We were a group of five and ordered the lunch menu: two nigiri menus to share among four people, and one maki menu.
What arrived, however, was completely off: half the nigiri portions, and an excessive amount of maki, which was the cheaper option. They corrected it after we complained, but the mix-up felt scammy and unprofessional.
The quality of the food didn’t redeem the experience. The rice of the sushi was cold, and the fish was small and lacked distinction, there was virtually no difference in taste between the o-toro and the salmon.
They also drenched the dishes in soy sauce; in proper Japanese restaurants, you’re given only a small amount.
The Wagyu skewers tasted like chicken.
I mark the mocktail AMATERASU as the highlight of the lunch, a really amazing drink. The edamame was good and the mochi at the end was decent, but overall the meal was disappointing
