Our intention was not for Italian, we were actually out for Japanese. I admit I made a mistake looking up a place. We ended up here. This is not an easy review to write.
Full disclosure, I did not include any pics, as I did not feel like anything was worthy of one.
It's a very dated and run down place both inside and out. The menu is the odd Greek/Italian mix I have run into out thisxl way on numerous occasions. After we were seated, a very pleasant server seated us and took our order for our appetizer, fried mushrooms. These were institutional mushrooms, meaning they came from a bag of pre-breaded frozen mushrooms fried to a very dark brown. The breading on them was very thick and flavor less. Next our order for mains was placed, eggplant parmigian and gyro platter. The eggplant came with a tossed salad and garlic bread. Let's start with the eggplant, arrived with pasta and I'm guessing was not institutional pre-made but homemade, and also forgettable. The marinara (red sauce) was homemade, tasteless. The 6 very small pieces of lamb were ok, but again forgettable, it came with choice of 1 side, fries or baked potato. The bake potato was the highlight, they tried the high end preparation of salting the exterior, but way too much salt. My overall review and experience is this was an entire waste of $40+ dollars. I would never recommend this place at any level. Very sad to share this as I adore dining out.
