I've been going here for years now for mainly to have the BEST HALO-HALO in town! Nothing compares to the rest in Solano County! Nostalgia of this dessert? Check! Combined with a modern twist? Check! And check out the main dishes too, they are all handled with the utmost care as if a close relative was cooking for you! Truly an immediate cure for being homesick!

Google
Good food with awesome lumpia sauce. We got the chicken adobo with pancit, the pork tocio with the garlic rice, the ube halaya and an order of vegetable lumpia. To start if you are coming here get an order of lumpia with the doing sauce, its a perfect mix of sweet and sour and is basically crack on lumpia. The chicken adobo was very tasty, cooked well and great seasoning. The pancit had a very sweet smell but tasted almost like home made. The tocio was like smokey pork jerky. The garlic rice was ok but it was definitely not with paying extra for. The halaya was interesting but had been a great addition to our oatmeal.

I've been wanting to try Roline's since I came across their IG posts and reels during and after the pandemic. On my way to Sacramento, I did not think twice to eat at Roline's for lunch. The ambiance is very welcoming and I love seeing their kitchen and prep room from a distance. There is enough seating for groups and a bar area against the window. Upon arrival, I immediately knew that I want to try their tocino plate. I opted to pair my tocino with steamed white rice. Within the same order, I also added a Classic Halo Halo. I only waited less than 10 minutes for my order to be brought to my seat. Their tocino is heavenly and a chef kiss! It is very authentic and identical to the Kapampangan Tocino (Pindang) and is perfectly marinated and tender. Chef Andre's tagline "wok, piping hot" truly lives up to its name and the quality and taste is above and beyond. Interestingly, Roline's offers variations of Halo Halo: not only with 3 different sizes but it can come with red beans or no beans, and you get to choose the ice cream flavor on top. I chose Buko Pandan Ice Cream on top of my classic Halo Halo. The lady was very accommodating to my request to bring my Halo Halo after I somewhat finish my tocino fix. I find it hella cute that they use fruity pebbles as a flavorful substitute for pinipig. Their Classic Halo Halo is packed with the most authentic ingredients and does not deviate from the traditional essence and flavor. I really like that they don't use too much milk (to prevent it from melting and overflowing). It also matches well with a scoop of Buko Pandan Ice Cream. For sure, I'll be back at Roline's on my next visit to Vacaville and or the Sacramento area! Ang sarap talaga dito

Google
Food is super fresh and made to order! Staff is friendly and nice. The food came within 15-20 min of ordering. The lechon was super crispy and the lechon sauce was tasty. You order and pay at the counter and then find a seat. The pork lumpia was super hot and fresh

Google
“There’s always room for improvement”. A spot to try specially for jar heads , leather necks. Piping hot! Rah! Need to organize chairs and tables to equally shared for dine -in customers. Tables are sticky and need sanitation. Plating is great 💯 Rice & fried rice is a bit hard and seems old. Turon is mostly wrap. Halo-halo is good.

Google
Home style Filipino food. Portions were ok. The Adobo needed more gravy, otherwise the meat is dry. The egg rolls were served hot and was crispy. The homemade potato chips were disappointing. It wasn't crisp. Halo halo and ice creams were good. Service was great and staff was friendly.

Google
I traveled from Sacramento to try this place for the first time. This place is pricey for the portion and taste. My wife and I ordered the Lechon Kawali Rice Plate, 8 Pork Lumpia, Classic Halo Halo - Teaser Size (Small), and a bottled water. The bottled water was ridiculously priced at 2.99 that costs .25 cents at Costco. The lumpia looks like it was from costco as well and costs $9.99 for 8 pieces, which for $2 more dollars, I could've had an entire pack from Costco. The Lechon was overcooked and just taste plain. The service was just ok, wasn't too much interaction to make a good judgement. I probably will not be coming back unfortunately. I was hoping that I would be impressed to want to make it a spot to escape.

Google
I was just passing through town. I don’t live in this town but I had a craving for some Filipino Food so I used Google Maps and I discovered this place. I will admit that the price is not too expensive but also not cheap. For me though, I ordered a dish called Pork Sinigang, a tangy and tasty soup with pork and vegetables. It was one of the BEST I have ever eaten in my life! The next time I pass through this place I will surely come back!

Yelp
This is a small sit-down restaurant with a casual vibe, located right next to Walmart. Service was super friendly, and my order took about 20 minutes to be ready. I got the pork sisig plate with an added egg cooked overeasy and steamed rice. The dish was made perfectly, the sisig served sizzling in a mini sized skillet as it should be for the best quality, and it was indeed delish! The menu offers other classic items including lechon kawali, pork tocino, and pork/veggie lumpia. Based on taste and my overall experience, I'd definitely return for more and recommend this spot if looking for some yummy filipino bites.

Yelp
Recently visited again for their infamous halo halo. Sadly the one we wanted was sold out by the time we arrived, so we opted for their original. I'm glad they added different sizes to their halo halo because sometimes the original size is too big for one. Service is always great, they are always so nice and welcoming!

Yelp
Roline's is always consistent. I like the different items that they offer. Food is flavorful and consistent in taste.

Yelp
I went in with some family for halo halo, and enjoyed what we got. There are a number of different flavors and toppings, and they all work well. If you have a sweet tooth, you can certainly get your fix here. I didn't try any of the savory foods, so I can't comment on those.

Yelp
Ever since moving to Vacaville over three years ago I have been on a hunt for good authentic Filipino food. I found my spot! This little gem was tucked away and when I walked in I was greeted with a huge smile by Kevyn. (I hope I spelled her name right) I ordered sigsig rice plate and it did not disappoint! Flavors are perfectly blended and delicious. You can tell it was made with love. It was fresh and hot! I will be returning again!

Yelp
Spent about $50 here. That included pork sinigang with rice, sisig with rice, calamansi juice, and halo halo without beans. The pork sisig was so worth it. But it reminded me more of lechon kawali with the size of the meat. Nonetheless, it was very crispy. Would definitely order again. The sinigang was pretty sour, but nice on a cold day. I wasn't too big of a fan of their version, as I don't like onions in my sinigang. I was slightly disappointed that the calamansi juice wasn't fresh. It came in a can, which I wasn't a big fan of. I wasn't able to enjoy the halo halo fresh because I came home and put it in the freezer and forgot about it... the ube ice cream was still good, everything else I didn't care for. However, I was reminded I'm not a big fan of halo halo to begin with. I just wanted my partner to try it. However, the looked very pretty. I would probably skip out on the drinks here and just order the main dishes. Definitely would come back here for my sisig fix again.

Yelp
Visiting the area and was craving for Filipino food! Went on Yelp and found Roline's. Already planned on coming here but the funny thing is, I follow Chef Andre and watch his cooking videos on IG/TikTok but did not realize that this is the restaurant that his mom owns until his video popped up on Sunday on IG and I put two and two together that I was within the area! Told my husband and my brother who were with me that we are going here! Decoration inside is modern but showcases the Filipino culture which has halo-halo art, some merch, the woven hats & tray (I wanted to take home lol)! Seating is very limited here but not too bad, it was us 3 adults, 1 kid and a toddler, seated at the "bar" area next to the windows! Just know this place is NOT a turu-turu joint. Food is made to order so there is a bit of a wait time but it makes up with the delicious authentic taste of your food and a big plus it comes out freshly warm! Items that we ordered - My brother got the Fried Chicken plate with Garlic Rice. My brother is very particular about chicken especially fried chicken from filipino restaurants and he said that he enjoyed this plate! The crisp on the chicken and the seasoning is perfect! Heck, my daughter is such a picky eater and she enjoyed this chicken too! My husband got: Sinigang Pork (baboy) plate with Garlic Rice. My husband actually ordered an extra garlic rice in which it did not disappoint! He raved about the sabaw of the his sinigang and the garlic rice! He loved the sour taste of the sabaw which what sinigang is! There is a side of tomatoes placed your plate not in the sinigang! I even tasted the sinigang and I loved it. I love that I don't get the after taste if taba from the sabaw. The vegetables were a good ratio with the meat. None was too much or too little! I got: Dinuguan Plate with white steamed rice and a personalized size of sisig. The sisig is BOMB! Legit this personalized size can be an ulam with rice and I'd be fine but I needed sabaw! The crunchiness of the sisig is perfect! This fulfills my palette that seeks texture, the citrus taste and aroma it makes it mouth watering! The diniguan, again the different textures I get of the meat in here and the sabaw it all comes together. Diniguan is my comfort food and this made it feel like I am at home. My brother also ordered dessert: Halo Halo & Leche Flan Halo-Halo has a different take and a different look! My favorite part is they use fruity pebbles for the crunch! It's vibrant and gives that "pop" look! The leche flan, it's delicious and a good end to finish a meal here! From being someone who was raised in San Diego that is surrounded by a huge population of Filipino food, I must say Roline's is on its own level of goodness! Now living in Riverside County where there is not much Filipino food and it's hard to find a good Filipino restaurant. I am glad I came across Roline's, we will definitely be visiting when we are in the area because I want to try the ube halaya, tocino wings and much more! Thank you for mapping out authentic Filipino dishes and fusion dishes which shows that it's not a bad thing to merge generations of recipes along with new recipes! I wish I lived closer to order party trays but this gives a reason to come up and visit!

Yelp
2 years later and we still stop here every time we're in Vacaville! We order the same things - Lechon kawali, sinigang, lumpia and of course the halo halo.
google avatar

Arielle A.

Yelp
This place is one of the few and far between Filipino spots in Vacaville. They sell authentic Filipino food as well as fusion dishes. One of my favorite things to get is the tocino wings--the sweet savoriness of the sauce paired with rice tastes so good every time I practically levitate in bliss. Their milkshakes are tasty as well; you choose an ice cream flavor and they blend it into a milkshake. My favorite flavors are pandan and ube. Pandan is pretty popular so it sells out fast! I'd recommend ordering online beforehand, especially if it's a to-go order, because wait times can vary depending if they're understaffed or not.

Yelp
Recently ordered pancit and lumpia party trays to go as the family was craving some Filipino comfort food. Can always depend on Roline's to be consistently good. Been going here for years-hope it sticks around for many years to come.

Yelp
Place is cozy and chic. Very simple decor, but the kitchen is the focal point of the restaurant. Probably built the restaurant around the kitchen. Food is top notch. Delicious and authentic Filipino. Oh and don't forget the halo-halo.. it's to die for! Staff are very nice and professional. Wish they would open a branch here in L.A. Highly recommend. Will be back when we visit Vacaville again.

Yelp
First things first: DO NOT GO HERE! There are better filipino restaurants elsewhere. Four stars on Yelp, ok we will try it out. Plus if you check in on Yelp, you get a tiny shot glass size of halo halo. We ordered pancit with sinigang and rice with adobo. We asked for the mini halo halo to come after we eat. The guy said ok. Then our food came out first, and instead of pancit we got rice!! So I told her and she took everything back and out again with pancit. Then as we started to eat, the halo halo came out. Like wth?! The halo halo was good but nothing amazing. The pancit tasted old and uncooked, even the sliced cabbages weren't even cooked. The sinigang was NASTY. It was sour and very thick like tomato soup. The adobo was very hard and bland. Actually all the food we had were very bland apart from the sour tomato soup. I don't know what these are but they're not filipino food. They're actually some of the WORST dishes I've ever had.

Yelp
Always a good time when eating at Rolines! Today, I took my dad for his first time and we ordered Pork Sinigang, Tocino Rice Plate, and Halo Halo. My go-to is typically the Tocino and Halo Halo so of course I ordered that. My dad ordered the Pork Sinigang and mentioned it was a bit sour to his liking. His Pork Sinigang also didn't have as much meat as he wanted. Overall, my Tocino plate was good as usual and of course the Halo Halo was delicious as well!
google avatar

Christopher J.

Yelp
Halo-Halo at this spot is a premium dessert worth trying for the first time, or if you've had halo-halo before, be ready for a serious upgrade. Carefully mix the ice cream with the rest of the ingredients until you can spoon out a nice bite. The flavor profile is excellent and consistent. We got the B Minus version, which has no beans. Ube ice cream was the ice cream choice, and it is usually part of a traditional recipe. Service is made-to-order so be prepared to wait. Patience will pay off. Ambiance is casual for the dine in experience. If you're getting this item to go, then bring a cooler with ice packs to keep the ice cream from melting. We will try the entrees for another visit.
google avatar

Clifton I.

Yelp
Rolines is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The staff was friendly, but got our order wrong. We upgraded to pancit, but were served rice. The staff apologized and corrected the issue. We also ordered the free halo halo for checking in on Yelp and asked them to bring the halo halo after our entrees. Unfortunately, they brought everything at once so my halo halo melted before I could finish my entree. I ordered the pork adobe. The portion size was fine, but it was the driest adobe I have ever had and was not flavorful. I will not return, and cannot recommend this place.

Yelp
This place is certainly unique! My girlfriend and I ate here for lunch not knowing what to expect. It is located in a strip mall. It is a modern restaurant with some Philippine decorations. It is a family owned business. The owner, Roline, is the owner and chef! Her son is also a chef. The filipino dishes we had (Dinuguan and Bicol Express) were very good! This place has a good menu selection and suppose to have one of the best Halo-halo dessert but we didn't get a chance to taste it because it was a cold day when we visited. But will definitely be back to try it! Come out and try this place, you will enjoy the food and hospitality!
google avatar

Angel A.

Yelp
Referred by my coworker so I gave it a try. I ordered their famous halo-halo, uberon, and fried chicken. I was shocked as the person making the meal doesn't look like a filipino to me because I used to see pinay moms cooking or serving in similar businesses. Love the food but not a fan of cereals in the ice cream. Price is a little bit up compared to my regulars. I still recommend this family business.

Yelp
I wanted to take my friend and his wife here because she is Filipino and missing the Philippines after leaving for about half a year. I was looking for places which would remind her of home. From the reviews, it seemed Roline's was a great dessert stop that would fit the bill. I only had halo halo once before at a church function. So this was my first in-store halo halo experience. I ordered the Classic with all the traditional fillings in the Teaser size. My friend and his wife ordered one in the Original size. My friend's wife said it was very good and authentic. I'll take her word for it. I just know that all the toppings were very fresh and everything blended well flavor wise. I was supposed to limit my sweets and watch my blood sugar level. But it was just too good to not down most of it. Please don't tell my Primary Care doc I totally surpassed my daily carb allowance. And hey it was just for a day... My friend's wife also said that the display shelves reminded her of the Philippines. I was really happy to hear that. Mission accomplished.
google avatar

Stephani E.

Yelp
It was my first time here and I was immediately warmly greeted and given a menu. I ordered an ube halo halo and pandan ice cream. It was delicious. I will definitely be returning.
google avatar

Donna F.

Yelp
I had been telling my friends from SSF that when they visit me, I'll take them here for dessert! They both enjoyed the Uberon and Classic Halo Halo...it hit the spot especially with the weather being almost 100 degrees yesterday. My go-to is always the Champorado Halo Halo...one day I will try something else...maybe. LOL Service was quick & a lot of people coming in were picking up orders, so it was a pretty busy afternoon.

Yelp
If you are looking for some delicious Filipino cuisine in Vacaville please give Roline's a try! From the moment we walked, the ambiance was welcoming! As we were welcomed at the door this was our first time, our cashier was so attentive and eager to answer any of our questions! We enjoyed the Lumpia, Ticino Wings & Pork Adobo Plate. The Lumpia was delicious, crispy and served hot, & what a bonus that the lumpia sauce is made in house. The wings were equally as delicious, as we enjoyed their sticky crispiness. And the food continued to impress us as we enjoyed the pork adobo with white steamed rice. Not pictured unfortunately but definitely y worth a try as it had melt in your mouth pork pieces topped with some pickled red onion. A spot that has been around for 17 years and still serving the community with delicious Filipino cuisine, go try out Roline's Uniquely Filipino Restaurant!
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
The chicken adobo was my favorite, very tender but more sweet than I'm used to. Nice variety. The lech on was too fried/hard for me. The pancit and fried chicken were okay. I'm not a Filipino food expert but worth a try.
google avatar

Kat J.

Yelp
I was influenced after watching Tik Toks of their Chef Andre Casper cooking Filipino Food. He makes it look so easy! We were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. Unfortunately, they did not have our favorites; Kare Kare or Sisig that day which was disappointing. We settled for Bicol Express, Dinuguan and Chicarrones. The chicarrones were fatty, crispy and delicious, but you definitely can't eat a lot because it's so rich. The dinuguan and bicol express were just like my mama use to make. It was very good. We also had the ube turon, which was amazing! I will definitely make that and claim it as my own. If you are in the Vacaville area and want authentic Filipino Food, be influenced like me and give Roline's a try.
google avatar

Ellie Duong A.

Yelp
They were out of lechon but the pork sisig was super good. Halo halo was the best. Service and ambiance was great, homey

Yelp
Was craving some lumpia, so I decided to try Rolines what a waste of money. $10.99 for 8 pieces of lumpia, thought not bad price! Hand-made, I hoped .I love lumpia. I make them here at home fresh i was being lazy. So I opened up box there ly 8 tiny lumpia I said sure don't look like their pic on web site.so I'm like let's give it a try . Right away I noticed they were not hand made I ate a bite and what a nasty taste like their oil has not been changed in a long time had a burnt oil taste .it was still frozen inside . Frozen lumpia bought by the box. You can go to county squre market and buy them there, buy the bag and there even better for 15.00 for 30 pieces. That comes to 0.5 cents per lumpia x 8= .40 cents of burnt lumpia for 10.99 do the math folks . The only thing that saved them was the sweet chile sauce. will never go there again.they are killing it. Did take out

Yelp
The customer service is A1 out here. I came here originally with my friend to get halo halo and saw the food was tempting so I came back with another friend to try the actual full meals. It's a nice place to come sit, catch up with a friend. I had the lechon and the halo halo with pandan and ube ice cream and they are consistent on their halo halos. They used to have more flavors but it seems like they are changing the menu so there's less available for now. The food was plated very beautifully and when there was an item that ran out they actually accommodated for that pretty well with our shirley temples so I appreciated that. I feel like the food is a good value for the price and there's a lot of diverse menu items that are harder to find the same quality and diversity in other restaurants. The portions are generous and I think they're meant to split, me and my friends were just piggies who wanted to try more stuff (and that works out in a way)!~ You can feel the passion in the quality, food and service. They have a clean bathroom too in the back if you need it! All in all, I'm curious about the fish on their menu so it's definitely somewhere I'll go back to soon! May the odds ever be in your flavor, Marilyn N.

Yelp
Would definitely recommend Roline's for filipino food. It's not a steam table, they cook the food to order. Our go to orders are the pork sinigang plate, pork lumpia, sisig with garlic rice, and the bangus plate with garlic rice.
google avatar

Diab P.

Yelp
One of the best Filipino restaurants I've visited. The food tastes homemade and comforting. The portions are appropriate. Will be coming back for more

Chadie G.

Yelp
After craves for halo halo, finally made it to Rolines!!!!!! I felt shorted not getting the Ube ice cream or the cookie. But the service was excellent and still got options from the other ice cream flavors. Ample seating for large or smaller groups. Next time I'm in the area will try the other food options. They have a decent menu.
google avatar

Billy M.

Yelp
I crave Halo Halo once in a while but to lazy to make my own The choices are limited but I'd have to say Roline's fills that craving for me. My fav is their classic and it is very good. They also have a ton of variations available (see menu) done as many Filipino dishes like Champerado. I'd love to sample more versions. I won't review the food as I've not personally sampled. However I've had a few friends who frequent this place and say it's equally good. The service is always friendly and patient as there are so many options. The drinks do take some time as they shave the ice and make each one to order. Definitely worth the wait. The eating area is cafe style with open kitchen concept. I'd say they can seat maybe 10-15 people at most. Just enough seats to gobble down your Halo Halo and jet! Next time I go back I will try the food. Can't wait!!!

Yelp
S E R V I C E: The cashier was very helpful. My family and I walked in clueless and he helped us out a lot haha. The menus seemed a little confusing, but we figured it out eventually! You can order take out, dine in, and they even have catering services, which is what we came for. We had to taste their halo halo if we wanted a halo halo bar for my bridal shower! ;) H A LO H A L O: They have three sizes, and their classic halo halo. You can personalize it any way you want - like if you want less beans, they will be light on the beans for you! Which I thought was nice. They also have no traditional halo halos, and I was intrigued. I ordered their Polvoron halo halo and added caramel ice cream. I was a little disappointed because it had a lot of ice and the polvoron was powder/crumbs instead of the actual cookie. Everyone else's classic halo halos tasted amazing! O V E R A L L: Definitely going to get the classic halo halo next time, and would love others to experience it too!
google avatar

Angelica C.

Yelp
Stopped by Roline's and only tried their halo-halo with ube ice cream, and it was a refreshing treat! I opted out of the beans and jackfruit since I'm not a big fan, but it was still delicious and perfectly sweet. The ube ice cream added a great creamy texture. Will definitely come back for more! The staff was friendly and quick! If you buy the regular-sized halo-halo, you get free shaved ice --choose from fun flavors like cherry, watermelon, blue raspberry, and cotton candy. Summer promo only!
google avatar

Eric T.

Yelp
We were from out of town passing through. We found Roline's and decided to give it a try. They said they closed at 7pm and we got there at 6:25. After we had already placed the order, we were informed that they were only taking take out orders at that time. I wish they would have told me that prior to me ordering because I ended up having to eat in the car. If I would have known, I wouldn't have placed the order. Since it was more than a half an hour until close and tables were still set up, I didn't think there would be an issue. I suggest they let people know when take out is the only option.

Yelp
1st time here. Had the sinigang and tocino - great stuff! Tocino was well cooked and wrll seasoned. The sinigang was fresh and had pucker power (just as pinoys like it) Awesome service from the beautiful proprietor. We shall return for the Halo Halo! Ya'll gotta try it - everything is cooked to order yet speedy.
google avatar

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
We tried the lumpia (good although we didn't like the dipping sauce), fried chicken (good crunch, absolutely bland - desperately needs some seasoning in that breading), chicken adobo (best thing we had although it was a bit sweet, which is not the flavor profile I'm used to on this dish), and pancit (very disappointing. Overwhelming soy sauce taste and not much else). I was really excited because I love Filipino food, but I was left disappointed.

Yelp
Overpriced. Food not that good. Did I say overpriced? You are warned. Just drive down to suisun and get your moneys worth. This place ain't good.

Marianne S.

Yelp
I really only come here for halo-halo. It's good, but pricey. Credit where credit is due, though; the ingredients are good, and they add flan, which is nice. Service is decent, too. So why the three star review? It's pretty much because they don't accept phone orders. I'm pretty sure the quote from the bank on their website means they should take care not to take card numbers over phone, not just refuse to take phone orders altogether. It's very inconvenient, especially since the smallest halo-halo size is listed on their menu in person, but not online. This is probably the only thing that consistently dissuades me from getting dessert from here. So essentially, the halo-halo is great, but if a different place popped up that made an equally-as-good halo-halo, I'd probably go there instead. But luckily for them, there's still no competition, so Roline's and their (unlisted teaser size) halo-halo it is.

Yelp
Not worth $80 for stale pansit, mediocre food and tiny portion. Their just ripping people off with their small portion of food and subpar service. The store looks unorganized and has no AC Their halo halo is way overprice too $15! for 16oz.

Yelp
Went here a long time ago, so I don't know if it has improved. The food is just so-so. Nothing memorable. There are better Filipino food places around the area. I got excited about their halo-halo bar, but it was a let down. All the ingredients are the jarred sweet stuff from the supermarket. I think if you're going to have a halo-halo bar, you should make all the ingredients (except for the ice cream, milk, ice and sugar) in house from scratch. It's easy enough to make the sweetened bananas, white beans, munggo beans, garbanzos, jackfruit, sweet potato and coconut. Also the Leche flan, ube jam and tapioca are not hard to make in batches. It was very expensive too! If the ingredients are made in-house instead of the jarred stuff, they'd be able to keep the prices low and reasonable. I will update this review when I'm in the area and give them a second chance.

Yelp
Ok so I haven't tried their actual food. But their halo halo is legit. My brother & his wife had them cater a halo halo bar for my nephew's birthday & all I could say was...yesssssss! Halo halo all over the place! I don't live in town but when I'm in the area I do try to stop by whenever I'm craving halo halo. I've tried a few of their twists on halo halo but you can't beat the original. A bit pricey but I don't mind supporting local restaurants, especially a good one that shares my culture.

Yelp
I have used their catering services and I was really happy with it. The food was great, cause as soon as the pancit and lumpia went out, it was gone. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There was only 1 time one of the girls in front looked unhappy. But the restaurant that day was extremely hot and she was working alone at the front, and handled walk-ins and pick-up. Besides that though, I recommend Roline's if you're wanting specific filipino food. The menu is smaller than most I've been to, but it covers a few of the popular dishes

Yelp
Am I Filipino, yes, do I always cook Filipino food, no. Luckily Roline's is nearby. That garlic rice is delicious alone, but add some Tocino...and you are winning!! We've catered from here before- the sisig is on point. Wish they had it on their holiday menu because I would definitely put an order in for our family gatherings. I'll come back in the spring/summer for some sweet treats. When it gets to the 90s and 100s, I'm sure some halo halo would be great. Check out Roline's- there are daily specials with a variety of items. Their sandwiches sound good, I'll come back soon and update my review. They are always nice and welcoming here which I really like.

Yelp
I'll give it a two starts because of the effort they are trying to put in to get Filipino food out there....however, they fall for the same pitfalls every Filipino restaurant in the bay fall into. Trust me, I tried hard to like every Filipino place, as a chef I want to support them and help them grow however time and again I get reminded as to why Filipino food is not quite there yet. 1. PRICE: both these dishes are above the $15 price range for ONE entree and a garlic rice. Just inexcusable when we have similar food (ie: Vietnamese com tam, Chinese rice plates) that cost less and gives you much more. The value just isn't there, who in this world would want to play an easy $40 just two entrees with rice? 2.QUALITY: Filipino food is known best for using cheap cuts of meat, cooking then for a long time (braising or boiling) then making them as savory as possible. To put it simply, beefsteak used sirloin and was cooked to oblivion, it was literally jerky. It also had very few pieces of red onions, which defines the dish and also....no fried potatoes of any kind. Absurd beefsteak is a Filipino version of a Peruvian lomo saltado which with all the bells and whistles usually cost $20 this one was $18. The dinuguan was filled with big pieces of fat from what seems to be a combo of pork shoulder and butt. It was sour beyond belief , didn't have a piece of chili for the kick and the green, sauce was thin...almost like it didn't have enough blood there to thicken it and worst of all ...meat was tough. Just abhorrent. 3 SERVICE: I ordered to go prior to arriving as I knew they come in those cute brown to go boxes, it was taped on a paper bag that had their socials in it (in which they over focus for obvious reasons) I asked nicely if it had utensils. Lady said yes....I opened it and there was none. Asked for utensils from the same lady, no apology no nothing as if that whole conversation never happened a second ago. The verdict This social media hype machine ain't worth the hype, I know they're all over tiktok and appear in a lot of Filipino festivals , as much as I want to support it, I just can't with what's being offered. I left the place hungrier and $40 lighter in the bank account. I recommend to try it atleast once for your own verdict and then you can find out for yourself if it's your jam.

Yelp
$7.99 for this order of pancit that could feed a small child. Unbelievable. I will make the drive to 3 J's in Suisun next time for normal portions at a fair price.
