First time coming the wife and kids loved the ice cream. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and the building looked amazing. I’m lactose intolerant and they have a milk free base(which I completely ignored because I always do) will definitely come back again!

Roll shack was an amazing place to eat ice cream. I liked the atmosphere, and the employees were very nice. The ice cream, was amazing. It tasted fresh, and is very unique. I love watching them prepare the ice cream on the negative degree griddle. However, it only gets four stars because of the processing fee on the credit card. I actually have no problem paying a processing fee on a credit card, but there needs to be a sign, or the employee needs to let you know that pain in an alternative way will not charge a processing fee. Next time I will know to bring cash.

Me and my husband used to love this place however the past two times we have been there the workers are on the phone and joking around with each other. We stood there for about 5 minutes before ever even being greeted. My husband got the Tito and the quality just isn’t there lie it used to be. Very disappointing.

Absolutely loved this place! Brought my children for a cool treat, and we all had a great time. The whole experience is well worth it. Friendly staff, great food, and a nice atmosphere as well. We have actually been to two locations there in Abilene, and both were awesome!

We visited both locations on different days and I have to say the difference was night and day between staff and food prep. No hate to this location’s staff but they seemed absolutely miserable about working there. No friendliness, no smiles, nothing. Also, the amount of brownies I had in mine seems kind of skimpy for the price we paid. Barely had any! Fortunately the taste was pretty similar at both locations and we would definitely patron the downtown location again when in town.
