Rollin' Fresh - Madison

There are so many menus I want to try that it takes a long time to decide. The menu I chose was perfect, but I would like to try something else too 😋 Unlike other places, the amount of sauce and rice was just right, and the amount of fish and vegetables was very large. I appreciate serving me perfect lunch!

I got the city of roses bowl. The rice was old and are stingy on the seafood. Presentation is sloppy. Overpriced for the portions. Definitely not fresh. Took 2 bites and gave it to a houseless person. I went to Burgerville and spent $8.99; should have gone to Burgerville in the 1st place. Highly disappointed. An expensive lesson to learn. I won’t be returning nor recommending. $15 wasted.

The spam musubi is such a tasty treat. Tempura veggies are super duper! The Salmon Kama is what I really wanted, but is popular and they ran out 🥹 but that's okayyyy! Everything is worth it.

Absolutely incredible sushi burritos filled fully with meat and goodies. No skimping out on any of the good stuff, these artists know how to make one killer meal. The bonus? It comes with two of what you see in the photo. The sushi burrito did not fall apart until the very end, but at that point I could stick the rest of it in my mouth so it wasn't ever a problem! Staff is always polite and quick, and never rude. A roll so delicious (I got the "Hoke Poke") I haven't stop thinking about it even days after consumption. I can literally still taste it. You will find only quality here at Rollin Fresh, and if you haven't tried it yet, you are, in fact, missing out heavily. I will be coming back, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Only the spam and chic musubi were edible, the fried sushi roll and stuffed avo were gross. I eat at rollin fresh around Portland regularly, this was the only time I have been disappointed. Bummer

Got a poke and a musubi. The poke I thought was kinda average—the amount of imitation crab meat in there was really overwhelming, compared to the fish and even rice. The flavor was a bit bland and didn’t have anything interesting for texture like fried onions or some other crunch. But the masubi tasted amazing! There’s some sort of sauce in there that really pulled everything together.

Good food. Did try that many things but the staff was friendly and helpful. They were willing to make adjustments to a roll for me and I really appreciated that. I would go again. They have a lot of.vwgan options too which I also appreciate.

I was in Portland for 4 days and came here two separate times for dinner - the food was that good! I am vegan so I was drawn in by the vegan menu and ended up getting the Euphoria with added tofu each time. I highly recommend checking this place out (vegan or not) as the ingredients were fresh, the price was reasonable, and the environment of the Hawthorne Aslyum is super communal and positive vibes!
