I had the most wonderful weekend in Rome, and staying at the Roma Luxus Hotel in Largo Angelicum made it truly unforgettable. The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly located right in the heart of Rome — you can step outside and immediately feel the magic of the city. What really stood out for me, beyond the comfort and charm of the hotel, was the incredible Roman cuisine. The restaurant offers authentic flavors with such exceptional quality that it’s not just a meal, it’s an experience worth traveling for. Every dish felt like a discovery, prepared with care and passion. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which made the whole atmosphere even more enjoyable. Being able to relax in such a refined place, surrounded by the beauty of the Eternal City, was simply amazing. If you are planning a trip to Rome, I cannot recommend the Roma Luxus Hotel enough — for the location, the service, and above all the unforgettable food. Truly a gem in the center of this magnificent city.

We loved our stay at the Roma Luxus! The location was perfect, walkable to everything. The staff was amazing, from the front desk went out of their way to get us settled, restaurant recommendations and cocktails at the bar, Filipo is the best! The rooms were modest and comfortable. Breakfast was over the top, we loved stopping by every morning. We will be back!!

Was the best hotel I have ever stayed in the staff were lovely and made me feel very safe as I was travelling alone. They had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The rooms were super clean and the aircon worked like a charm. Would a 100% go here when I come back to Rome.

As someone that travels quite a bit, I personally can’t understand any of the bad reviews. It’s a 5* boutique hotel in the centre of Rome. If you’re looking for something larger and more impersonal, there are other hotels but if you’re looking for somewhere high end, well located and more exclusive, Roma Luxus is your hotel.||Location - great spot. Really close to the Colosseum but ultimately walking distance from everything.||Food - the breakfast room in the hotel is beautiful and an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. Surrounded by trees and vines, it’s a really nice spot to start your day. As a scrambled egg snob, I was pleased that it was rich and runny. There’s also a breakfast menu on top of the buffet. The restaurant at the front of the hotel is busy day and night and the food is superb for lunch or dinner.||Rooms - our room was great. Spacious and nice touches with Aqua Di Parma everywhere. The room could be a bit brighter but it’s probably just mood lighting.||Service - every staff member was so friendly and welcoming. ||It’s only a matter of time before Roma Luxus is picked up by an Instagram influencer so I’d suggest visiting before it goes viral. Great hotel, would definitely visit again.

Although the hotel is officially rated five stars, it falls far short of that standard. We stayed for five nights in two different rooms, and both were disappointing - the furniture is noticeably worn, and the air conditioning didn’t work. It was incredibly cold in the rooms. Breakfast was also underwhelming: instead of a buffet, everything must be ordered from a limited menu, and almost every dish contains eggs. Throughout our entire stay, they didn’t have sausages available even once. Although the ceiling in the room incredibly beatiful and high, there are a lot spiders on it and we found some on the bed. On our last day, we asked the reception to book a taxi to the airport (Rome taxis have a fixed fare), but instead they arranged an unofficial private transfer that cost nearly twice the standard rate. It felt like a tourist scam - please be cautious.

We stayed here for 4 nights on the ‘Rome’ leg of our Italian adventure. We had a friendly welcome from Andréa on reception, with the delightful Francesco showing us to our double room. The room was clean with attractive decor, tidy and with generous space to move around, plus a good en-suite bathroom. The bed was comfortable, so we slept well. There was a safe available for storing valuables. The housekeeping staff kindly kept everything clean and tidy whilst we were out during the day. Breakfast was a self-service buffet with an extremely wide variety of food choices. Something to suit everyone. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, with coffee and tea served at table. Each morning we were greeted at breakfast by the welcoming Diana and staff. The hotel lobby lounge was a welcome space in which to rest or wait for taxis. The reception staff we spoke with most often, Francesco & Valeria, were always happy to offer assistance: booking excursion tickets/taxis etc, plus very nice simply to chat to. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the aroma Luxus very much. Thank you, all!

Was a little concerned after booking in advance, and saw the review score drop from a 4.1 to a 3.9. However, my concerns were completely unwarranted - we had a great stay for one night after getting off our cruise. We arrived to smiling and courteous staff. As a matter of fact, the staff was fantastic during our stay. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed that, as well. Only small complaint was our terrace room was darker at night than we would have liked. Also, the large hot tub took almost 45 minutes to fill (we kinda gave up). Aside from these 2 small issues, we would definitely return.

Yelp
The Roma Luxus is a boutique hotel that looks really nice of you are looking for accommodations in the center of Roma, It has a lovely lobby area that we saw when we went to visit the facilities. We did not stay there we we only stopped at their bistro to get a drink, and a light snack to help recharge our batteries during our mega walking tour of Roma. It is located on Largo Angelicum, a side street with some traffic, but much less than the main thoroughfares. The outside patio is enclosed with beautiful plants making it a lovely oasis located in the city of amore.

Yelp
The Bistrot connected to the hotel is definitely lack luster. The pasta was too al dente, service was slow and nearly non existent, plus the bread was cold, the water was warm, and potatoes had too much oil. They definitely did not cook food here con amore. Not the first food experience I was expecting.

Yelp
Hotel is 30 min from airport by car (by train about 45-1 hour) but located right in the center of all main sites. Room is small comparing to L.A hotels, shower was for one person, bathroom had a bathroom smell almost all day, walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors, there's a little sit in balcony, tv has no English subtitles, hot tub/spa is 90 euros ($110, I think) for 1 1/2 hour, you can pay for daily breakfast, there's a daily county tax 8-10 euros a day per person, there are elevators and stairs (3 floors), not sure if there's parking available for guest and most of the surrounding street parking is resident parking with permit. There is nightly security, daily room cleaning, Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about area.

Yelp
Romaluxus hotel. Really great hotel in Rome near the coliseum. Behind is better description. The breakfast is one of my all time favorites!! The selection include the menu and I could just stay all day and eat!! The rooms are all different, comfortable beds and nice size for Americans. This hotel was not reviewed, I hope the information is correct.

Yelp
Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Staff was pleasant. Room was worse than a motel 6. We could here everything through the walls. Small spaces, only 1 person in the bathroom at a time.

Mike R.

Yelp
Hotel NO WAY 5 star. The shower had disgusting mold on the grout. The room was small and the window looked out to a small planted area with lots of dried up weeds and old plantings that needed to be redone YUK! The breakfast was very good is anything positive I can say. The staff were just okay nothing special. Probably better places and value to stay in Rome.
