We went to celebrate a birthday. The first thing the waitress asked about was allergies. The food and drinks were delicious. Service was excellent. The waitress came several times to check.

Google
Really cozy and nice Italian restaurant. Homemade pasta (and you can really notice the difference). We had the Tagliatelle with Mushrooms and the Spaghetti with Shrimp. Both were fantastic options. Their menu has many options to accommodate different preferences. The staff is very friendly and nice. Alvaro - our waiter - was so nice and helpful. If you are craving some Italian, this is a great choice.

Google
Great food. Wish it would have come with a small side of pasta. Didn’t want to order an entire pasta dish to get some, because I know I would have tried to eat it all.

Colin McGuckin

Google
Let me start by saying the staff were lovely. But the food is not great. The meatballs were appalling. Real Italian people would be insulted. The barely cooked (probably microwaved) meatballs were as bad as the undefined tomato sauce covering them, with an aftertaste to match. Awful. Such a shame as the location and staff were great.

Google
The restaurant it very cute inside and has a good atmosphere. When our waitress came over, her lack of enthusiasm, a smile, and eye contact threw us off. She pointed out the mock tails menu, and as she was heading away, our party commented on the lack of cocktails, but a full bar. She placed the cocktail menu menu, then left. Two of us ordered drinks. Someone was coming over to deliver us our drinks when they turned around and then placed them back at the bar. She came over to us and ID’d us. I asked aren’t you supposed to do that when we order she said flatly, “we’re supposed to”…. Nonetheless, the food was very good. We ordered the charcuterie board to start and was disappointed how small it was. They gave us 3 small pieces of bread, a ton of cheese, one piece of prosciutto and one piece of salame. The almonds were placed on top of a pile of honey- weird and lazy, but tasted good. They cook their pasta al dente like a true Italian. We ordered the carbonara, Cacio e Pepe, pesto pizza, and Crudo pizza. Portions on the pasta are a bit small and we weren’t full by the end. 🚨 Watch out for added gratuity. We noticed a 20% charge for it for our table of 4.

Google
Excellent all the way around!!! Service was superb…I don’t remember the name of everyone who served us…but everyone was attentive. Gio and Claire make excellent recommendations! The pasta w mushroom sauce, the side salad, salmon and don’t miss the tiramisu! To-die-for!!! Don’t miss this tasty dinner!!

Shireen Ghandhi

Google
Small restaurant but some delicious Italian food. Fresh pasta and the tiramisu was to die for. Chicken Marsala could have used some More sauce. A bit dry but very tasty. Good service and accommodated a party of 7 for us. Overall everyone in our party was very happy with the food and left with full bellies.

Google
Cute Italian place, but not impressed with food. We ordered plate of cheese, salad and pizza. Cheese plate was good, great combination of cheese, bread, honey and prosciutto. Pizza on the other hand was very salty. Maybe it was a bad choice of pizza, but I was disappointed Wine selection is good. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Went here for a birthday. It was quiet but in a good way. Staff was kind and food was good. Would go back - we liked the gramigna better than the cacio

Yelp
This place never misses! Haven't been in a while and forgot what I was missing. The service was great even though they were closing in about an hour and a half. We weren't rushed and everyone was kind (luckily we are fast eaters lol). Glows: -Staff was kind and attentive -Ambiance is dope to catch up with friends or for a date night -Food is yummy and there's something for everyone. Things to consider: -Parking can be a tight so arrive with ample time -Make reservations it can get busy

Yelp
Just moved to JC and tried this place on the recommendation from a coworker and it did not disappoint! We went around 4 for the start of happy hour and it was pretty empty but gave us time to thoroughly look over the menu and spend time with each other. The waitress (can't remember her name) was very patient and attentive, even as it started getting busier. They had a fun playlist going and had a really cool vibe going on. The pasta we got was all hand made and my party ate until we were stuffed. They also have great drinks, and my sister said the house wine was pretty good. Started picking up as we were wrapping up dinner but would highly recommend for some great food!

Yelp
The staff here are really nice, but the food is unfortunately just average. We started with Insalata del Contadino, which would've been nice but it was drowning in way too much balsamic vinaigrette (I have balsamic vinaigrette). The Spaghetti con Gamberi was too watery, but the Branzino was satisfying (if unremarkable). It's worth noting that the online menu is not the same as the actual menu.

Yelp
Tried this place for late lunch on Saturday. The place wasn't crowded, in fact only few tables were occupied. The interiors give vibes of a diner. The service was average. The hostess was new, 3rd day on her job and for that she did quite good. The other hostess covering her didn't help much. They dont make ANY ALTERATIONS to the food. They can't add anything or substitute one meat for another. When you charge $18 for a dish of pasta, I would assume you make it fresh and if so, why can't you add a few veggies or sub chicken for pork? We adjusted to what was on the menu and ordered - Fusilli Pesto, Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe, Crudo (Pizza), Purgatorio (Eggs baked in tomato sauce with bread) and fresh bread basket. Food was OK, nothing to rave about.

Yelp
After hearing such outstanding reviews for the past couple years we went tonight with great expectations. Huge letdown. The pasta is dull, flavorless and uninspired. We ordered the bread basket. The bread was burnt. The salads were tasty but nothing special. We ordered the ragu. The pasta was gummy and flavorful and the sauce lacked salt and any flavor. The service was good but not great. They never refilled our water or drinks and only checked on us when I literally had to wave our waiter down. Then they tacked on an automatic 20% gratuity on our check on a table of four. Ridiculous!! The dessert (tiramisu) was flavorless and just tasted like plain whipped cream and too much cocoa powder. I have no plan to return. The food was super disappointing

Yelp
Check the menu before you get seated. They have a handful of pizza options, and very basic pasta options (basically variations of pasta and sauce -- not lasagna, calzone or other baked dishes). I had an eggplant parmesan which was well prepared, but did not come with pasta or bread -- those are extra (and not cheap). I also tried a pizza option, which was okay, but if you're going there just for pizza you're better off at the 2 other pizza shops within line of sight. The service was fine and the ambiance was okay too (small mom and pop feel).

Yelp
We ordered the Meatballs, Spaghetti Pomodoro, and Tagliatelle Ragu-- and the meatballs were definitely the star of the show! Super tender and the sauce was delicious. Unfortunately the meatballs really overshadowed the two pasta dishes. The Spaghetti Pomodoro almost had a sour taste to the sauce and very plain. The Tagliatelle was okay. Overall the staff were friendly and the restaurant was cozy, but I LOVE pasta and they may have missed the mark a bit!

Yelp
Best Meatball sub in downtown Jersey City. Pizza is very good too. Make reservations!

Yelp
Cozy neighborhood spot with perfect meatballs, succulent tagliatelle ragu, and pretty prosciutto pizza.

Yelp
We've lived in Jersey City for about four years now and have walked by Roman Nose numerous times. We finally decided to have dinner here with my MIL on a Friday night. Booking resys was super easy and we were seated immediately after checking in. Service was very attentive and very friendly and nice. 10/10 there. We had the bread basket to share and the caprese salad. They ran out of burata that day, which was our first choice. Both was fine. I had the pesto fusilli pasta and honestly, it was great. I would definitely eat it again. X had the cacio e pepe, as per usual, and he said it was a tad too salty. Not as flavorful as he expected. MIL had the mushroom tagliatelle. For dessert, we split the tiramisu, which was delightful and a very generous portion. All in all, a very solid meal.

Yelp
I've always been impressed with the service at Roman Nose. But the new hostess/manger, Claire, really adds to the already amazing food. My wife and I love coming to this place on the wonderful pedestrian zone. Come for brunch. Don't miss the lemon ricotta pancakes. Come for dinner. Don't miss the lentil soup, or the butternut squash pizza, or the nonna cookies. My wife and I are chilling with aperol spritzes and talking about the day. Lovely.

Yelp
Started with a small salad w decent grilled veggies, then waited nearly an hour for a salmon dish + a simple pasta. This while watching others who sat down after, us get served first. Until we complained, there was no checking on how we were doing, or apology offered. Too upset to eat the mains we took them home; the salmon dish was good, but the pasta was noodle like, probably because our apt is about a 20 min walk away. All in all Food 3 but service (nice people just off point) 2 maybe 2- given the kitchen outcome. Note to Roman Nose you could have offered us the app free, or not charged for the mineral water, or a free dessert food goes a long way.

Yelp
This place never disappoints. If you're looking for a classic pasta dish any day of the week, this is place for it. I usually gravitate to the Cacio e Pepe but this other shrimp spaghetti dish was so flavorful! It might be my next go to! We also arrived 30 minutes before closing and we received great service. Very happy that they were able accommodate us!

Yelp
We tried this spot for the first time since moving to JC a few months ago. As native Brooklynites, we don't recommend the pizza! Crust should be bubbly and crunchy - this was flat and lifeless and the sauce was too thin. However the service here is wonderful and the staff is very attentive, nice and makes sure your drink is perfected. I had the meatball sandwich too which was better than the pizza - and the chibata bread is very fresh. The meatballs are good portions and hearty!! The inner dining area is just right, but we didn't go when it was crowded so it was comfortable and casual. Definitely recommend for happy hour drinks and their sandwiches.

Yelp
A small restaurant in downtown Jersey City. Reservations are not required but due how small the location is it can get filled pretty quickly. I sat at the bar and had an espresso martini and their cacio e pepe. Both were delicious. The espresso martini was strong and I could really taste the espresso. The cacio de pepe was rich and creamy. Portions are on the small side but I still brought my left overs home with me Can't wait to go back! The food is amazing, the decor isn't my favorite but it's definitely cozy.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this restaurant. I had the mushroom appetizer and pesto pizza. It was all delicious. I had a delicious blood orange mojito mocktail. The service was goods. The ambiance is cozy. Street parking only like most places in JC. So make sure to get there early to find parking. Also be mindful if you cancel your reservation the day of you will be charged a $20 fee.

Yelp
After my first visit last year I was determined I wouldn't return. Well, thanks to my friends choosing to eat out last minute I wound up here because nothing else could accommodate our 17 person group. I thought I'd try a small dish...the meatballs. Again, I'm unimpressed. I really refuse to eat here again. The servers were very accommodating of our last minute massive group, and patient with some of their indecisiveness etc. lol. Three stars for service.

Yelp
Food was actually pretty good. We were four. Service however was sloooooow. A little loud inside but I think that's for all Italian places.

Yelp
Saturday evening dinner at Roman Nose in Jersey City. Unfortunately, our experience this evening was not our best. Claire, apparently the assistant manager, came over to our table to let us know as we had finished dessert and we're paying our bill, that there were reservations on the table and she would like us to vacate as soon as possible. This was paraphrasing her words. We were both astounded as to her rudeness and let it go. I approached her at the front counter and told her I did not appreciate her rudeness and how she asked us to vacate the table. I then left to go to the washroom, and my boyfriend had said that she engaged with another customer And could tell from the body language that they were both saying that I was a real jerk for saying what I did. We were both very unhappy about this. My boyfriend was especially uncomfortable as they were making eye contact at the table where he was sitting, which also made him very uncomfortable. This dinner was over $100 and we were very much unhappy with this experience. We hope to never have this happen again, but will continue to go (for now) to Roman Nose. Very much, hoping the manager of Roman Nose sees this review and responds to it.

Yelp
Had dinner at Roman Nose a few weeks ago with 3 girlfriends. Reservations available on Resy; we were lucky enough to snag an outside table which was really nice. We shared the bruschetta trio (2x ricotta and honey, 1x pesto - almost wish we'd ordered two of these because they were so good), a salad, margherita pizza, Fusilli Al Pesto, and the Cacio e Pepe which is not something I typically lean towards but it ended up being my favorite! Our server was attentive but not overbearing, and let us linger at the end of the meal without making us feel rushed to finish our drinks.

Yelp
stopped in with my BF for an early Sunday dinner and the restaurant wasn't too busy. HH was still available and we started off with an aperol spritz and a beer. we tried out the following: -meatball sandwich: DIVINE! perfectly seasoned meatballs, rich tomato sauce, and melty mozzarella cheese on a chewy ciabatta. we really enjoyed this and still couldn't stop raving about it days later. the arugula salad that came with the sandwich was pretty good too, i polished it off. for $14, this is a very solid meal! -margherita pizza: thin and crispy Roman-style pizza. it was simple and tasty, portion size was pretty decent too. -tiramisu: creamy and not too sweet, perfect ending to our meal. service was excellent and the food was tasty. a very good value considering we had leftovers for another meal too. will return for sure!

Yelp
I am giving this place 5 stars for the delicious fusilli pomodoro I ordered AND for having vegan options on the menu. It's insane that so many restaurants in this metropolitan city do not have vegan options, but Roman Nose does and there are multiple options! I am also giving 5 stars for the service. Christine was our server and she was excellent as well as the hostess, Claire who was a gem! Super friendly staff great food vegan options.

L M.

Yelp
Service was good but the food was subpar. The sauce is slightly sour and the bread tasteless. The meatballs and tiramasu were just okay.
google avatar

Yelp
Right by the grove street path station, a nice homey place to grab a classic "homemade" italian meal and go for a date night or catch up in conversation with a few friends. Interior- cozy and has seating at the bar and exterior seating. Not too many seats so if you come with a group I suggest you make a reservation. Food - just ordered classic spaghetti and tomato sauce. Was great and the pasta was cooked al dente as I like it. Pizza was a great size for the price and is more like a personal pizza. Would return again but wouldn't go out of my way to come here, for a good classic Italian meal.
google avatar

Danielle G.

Yelp
4stars for great service and delicious bread! Pasta was good too, classic simple Italian food. Don't come here for fancy food or for huge servings they don't have that. Just a great neighborhood Italian restaurant.
google avatar

Yelp
Roman Nose is a great local spot- the pastas are good but what they really kill are the pizzas. The mozzarella on the Margherita is amazing- truly some good quality mozz. The Zucca pizza is also so good- totally unique as well! The gelatos and cookies for dessert are so good I rarely am able to get a photo before they are eaten!
google avatar

Yelp
The food has soo much favor! Perfect proportion of salt and pepper and seasonings. Pasta is perfectly cooked! Salmon perfect pan seared. Never a disappointment

Yelp
Food is good (especially recommend the eggplant parm) and reasonably priced, ambiance is lovely, and the espresso martinis are very good

Yelp
This spot is a cute neighborhood local Italian restaurant feel. We went in December so they decked the halls. As we entered, we were blasted with hot air - it's like the tropics in there in comparison to the winter breeze outside. Not mad about it, but perhaps a tad too hot. It's a cozy smaller restaurant and was packed with families and couples, all seemed happy and chattering. The server was kind but seemed to come by our table less than he hoped because he apologized to us about it. It was pretty loud and he had a thick accent so I couldn't hear the specials but I was leaning towards something on the menu anyway. The couple we went with had been here a couple times a few years ago, and recommended it, but they noted the food was better before. It took quite a while for the food to come out but I really enjoyed my mushroom pasta. My boyfriend got the chicken and he said it was pretty good but nothing special.

Yelp
Scenario: A server at this restaurant volunteered information that the marinara is free and you proceed to ask for said free marinara. When the bill comes you are charged $10 for the marinara. No problem. You ask the server, he says that they no longer offer it for free. You ask to talk to the manager about it. The manager comes in and proceeds to attempt to educate you that "nothing in life is free" First of all: your server volunteered this information. We never asked if the marinara is free. Hence we asked for some because we were told it is free. Second; do not speak to me about stuff not being free, speak to your server. I am a paying customer I do not assume anything is free. Thirdly; I was rudely told I have to pay 10 dollars for a side of marinara. This place is very unwelcoming. The manager/host treats the servers and customers with no respect. Roman Nose do better. your portions are tiny and food is mediocre. So I guess your manager/host has to overcompensate by having a snooty uptight rude attitude. If this was handled differently I would have had a different opinion.u

Yelp
All pasta made from scratch. Wow! Very authentic, with rich flavors and an incredibly vast traditional Italian menu. It's my first time and I am shocked how absolutely divine what we ordered tasted. Great portion too! Fantastic and friendly service. Homemade pizzas looked so so good! I am coming back very soon!!

Yelp
First of All - wow First time here snd I went blindly with the menu. I told the bartender/server to place an appetizer snd entree and I'm glad I did that. She selected the meatballs and chicken Marsala dish ...Let me tell you , I'm coming back again and again. Service provided by all three: Shaquille (whipped up an awesome bourbon "plane" drink) , Frederick snd genesis was flawless. Thank you so much. Because of you all and, of course the food, please count me a future regular xoxo

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and today is the last time. The dinner menu is rarely updated. There's always confusion about the staggering of food. And tonight they continued to coddle a drunk patron after serving him 6 shots, which disrupted our dinner at the bar. He kept coming back and wasn't kicked out. The privilege. I'm done.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have been to this restaurant several times and we have both enjoyed the food and really wish we could leave good reviews about this establishment. When we ate there one time previously, we my boyfriend and I had enjoyed a lovely meal and were finishing up and I had given our waiter my credit card to pay and be on our way but then the assistant manager Claire came up to us and asked us if we could leave because they were busy and had reservations. My boyfriend and I were upset that after spending 130 dollars, we were rudely asked to go away when we were getting ready to leave anyway. We were not left feeling welcome and my boyfriend spoke to Claire about that and told her that it was very unacceptable of her to rush us out the door and tell us to leave. After speaking to Claire my boyfriend went to the bathroom and Claire started talking to a couple at the bar where they made numerous glances in the direction of the bathroom where my boyfriend was and numerous glances at the table I was sitting at which made me feel uncomfortable. Yesterday my boyfriend and I decided to give Roman Nose another chance since we have always enjoyed the food there. At first the service was great and our waiter took our order and made us feel welcome. However, the same assistant manager Claire came up to our table and asked us how everything was and as we were answering her she turned her back on us and walked away, which was rude and made us feel that she was more interested in checking something off her to do list than actually making us feel welcome at the restaurant. After our meal we were interested in dessert, however our waiter was nowhere to be found and after a while of waiting my boyfriend had to call Claire over to put in an order. We ordered coffee and tiramisu but the coffee came well before the tiramisu and we really wanted to have the two together. After dessert we had to wait a while for the bill because nobody was paying attention to our table. Eventually we got the bill but then nobody came to ask us how we would like to pay and we sat for a while longer until my boyfriend had ended up calling Claire over. My boyfriend at this point was pretty upset and sad that he wanted someone to come over so we could pay and leave and Claire snippily told him that he had to come inside to pay and when my boyfriend asked her to bring out the card terminal she again snippily explained that he needed to come inside to pay with Apple Pay rather then apologizing for making us wait in order to pay. As he was paying my boyfriend told Claire that he was not happy with the service and he mentioned how we had a bad experience with her before. In that conversation Claire told my boyfriend that she remembered us from that previous time and read the review we left from that experience and then she told my boyfriend that she felt that he was bullying her and told him that she would like it if he never came to the restaurant again. My boyfriend did not yell at her or call her names in any encounter he had with her. He just firmly explained to her that he was very upset with the service both of those times and we were appalled that we were asked not to come back because we had complaints about the service. As we were leaving one of the male waiters came out and in front of other customers called my boyfriend a "f*cking loser" and made an L sign with his hand and placed it toward his forehead. When my boyfriend walked up to him and asked "excuse me?" the waiter said "you better back up or I'll knock you the f*ck out" and when my boyfriend asked the waiter for his name he responded "your best friend" and walked back inside the restaurant. This treatment was completely unacceptable and the owner of this restaurant should be EMBARRASSED by the way his staff handles upset customers and I would hope that this is not the way he or she wants to run a business. My boyfriend and I based on the treatment we received twice will not return to this restaurant because they do not deserve anymore of our hard earned money.

Yelp
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing!!!! I've lived in Jersey City for a very long time but this was my first time trying Roman Nose and I've got to say I wish I'd have gone before, it was DELICIOUS. Service and ambiance: Servers were very kind, attentive and open to answering all of our questions! They gave some great recommendations we loved. The atmosphere is romantic if you're on a date, a great place to go for an event or if you're feeling like a nice dinner without breaking the bank, for the two of us (my BF and I) after everything we ordered her, the bill was around $70 after tip, which was not bad! Appetizers: They serve bread and some olive oil complimentary, and I love me some bread and good quality olive oil. We also got the bruschetta trio (vegetarian version) and it was so good, beware though its only 3 pieces so kind of small. Between two people it was enough to get started. Mains: Pesto Pizza - do NOT sleep on this, freaking amazing. You could tell the ingredients were fresh, the flavors meshed incredibly together. It came out so hot and fresh, the crust was thin and crispy just the way I love it. I'm going to be back just for this. Cacio e pepe - if you're a cacio e pepe lover, definitely get it here. Just perfection! it was hard to have left overs after this meal. Dessert: If you come here you need to get the hazelnut crunch gelato, SO SO SO GOOD!! Creamy, crunchy, not too sugary, perfect temperature and a decent size. What more can a girl ask for? I hope I've inspired you the visit, I think I just convinced myself to go back after this review.

Yelp
I am in LOVE. My husband and I had been having wild cravings for carbs and decided to go for outdoor dining yesterday since it was in the mid 60s (pretty rare for November!). Here are the reasons why I was amazed: 1. They give you complimentary bread with an olive oil/herb blend. But the beauty is that the bread is infused with the oil versus you having to dip your bread in it. The difference is more delicious bread and no waste in oil! 2. There was a nice heater right above us so we didn't feel cold even when it started getting a little windy. 3. The fusilli basil pasta was so fresh and authentic. I legit DEVOURED this meal. 3. We have done a lot of outdoor dining these past few months, and this was the first restaurant that actually took our information down for contact tracing. Mad respect. Other restaurants need to learn from them! 4. They have a happy hour with a great selection of beer! 5. Bang Cookies is across the street, which is a MUST have for dessert. 6. Grove street and Newark street are pretty to look at, especially during the holidays :) Without a doubt we are going back and trying other items on the menu. This was a solid pick, and I am so glad we stumbled upon it on Yelp!!

Yelp
This is probably the first non-pizza italian restaurant I've tried in JC and was looking forward to a big bowl of pasta. I'd say it was okay overall. The restaurant is small with a few outdoor tables so I wouldn't recommend a large group. Bruschetta trio - the olive one was way too salty. The tomato bruschetta and pesto were both good and tasted very fresh. Cacio e pepe- this is the dish we were recommended but we found it to be very bland. It needed more cheese, more pepper, and definitely more salt. Gramigna - It was good but with minor tweaks, it would have been great. The pasta was cooked well but again, we felt this pasta dish was slightly underseasoned. The flavors were very subtle and I wanted more. The portions of pasta were decent and I was able to take leftovers for lunch. The prices are good, especially for wine.

Yelp
This place is in the heart of jersey city. well known for its indoor Ambiance and Italian food. Food: authentic, fresh. Pesto, bread. Location: downtown. Hard to find parking. Seating: 8-10 tables. Service: quick One of the best Italian restaurants in Jersey City.

Yelp
Tl;dr: Go. For two kinda hungry people, go and order the gramigna con salsiccia (sausage and rosemary pasta) and a margherita pizza. Split both 50/50. Get a blood orange spritz if you drink. Finish with Nonna's cookies and salted caramel gelato eaten together. Thank me later. I would like to preface this review by saying that both my roommate and I have cried a little bit over romantic troubles in Roman Nose. More than once. It is one of the default "I'm having a bad day" dinner options, both for dine-in and for takeout. The vibe of the place, especially during off-peak days or hours, is so cozy and comforting. It's nice and intimate enough for a date, but laid back and non-pretentious enough that you can have a shitty day and come here for a pick-me-up. The food is damn good. The pastas are good, and the portions are big. Generally we order the ragu and the sausage and rosemary one. They're both excellent, though the ragu is on tagliatelle which is a weird choice. Not bad, strictly, just confusing since it does make it kind of hard to get sauce into your mouth. The margherita pizza is delicious, and the mozz that they put on it is insanely good. But the real winner for me is the dessert. Nonna's cookies and the salted caramel gelato, eaten together. Is this kind of stupid and expensive? Yes. Is it worth every penny? Also yes. One of the waiters (who was EXTREMELY funny) put me onto it and I haven't looked back.

Yelp
Just called and attempted to place an order over the phone. I was told that I would have to go online and place the order I made two attempts to place the order and I received notification that the restaurant is no longer taking orders online for today I called back and bought this to their attention. Their response was, they apologize but they're not taking any more orders online so I asked can I place an order over the phone in the response was no that my only option would be to come in and place the order and wait for it to be done. This is unacceptable and a bad business practice. But they won't have to worry about my business or referrals. Thank you!

Yelp
Nice little spot. Good atmosphere and service was good. Full bar. We were a party of 8, we all had main courses plus a pizza, and two salads for appetizers. Non of the main courses come with salad or sides but the portions are large and plentiful. The eggplant parmigiana was not hot enough and the cheese inside was not even melted, the chicken Marsala was so so. The rest had pasta dishes (see pictures) were tasty.

Yelp
Amazing food. Point blank period. I don't have to even say much just go. Ruby is the best waitress ever and made my wedding night an absolute success!

Yelp
So I was torn between giving this place a 3.5 or a 4 honestly. Which we could give half's. Came to RN with a friend that's been here a few times. Parking in that area is terrible, but that's not RN's fault. It still took away from the experience because I spent almost 40 minutes trying to find parking on a Friday night. They don't take reservations and it was about a 20 minute wait for 2 people, which wasn't terrible since the place is kind of small. I had the pasta and shrimp and not pizza based on recommendation from everyone's comments. To drink, I had the Bellini. They also provided complimentary bread soaked in olive oil. I enjoyed my shrimp and pasta but felt it needed a bit of a kick so I asked for red pepper flakes. The Bellini was on recommendation from our waitress and it was interestingly good. I wasn't a fan of any of the dessert options. BTW The Canoli and Nutella gelato are no longer on the money This is a solid spot because I loved our waitress and the food was decent. I just wish they had better dessert options.

Yelp
Food was good and fresh. But I'm so sad to say it was a little crazy with the staff. Long time to wait for drinks and just not knowledge of the menu. Maybe they were new but the food was good. I had spaghetti and it was awesome my wife loved her salmon. But it's needing an upgrade on efficiency.

Yelp
Mostly good for its location, service, and some food. We came and tried some pasta, a pizza, and salad. I thought some of the food was perhaps a bit too salty for my taste. The margarita pizza was good... but not amazing. I had to use the pizza to help eat the salty pasta. I think it's a great place to try once but I'm not sure I feel the need to go back when there are so many other places.

Yelp
Not a bad place but nothing exclusive either. About 6-8 tables outside for seating. Service was friendly but very busy - perhaps we caught them on a short staffed day because our meal took forever to come. Reasonably priced and good portions. Food was average, not very memorable. We had a classic Margherita pizza and eggplant. Great location, worth dropping by for a quick bite/drink.

Yelp
Delightful team last night with Claire and Anna. We'd never been there (not local JD folks!) and fell in after a great poetry reading at the Art House. Delicious dinner and wine, reasonably priced, every walk of life and age of customer. The staff were terrific. Well done!

Yelp
Fantastic house made pasta and especially a fan of their carbonara. Don't miss the pesto pizzetta!
