Rollie's Frozen Custard

No adult at the store, it was kids leading kids. The chick with the long braids used the knife to select items on the computer screen then used the same knife to cut donuts. It was nasty. The whole counter had dirty towels and trash. No hair nets, the counter is dirty. Not a fan if this place but the young white guy was polite and greeted us at the door .

Tucked away in a strip center, this location makes delicious frozen custards. They have a huge selection of toppings. The staff are friendly and the store is very clean. Enjoy & Bon Appetit! 😋😋😋 ps. Highly recommend the "Lonestar" Sundae. Absolutely delicious! 😋😋😋

Best custard I've ever had! This is my favorite frozen dessert spot. I go here regularly with my family and friends and they always have fun new flavors to try. The best part is the customer service though, all of the workers are very friendly and will sit there and help you find exactly what you want! Go here for a great frozen treat!

I am OBSESSED with Rollie's! I have been a customer since the day they opened, and I haven't looked back. They are always trying out new flavors, they have pints in case you want to have more at your home and I love their toppings. The family who run this is SO friendly. I love them and chatting with them every time I come in. I even hired them to bring their food truck to a party I was throwing and they accommodated me by making the vanilla custard green in the theme of the party. Thank you so much for all that you do. You made all out guests feel special!

This family run business is AMAZING!!! Since the first time my dog and I came here I felt like part of the family. We drive from the Katy, Tx area every Saturday and it’s worth the drive. We had a great experience at Rollies! The custard is decadently delicious. I have had the Vanilla, Strawberry and strawberry shortcake sundae and all were great. The servers have a good attitude and greet you with a smile. They even offer samples of the daily flavors.

Add some toppings. Brownies. Strawberries. Pecans. Almonds. Hot chocolate. Caramel. So many options. I got a the chocolate frozen custard with brownie bites and strawberries. Such a nice midafternoon workweek treat.

Can't go wrong with custard. Kept here to redeem my free small custard. Honestly a small is just enough. I added caramel amd parline pecans. Very yummy

Cute spot near our friend's home. Was not really impressed by the custard, but also I may have ordered wrong and should have added some toppings. Would have gotten a 3 star but out of our 4 orders the simplest one (a plain small chocolate custard) they forgot. They served out probably 6 or so custards until I was able to go up to let them know. I hope to come back to visit and grab a pie, those sounds amazing and give another redemption review.

I had a recent mind blowing encounter with some custard in West Texas and have been craving something similar since. After lunch nearby for Father's Day with the fam, we decided to come here for some dessert. This is a locally owned business located in a strip center in West Pearland. Since we had a larger party with us, we called ahead to make sure they had indoor seating. Majority of the restaurant is work space with small area for customers. The seating consisted of a few benches inside. There was some outside benches a little further down from the Rollie's, but I'm not sure if it's shared with them or not. We were the only people inside when it was our turn to order. There were two employees working that looked less than enthused to be there. Any questions we had were directed to the menu. Customer service goes a long way in my book, and it was lacking that day. We ordered a variety of different things and they all came out staggered which was to be expected. I ordered the hot fudge brownie sundae for myself with chocolate custard. It looked promising at first glance. I went in on the brownie first and it was on the dry side and way to crumbly, but tasted fine. The custard at first was nice and smooth as expected, but then I would get random bites of ice. It kind of threw off the velvety consistency that I love with custard. I also noticed the absence of chopped peanuts that was listed as a topping. I was half way in already so I let it slide. No other complaints on the other items ordered. Overall, my sweet tooth was satisfied, but between the service and not getting my full order, I'm not sure I would rush back anytime soon. I'm guessing it was just an off day and they have alot more to offer.

We took our kids to Rollie's Frozen Custard on a whim one evening. I really love supporting small local businesses, so Im glad we found Rollie's. I recently found out that they are actually really struggling and are about one bad month away from closing their doors. Their hours are currently limited because of that, they're closed Mon, Tues, Weds, and Thurs for the time being. The menu is pretty big with lots of frozen custard treats to pick from. My son got a Mega root beer float and declared it was the best he has ever had. They use our favorite A&W root beer, which is the best out there. My middle daughter got the chocolate custard in a waffle bowl with chocolate sprinkles. She is all about the chocolate and is a big critic on it too. She says it was definitely top 3 for her and she's already talking about wanting to go back. Opposite of that is my youngest daughters love for Vanilla. She got a small cup of vanilla frozen custard and loved every last spoonful of it. All three of them want to come back to Rollie's already, we're just waiting for them to be open this weekend. It's a decent sized shop with a few seating options inside. There are also a couple of benches outside too. The location isnt the greatest, however, we will be back for sure.

I had Rollie's Frozen Custard for the first time at work and they were amazing!! They catered to each of our clinics around Houston and even when our location did not allow for their icecream truck to park out front, they found a way to bring the set up to us inside our break room. Their dessert options were delicious, less calories than regular icecream and everyone really enjoyed their service. If you need a new dessert place to try, do not skip over this company. 10/10 recommend

Black owned ice cream business in Pearland. Certain flavors based on the day of the week. My kids got what was on the menu for the day and I ordered the pineapple shake. My kids enjoyed as usually. The shake could had been more creamier. The staff and work on being more friendlier

The custard was delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The place was clean. What more could you want? Will definitely be coming back for their happy hour to sample some more flavors

Rollie's is right behind my house and I am not really an ice cream/frozen yogurt/custard person so it is hard for me to make a stop in for a place like this. However, I did see the SOS post when they were at risk of closing and I am glad we went in. Any option we chose was soooo good. We will be back!

I saw them on the news and figured I'd come back. I have been twice but a long time ago. This time I had the turtle custard and it was delicious. It was PACKED with pecans and a good amount of caramel. The only down side to my order was the custard was melting faster than I like, but that might be due to the hot fudge. The line was pretty long but I think that was due to the news once again. I will come back when in need of a serious sweet tooth.

This was my first time trying and OMG so good. I was impressed. The flavors were delicious. The toppings were so fresh and tasty. I wish they had a location by me. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area !

This review is for the Dole Whip. They not only have frozen custard (they offer different flavors every day, check their calendar on social media), but also different flavors for the Dole Whip, if you are dairy free. We tried pineapple and mango, both are great and refreshing. Price is reasonable, and service is friendly and fast.

This spot was my first time ever having frozen custard and boy nothing about my experience disappointed! I tried the butter pecan, vanilla, chocolate, and hot cookie. Great custard spot, something different thank the rest. It's very small and no seating with long lines. Basically order inside and go sit in your car to eat.

It was hot outside. I was stuffed from eating too much savory food at the Grub Park. On the way out, I decided to grab a small plain vanilla custard from their truck. If your vanilla isn't good, I don't even want to try the others. As they passed me the cold cup, the sun immediately started to melt it. I licked my hands getting the first taste of this sweet vanilla treat. It was good: not as good as the custard I loved from my Midwest childhood but good. I'll try them again but next time with mix-ins

Had been driving past this dessert place since a long time and today finally decided to step in. Its as good as an icecream can get....well, its not ice cream, its frozen custard ," the way your grandma made it" ! They have four flavors every day of which Vanilla and Chocolate are the classics and are available all the time. Todays special was Butter brickle, and Butter Pecan. As much as I wanted to dig in, it is important to atleast try not to get carried away...so we got the half and half of the butter brickle and chocolate. Yumm...the girl placed the chocolate at the bottom and the brickle on top so we had to dig all the way through and that made it a mini sunday of sorts. It was rich, creamy and so unstoppable, talk about focussed attention! Its a family owned business and their dedication to taste was visible.They celebrate their 1st year anniversary next month. The ice cream ...oops frozen custard came with two temperature changing spoons - that was Fun. Will definitely stop by again.

It's just so freaking good. I've been to the actual store as well as gotten delivery (I was being lazy and REALLY wanted this lol). All the employees have been nice when I've been there and they don't mind explaining certain items. The delivery is cute because they write a "thank you (your name) on the bag and it's truly packed with care. I love supporting Black-owned businesses and this one does NOT disappoint!

A local friend swore by their frozen custard, especially after we'd driven around Pearland trying (without success) to find a place that did ice cream with frozen nitrogen. I was definitely willing to try the frozen custard, but the mention of Dole Whip on the menu captured my imagination. The friendly team member told me that I could have both flavors (orange and pineapple) of Dole Whip swirled if I couldn't decide between the two. While I've never been to Disneyland, the combined orange pineapple Dole Whip fruity soft serve was certainly a culinary vacation. If I'm in this area again, I know exactly where to go for dessert.

Ever since Coronavirus I've understood the importance of supporting your local businesses around the area rather than big corporate chains. That said, after trying this place, see ya Marble Slab and Cold Stone! This local, family-owned shop is definitely my new hot spot for ice cream! When I went in I was greeted by the employees and was told if I had any questions that they'd be happy to help. I got to the line and the owner- I presume- happily helped guide me through the entire menu (as there is a whole lot of choices to choose from). It didn't take long to get the food at all! I didn't really know what to expect from frozen custard cause I haven't tried it before. But when I ate it, it far exceeded my expectations! If you haven't tried any form of frozen custard whatsoever, it's like a more thick, creamy, dense version of your typical run of the mill ice cream. The strawberry topping isn't overpoweringly sweet and the cheesecake bites taste fresh compared to the stale flavor I get from marble slab or cold stone. Plus, this seems to melt slower than other forms of ice cream! I'll be back, next time with more people! I definitely encourage anyone who reads this post to go and try this local place out instead of those corporate chains and to go venture out into other locally owned restaurants!

Okay let me start by saying I'm not a ice cream person like that. I mean I crave ice cream a couple times a year. I like it but im not a ice cream enthusiasts like some of my friends. I will say this place was really good. The service was nice and they had some good options for sundaes. The ice cream is a little thicker and creamier then places like Dairy Queen so it tastes more homemade. I will say its a little more expensive then a commercial ice cream place but thats to be expected. I would recommend and I would go again during my yearly ice cream cravings

My first time having custard and I must say that IT. WAS. GOOD! They welcomed me with a cheery hello and asked if this was my first time. Of course I said yes and they asked if I wanted to sample their custards before ordering......niiiiiice. I sampled the pina coloda, GOOD and the vanilla. GOOD. When I finally saw that the menu had caramel pecan custard.....OoooWe! BINGO! I watched them take their time making mine as if they were making it for themselves. Caramel drizzled all on and around the cup, custard placed ever so lovingly inside, and they sprinkled pecans on top until the pecans angels said stop. It was just the right amount to tickle your fancy. I was very pleased. I will be back.

Love Rollie's! Family owned - black owned - local peeps AND so yummy. But for real, they are a hard working family providing a quality product. I love that the Rollie Mobile is out in neighborhoods and when they tag team with a food truck like nacho nacho to provide me a one stop dinner and dessert stop. This is the custard pie I ordered for Father's Day. My husband is a cold stone ice cream cake kind of guy but I want to continue to support local owned entrepreneurs.

I can't say enough good things about Rollie's. I've been telling everyone so I guess a Yelp review will make it official. First off, it's wayyyy too close to my house. That could be considered a pro or con depending on if I'm sticking to my diet. They make the yummiest custard I've ever tasted. Even pints to take home (shoutout to peppermint bark!) Parking is plentiful, fun music playing inside, super friendly staff who will answer all your questions and let you try before you buy, and photo booth props while you wait (which isn't long because they are so quick) I love the snickers parfait personally. Vanilla custarf, peanuts, chocolate, caramel, a fun-sized snickers - maybe something else? Whatever it is... it is delicious and I devour most of it before exiting the parking lot. I highly recommend you support this business and get your custard on... today! You deserve it!

Stopped by Rollie's for a nice treat. I wanted something simple so I chose Vanilla flavored. The more I ate it, the more I enjoy it so much. I would definitely go back. It looks like they change flavors everyday which I wasn't aware of.

I was looking for a sweet treat and Rollie's didn't disappoint. They change flavors often. I had peach cobbler when they ran Christmas in July and it was AMAZING. The vanilla and chocolate are great. They have so many toppings. You can't go wrong

Delicious custard! Stopped by Sunday afternoon for frozen custard and got their pecan and chocolate flavors. We added the toppings with our order. Custard is creamy and not overly sugary. We will definitely come back for other flavors.

We had an event at work that they catered and it was AMAZING! Everyone was happy prices awesome flavors amazing. This was by far one of the best events we had. This was my first time using them and will definitely have them back out. Over a hundred people served in about an hour! We were super pleased!

my summer go-to for a refreshing treat to enjoy poolside. All the staff are super friendly and the custard is always so creamy and smooth. The add-ons are always fresh. The pecans, almonds, etc... are always crunchy and never stale.

The best place ever!!! Staff is super caring and kind! My son has a dairy allergy and they offer Dole whip daily. It is so refreshing to be able to go into an "ice cream" shop with my dairy allergic 6 year old and he has a few choices to choose from! This is by far our favorite place.

What a cute place! We had an afternoon treat at Rollie's, and we really liked it. The lady who helped us out was super friendly, and they rotate through many different flavors. We tried key lime, strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. They have a ton of fun toppings, including Pop Rocks. We liked all the flavors we tried. I think next time I'll get the vanilla with some peanut butter sauce and whipped cream.

We went when they first opened. The ice cream is ok but wasnt anything mind blowing. In fact it was slightly tasteless but it may have been the kind I ordered (vanilla)

It's the best dessert I've ever had, I've offer but my desserts. I order from them at least once a week. I never liked Custard but I love Rollie's, I don't know how they make it but I can't go a week without having it.

A great little shop serving up some of the most delicious creaminess you will ever have. The staff are accommodating if, for some unknown reason, you can't find EXACTLY what you think you want. So good. Give yourself a new treat. Take a break from big business. This is so yummy.

This was my first visit. Ice cream is good and fulfilling, but The customer service needs to be better, I just came from there. I gave the cashier my debit card, she returns it to me by sliding it across the counter, very rude. I would go back and let them redeem themselves

I love how you can tell it's homemade, it has a good consistency and doesn't have an artificial taste to it. I went here about 3 times and I would come again! The service was fast even if there was a long line. Overall I would recommend this!
