Today I went to Ronin at Five Hotels and Resorts with a friend and what an incredible surprise from beginning to end! The hotel itself is stunning, but I had never been to this restaurant before and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The service was impeccable with Shu that greeted us with a genuine smile throughout the entire evening, attentive and welcoming at every step. We started with fresh sushi that was beautifully prepared, each piece bursting with flavor. For our main course, I had the best prawns I’ve ever tasted perfectly cooked and paired with a rich, tasty soy sauce and an asian style rice. To finish, we enjoyed a bowl of mixed frituras, perfectly balanced with the vanila ice cream. The space itself is fantastic: the interior is inspired by traditional Japanese design with a modern twist! And the views over the marina are also breathaking. Can’t wait to come back!!

I have visited Ronin restaurant for Japanese omakase lunch. That was unforgettable experience! Restaurant welcoming guests with such an authentic Japanese traditions! They have very beautiful traditional interior and such amazing views from terrace! Omakase menu includes a lot of variety of traditional food and sushi. All dishes were very tasty. Also I want to mention staff work, they are very professional, helpful and kind. Our table was served by waiter Hsu, she did amazing job, she was very attentive and helpful. I really like this place! Will be back here again.

We were staying in Sofitel JBR and chose Ronin at Five Luxe for a business dinner which was just 15 mins walk from our hotel and it turned out to be an excellent choice. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable attentive, professional, and seamless. We were welcomed warmly, seated promptly, and our orders were taken with great care and attention to detail. The setting and view really elevated the experience and added a special touch to the evening. We ordered the special of the day, the tomahawk, along with a selection of other dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The quality of the food, flavours, and presentation were all outstanding. Overall, Ronin strikes the perfect balance between refined dining and a relaxed atmosphere. A great spot for business dinners as well as special occasions. Highly recommended.

An unforgettable dining experience The food was absolutely outstanding refined, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, truly deserving of its Michelin star. However, what made the experience even more special was the exceptional service provided by Carlo. Carlo’s warmth, friendliness, and genuine joy elevated the entire evening. His recommendations were spot on, and his ability to explain the dishes and guide us through the menu made the experience feel both personal and memorable. He struck the perfect balance between professionalism and approachability, making us feel comfortable and truly taken care of. This was not just a great meal, but a complete dining experience. Thanks to the incredible cuisine and Carlo’s outstanding service, it’s a place we will definitely return to and highly recommend.

A truly wonderful Japanese🇯🇵 restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and outstanding service. The staff is incredibly attentive and warm, making you feel welcome from the very first moment🔥😻 The food is exceptional the scallops with crab and mushrooms were absolutely exquisite, 😋perfectly balanced and full of delicate flavor. The cocktails are refined and beautifully crafted, adding an extra touch of sophistication to the evening🫶🏼 With its stylish interior, delicious cuisine, and flawless service, this place is a real gem. The service was brilliant, the views were absolutely stunning and the food was unreal - especially the noodles and shrimp popcorn. We had the omakase set menu, didn’t disappoint! Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in Dubai… will be back!

A stylish Sunday night at Ronin, we had the multi-course Omakase and it was excellent – beautifully plated, bold flavours, and a great balance between refined technique and indulgent comfort. Highlights included fresh, flavour-packed sushi, indulgent grilled skewers, and a surprisingly excellent fried rice. The atmosphere is dramatic and immersive with the red lantern ceiling setting the mood perfectly. Jonelyn and Kaish were exceptional – warm, attentive, and paced the experience perfectly. An ideal Sunday night out.
