Yelp
Rolling Greens, usually a drive by on the way home from Hollywood became a destination in my search for more authentic looking faux orchids either plant or stems. Many a day I'd wished I'd had more time to stop. The façade alone and then the rich history as per their Yelp page - "A charming home and garden store occupying the Historic Town Tire Co. building, originally designed in 1930..."- piqued my interest, my creative side. Definitely a haven for gardeners, designers, crafters or shadow artists like myself.
Rolling Greens' free parking lot, amid displays of live plants and classy containers waiting to go home with you, is totally convenient as opposed to a meter on Beverly Boulevard especially if your purchase requires lugging and toting.
Once inside, find more plants to buy then nurture, decor and seasonal items to grace your home. Grab a seat at the Arrangement Bar and let expert designers turn your brainchild into a viable reality.
Preferring to go solo, I found exactly the quality of faux orchids and river stone vase filler to complete my DIY project.
Check out was swift, friendly and the only time I got smiles from staff. I felt bad that many associates I encountered seemed sad, especially the Arrangement Bar designers. I get it that implementing art can be serious stuff but Rolling Greens is a blank canvas and so it seems those who create should be having more fun, be more joyful...I was upon completing my arrangement...
