We came here on a Saturday night which we realized they closed at 10. From the time we sat down till the time we left, we felt like we were being rushed. I understand coming from someone who has worked in the service industry when it's time to go people want to leave however this was not a great first Impression. I can see if we came in 20 minutes before closing, but we literally had an hour and a half. As we were looking at the menu talking about what we possibly wanted , drinks all of the above our server continued to ask if we were ready yet if I had to guess she probably asked about five times and there is definitely a big difference between being attentive and rushing your customers. Even after we were notified, the kitchen would be closed. We offered to go ahead and pay and not only did our server. Ask us if we are ready, but the manager came by too. It was frustrating because we were just sitting there talking, we had already finished our food and drinks And paid. She was friendly, but we could definitely tell she was ready to go. Now getting into the food it was very underwhelming. The chips and salsa were probably the best thing we had the steak, taco and salmon both like flavor. The mangoes on the salmon taco was a great touch, but the fact the salmon taste like it was literally just cooked, took away from it. This is definitely not anywhere near authentic unfortunately or is it a tasty spin on Tex-Mex. If I had to make a suggestion, it would probably be. This is a good place to get drinks. I've heard their birria tacos are pretty good so I would give it a chance again just for that. Being that I live in the neighborhood, I'm hoping this was just an off night because I would love to patronize here more often. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of potential. However, the food itself needs work. I'm giving it four stars solely because I can see this being great. Hopefully they take customers suggestions and use them!
