I went in based upon the cornucopia of goods on display in the window. I was only after one 4 inch butt hinge for an internal door. Sold me a pair for 99p and 43p for 10, 2 inch screws. Very impressed by the shop and the amount of stock in it. Thought I would have to pay £7 for the hinges alone and I only wanted one. An independent shop selling items at a reasonable price. Would recommend, pretty good for a shop in that post code in Brewer Street.

Found the lock I needed on their website at £39. Traveled to store and they wanted £63. When i showed them the website they said thats delivery only however website states 'collect at Soho store only" Surely this is not legal? Did not buy obviously.

Very good local ironmongers. Good range of cupboard hinges and other decent quality hardware. Invaluable for anyone in the West End who needs to do some repair work or similar. Staff could be a bit friendlier, but they are quite knowledgable.

Terribly rude older man.

A very wide range of DIY goods of all types but staff seem to be annoyed that you're there. 'The boss' couldn't be bothered to get up off his stool to help me find something when I was having difficulty - just kept saying 'it's over there' then stared into space. Then it was a matter of twisting his arm to find out if I could return something if it wasn't right. If service matters to you as it does to me, avoid this place.

Friendly service and very helpful in find what I needed - literally have everything and anything! Manager Dilip was great in helping me find what i needed and offered loads of advice! One stop shop - Best in Piccadilly!
