I have been here a few times for their adult skating lessons, and the staff is so kind and supportive to new students. I felt so supported every time and I was like a baby deer on skates. It is a really great environment to learn something new and I definitely recommend that you check them out.

I’ve only been to the Rollercade a few times in my life, but each visit has been a positive experience. While I don’t skate myself, I’ve found it to be a fun, family-friendly spot that’s perfect for kids and ideal for hosting special occasions. What makes it even better is that it’s right in my neighborhood—such a gem to have nearby! I truly admire how it has remained a thriving part of the community over the years. It’s wonderful to see a place like this continue to bring joy across generations.

My students and I came here on a field trip. The staff were so nice and helpful. They took the time to teach all the students how to skate, played whatever music they wanted, and remained present and helpful the entire time. The whole 3 hours we were here they were actively helping my students. The students enjoyed the pizza and snacks as well.

Great place! There was music, disco and a great vibe! The owner is a great host and a leader in the community. You can rent the whole place for a special event. Fun fact: It is the oldest black owned roller rink in Detroit!!

We hosted an office event at Rollercade Sunday afternoon and Kyle, the Owner, was super awesome and easy to work with to make this event happen! Super clean facility, friendly staff, and great for our 40 guests! Would recommend this venue to anyone and look forward to booking another event here in the future!

Was a very fun event for my daughter's birthday celebration. I was very grateful for all the help they did to make it easier for the host. We had a glow party that provided glow sticks, back drop, food ( pizza could be better) drinks, balloons, ice cream, plates, basically everything you would need and her many shout outs from the dj that made her feel special. It was also nice to have the extra help on the floor to help those that fell. I would love to see this place get upgraded since it's been there for so long and does a great job being there and doing for the kids around neighborhood.

Came for the beginners lessons on a Saturday with my wife and 5&6 year old girls. It was wonderful! The owner and staff were nice to deal with. Mia and another lady were so helpful for our girls, taking the time to help. It was like having personal trainers there for them! We drove over an hour to get there and would happily do it again! Wonderful experience!

Had my daughter's birthday party here. They only do private rental as the space is small. Very clean, accommodating, and staff was attentive and polite. They did the decorating on our theme, food and cake table (we brought cake), played whatever music we wanted, and also had walkers for newbies. The kids had a blast!!!! Would recommend!!

It is a great family oriented establishment. It has been in business for a long time. They are committed to providing a skating environment and a great experience for all in the surrounding areas.

Nice place. I'm from Texas and I travel all over the us. I only attended a family session but it was a solid time.

What a wonderful Rink!! Absolutely loved Kyle who was so Amazing. Hosted a joint Birthday Party with my Grand Twins and Everything was perfect. I appreciate the attentiveness and all the services provided with the party. Really nice Skate floor and the Host was so accommodating

I threw a birthday party here and it was amazing! We had access to the whole rink on a weekend (which no other skating rink really offers), the booking process was seamless, and the whole party was so much fun from beginning to end. Kyle was super cool and made sure your day ran smoothly. Admission, skate rentals, and food/drink was included with the rental. Highly recommend for your next event!!!

The vibes here at this rink 10/10 ! Black family owned business and the staff is amazing! Great food (Turntable is my favorite) and great selection of music!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. What the lack in Glam the make up for with customer service! My niece had her birthday party here and they did a wonderful job. They had enough trainer skates for all of the kids in attendance. They personalized the invitations for us. They have a good presences online and they are super friendly. The adult skates were new and CLEAN...thank you for that. They had each part of the party planned out so there was never a dull moment. The kids had a blast. The rink could benefit from some renovation. The skating rink is old and you can tell. A new paint job and replacing some of the older things would breath new life into the rink. The skating rink is a part of the community and I really like the customer service there. The staff were all attentive to the kids and skilled enough on skates to help. I can not say enough good things about them. The only thing keeping them from five stars is how run down the building was in some cases. They need to upgrade. Other than that it wonderful and I would recommend for sure.

Nice family owned skating rink. They have beginner classes with assistance. I grow up skating their and grateful for it. Granddaughter getting her lessons now.

The rink is as big as my basement. Seriously go in the basement and skate around in a circle and you will feel like you are at this place. If you are a kid cool that is for you but not really for adults. It was much funnier when I was a young lad.

This place is great for kids. Its pretty small but its family owned n I've been going their since I was a child and so did my mom. Now my kids go! And they hav skating lessons frm 12-2

Do not patronize this business. Literally hours before the event, they cancelled on our school skating party and handled the situation very unprofessionally and unethically. Kyle Gray let a personal issue, a so called theft of his vehicle that happened supposedly days before, interfere with a business commitment. On top of the fact that they were gonna over charge for their services.
