Excellent Japanese contemporary cuisine with a clear sense of authenticity. The flavors are well balanced, refined, and thoughtfully executed, showing a strong understanding of both technique and ingredients. The chefs are clearly well trained, and the quality is consistently high across the menu. Every dish feels polished yet approachable, making it enjoyable for both food lovers and casual diners. The atmosphere is vibrant and stylish, and the location is ideal for a relaxed but elevated dine-out experience. The staff are very attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, which adds a lot to the overall experience. Definitely a place I’m happy to come back to again.

I had been looking forward to experiencing Roka for a long time, and I’m so happy I finally did! Even though I was running late, the restaurant called ahead to reassure me that they would hold my table — such a thoughtful touch that really set the tone and felt like luxury-level service. The atmosphere was fantastic — warm, welcoming, and lively — and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We ordered the tuna tartare and spicy salmon sushi, both of which were absolutely delicious (the tartare was a real standout!). The lamb gyoza was also packed with flavor and incredibly tasty. We also tried the scallops, which were beautifully cooked and so flavorful, and the lamb chops — an absolute must-try — perfectly tender and wonderfully seasoned. However, the Korean chicken was a disappointment. It had a very strong garlic taste but lacked depth of flavor, and it wasn’t cooked properly. When the manager asked how our dinner was, we shared our honest feedback and mentioned that the chicken didn’t meet expectations and perhaps shouldn’t be on the menu. They immediately removed it from the bill without hesitation. That gesture of genuine hospitality and understanding truly impressed us — it showed the highest level of customer care and made the entire experience even more memorable. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience from start to finish, with excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and service that truly goes above and beyond. I can’t wait to come back again!

Lovely place, great atmosphere and the food and drinks to die for. It’s hard to write anything about places which are excellent. Yes, outragous prices, prepare to spend several hundreds of euros for 4 persons, but you have to experience this place. And do make your reservation early as it’s always fully booked.

We like this restaurant. The brunch is not overpriced like other Japanese restaurants in Dubai. They have good food, variety is great too and unlimited! Service was great and location with valet parking is an advantage. We had issues with flies on our table though and seems the staff doesn’t notice and didn’t offer a remedy. We have been visiting this place more than 5x and this was the first time we had this issue. Hope they will fix it. Other than that, we had great brunch!

Lovely dining experience at Roka. The atmosphere was vibrant and the food was exceptional. The baked potato is truly a show stopping dish, absolutely delicious and a must try! We had a lovely lunch at Roka Japanese Restaurant with my family, and it was such a great experience! The food was delicious we ordered a lot and enjoyed every bite. The quality and presentation were impressive. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Overall, it was a satisfying and memorable dining experience.
