This place is interesting. There's LOTS of parking, but finding the spot where you actually need to go in is a bit difficult. Where are the signs? Anyway, once you make it in, you follow this path through the brewery (pretty cool) but then you get to a desk that says, "Wait for attendant." You wait and wait but nobody shows up. Finally you go in and go upstairs and poke your head into the restaurant/bar and ask if you're allowed to sit down without being escorted. I sat in the bar. There's a view outdoors of the bay, but the windows are open flies are coming in. Annoying. The vibe is interesting. The service is great. Four-beer flights are super-cheap. Lots to see. But overall, kind of weird. You'd expect their restaurant/bar at their brewery to be top-notch. Not really.

They were able to accommodate our large group of 11 people in a timely manner. Pretty cool place where you get walk through the brewery to get to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is nothing special. The Korean bbq chicken sandwich was good just a lot spicier than expected. Salmon fish and chips were good. Would go back.

The food was ok not great. Mac lacked flavor and fell flat. The drink was good and delivered 👌 the pretzels appetizer was way over priced and under saused. We ran out and for 14$ it should come with more than you need. I would come again for the view and drinks but not for the food.

This place is great! They have “experimental” beers on tap, and as of mid-Sept 2025 there is a Chamomile Kolsh which I haven’t seen in a decade and highly recommend getting- it’s a top 10 fave beer of all time. The food is SOLIDLY good, portions are ample. The artichoke dip is yummy and the chili will fill your soul. The view is also great! Oh I didn’t mention that the bar area is 21+ which is a nice touch!

I had tried Rogue Ale's beer before in Texas, but when I saw that there was a beer pub in Newport I had to stop in. The server was exceptionally pleasant, offering us free beer samples and order recommendations as well as other local recommendations for us while in town. There was a variety of food options to choose from, with a focus on seafood. The food itself was tasty, but it altogether just standard beer pub food. The beer options were plentiful. There were roughly 20 beers/ciders to choose from, and you could order flights to sample 4 at a time. The flavors were unique and fun. The space itself is open and bright. We were seated near a merch corner of the restaurant where they have fun branded items for sale. The music was interesting. They played everything from early 90s, Whitney Houston, Led Zeppelin to Bad Bunny. A song for everyone! It was a fun dining experience, I would definitely go back.

Super cool place, neat vibe. The hostess was not very friendly but our waiter was fantastic, very personable. The food was underwhelming. The clam chowder didn’t have much flavor. The Korean bbq chicken sandwich was not a grilled chicken breast but chunks of chicken. The kids hotdog is deep fried so a bit hard. The beer was good, vodka drinks were good too. The waiter made the experience good!

Rogue Brewing – Astoria, OR We had an amazing lunch at Rogue Brewing in Astoria. I went with the rockfish tacos and was seriously impressed—they were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a zesty slaw and mango salsa that made each bite pop. Easily some of the best fish tacos I’ve had in the Northwest. My wife had the Caprese sandwich with a side of onion rings. The sandwich was spot on—fresh ingredients, toasted bread with the right crunch, and packed with flavor. And those onion rings? Unreal. Crispy on the outside, and the onion inside just melted in your mouth. Great beer, great view, and even better food. Rogue never disappoints.

This was a solid dinner choice on our roadtrip up the Oregon coast. We picked it for the location with water views, beer options, and food choices hit all our asks. We started with the chimichurri fries which were overall pretty good, I had the clam chowder and a Caesar salad-the soup desperately lacked flavor, my daughter had the caprese sandwich which she enjoyed a lot but said it is very balsamic forward, and the hubby had the blazing bbq burger which he very much enjoyed! We each enjoyed the dead guy ale, which is delicious, the hubs had the whiskey flight and I had the oyster shooter with the vodka; I’d skip the shooter! The view was great, the server was very nice and quick, overall it was a good experience!
