This is the third time I visit this Roka and it’s not as good as it was last year.. also I really don’t know why no body smiles or even feel comfortable from the staff members!! Jyst a smile would make a huge change in the experience! Please SMILE guys! 🌟🍽️ Hospitality Like No Other — 10/10+ Experience! 🍽️🌟 This restaurant blew me away, not just with the food but with the hospitality — honestly, more than 10 out of 10! 🙌 They genuinely care about how you feel, check in to see if you’re happy with the food, and are always ready to help. This is the kind of warm, attentive service everyone looks for when dining out. If you’re planning a special celebration, definitely mention it when you book — they’ll go the extra mile to make it perfect (they did with me!). Food quality? Absolutely top-notch. Service? Flawless. Overall, this place deserves a full 10/10 and then some. I really enjoyed everything and highly recommend it! 🎉🍷

We visited this place hoping for a great dining experience, but it didn’t quite meet expectations. We were offered water upon sitting down, which we later found was added to the bill, it would have been helpful if this had been mentioned upfront. There was also a spider web hanging from the light on our table, which affected the overall atmosphere. On the positive side, the gyoza was good, and the prawn tempura was excellent, crispy, fresh, and well-prepared. The edamame, however, had more sea salt than expected, making it difficult to enjoy. The biggest letdown was the sushi. The eel sushi pieces were falling apart before we could eat them, and the tuna sushi didn’t quite resemble tuna in taste or appearance. For a restaurant focused on Japanese cuisine, we had higher expectations for the sushi. One highlight was our waiter, Mete, who was kind and attentive throughout our meal. His service made the experience better despite the other issues.

In a huge city like Istanbul where proper, well done Asian food is a rarity, Roka is definitely the best bet for quality and value for money! Don’t gamble your money & appetite somewhere else, trust me! 😄 Their set menu makes your job as a diner even easier! No need to overthink on which dishes to pick. And the ambience & service, definitely one of the best ones in Istanbul!

We had the seasonal tasting menu. It was good, food was tasty (even though mostly the dishes had the same taste since everywhere signature spice was lemongrass; don't get me wrong, not to complain, still very tasty, just would prefer more wide taste variety) the portions were huge. The signature cocktails were unusual, but not to our taste, not something I would recommend. The only disappointing thing in tasting menu was the dessert, nothing special. The service and atmosphere were good. However, the music was too loud for such a place, like in club, it was difficult to talk. The other disappointing thing was the price for water (you can see it in the photo attached). I don't mind to pay, however, putting such an extra price for just a bottle of water is ridiculous, on my opinion. This level of place could even bring it complimentary instead of robbing on such a basic item Anyways, to be fair overall it was an interesting and nice experience

A beautiful spot in Galataport with top-quality sushi and grills. Cocktails were balanced, not too sweet, and the pacing of dishes was perfect

The sashimi was fresh and juicy from the sea. The black cod fish with miso yuzu sauce on the side was perfect.
