Coffee Shop No. 497 RoJo Coffee Co. Chesapeake, VA April 15, 2025 There is something quietly captivating about the glassware at a fabulous coffee shop; especially a cup that can invoke a feeling. I am not much of a girlie girl, but I sure did feel like one in RoJo’s! The moment the barista handed me my cortado I couldn’t help but feel the chic coziness of the shop. Sipping my cortado in bright natural light surrounded by pale pinks and sea foam greens accented in natural wood and black made me feel comfortable and welcomed. To top it off, the barista was very friendly and she made a tasty cortado. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Such a cute little shop. I've passed by several times but finally stopped in today and am so glad I did. The banana pudding overnight oats are absolutely amazing. Got the Finn coffee for the bf and the Lola for myself, both iced and both were delicious. I'll definitely be returning.

stopped in on a weekday & it was amazing. drove out of the way to try and will again! the girl who took my order was SO sweet!! got the Lola latte, and matcha latte both are 10/10. small inside but the vibes are so good:)

This charming little coffee shop offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with cute decorations. I enjoyed an iced chai latte, which had the perfect balance of spice and sweetness. I also tried the horchata French toast and it was delightful. The food and service were exemplary, with friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning to try more of their menu!

Wow, I can’t believe how good this place is, the nacho crunch burrito was amazing! And they have drip coffee with free refills. I decided to stop here for lunch on my window cleaning route and was not disappointed. If you are any type of foodie you will love this place. Great customer service, great prices, cozy little building, keep up the good work guys.

I stopped by for a breve cappuccino and it was delicious. I did not order food but I saw plenty south west bowls getting cooked on the grill and they looked amazing. I will definitely be back for one!

This is a very cute little cafe! We popped in for coffee to go, and while the coffee itself was good, they were using a small restaurant-style maker, so they didn't have quite enough to fill our cups. Also, they only offered individual packets of artificial creamers, which wasn't ideal for us. Great potential with a few changes.

I stopped by Rojo Coffee Co. to meet someone for a work chat and ended up having The Rory -- a lavender oat milk latte that was perfectly balanced and so comforting. Smooth espresso, just the right touch of floral, and oat milk made it extra cozy. The space is small but beautifully curated, with such a friendly and welcoming energy. I'd definitely recommend going early if you want to grab a seat -- it's the kind of spot you want to sit and stay awhile. I had a lovely conversation with (I believe) the owner, and her warmth just added to the experience. I didn't get a chance to try the food, but it smelled incredible -- enough to have me planning my next visit already. A local gem worth every sip!

Food was amazing, the service is even better, they are all very kind! The restaurant is small but very cute!

This place is very small, but there is some seating inside. It does get crowded during certain times of the morning, especially on the weekend when we went so just know that. I decided to try the coffee flight which was a little bit expensive but overall good. We also got a breakfast burrito which was also tasty. Everyone in the staff that we meant was super kind and helpful and the decor inside the place is super cute.

Loved the welcoming and warm ambiance this cafe offered! I ordered the Sugar Cookie Latte with Oatmilk and the Pear Gorgonzola Toast which was the perfect balance of salty and sweet. The latte was recommended as a crowd favorite and I understand why! The drink featured subtle notes of sweetness yet still provided the strong coffee flavor I strive for in drinks.

Loveee this place for breakfast and coffee! My favorite thing to order is the Southwest Bowl. Not to mention, everyone here is so nice and always greets me by name!

Varied selection of coffee, tea, juice plus some breakfast and snack type items on the menu. Warm vibe, friendly and helpful baristas. Very crisp, clean and inviting facade. Great place for a quick hangout, meet up.

Amazing hole in the wall coffee joint. The seasonal flavors were delicious. I had the banana pudding and it did not disappoint. Baristas were so sweet and all wearing pink to match the theme of the restaurant

Love what they did to the menu and the place! Small quant place with a great menu and good selection of coffees! Love the buzz and the service! I sat at the bar and got to watch Sydney cook my delicious tacos and hashbrowns. She actually asked for feedback because she was in training and wanted to make sure she was on track. Which I thought was pretty awesome! Nothing but great feedback. The tacos are great with eggs, sausage, pickled onions, salsa and a fresh jalapeno slice. The combo is great and it's not too spicy. I really liked the crispy shredded hashbrowns. I got the 2 tacos and the hashbrowns and I was able to gobble it all up without feeling too full. Got to meet the manager and she was great! Everyone that works there makes you feel right at home. If you haven't popped in yet! You're missing out! I'll be back with the family!

We were in Chesapeake this morning and my husband suggested I should find a coffee shop. I had seen Rojo Coffee on Yelp before so when it popped up that it was close by, I chose for us to check it out. Walking in we were met with a friendly staff and a very cute ambiance. I ordered the Lola (white mocha with cinnamon) and my husband got the moose (honey roasted peanut) I wasn't initially planning on getting food but their menu looked good so I chose to order the breakfast burrito and my husband got the breakfast tacos. Our coffee came out in cute cups (which I love) and shortly after we got our food. My coffee was perfectly balanced between the sweetness of the mocha and the warmness of the cinnamon. The burrito was delicious! I loved that the tortilla was crisp on the outside. Super flavorful filling with the salsa. My husband enjoyed his tacos as well (I didn't try them but the presentation was beautiful) Overall we had a great experience. We don't find ourselves in this area often but when we do, I'd definitely come back.

Just passing through from OBX. We stumbled into this place. Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Staff were real friendly. You won't be disappointed.

I called to see if I could put in an order to be picked up. It was actually 10 minutes before opening for the day so I was thankful they even picked up the phone. I ordered their Moose latte and an avocado toast with tomato. The whole team was there, the husband wife owner team and the general manager. They all were very friendly. The latte was a combination of peanut butter, double espresso, toasted marshmallow, honey, and almond milk. This was delish! The avocado toast was yummy. I would have like a dizzle of either a balsamic glaze or aioli of sort. I can't wait to come back and try other items on their menu.

This coffee joint has gotta be the one of the nicest hidden gems in the Chesapeake area. The little building is bustling with life and a clean relaxation inducing ambiance that really sat well with me, and made a Sunday morning coffee the highlight of my day. As for the workers, they boast a homey "I've known you my whole life" demeanor which in my experience is hard to come by in this area of Virginia. The coffee itself is great, it's not some pseudo starbucks slop which so many coffee joints seem to become. It's genuine coffee shop coffee and it makes that very clear of itself. If you're on a "made with love" coffee hunt this is the place to go hands down!

AMAZING!!! My sister and I got the matcha lattes with oat milk (not sweet) and split the breakfast burrito with everything added, and the horchata French toast. Everything came out quick and was delicious! Definitely recommend. We sat outside on a picnic tabled shaded under the trees and it was delightful. The employees were so kind and had a great energy. The price is worth the quality of the food and service.

This is my first time eating here with the new owners. My husband went to pick up breakfast. They took forever. But he loved his breakfast burrito! I had the horchata French toasts. They were good but they didn't taste like horchata at all. There was no fruit on top either. These french toasts were my fav before. I have to say that the biggest let down was the lavender lemonade! The previous owners would only use freshly squeezed juice. It was delicious! The new lavender lemonade tastes like grape soda and not in a good way.

Great food and coffee. Nice people too. Cute spot! I would stop here everytime. Watch out for potholes haha

This place makes me so happy! Lol Hands-down one of my fave breakfast/lunch spots in the 757. Super cute vibes, great staff, and amazing food! I frequent this spot often and typically order the breakfast tacos or the breakfast plate. For lunch, I reaaaally like their turkey apple bacon sandwich, but I replace honey mustard with their basil aioli.

The Moose is the absolute best. The food here is amazing!!!! The French toast mmmm The yogurt and granola mmmm heck everything is good!!!

RoJo Coffee Co serves craft coffee as their primary function but they are so much more than that. You can try one of their specialty or seasonal lattes or even make your own with all of their flavor options. They also have a full breakfast and lunch menu. Food is made to order & they do takeout/call-ahead as well. The building is small but there is two bars to sit at & ample outdoor seating. It was the perfect little spot to spend a morning catching up with friends! An added bonus is that it is family owned and operated by Great Bridge locals!

Stopped in this morning for two coffees and a breakfast burrito- everything was great. The shop is very bright and clean, seats maybe 12 with a bar facing the kitchen and another facing the windows, smart use of a small space and tons of natural light coming in. We had a custom latte and the moose- delicious and the burrito was prepared right in front of us and was also very good and a generous portion. The service was extremely friendly and efficient.

I've visited multiple times, both before and after the ownership change. More about the aesthetic & convenience than the food. The "aesthetic" is an incredibly small, but cutely decorated, shop that seats no more than 10 people elbow to elbow. Prepare to get your order to go. Staff is always very kind. Heads up on the potholes in the parking lot. The kitchen is an open view to patrons, where you can watch the cook fry up Great Value(Food Lion brand) items. Food is a bit overpriced for common grocery store products you could easily make at home. Coffee is good. Flavored lattes are great quality and fresh. Overall, nice for a quick caffeine treat on the go but certainly not a staple breakfast/lunch place.

Stopped by Rojo's for the first time on our way to Nags Head. This place is so cute with a warm and friendly staff. We had the JuJu overnight oats filled with delicious fruit, nuts & honey. The cold brew and raspberry lime energy drink were delicious too. So many unique food and drink options to choose from. We will definitely be stopping in each time we pass through the area. Highly recommend!!

Greeted with welcoming smile; appreciated how hostess remembered my wife from an earlier visit. We liked our French toast w/hashbrowns, waffle and southwest scramble. The scramble was our favorite with the waffle a very close second. We liked the decor which made the space feel larger than it is. Picnic tables were available.

A MUST TRY! This place was so good we came again the next day. We tried the breakfast tacos and hot honey ham sandwiches. Coffee was great, we had to try the flight. Ended up loving them all. We will be back again! The staff were super friendly, and the place was cute and trendy.

The breakfast burrito & horchata French toast were INCREDIBLE!!!! The matcha lattes were brought out quickly, followed by food a few minutes later. We enjoyed sitting on the picnic tables outside.

I absolutely love this place. Carly is so nice. I have a baby and she was super helpful and accommodating. Also made my pistachio white mocha chai super good and recommended a drink that my baby loved. Feel so welcomed. I'll definitely be a regular.

RELAX! Enjoy this place for all its goodness! It is way worth it, even if they are busy or even not busy but moving a little slow because they are still new. And please No offense to the previous owner the food was good but the new owners coffee is SOOOOOOO MUCH BETTA! I didnt think that the previous owner's staff was very friendly and the coffee was NOT good. Sorry, it was just burnt tasting and strange to me. But Rojo's coffee is VERY GOOD!! Like the best around maybe, FOR REAL, TRUST ME. I was shocked on how good this coffee tastes! They are accommodating and friendly too. Now they are NEW still so things move a little slow. Be patient because it all comes out delicious (the breakfast tacos are still my fave and my girl loves the waffles) but don't be discouraged by the wait time. They are still getting used to impatient locals, the amount of people that are coming through and back again because it's so good but for real people, be nice and relax. I appreciate good food and good service and this new Rojo Coffee spot is just right!! Keep it up y'all

Smaller coffee shop in Chesapeake. The staff was a little quiet and seemed to be looking at their phones throughout our stay. The coffee was good and the breakfast we had was great! We'll be back and hope to interact with the staff a little more.

Great coffee and very friendly staff. The place is really cute too! Slightly more of a trendy diner feel than a coffee shop feel, but I definitely recommend.

This cute little coffee/breakfast/lunch spot surprised me! It's a very small building with a cozy atmosphere. Super friendly staff. The service was quick and the food was tasty.

I went there yesterday and the staff was so friendly! I got there at 1;55 and they were so accommodating to take my order, despite they were closing at 2pm. The coffee was so good!!! I will be back!

I make a great waffle so when I saw some reviews about the food at ROJOCO, including their waffle, I decided to go up on my day off for breakfast. Today I ordered two eggs over medium, sausage and potatoes. Also a waffle with maple syrup. There were 2 other guys at the counter when I arrived but I still waited 15 minutes for my breakfast. When it arrived I was very disappointed, in fact I was surprised they actually served food that looked this bad. The grill is far too hot for breakfast food, these are not medium eggs and they are burnt, The sausage was overcooked, which made it very tough, and the potatoes were also dried out. The waffle was smaller than the griddle which means not enough batter was poured into the waffle iron. The syrup was cold as if it might have been taken out of the refrigerator. I enter this review to give an honest assessment of what I saw at my breakfast. I hope it's received openly, because this wasn't good and you won't have repeat customers which is the life blood of the service industry. There are little cups, like at Wendy's for catsup, which can be used to serve warm maple syrup. Turn down the grill, way too hot. Take the sausage off before it's overcooked and hold it in foil. I'd invite you over for a terrific vanilla waffle or cinnamon raisin french toast, but I'm sure you are too busy. Best of luck in the future.

Rojo's is one of the hidden Gems in Great Bridge! So exciting every time I go! Prices are a great value considered everything is made to order right in front of you! Still cheaper than a lot of the other local and chain coffee spots in the area and very very delicious! Employees are extremely nice and the owner was delightful and gave us a tour of the the dogs that the signature lattes are named after! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Really liked their Lotus energy drinks!! Their southwestern scramble was also very good, but I thought the portion was fairly small for the price.

Want to love this place and this is the first negative review I've ever left. On 11/21/23 it took 30 minutes for a Chai Tea Latte. Other people who were eating finished their entire meal before ever getting their coffee. It wasn't packed and there were empty seats. They really need someone on the register and someone else making drinks because she kept stopping in the middle of making drinks to take more orders. She also didn't seem to know where anything was and was dropping things. I have no idea if this was an off day, if she was just filling in or what was going on but I've never waited that long for a drink, almost walked out.

This place is simply amazing. They have the best breakfast burrito I have ever had in my life. Do not listen to Steve P. He obviously doesn't know what he's talking about.
