First to review!
Well deserved 5/5 stars. I previously reviewed the other location in East Williamsburg, but after coming to the new location, I wholeheartedly give this place a perfect 5/5 star.
I've been to a good 40+ pizza joints in my lifetime and I've literally gone from Rome to Brooklyn and Brooklyn to Rome during the summers for Agosto with my Italian partner back to his hometown in lazio. Namely, Lucalis's, l'industrie, Fini, Di Fara, Luigi's, John on Bleeker, MyPie, Upside, Paulie Gees, Scarrs, Mamas Too, etc. This place deserves a rightful place in hall of fame for top 3 pizzas in all of NYC.
The pizza here is thin, albeit some other thicker pizzas are Sicilian style, but delicious in a different style. Very light and not heavy or greasy, you could easily scarf a few slices! My personal poison are the garlic knots. Best garlic knots in all of NYC.
The owner Aurel is a super nice down to earth guy, and he is the stereotypical friendly neighborhood pizza owner.
A definite favorite pizza joint I visit frequently, and now I don't have to go all the way to East Williamsburg anymore! Convenient for my desires, dangerous for my waistline
