Delicious and innovative cuisine. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Great outdoor space. Just an absolute pleasure to visit the restaurant.

I recently stayed at Romantik Hotel Rindenmühle and it surpassed my expectations. The moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but what made my stay memorable was the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Lucas, our server. Lucas was amazing! He went the extra mile to make sure our dining experience was unforgettable. He was friendly, attentive, and had a great personality that made us feel happy and at ease. He also had extensive menu knowledge and provided excellent food and whiskey pairing recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend Romantik Hotel Rindenmühle. The staff is friendly and attentive, the rooms are comfortable and stylish, and the food is outstanding. If you're fortunate enough to have Lucas as your server, you're in for a treat.

Had dinner in the restaurant 14.10. I ordered the Venison Stew and was brought a different meal(deer saddle). The waiter didn’t offer to change and just apologised. As we received the bill, it reflected the price of the incorrect meal and the bill was almost forcefully asked us to sign without letting us check so we ended up paying more. Oh well. Ambiance was fine and meals were just okey. Pity.

Updated due to impolite response from the hotel- Low score is because the room was significantly older/different than showed on the website photos. We did complain shortly after check in to the person at reception however were told that this specific room is in the older part of the hotel. At the time of check out hotel gave us 20 euros of discount

The location is a bit outside of the worth seeing city center of Villingen and right next to a public swimming pool. A train line runs right behind the house, but thanks to the soundproof windows, it can hardly be heard. A few steps away is a Kurgarten called garden, but it doesn’t look well maintained. The Hotel itself is run by the family that owns it and attaches great importance to high-quality food and personal service. That explains the positive reviews but also the restaurant prices, which are perceived as high. Inside the complex there is a pretty open courtyard that gives a pleasant ambience. The main building is surrounded by a lawn garden and there’s also a smaller outdoor pool and a well-kept sauna/wellness area. The rooms and bathrooms are pleasantly spacious and offer the expected amenities of a 4* Hotel.

I stayed here one night on a business trip. While the room was a bit on the small side, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I had an early departure and they had their full breakfast buffet prepared an hour early just for me.||This hotel is a bit out of town, so if you're wanting to be able to stroll around the old part of VS this isn't a good location. But if you're looking for peace & quiet, this is a great option.

If you are a Laura Ashley fan you won't be disappointed.... Otherwise, be prepared for a rather cheesy decoration. Rooms are fairly small, but still comfortable andnquiet (we were afraid when we heard a train on the afternoon when we arrived, but we didn't hear anything at night). Breakfast is excellent with lots of local and homemade products (eggs from the owners' hens!, homemade smoked fish,etc.). Location is very poor, in the middle of nowhere with nothing particularly pleasant to look at from the windows... The hotel restaurant looked good (and we should probably had better eat there thn go to Vilingen to eat...)

Stayed here one night on business. Absolutely stunning grounds with a creek and pond complete with fish and ducks. Long bike/walking trail throughout the property as well. The room was beautiful with high ceilings and gorgeous decor. Bathtub was huge! Absolutely loved this place. The restaurant was very expensive, but the service was top notch. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples and/or vacation. Loved it.
