As a tenant for 2 years. My daughter and her college friend rented a 1 bedroom at Ronan. Both college students at txwes. So, it worked for their commute to school. Great location and easy access to highways. That is the best thing about the apartment. It's an old place so some of the apartments have been renovated. But not apt 270. The price was good for 2 college students. Upon moving in, they had a roach problem. Then the washer backed up and flooded the restroom. It was awful. Now that they have moved out, the manager Lorena and Adriana is stating that the tub has to be resurfaced and it's 185$ for 2 clipped spots and discoloration. However the tub was resurfaced before and maybe numerous times before they moved in. The bottom of the tub was so gritty and bumpy, we put a bath mat in it. But that's our fault. It's old. The restroom cabinet were basically falling apart. The maintenance guy finally came to fix the washer and simply glued the cabinet. It's particle board. There are other things I'm ok paying for but, the tub is a basic wear and tear. If moisture is on it, it will peel. Stop pasting and taping things and renovate those apartments. Oh, and let's not forget about the big pothole entering the complex. There's secured gates but they are never utilized. And yes, management is rude. After one manager stated we can make payment arrangements the other one, Lorena threaten to send it to collections.
Renter's beware.
