopping there.

Catherne L.

Yelp
Roger's is the best produce stand in St. Louis. Great selection and very reasonable prices. Far below grocery stores! My highest recommendation.

Yuri B.

Yelp
On several occasions I was significantly overcharged at Roger's produce. I started to check my receipts and found out that they add items that I did not purchased. Yesterday they overcharged me $10! They also place boxes in front of the scale, so customers can't see readings on the scale. Overcharge happened to me on many occasions ,so I don't believe that it was an innocent mistake. I continued to go there being attracted by small pickles and good tomatoes. But you have to know that they are not honest people. I am not sure if Roger is aware of it. The fact, that sales staff is changing ,but many of them overcharged me during my multiple visits there, makes me think that this practice of overcharging and blocking the view of the scale is part of the training in this place. I will miss good tomatoes, but I will not miss this rotten place! Customers, ask for receipts and check your receipts ! Ellen B.

Yelp
We try to come here every week for our produce!the prices are great, the people who run the stand are lovely. Highly recommend.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE. This is my go to place for produce. CHEAP as heck and good quality! Bring your own bag - they don't have those little plastic bags you put produce into at grocery stores. You can put it all in a laundry basket provided by them if you want. Here are some examples of how CHEAP they are: Strawberries - 2lb - $1.79/lb. At Trader Joe's, they are $4.99 for 2lb! Avocado- 2 for $1 Also very friendly and knowledgeable workers. You can also find flowers and plants here. My boyfriend complimented the strawberries profusely. They are that pretty!! DEFINITELY try this place!

Yelp
Goodness gracious, I love this place!! Super, over-the-top thanks to Sarah A. for recommending it to me! Pretty small produce stand that you can easily miss if you're trying your best not to hit the pedestrians, cars and cyclists on the road running right in front of it. The produce is SO cheap and absolutely top quality. I had my doubts at first when I saw the prices, but everything I bought was delicious! It's amazing that I can stock up for a week's worth of produce for under $10, and I'm definitely a fruit-and-veggies kinda gal. The staff has always been delightful to talk to and they really seem to enjoy being there. You can buy plants and flowers there too! Hours are good too - I think they're open until 7pm most days (in the summer at least).
google avatar

Marlo S.

Yelp
The produce here is consistently mediocre - sometimes genuinely awful. (And if you're wondering, 'why would this guy go here repeatedly if he hates it,' the answer is 1. location, location, location and 2. desperation, desperation...) My guess is that it's cheap because they go to produce row and take whatever Schnucks and Dierbergs passed on. And they're very....flexible....about when it's time to throw things away. I love it that they exist, and I wish them well. (You get two stars just for showing up, in this case). But they really need to pay attention to quality. Over ten+ years, I think I've tried their apples 20 times - always hoping that I'm in for a pleasant surprise. Still willing to hope....

Yelp
I had always passed this produce place on the way to work and decided to stop in to pick up some lettuce for a salad I was making. First off, the prices are ridiculously low... especially compared to some other places I've gone. It looks like a small family-owned shop and I've ALWAYS (knock on wood) had good customer service. I like that there is plenty of room to just walk around and look at the produce. One of the staff members even offered to get me some fresher produce from the back, refrigerated section (without me asking). There is lot parking so that you don't have to battle on the street to find a good space. I paid less than $5 for my ENTIRE salad (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc.) which would have easily cost me $10 elsewhere. They do take credit/debit cards and offer bags for you to take your produce. I'd recommend anyone go as this is the best, cheapest place with good produce in the area. They are open, pretty-much, year round and their selections change with the seasons.

Yelp
The customer service and quality of produce have been phenomenal!

Yelp
Awesome to find a place like this amongst the McD's and Starbucks. Those plums are GLOWING and you know it's not because they were pumped full of chemicals.
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
Great selection of fruits and vegetables with a very good price. Never disappoints. They have a nice selection of herbs and annuals that seem healthy. Staff is nice and efficient.
google avatar

Chris N.

Yelp
It's hard for me to give this business less than 5 stars! 1. Great fresh fruit and vegetables 2. Great price 3. Quick and easy to shop 4. The owner is extremely helpful Price-wise this is as great as it gets. Roger's Produce is my first go-to shop for fresh vegetables and fruits.
google avatar

Ashlyn C.

Yelp
This is such a delightful little place. Honestly if I could give it 10 stars I would. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh and tasty. Plus the nice boys that work there are always so eager to help. I call them the fruity flirts

Ken K.

Yelp
We went there on a Sunday in February for the first time so it was pretty slow. There wasn't a huge selection this time of year but what they did gave was excellent quality and price. We spent $23 that would have been about $50-55 at a chain grocery store. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

H G.

Yelp
I LOVE this place! I've been coming here since I was a kid! What do they have? Fruits, Veggies and Plants. Good quality, all at BARGAIN prices. You bag your own fruits and veggies and then bring them inside to be weighed/counted. Its very no-frills but the selection is good and the prices are great!
google avatar

Sara W.

Yelp
Produce looked amazing! I loved the fact that they offer some of the older produce for sale at a lesser price as well. The bananas looked perfect for baking and delicious! Large and had a huge variety!
google avatar

Christopher Z.

Yelp
If you live in the area, give them a try. They have very reasonably priced, quality produce. Most of the stuff is locally grown. I get my Halloween pumpkins here every year for a fraction of the cost of other places.
google avatar

Gwendolyn M.

Yelp
Very well priced, friendly service, great selection -- what's not to love? They technically open at 9am but when I walked through at 8 they were still happy to ring me up. The owner even apologized for the "mess" of boxes as they were still setting out produce (I didn't think it looked messy at all). I think it's cool that you can buy produce that's starting to go bad at a significant discount -- a nice option if you're going to use it for dinner same day and don't always expect your veggies to look textbook-perfect. You can also buy bananas that are starting to brown which are great for various types of shakes, smoothies and baking. Be careful about where you park because they share the lot with a bunch of businesses, and many of the spots are reserved (but there are no signs to tell you that, for some reason!).
google avatar

Yelp
Living in Webster Groves without a car often makes going grocery shopping a hassle, I mean if you DON'T want to go broke shopping at Schnucks up the street. Roger's is a great little stop in the Groves where I can pick up some fresh produce without breaking the bank. This place leaves no excuse for college students around town to be snacking on anything unhealthy.

Sarah M.

Yelp
Rude staff... no greeting... no thank you. Cashier was unfriendly. I won't return...........
google avatar

Emily R.

Yelp
Prices here are amazing. I got the following today all for just $5: bag of carrots, a green pepper, a zucchini, 3 homegrown tomatoes, 3 apricots, and half a watermelon. I think the green pepper and zuke were homegrown too. Not everything here is local, but some is, and variety is good. Staff very friendly.
google avatar

Stephanie O.

Yelp
Quick tip: If you're moving, stop by Roger's Produce close to the end of their business hours. If you ask nicely, you can snag some really sturdy moving boxes for free! Free is good.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
Love this produce stand in Webster. It's reasonable in cost and great quality - more so than schnucks or dierbergs. The peaches are great and the tomatoes are fresh and my favorite!

Derik E.

Yelp
Members of my family have been going to Roger's since shortly after Roger opened this location many years ago. I went with my mother when I was still in high school and I continue to go there now. Roger gets the produce from produce row in Downtown St. Louis, and all the produce that is there has always been good. They are conscientious about the quality and make a special effort to keep it that way. Slightly "off" produce, like browning bananas for example, are discounted and sold separately. I have never been dissatisfied with anything that I have bought from Roger's, and I always like what I get. The added bonus of coming here is that it's so much less expensive than those chain grocery stores, and if you are on a budget, that always helps. They are always busier in the Summer and warmer weather than they are in the Winter or cold months, but they have produce year round at affordable prices, and that's good.
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
Pricing is good but you really have to make sure that you're not getting something that is over ripe. That said, if you know how to buy fruit and veggies this is a great place with great pricing and friendly staff
google avatar

Lynn S.

Yelp
I like this place and stopped in the other day to get some veggies. They are open year round, which I didn't know. Prices are low and fruit and veggies are usually very good.
google avatar

Jenny S.

Yelp
I wanted some fresh veggies for dinner so I stopped by the farmer's market. Now don't get me wrong, it's a cool farmer's market but no dinner veggies really - too early in the season, I guess. So I stopped by Rogers. Wowza! So many veggies. I bought a few giant healthy zucchini and then some mangos (for only 59 cents!) - a few more items and it was all just $5. I loved it and will be making it a semi-regular grocery stop.
google avatar

Anne J.

Yelp
I've only lived in St. Louis for 10 months, but I'm annoyed that I did not discover this place sooner. As soon as I finish this review, I'm returning, in fact. The quality of the produce is FANTASTIC, the variety at this time of the year is incredible, and the prices beat the grocery stores by an extensive amount. If you are in the area, definitely GO.
google avatar

Lauren L.

Yelp
This place is great. You can get so much for so little it's not even funny. A huge box full of a variety of produce for less than $10. One of the reasons I miss St. Louis.
google avatar

Julie F.

Yelp
Excellent produce, Excellent prices. Excellent accessibility (you can park five feet from the produce). Great staff with plants in the spring, pumpkins in the fall and Christmas trees before Christmas. It's WAY easier to duck in for your veges and fruit here than at a grocery store.

Danielle C.

Yelp
fresh and cheap! bring cash- they aren't fond of using cards
