Roma's Italian Bistro

By far one of my favorite local restaurants. I love coming here whenever I can - and I'm not even the greatest fan of Italian food, normally. Incredible food and ample portions for surprisingly reasonable prices, along with some of the friendliest servers you'll find. (thanks Albin!)

Super cute little restaurant, it was very busy but we still got great service and only stood in line for maybe 3 minutes before we were seated. 🍝 We got multiple dishes to try and we absolutely loved everything !!! 🐷 It was all delicious, fresh, well made yummy food. Seasoned well, great portions, and great customer service! 🍞🧄🧀 Our waitress Jessica was amazing even though it was so busy! We are very happy with this restaurant and will be back asap. This place is so good that I ordered twice in a day! Was craving spaghetti so I googled and this place came up, I placed an order online and went to pick up and I finished all of it! As I was leaving the restaurant, I saw a family who ordered a pizza and it looked yummy! Thought to myself I’d order another time, well later in the evening I ordered through Uber eats, and let me tell you this pizza is super tasty! Beats out dominos, and these other pizza places, you will now have a frequent customer! Thank you Roma’s of OC 😍 EDIT; and the CHEESECAKE????? A slice straight out of heaven, my goodness it’s delicious!

The food is good, but I have been going to Roma’s for 20 years and it seems like they recently cut the portions in half. Now you get kids sized bowls but of course, you are paying the same price as with the larger portions were before.

This is a great family-run restaurant in close proximity to Bishop Arts. Everything I’ve had here has been delicious, fresh, and filling. Light meal with the Chicken Caesar salad, or filling pizza or calzone. The fried calamari is good, the mozzarella sticks gooey and amazing and the bruschetta is delicious. (If you’re ordering to go, they package it so nothing gets soggy.) The chicken caesar salad is a great light lunch. The stuffed mushrooms have seafood and they are very tasty. Complimentary bread is fresh, buttery with a hint of garlic. The portion of spaghetti with mushrooms is pretty generous 🍝 (although I ask for extra mushrooms). I have tried most of the pastas plus the chicken and eggplant parmigiana and all have been tasty and made fresh. All the toppings on the pizzas have been fresh and there’s plenty of them. The owner and the rest of the staff is friendly and welcoming, with a bright and inviting atmosphere. Big windows let in light, the TV is never too loud, and the music is eclectic. Plus the new mural on the west side of the building makes it insta-worthy. Free parking all around the building. There’s only one thing missing: If they sold coffee I might be here every day! 🍝😋

A great addition to the neighborhood! Been wanting to try and finally stopped in for Saturday lunch. Was early so not crowded. Loved the bread they brought while we decided on what to order. Try the shrimp scampi and the pasta sampler(3 types of pasta in red sauce and lots of cheese). Delicious. Was kind of early for drinks so will have to come back to try some wine and Spritzer cocktail options. Placed was very clean and servers super friendly and helpful getting to know the menu.

FOOD & SERVICE was very good . The waitress was friendly too. The bread and my fettucini and sausage with spinach were delicious. Also, everybody was hot and fresh. Thanks Ron

Had lunch there yesterday. I read alot of great reviews prior to our visit. The bread basket was flavorful, fresh and warm. The best I can say is that the portions were very generous all around. We ordered calamari as an app. IDK what happened, but it was SUPER SALTY! At first I thought it was the breading. Then I ordered the Pasta Combo which was covered in red sauce/ marinara and realized it was the sauce that was so salty. OMG! It was soooo salty, I could only eat like 4 bites. I've never had anything that salty from a restaurant before. Surely something serious went wrong with this batch of marinara. Nobody would come back for more if it's always salty. My friend said his Philly cheesesteak was very good. I ordered a chicken parmigiana sub to go. The hubby liked it. A very good sized portion. The margarita pizza was pretty bad and very disappointing , nothing like the photo on the website! Barely any cheese at all and thin coating of red sauce in spots. It was dry and flavorless except for some chopped basil here and there. Wish I'd taken a photo. Too bad all around. We won't be back.

This is a cute Italian spot in the heart of oak cliff. It's cute and homey with large portions of all your Italian faves. Can't go wrong! They can accommodate larger groups or small parties, just plan ahead.

Excellent table service!! The server was kind, attentive, and even served our pizza for us right in front of us. The owner came by and thanked us for coming in. And the starter bread is perfect!! 10/10 would recommend

Went here for some food after a few drinks. The service was slow even though the restaurant was mostly empty. We were not in a rush so didn't really bother us though. The food was ok, but nothing great. Starts off with free bread for the table which was soft and good. The stuffed mushrooms were a little disappointing as it was only like four mushrooms covered in a ton of sauce with the fake crab. For my entree, I got the chicken carciofi. The sauce and artichokes were delicious on this plate. However, the chicken was dry and overcooked which made it a little underwhelming.

So, my aunt recommended this place which I am glad she did this was our first time here with my family. It has been here since November so it's still not even a year old. It's on the corner of tyler and Jefferson so it's an easy place to miss while driving. When walking in you walk in to a nice blue and white restaurant. They have a full bar which is great. So we had a lot of food and I have to say it was very delicious my family said all of there dishes were great I had the chicken Francis which was yummy I loved the lemon flavor. Our server Hector was just great he was able to recommend some great dishes. The place is a very welcoming place where friends and family can come enjoy. So if you are in the neighborhood of oakcliff and wanting some good food you will not be disappointed with this place. Thanks for some great food.

I have been here several times and can say that if you want a great meal at an awesome price that is family friend; please come here. Tuesdays $2 draft beer all day! Wednesday 1/2 off bottles of wine! And happy hour is Tues- Fri from 3pm -6pm. The service has always been on point! Friendly, quick and the food is delish. I usually get the lasagna with grilled chicken on top. Add to the those buttered rolls! omg, your in for a treat. This is a family owned restaurant and actually feel good about spending my money here. Really good people. Hope your able to stop by and/or put them on your rotation.

I took my 4 year old to eat at Roma's for fun, and it was such a wonderful experience! The Chicken Marsala = chef's kiss. The waitress was so sweet and attentive to my little one and I. We will for sure be back!

Outstanding food!! Portions are awesome and everything taste as amazing as it smells! My boyfriend and I went for the first time just a couple days ago and woke up craving it again, so we had to go back! You are always welcomed with a smile and great service, you definitely need to try this place out! Awesome date spot, or there's even space for a celebration! 10/10

I was craving a pizza pie, and didn't want to drive all over town for one, and found this hidden gem. The pie was ok, not bad, but I'm particular about how it is made. The staff was outstanding, and the ambience is wonderful. I'll have to come back for dinner.

The "ribeye" steak I ordered had little resemblance to the photo online. It was about 1/4 inch thick and gristly. The chicken orders by my wife and daughter were better, but too salty. It is nice to have the customer have the option to add salt. The waitress was polite and competent.

We love the food here! I have never actually dined in but we regularly get it to go. All of the pasta dishes that we've tried are amazing but my favorite is the tortellini. The portions are huge and also come with bread. The food is always hot and fresh.

Great prices, and great food. They deliver to locals in the area, and the inside is very nicely finished out if you're looking to dine in. They have a limited wine and booze menu, but I'm sure that will grow with time. It's definitely worth a try!

Roma's has been open for about three weeks now and we decided to try it since we were craving pasta and wanted somewhere close in the Oak Cliff area. It is spacious and welcoming as soon as you walk in, and the service is excellent! I ordered the eggplant rolatini while my fiance had the chicken parmesan. The food is tasty and the portions are generous. There are also so many menu items to choose from like pizza, calzones, salads, and even have cheesecake! It's kid friendly and they'll have a full service bar in a week. Roma's will surely see us as regulars now.

It sux. Since the proprietor appeared to be Italian, I expected the food to be authentic. No such luck. The spaghetti was overcooked and soggy. The sauce was thin, watery and tasteless. The bread was stale. I ordered take out and my food was ready quickly, but I can't really speak to the service. The decor wasn't really what I expected from an Italian restaurant. Was more like an American diner. I cannot recommend this place.

True to shops you will find in Naples. Settled my nerves as if I had just left the ship.

We used to love this place, especially when it first opened, but the past 5-6 visits have been terrible, and this last dinner was the final straw. They completely forgot about our order -- first, a pizza left in the oven until it burned and then an order of pasta just never made. Our waters were left empty, we got only one order of bread (after asking for it twice), and we were otherwise completely ignored. And we were the ONLY table in the restaurant aside from the staff's family (kids running everywhere). Customers are an inconvenience here, which is such a shame because the food is good! But we've given them too many chances and they've failed each time. We won't be back.

The food was great! Judith recommend some local favorites and they did not disappoint! We will definitely be coming back again to try some other recommend dishes.

We've never had much luck with mom and pop Italian restaurants, but Roma's is a terrific exception! We've been back two or three times now and each visit is better than the last. In addition, the prices are really reasonable for what you get. The portions are generous and the staff is friendly. Add a full bar and what more do you need?? Highly recommend! I don't give five stars often, but they deserve every single one of them!

So happy to have a clean, affordable family restaurant in the neighborhood. We went for lunch and got the chicken picatta and the Stromboli. We would get both dishes again and will return!

Was scammed by Roma's. They overcharged from an advertised price for two XL pizzas. We were quoted $30 for two XL pizzas and they charge us $40 and said they would not honor their publicly posted sales price. When confronted, they refused to do anything to remedy the situation. This was our fifth time eating there. Embarrassingly terrible customer service. We will not be back and urge others to not reward a business ripping people off. Go someone else in Oak Cliff that doesn't lie and cheat their way to a buck.

My family and I have been here several times since they opened and we've never been disappointed. I think my favorite is the complimentary garlic bread. I can't remember the last restaurant to ever give you bread for the table. We've enjoyed the pizza and pastas so far. My mom had the mozzarella caprese appetizer for an entree and it was delicious. Lasagne was really good too.

Very good Italian food, large portions so everyone walks out full and satisfied, will be back soon.

There was a lot of hype about this place on a neighborhood Facebook group, which I don't understand. I put it somewhere between fazoli's and Olive Garden.

Great food! Highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms. Went during the Super Bowl & was able to watch the game and enjoy a great pasta!

I absolutely love this place! Hunter is THE BEST server there is (maybe I'm biased because he's the only one we've had lol)! His knowledge on food and great taste is amazing! My husband and I have had the chicken and shrimp sunrise, which is phenomenal, the rigatoni, the Stromboli, the rigatoni in spicy Alfredo sauce (my ABSOLUTE FAVE), and the ribeye Marsala. My husband and I have yet to be disappointed! The ambiance is perfect. Very relaxed, homey, yet elegant! I'm so happy to have an Italian bistro close to home! And did we mention that we LOVE Italian food! We have been to this bistro twice in one week, back to back ! I highly recommend this amazing bistro!

Where to start? Super friendly staff, gorgeous interior, and the best Italian food I've had in recent memory. Coworkers and I had lunch there. The portions were the perfect size and more than reasonably priced. I had manicotti with chicken, and it came to the table piping hot. Can't wait to go back! Oh--they even have free delivery!

We live in the neighborhood and have been meaning to try this place for a while now. Parking is tough but not impossible. Loved the restaurant. Food was terrific as was the service. I had Veal Marsala and my wife had a Calzone, both very good. We also have had pizza from here, via delivery. The pizza was also very good. We will be back for sure

Had a great family dining experience. North Oak Cliff has needed a decent moderate Italian restaurant & convenient on Jefferson away from the crowds of Bishop Arts. Loved the warm bread. Pastas & calzone we're solid. Friendly attentive service.

Delivery driver can't read addresses. Very poor service from a "family owned" business. Thank you for leaving our order 2 doors down at the abandoned house. Also, the app "slice" is garbage and you use it as a shield for your crappy service.
