"Located on a busy section of Metairie Road, Vietnamese favorite Rolls-N-Bowls specializes in two things: spring rolls of all flavors and steaming bowls of pho. The aromatic, tasty bowls are crammed with vegetables, just like the avocado or grilled tofu spring rolls. Protein-topped salads are bountiful, and rice and noodle dishes stay affordable despite heaps of meat. Delicious milk tea and bubble tea smoothies round out this magnificent menu." - Beth D'Addono

I love Rolls N Bowls. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. My favorite is the “sticky” buns I’ve tried the pork belly and chicken and both are amazing as appetizers but 2 can also fill me up. I’ve also had their chicken and rice and shrimp and rice and they’re also both really good. My son loves the pho and the bowls are huge. I also tried their chicken curry and it was soooo good and the bowl was huge! We normally order the mango smoothies with the boba or strawberry lemonade with fresh strawberries. You can order the smoothies as a milk base or water for people who can’t have dairy.

Google
We ordered a combo vermicelli plate and were able to split it. It was a ton of food for the price. Super tasty and fast. Highly recommend. I've had their pho on a previous visit and it was really good also.

Google
Best Vietnamese food in Metairie area! Simple, fresh, and great! I’ve been coming here for the last 8-9 years! Always find the same great food, great jasmine tea! The only thing I hate is their door, we can never get “Pull and Push” thing right! 😂 You should try their soft buns and their Vermicelli’s! It’s the best in town!

Google
This was my first time here i got dumplings, 🥟 they were really good and crunchy , cant wait to order something else !

Google
I love my own little concoction of their chicken curry With fresh mushrooms, broccoli & carrots only. Their takeout portion is great for 3 servings.

Google
This is the best Vietnamese food in Nola! Everything I’ve order there has exceed my expectations! The pork vermicelli is so juicy and such great flavors you don’t even need to use the sauce! And I just tried the lemongrass pho for the first time 🤯…incredible! Best pho I’ve ever had! Their portions are also so big, you definitely have left overs!

Google
Thai place had amazing food and amazing people running the place. The brisket in the rice bowl was incredible and I highly suggest trying a boba tea or a slushie. So good!

Google
This place is listed as Pho Bistreaux on Uber Eats. Overall, I liked everything! It was my first time having bao buns (grilled pork sliders) and they were great! I also had egg rolls and fried pork dumplings (which were good but fried a bit too much for my liking). The grilled beef po-boy was good, very flavorful, and I was impressed by the portion size. Would definitely order again and stick to some of the smaller items versus the larger items such as the po-boys.

Yelp
Rolls N Bowls has never disappointed. They are gracious and accommodating. The combo rice is abundant, the spring rolls are fresh and the banh mi is not too bad either. The true test is that we keep ordering.

Brooke B.

Yelp
I love my own little concoction of their chicken curry With fresh mushrooms, broccoli & carrots only. Their takeout portion is great for 3 servings. The staff is medium friendly, the parking can be tricky.

Yelp
This is a decent Vietnamese place but there are a whole lot of good to great Vietnamese spots not too far away. Personally I find most of the other Vietnamese options in the area to better meet my preferences than this location. This is a very popular restaurant in the area and it does seem to draw quite a crowd during peak times. The parking isn't the easiest here as it is a popular area with a lot of other businesses. Overall it is a good enough spot but I just prefer the food at other spots.

Yelp
This place is easily becoming one of my favorite places to eat at. Got a chance to try them earlier this week and I was undecided on what I wanted because I wanted the whole menu. This visit and my last visit we got the grilled chicken vermicelli and the shaken beef - sooo good. The beef was super tender and the chicken was cooked very well. The rice was mushy but to me that didn't take away from the meal. We ordered online and they estimated 30 minutes for pickup but it was ready before then so the service is fast. The staff is super friendly which is always a plus. It's very cozy and intimate on the inside, so next visit we'll have to dine in. I can't wait to visit again soon. Also not pictured is a watermelon bubble tea and a blackberry bubble tea - which was also fantastic.

Jacquie M.

Yelp
The food was so fresh and hot! Amazing flavor from the fried noodles with beef. It had a sweet savory flavor. The brisket in the Huge bowl of combination pho noodles was my favorite. The server was friendly and efficient. It was a quaint little store front on Metairie road.

Samyukta S.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best pho I've ever had? This place is amazing! We ordered the chicken pho with dark meat, and the flavors were out of this world. I like my food spicy so I requested & added chili oil to it, and it was just next level good. My daughter loved her kids size chicken pho as well (she's a picky eater so I was happy to see her eat this without complaining!). Definitely worth a try!

Shalon P.

Yelp
My go to meal here is the shaken beef and an avocado smoothie. Always so delicious and flavorful. The beef is tender and perfect with the onions. The avocado smoothie is perfection! This most recent time I also ordered eggrolls. Delicious! Tho they came out piping out. They had this sweet dipping sauce that was also great. This most recent visit, my rice was over cooked. Mushy mess. I know this was a one off cause it's never happened before. However, mushy rice is still gross. I wanted to send it back but I was on a time crunch and could not. Overall my experience with them is very pleasant and the servers were very nice and attentive. I'll be back

Yelp
This was phenomenal. Ordered a Filet Mignon Pho (Large) and the broth tasted incredibly rich, it's insane that it's only $13.50. The inside of the restaurant looked well kept and organized too. Our waiter was kind and diligent in making sure that we were happy with our meal and even helped me on the way out. My mother got a Grilled Pork Poboy, which tasted amazing too. I'll be eating here for a while. Great Pho, great service, great value.

Jessica S.

Yelp
Had a vermicelli pork bowl and it was delicious! Huge portions enough for two. Very authentic.

Maia V.

Yelp
I made an online order and arrived at the time that was sent to me for pickup. The worker appeared to be very drunk and was basically incoherent. She told me my food wasn't ready. But she was so drunk that she was dropping things and spilled a bucket of water on the floor - which she cleaned up using the SAME GLOVES she then used to prepare food. She proceeded to prepare 3 Uber Eats orders in front of me as well as a dine-in table all while i was waiting. I finally got handed a bag 25 mins after my arrival and when I got home and opened it, it wasn't my food. I'm just throwing it out bc even if it was my order, I lost my appetite watching her clean the floor and then touch food with the same gloves.

Steph W.

Yelp
I was so excited that I was moving down to NOLA for work so that I could be close to Rolls N Bowls. I come to eat here every time I visit - the food is delicious! Their Tofu Bao Sliders and Lemongrass Tofu are unmatched and the food is always so fresh :)

Nick M.

Yelp
Needed a gluten free pho place. I called rolls and bowls, and the lady was very nice. She explained the GF offerings, and even brought me some GF sauces with my spring rolls. The place is nice, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the prices are very competitive. Great job, Rolls and Bowls! I'll see you again soon!

Ella A.

Yelp
We visited on a weekday around 4 pm and it was not busy. We were immediately seated and ordered. Food came out fast and the service was very friendly. We had the shrimp spring rolls, beef banh mi, strawberry bubble smoothie, and the large brisket pho. We enjoyed most everything. I didn't like the beef banh mi marinade - (tasted almost like pure soy sauce) or the beef - (it contained a bunch of fat and gristle). Located in a busy shopping center in Old Metairie. (Note that the parking lot is one way and can be a bit difficult.)

Ann M.

Yelp
I've been a customer here for several years. Usually stop in 1-2 times a month. The food and drinks have gone downhill the last six months. The slider rolls are stale and/or were microwaved cuz they were hard. The frozen drink had very hard bobo balls, and just didn't taste the same. I'll be taking a break till things improve.

Alicia M.

Yelp
Really nice food, excellent service and ambiance!!! We have been there a couple of times and we like the spring rolls here better than in other nearby places. Haven't tried much of the rest but for the rolls alone, kudos to them.

Chandler D.

Yelp
I love this Old Metairie location. The food came out pretty fast and their is great lighting in the restaurant. I got the grilled beef spring rolls, served with chopped lettuce, bean sprouts, cilantro, carrots, and vermicelli. It comes with four pieces but you probably won't want to share lol. The white chicken meat soup with noodles (pho) was tasty and served with rice noodles topped with onions, cilantro, bean sprouts, thai basil, jalapeño, and lime on the side. You'll leave feeling full and healthy.

Sophie A.

Yelp
Their food always has impeccable texture and flavor! The meats are tender, crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. The vegetables are crispy and packed with flavor. I haven't had vermicelli or pho anywhere else quite like Rolls N Bowls, and I travel for work so that's saying a lot! The prices are incredibly reasonable and portions are great. Anytime I'm in New Orleans I have to stop here to get some food. The service is also great! Their fast, efficient, and kind.

John L.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh Vietnamese. Prompt service. Decor is very plain but the food is excellent. Avocado spring roll with peanut sauce thumbs up. Ditto the fried vegetarian egg rolls.... And the pork bun appetizer... excellent. Pho is very good. Enjoyed the curry chicken also. Food came out promptly. Impressed.

Tori M.

Yelp
*this is a review of my UberEats order from Rolls N Bowls. I did not dine in* I ordered take out from on my friend's recommendation. I'm SO glad I did! I got the coconut curry and pork egg rolls. Omg they arrived HOT (all the way from Old Metairie to the Bywater) and were DELICIOUS!!!!! I could only eat about half of the curry and rice. There was so much for so cheap! The egg rolls were the best I've ever had. I can't wait to try more of their dishes!

Kyra T.

Yelp
I have visited this establishment a few times. The first time I ate here was with a friend. It was a great environment with even better food. The chicken plates are amazing. Great balance between veggies, carbs, and protein. I have ordered from Rolls N Bowls several times, I will admit that the food taste significantly different when you dine in versus when you take out. Thats with any restaurant however the last time I ordered via UberEats, my bread was slightly stale. Considering I have never had a bad experience besides this one, I will still continue to order from here.

Teneha B.

Yelp
Very important note: Two SEPARATE times, they've forgotten my BUBBLE TEA & if you know me, that's a big ole NO-NO. Shame, shame, everybody knows your name. On to the review: Great little find on UberEats. We use them quite FREQUENTLY for lunch at work because sometimes during the construction bidding process, leaving the office is feat that cannot be accomplished; and here is where ROLLS & BOWLS + UberEats comes in. Pros: Being on UberEats - Great food selection - lots of BUBBLE TEA choices - low cost menu - great tasting food - quick preparation Cons: Spring rolls, even if ordered separately, are all placed in one styrofoam container, this is not cool - not delivering my bubble tea x2 All in all, great bang for your buck. Since I've been doing take out, I may try to dine in, I'm sure they won't forget my bubble tea then.

Mary A.

Yelp
Delicious beef and oxtail pho! The broth was super tasty also and portions were plentiful.

Rachel T.

Yelp
I have been looking for Pho since moving here. I came across this jewel on Metairie Rd. Rolls-n-Bowls made me nostalgic for the home Pho my neighbors mom used to make. Pictured are the avocado spring roll and dark chicken pho. (Yes Pho is usually ox or beef- both are on the menu.)

Angela D.

Yelp
BABBBYYYYYYY THIS IS MY SPOT!!!!!! Rolls N Bowls in Metairie is the best little place I've ever stumbled across. Portions are great. Quality is outstanding. Pricing is perfect. The owners of this little mom and pop go above and beyond with their meals. I usually order ubereats but the few times I've gone in, the place is clean, there's a fun atmosphere, the employees make me feel like family. You want great Vietnamese food? This is the place to go. NOM NOM NOMS!!!!

Brooke H.

Yelp
The pork belly bao were to die for!! I also got a kids beef pho and it was a good portion considering it was from the kids menu. For all that food it was only $14 which is a great deal! I will definitely be back:)

Megan M.

Yelp
Staff is friendly, food is delicious and filling without making me feel like a fried turducken. Bubble tea is fab. Great place to go on a rainy day, sunny day, winter day, really any day.

Patricia R.

Yelp
I returned to Rolls and Bowls today and am happy to say that I had a very different experience this time around. It seems that they have found someone to fill the position that they were advertising for last week, and the AC is up and running again. Service was quick and the food was delicious. I had the pork and rice plate, and it was top notch. The pork was tender and flavorful, the jasmine rice was perfectly cooked, and the lettuce and tomato was very fresh. I had the jasmine black tea and think I may be in love. You know how refreshing freshly brewed tea tastes? Well, it was like that, but oh so elevated. If you're a tea addict like me, you've got to try it. I'm happy that I made a second trip and will definitely be making a third.

Naresh C.

Yelp
Nice neighborhood restaurant in Old Metairie. I have visited here several times and this is my first review. I really enjoy the fresh fruit blends (many fruit options) with lemonade and the food is consistently good. The service here is fast, friendly, and I got a refill without asking!

Selena S.

Yelp
I order from here at least once a week or so. Love the spring rolls and peanut sauce and the bubble tea. Food is always on point. Cute little place but only been in there myself once or twice.

Kelly A.

Yelp
Love coming to Rolls n Bowls for happy hour spring rolls (half off)! Great for when you want a snack that's fresh and not too heavy in the afternoon. The staff are so nice and always give me both a peanut and fish sauce with my rolls...I come probably once a week!

Richard B.

Yelp
I've been on a bahn mi kick lately and Rolls N Bowls did not disappoint. Not only was the food and tea delicious, but the service was awesome!

Jessyca M.

Yelp
I'm Beyond impressed with this food. I assumed it would be sub par in the middle of New Orleans!! The beef is cooked perfect, sticky rice on point! Garlicky ginger sauce is ahhhmazing, and the egg on top a perfect addition for the palate! Washing it all down with Strawberry slushie boba style! Excellent!

Jerry S.

Yelp
Pho was delicious. I had the prime rib pho and it was delicious. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and there was plenty. The broth was the best I've had so far in the city. We also had the spring rolls and they were delicious. Service was excellent and our waitress was wonderful.

Mechelle B.

Yelp
I ordered through Uber Eats. Had the shaken beef and a Taro Strawberry smoothie. I was expecting the run-of-the-mill flavors. Boy was I surprised! The minute I put the fork in my mouth my taste buds started to DANCE. I was disappointed after the end of every bite because i just wanted more. And my smoothie was good too. I can't even add any pictures cause i ate it ALL?!

Michelle Q.

Yelp
I recommend their grilled pork rice dish. They give you a nice portion of pork. The pork is seasoned well. It is very yummy! I love their pork and shrimp spring rolls. I love that they cut the spring rolls in half for you.

Keith C.

Yelp
Rolls N Bowls is a lovely little spot in the heart of Old Metairie. Wife and I shared the fried dumplings and they were excellent. Sometimes fried food doesn't travel too well (obviously, they're doing takeout only right now), but these held up great. I had the meatball pho while my wife had the filet - both excellent. I can't quite put it up there with the best pho in the city, but it's pretty damn close. Will be back for more.

Audrey H.

Yelp
Hit the spot! The pho was exactly what we were in the mood for, and the boba was perfect.

Andi F.

Yelp
I have been an irregular customer here for several years now. My sisters house is right down the street, and my oldest nephew has a fondness for this restaurant and the rest are tired of it. I am left as one of the few he can convince to come. Parking is limited for this strip mall, the direction only going one way, and every store seems equally busy. You walk in, order at the counter, take your number and have a seat. You can order to go ahead of time. The food is a bit on the high side, the dance music a bit too loud, the lights a bit too bright. But, the food is good, the pho has a lot in it, the meals are filling. They do have a single, unisex restroom in the back, that is clean and well stocked. My favorite appetizer is the lemongrass chicken steamed buns. All of the boba teas I have tried have been great. My favorite meal is the lemongrass chicken rice bowl.

Heather Marie D.

Yelp
I usually get the Chicken Vermicelli Bowl but I decided to switch it up to beef today. It was DELICIOUS. It also came with a lot of food so I have some for later. I used to come here regularly about 6 years ago when I was in high school and now it looks like they went down on the prices. So I'm happy about that! Everything I've had here has been good and fresh tasting.

Mary W.

Yelp
I had the beef Pho and dumpling. Everything was fresh and delicious. They have the best Pho I have ever had. The first time I went here I had to go back the next day for more lol. Pictured is the beef Pho. I will say this DO NOT ORDER THRU UBER EATS!!! Their food is always amazing but I made the mistake of order from Uber and it took them almost 2 hrs to deliver then they had the nerve to not refund any of my money. Uber has since been deleted from my phone iPad and life.

Jen B.

Yelp
I am adding a star to my previous review and here is why: I have been enjoying stopping here on my way to work for some fast fresh food. I have been ordering the small Tofu Bun (Vermicelli Bowl). For a $10 bill I can get the perfect amount of food, plus a little cash left over for the tip jar. Last visit I was in and out in 15 minutes. Perfect for me! They have recently started a Spring Roll Happy Hour between 2 and 5pm you can get anything from the spring roll menu for $3. Nice!

John V.

Yelp
This place is just great! If you try rolls and bowls definitely get the spicy beef soup

Tony H.

Yelp
First off, the parking is only a one way shot. It's confusing for people if they have never been here. I went in the wrong way causing me to get honked at. My girlfriend had gotten there first and already ordered for us so when I walked in, I wasn't greeted. I just took a seat at our table. We ordered the Sambaroll (Eggroll inside of a springroll) to start off and each of us had the Pho as the entree. (She had small beef and I had large chicken). There wasn't anything special with the Sambaroll besides the fact that you get an Eggroll inside of a springroll. Much more of a cool factor unless you're like me. I like to put crunchy things in my food (chips in burger, croutons in salad, etc). When the pho came out, it seemed like we had the same amount of noodles but I had more meat and a bigger bowl. Kind of a rip off if you ask me. Her beef broth was bland BUT I actually liked the broth of my chicken pho although it still did need some Hoisin, Sriracha, and a lot of lime. I really like the location of this restaurant. Not because of the restaurant itself but as a living location. It's close to the old Metairie area. Unfortunately there are train tracks right outside of the plaza where this restaurant is. I was stuck in that for about 10 mins before I could get out of the parking lot. Would I come back here? Probably not but I always give every place a second chance.

Molly B.

Yelp
My main issue is the prices being out of control. I get that it's on Metairie Road and pho is having its 15 minutes but $9 for pho tofu and veggies and $6 for a small portion of spring rolls?? Get real. Vegetarians: the pho tofu is not vegetarian. It's a chicken based broth. People who like to eat in peace: the staff will ask you no less than six times if everything is ok. It's better than being ignored but holy overkill. They have everything you could possibly want at the drink station including to-go containers. Those who LOVE spring rolls: I was disappointed in the size of the spring rolls and the lack of flavor in the watery peanut sauce. Was that even peanut sauce? I don't mean to be too blunt but when you're asking for that much money I'm going to expect the meal to taste that much better than the others. It was a big sized bowl of soup with good, fresh ingredients. It just isn't worth the extra $5 that I'd normally spend on an actual vegetarian pho with more tofu and twice the size spring rolls that splurge on both tofu + avocado. Did I eat my entire meal? Yes...

Kenny N.

Yelp
I went here with a couple friends and we wanted to try a little bit of everything. We got a couple of sliders and spring rolls as appetizers. We also got the grilled shrimp and combination Vietnamese po boys and the vinh's special noodle soup. Everything was really flavorful and good! Our server was really attentive, nice and friendly! It was really easy to talk to her! We asked her what kind of boba she recommended and she said that she made a really good avocado boba. We ordered that and she didn't disappoint! I'd definitely come back to try other things on the menu! ROLL on by N get a BOWL-ba!

Mary Z.

Yelp
The location is great, prices are surprisingly competitive with the shops on Vets, store is really clean, and portions are nice. Unfortunately, I was served a rancid Thai tea (tasted and smelled like expired milk) on my first visit here. They were kind enough to believe me (they were giving me disbelief until I tore open the lid and invited them to take a whiff) and ended up dumping both large containers of Thai tea after checking their stock. I won't judge a book by just one mistake so expect an updated review when I come back...maybe...

Mariana P.

Yelp
I ordered delivery through UberEATS and was thoroughly impressed with the order, the flavor and how everything was packaged. I have never ordered shaken beef before and wanted to be surprised. I was delighted with the over easy egg that arrived on top of the rice. The sauce on the side was amazing for this dish kind of sour and sesame oil like meets bbq sauce? Very umami. Loved the heat on the chicken coconut curry. I asked for extra spicy. And the shrimp and pork fresh summer rolls were sublime. Again the kind of plum like sauce for dipping for these was delicious. Thumbs up to Rolls N Bowls!

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Ahh, Vietnamese food. A staple in my restaurant rotation due to their super-fresh ingredients and prevalence of meat-free options. Rolls N Bowls did not disappoint. Since we went during their "happy hour," spring rolls were half off! Heck yes. One of those number order systems meant that we all got our food at different times, which were all, IMHO, pretty long. My friend who ordered vegetables in garlic sauce waited a good 25 minutes. I waited about 20 for my food, and 25 for my smoothie. Could it be because I'm from the tri-state area and am used to super fast service? Perhaps. Thankfully, the food was pretty damn good. My vegetable fried rice was alright, but the mixed vegetable spring roll was amazing. Lots of fresh basil and crunchy veggies wrapped in delicate rice paper and served with a tasty peanut dipping sauce - delish! I also thoroughly enjoyed my fresh fruit smoothie which wasn't overly sweet. Props! The counter service was very friendly and helpful. Decor is youthful and funky. Shoutout to having outlets, you guys saved my phone from dying an early death. Many thanks. Altogether, a solid spot to stop for some yummy Vietnamese chow. Roll on in N buy a bowl!
