RollerCade Detroit

I’ve only been to the Rollercade a few times in my life, but each visit has been a positive experience. While I don’t skate myself, I’ve found it to be a fun, family-friendly spot that’s perfect for kids and ideal for hosting special occasions. What makes it even better is that it’s right in my neighborhood—such a gem to have nearby! I truly admire how it has remained a thriving part of the community over the years. It’s wonderful to see a place like this continue to bring joy across generations.

My students and I came here on a field trip. The staff were so nice and helpful. They took the time to teach all the students how to skate, played whatever music they wanted, and remained present and helpful the entire time. The whole 3 hours we were here they were actively helping my students. The students enjoyed the pizza and snacks as well.

Great place! There was music, disco and a great vibe! The owner is a great host and a leader in the community. You can rent the whole place for a special event. Fun fact: It is the oldest black owned roller rink in Detroit!!

We hosted an office event at Rollercade Sunday afternoon and Kyle, the Owner, was super awesome and easy to work with to make this event happen! Super clean facility, friendly staff, and great for our 40 guests! Would recommend this venue to anyone and look forward to booking another event here in the future!

Was a very fun event for my daughter's birthday celebration. I was very grateful for all the help they did to make it easier for the host. We had a glow party that provided glow sticks, back drop, food ( pizza could be better) drinks, balloons, ice cream, plates, basically everything you would need and her many shout outs from the dj that made her feel special. It was also nice to have the extra help on the floor to help those that fell. I would love to see this place get upgraded since it's been there for so long and does a great job being there and doing for the kids around neighborhood.

Came for the beginners lessons on a Saturday with my wife and 5&6 year old girls. It was wonderful! The owner and staff were nice to deal with. Mia and another lady were so helpful for our girls, taking the time to help. It was like having personal trainers there for them! We drove over an hour to get there and would happily do it again! Wonderful experience!
