I had the chicken ravioli. I wasn't a fan of the balsamic vinaigrette drizzle on it. I believe without it would have made my meal better. The drink and the salad with the house Caesar dressing was really good. The overall atmosphere and service was great.

Google
Beautiful restaurant. I went with my best friend for the first time. I wanted authentic Italian cuisine and this did not disappoint. Everything was beyond delicious. I ordered the asparagus bisque and the chicken ravioli. The cream in the ravioli was such a different and welcoming flavor. Definitely exceeded my expectations. My friend ordered the spaghetti and ravioli and also enjoyed her meal. Our server, Tiffany, who says she’s been there 3 years was amazing. Top tier customer service. I’ve eaten at many restaurants and this is definitely a top 3. The prices match that of “similar” restaurants like Ruth Chris or Stoney river but the food far surpassed what I’ve had at other “high end” places and is actually worth the price. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Google
Service= amazing! Calamari = delicious! Pizza and pasta = the best in Memphis! Seriously, the best meal. We have had the steaks, pasta, chicken parmesan and the fish! We keep coming back because it’s consistently fabulous! Even the bread - so good!

Google
We had a group of 23 go for dinner last night and everything was perfect. The food all came out at the same time and was very good, our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had individual checks and they were all accurate. Our large group has gone to other restaurants and some people are finished eating before others get their food and the bills are all wrong. Unfortunately I did not get our servers name, but he did an outstanding job. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Google
Very busy when I went but still great service. Loved the ambiance and music playing. I started with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, they also had one from California if you prefer that. Then order the seasoned loaf of bread that is precut in slices for you and served warm. It’s called Pane All’aglio. Then I got the ceased salad. They make the dressing in house. It was super yummy! For my main course I ordered the Elfo Special. It had such great flavor! I would recommend the place and everything I ate.

Food was awesome! Tuscan butter was amazing. Our server, Sally was sweet, confident, and took good care of us. Plus they have a few vegetarian/vegan options, which was very helpful. Overall, it was a great experience!

Google
Restaurant was clean and dimly lit, like you’d hope an old school Italian place would be. Our server was great - available & helpful, but not overbearing. We got the toasted ravioli appetizer at her recommendation, and it was pretty terrible. Dry and mealy ravioli, akin to what you might expect from your freezer section. Under-salted and over-oreganoed. My manicotti was not amazing, but decent - the best thing of our meal. Husband’s lobster pizza was so overrun by bacon he couldn’t taste the minimal lobster it came with. And it was $100 after tip. We don’t spend money like that often, so it’s a bummer to feel it was so very not worth it.

John Kasper

Google
Without a doubt the best Italian you’ll find in Memphis. Romantic atmosphere. Great for a date lunch or dinner. Good thing I don’t live close or I’d be here way too often. Very unassuming front door. Don’t walk past it.

Yelp
Dined here after a day trip to the Zoo based on friends recommendations. Greeted well, and had reservations. Was not busy, but booked anyways cause we came in from out of town. No sweat tea, were offered simple syrup since I don't do any of those artificial sweeteners. This would be .5 star deduction, we are in South. (Yes that helped, but not the same) Waitress was pleasant, but had vibe we just couldn't place? She did well, and our service was just better than average, but not over the top. Not anything really wrong, just not sure how to describe our experience. We still tipped well and hoping helper got part of it since she left before we finished, and other did deserts. We started off with Tuscan Butter appetizer. The mixture was good, & the bread was very warm/fresh. Wife ordered Ravioli w/ traditional sauce. She said it was light & filling and just about right portion. M.I.L. ordered Chicken Ravioli since not a red sauce fan. She finished it, & said would order it again. (Picky) I got the Lobster Pizza. (Uploaded a photo as well) This was fabulous and one of the best I've ever had. Normally don't do desserts, but... everything is made in house. So wife got Tiramisu and Millionaire Pie for myself. My M.I.L. will not eat sweets. Both were divine... Over I rate this a 4.5, but Yelp is whole stars only, so they get a 4. Would I come again? Yes, if we we were in the area. (Not locals)

Yelp
We went for lunch for my Nana's 94th birthday. It was a wonderful ambiance, service was great, and everyone was very happy with their orders. If I go again I will be getting the manicotti or the ravioli :) it is a great place for a special occasion

Yelp
Went to have lunch with friends Tuesday. Our food was delicious. I ordered a Miss Mary's l vinaigrette salad with grilled chicken. It was very tasty. I also saved room for the homemade tiramisu. It was very light and I could taste the coffee flavors throughout. The decor is quite nice with a calm and sophisticated ambience. The decorations are simple and classic with nice lamps on the tables. There was a beautifully painted mural of Italy on the wall. Our server was very cordial but had some challenges throughout our lunch. She had our large party as well as another large party. She may have been the only wait staff present for lunch that day. There was another young lady assisting our server from time to time. We had to wait a long time for our checks and food. When we received our checks there was some confusion. She was able to correct all the checks and we did depart soon after. The prices are somewhat comparable to other restaurants in the area. My salad was 17.00 and was a good size. The bathroom was nice and clean. I may return to try other items.

Yelp
Ok so I wanted authentic 100% real Italian food and found out about this place called Ronnie Grisanti's and it was incredible. The food was excellent the service was perfect and the staff was very friendly even on my birthday they showed love; I was so touched by the way they were so kind to me I tipped but the choices in cocktails and drinks definitely great pastas appetizers even pizza and salad but wish I gotten pizza though maybe next time when I go back in a couple of weeks with a date maybe. My experience overall solid 5 stars I will be returning and yes I highly recommend this place because of you don't like the food than come for the drinks or just to get away from stress or whatever I suggest this is where you want to go.

Yelp
The ambiance had the Perfect setting. It felt like I was in New York in an Italian restaurant. From the lighting, the style of furniture, the pictures, and the music gave the right mixture of New York City in Memphis. I started off with the appetizer Ravioli. Again, if your not use to authentic Italian cuisine, the food will be a disappointment. Reason being, they focus on authentic and traditional. I love cheese in ALL dishes. Their ravioli lacked cheese which made the ravioli dry. I ordered a dish that had stuff chicken breast. Per my liking, it was dry as well due to being stuffed and the overcooking. Breast are meant to juicy. However, the pasta and the mushrooms in this dish's was absolutely delicious and favorably.

Yelp
I am always here! I love Italian food! Ronnie Grisanti's dining experience is amazing. The minute you walk in, you are greeted with a smile. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I enjoy the fresh peppers being added to my meal and the cheese grated on top of my pasta until I say stop. This establishment is great for date night, dinner with friends&family, or drinks. They have two party rooms if you plan on having a big dinner there. It's not loud at all, you can only hear your conversation with the person in front of you. I always order Tuscan butter to start as my appetizer, Caesar salad, and the Elfo Special for my entree.

Yelp
The best Italian restaurant in Memphis!! Love Ronnie's !!!! Great food- service is always good! Pizza and miss mary's salad is delicious!

Yelp
Our dinner was delightful. There were 6 of us and our waitress was attentive and helpful regarding menu suggestions. We ordered appetizer special consisting of grilled shrimp on white beans with tomatoes. It was great. I had wedge salad followed by chicken ravioli with white cream sauce and drizzle of balsamic. It was delicious. For dessert I had a flight of gelato. Salted Carmel, vanilla and pistachio. They were so accommodating. The flight was not on the menu and I couldn't decide which one so I asked and they happily obliged.

Yelp
Had a very good dinner here on a Tuesday (or Wednesday?) night around the holidays. There is ample parking and they had huge spotlights in the parking lot. So we felt fine parking and walking in. It was pretty empty but a few tables were having what seemed to be holiday dinners. So they can accommodate groups. My friend and I walked in with no reservation and were seated promptly. I decided to have the Peppermint Patty martini which was so tasty. It was garnished with an actual peppermint patty which made for a nice finish. For my entrée, I had the chicken parm, which is mostly chicken and cheese with angel hair pasta underneath the chicken. As the server said, it's enough pasta for each bite. No more than that so don't expect a big pile of pasta. That said, the meal was delicious. The chicken was flavorful with a nice crunch, the red sauce was bold and tangy, and the pasta paired well. By the way, there is complimentary bread with oil/balsamic vinegar. I think it's a great place to have cocktails at the bar, catch up with friends over a nice dinner, or to take a nice date. Feel free to dress for the occasion (we were pretty dressy) because the ambiance calls for that. I loved the experience and I will be back.

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
Great food, great service, and warm and welcoming atmosphere. Food is better than ever with good specials. Catered our holiday employee luncheon and got rave reviews from everyone.

Yelp
From start to finish, this restaurant truly gets it! Great food menu, wine by the glass and cocktail menu, service is outstanding and the decor is very warm, cozy and elegant. My fiancé had a salad and the pork chop di Nico, I had the burrata special and the parmigiana di melanzane, all were excellent! We had the cookies and cream cheesecake for dessert, amazing. Andrew L. was our server, he was very knowledgeable about the wine and food menu!

Eric G.

Yelp
Ronnie Grisantis is in our monthly rotation of good eats. The food is always great and, in our opinion, they have the best chicken Parm in town. The staff is always friendly and do a great job; Randi is always making her rounds to ensure the dining experience is everything it should be. If you have a sweet tooth... don't forget to ask them about their million dollar pie!
google avatar

Mackenzie S.

Yelp
Amazing service and food! We are return customers and will continue to come back! Always a great time!

Robin G.

Yelp
Nice ambiance. Waitress was attentive; although, she did not share her name. Lasagna was fair - lots of cheese covering it; small portion; 2-layers, not very tasteful. My husband had spaghetti with meatballs; sauce tasted burnt. This restaurant was recommended by a hotel employee who said it was 'authentic Italian.' We are Italian and unfortunately our dinners were not authentic.

Yelp
Stopped in today during a training held onsite. Luckily, we were able to be seated as we didn't have a reservation. The lunch menu is pretty straightforward. I selected the blackened delta catfish, turnip greens, and the salad. Everything was delicious. The only issue we experienced along with a few other patrons was the water. We corrected it by simply ordering a Dr. Pepper, as we were told, we couldn't bring in bottled water but could order one from them.

Yelp
Bring your pocketbook for this one cause the price tags are pretty. The place is set up nice with a relaxing atmosphere. They had a pretty good play list of music while there. The food was darn good. The wedge salad was full of flavor from the blue cheese and bacon with super crisp lettuce. The stuffed chicken was finger licking lip smacking delicious. The pizza was really good too. I would have liked to have had more sauce and perhaps having balsamic vinegar drizzle over the top. Now the cheesecake was popping, super creamy. And the cannolis were good as well but they taste even better later that day! Is super crispy and the filling was smooth and thick. Overall the experience was cool and the service was okay. I will revisit for another round.

Yelp
I'm writing this review while I'm waiting on my dessert so it will be fresh in my brain. This is a fancy Italian restaurant in a nice part of town. The service is top notch. My server took care of me like I was a big spender. The tables and booths are high end, the chairs are padded and the wine list is two pages long. I had the lasagna and broccolini. It was delicious. The beef was a little overcooked but not enough to ruin the dish. The atmosphere is of a fancy Italian restaurant "BUT" they have a bar. In this bar they have two televisions playing sports. The restaurant is not very big, so the sound from the televisions could be heard at my table. I didn't hear any other background music. When I've visited other fancy Italian restaurants I've listened to mandolins and Sinatra. It adds to the ambiance. A television in the background is not what I expected. Luckily I was wearing my little headset. I put on a playlist of Italian jazz to drown out the television. I will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu but I will ask to sit on the opposite side of the restaurant from the bar.

Lauren R.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to take a friend to this place on a Saturday night around 5pm to have some Italian he never had before. The food was not so good as it was three years ago. I ordered the POLLO AL PARMIGIANO which was not really seasoned well and was kind of dried out. I was also unaware that you have to place a reservation before you go although there was hardly anyone there the whole time we were there. I felt like since we were a walk-in, they didn't want us there at all. We also felt so awkward because we were also seated in the middle of the room. The server was nice but I felt like it was rushed so much. I came here three years ago for a bachelorette party and the service and food was good. I don't know what happened with the quality of service and food but I don't think I will be coming back.
google avatar

Todd R.

Yelp
Despite advertising outside their door and online, Ronnie Grisanti's did not offer a Saturday Brunch when we visited on Jan 13th, 2024. I will gladly retract this review when the issue is corrected.
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
Had the pizza. Outstanding! Love the atmosphere. If you go to Memphis stay on the East side or Germantown. This is one of the three best restaurants I've been two.
google avatar

Jackie B.

Yelp
The service and ambiance was excellent. The location was a little difficult to locate from the street. Our meal started off with ravioli, soup and wine . The wine selections were awesome. The ravioli was full of ground beef , but I was hoping for it to include a mix of cheeses and sauce . The soup was okay . For dinner we went with the pizza , red fish and cannoli. The cannoli was pretty good . The fish was good , but a little bland . The pizza was full of cheese, with little sauce . We also ordered dessert - a cheesecake and gelato. They were okay . All of the portions were nice and the pricing was comparable to market .

Schanaque W.

Yelp
I love this restaurant so much! I have brought my staff here who absolutely loved it. I have been on dates here! The food here is amazing, my favorite is the Manicotti. The perfect dining experience regardless if it is lunch or dinner. The other great thing that I enjoy is the welcoming conversations that I have experienced with the Executive Manager, Randi.
google avatar

Penny E.

Yelp
WOW!!! Everytime I go to Ronnie Grisanti's I'm thrilled with the food, the staff, and the atmosphere! It is perfect for business meetings, as well as date night. Last week, I used them for catering and everyone was delighted! They delivered on-time and it was surprisingly affordable. Definitely, will come back time and time again!
google avatar

Catrina T.

Yelp
Always an awesome experience - food and service. It is difficult to get in so make reservations ahead of time. Food always fresh and hot. If ever there is an issue, they will ALWAYS work hard to fix it. Very enjoyable experience.

Al Q.

Yelp
Nothing special and very small portions. Probably will not visit again. Loved the bread, but that's all folks :)

Maggi C.

Yelp
We love going to Ronnie Grisanti's! The food is consistently excellent and we love the staff!!!

Tamren L.

Yelp
Excellent spot for a date or a business dinner and everything in between. Staff has amazing attention to detail. Hosted a birthday dinner here and my server knew just what to do. Wine selection is impeccable although I personally prefer the cocktails. Order the lasagna, it will never be the same anywhere else after.

Ht K.

Yelp
We were there for lunch yesterday. My spouse wishes to come back here. The food quality was not very good like the last time we were here about 2 years ago. I am not sure why we are here. They are really overrated but far than David Grisanti's. Ronnie needs to take notice that his cooking is not up standard than David. The Elfo Special is still not up standard. It was tasteless because the noodles were still watery and not properly strained and the shrimp was over cooked. The Toasted Ravioli was little under cooked. The Caesar Salad, Lobster Pizza and Fried Eggplant with red sauce was the only thing good. The deserts were excellent.
google avatar

CeeCee W.

Yelp
Randi was great help. We served lunch to one of our clients. Grisanti's delivered, set all up! Everyone loved the food....lasagna, chicken Alfredo, garlic bread......Yum.

Jim S.

Yelp
Ate at the bar, Ordered the Pollo Alla Gusi, since the bartender said it was a signature dish. Took awhile to get to me, cut a large piece, and popped it into my mouth. Was chewy and tasted like blood. Turned on the flashlight on my phone to see my plate and got to see raw chicken on my plate. Bartender was decent when o told her, then the manager showed up and wanted to get me another plate of it. I told her to just get me my check, she was not very happy and then said finally "I'll cover the cost, you can just leave"" TERRIBLE SERVICE. and now I wait to see if I get sick. Will definitely never go back. Save yourself the experience.

Rdg R.

Yelp
Very underwhelming. Food was mediocre and well overpriced. There were four of us.. the calamari was soggy, our entrées arrived five minutes apart, the pizzas were undercooked, the chicken Parmesan came with spaghetti on top of it, which for some reason had butter flavoring on it. Calamari, two pizzas, chicken parm, one filet, two cokes four drinks...$297
google avatar

Gavin K.

Yelp
Highly recommended! We came in for apps and a glass of wine at the bar. Ordered the calamari and prosciutto wrapped shrimp. Both were over the to top wonderful! Staffing is tough everywhere these days, but even so, we were well taken care of!

Sue C.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Toasted raviolis and calamari were average. Lobster pizza and gorgonzola filet were excellent. Manicotti and NY Strip were also average. Wine selection was average, too. We were there for an 18th birthday celebration, which we were asked about when we made reservations. However, they do nothing for birthdays except for a free candle in a paid dessert. Next time I dine out for a celebration, I'd go to Brooklyn Bridge or Colletta's for Italian and Folk's Folly for steak and celebratory dessert (cupcake & balloons!)! Considering the price and limited menu, I will not be back.
google avatar

Kelley A.

Yelp
This is now my most favorite Italian restaurant and even better than before. The dinner service was impeccable and the food quality and presentation was exceptional. I do wish they would bring back the Old Ronnie's bruschetta for dinner. I missed that a lot. Their signature Spring cocktails are phenomenal. Try an adult Shirley Temple. It will surprise you. All of the appetizers and entrees listed below are the ones we tried and all are incredible. I recommend them all. Calamari Fritti Tuscan Butter Manicotti Parmigiana de Melanzane (aka Eggplant Parmesan)
google avatar

Justin L.

Yelp
I came in and dined at the bar. I ordered the grilled octopus appetizer, and I was in the mood for a plate of fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The grilled octopus was out of this world! Perfectly grilled pieces of octopus atop arugula and orange segments dressed with a simple vinaigrette. I'm drooling just thinking of that dish. The Alfredo dish was amazing! Probably one of the best plates of food I've had in awhile. There is something comforting about a big bowl of pasta, with sauce and the shrimp were a perfect addition! I can't wait to return. The service and drinks were fantastic!
google avatar

Tiffany J.

Yelp
I had a chance to visit Ronnie Grisanti's for the first time with a few buddies. I enjoyed my overall experience. One of the guest in our party made reservations for us. When I walked in the hostess was very courteous and professional. She even did a quick show and tell about the history of the picture that I posted. Afterwards, she escorted me to a private room/area called the red/wine room. It is a beautiful space that seats 8. It was set up quiet eloquently. Now, about the food. I had the Lobster Pizza and it was delicious! All of the ingredients were well balanced. It was a pretty good helping as well. I enjoyed my experience and look forward to going back with my husband.

Yelp
Holy crap this place has come far from being in the Antique's Mall! Name of the game is fancy smancy. I honestly hadn't realized how classy this place would be and felt bad because I know my friends and I hadn't exactly dressed as nicely as we'd all like to if we'd have known how nice this place was. I'm not saying I expected it to be a dive bar or anything but it used to seem much more casual. Oops, sorry guys! It's pretty much the same food as the previous location except for a few alterations, which you can ask any of the staff about. I noticed the paninis weren't on the dinner menu but were on the lunch menu instead. The restaurant in the Antique's Mall is from the same family but otherwise not related. Same goes for the location nearby. There is bread upon request. You can choose white or wheat. I had a craving for the soup and after checking prices decided to just get that as my meal. Price wise? We spent $50 in soup, salad, dessert, and tip. Interpret that however you wish but for me it's a little pricier than we usually go for. What we ate was good. Still, it's something I'd reserve for a fancy date night and not something I'd see myself out for a casual dinner. Though I admit we all did have fun and didn't feel bad about being underdressed. The all on one check thing is true, by the way. I didn't believe it when I read a different review but yeah as of this review it's a thing. I don't know how long that will be in effect or it that's a new thing hitting restaurants but I figured I'd confirm it in case anyone else was surprised and doubtful. To Try: Mezzo Mezzo Panini: Santa Barbara Panini: Tuscan Chicken Loved: - Zuppa (Soup): Di Isabella (Asparagus Bisque with Lobster Meat) - Chicken Alfredo (comes with pesto!) - Homemade Toasted Ravioli Like: - Cannoli - Insalata (Salad): Caesar with Chicken - Panini: Tuscan Chicken - Spaghetti and Meatballs (mostly just the meatballs) Ok: - Fries - Manicotti - Pizza: Lobster - Spaghetti Disliked: - Lasagna

Jerome C.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the food and the service! Very nice place to come with someone you want to be intimate with. Or come alone. Very nice and quiet place to eat. Food options are good as well.

Yelp
What can I say everything about this place was excellent . They were able to accommodate a last minute reservation, customer services was great , food was hot and tasty , It was our first time so we ordered a little bit of everything. Everything was a great choice .

Yelp
First time here but won't be the last!! Superb, authentic Italian! Best toasted ravioli I've ever had! If you like mushrooms, try the Genova pizza. Service was impeccable!

Yelp
Birthday dinner / date night (Daddy and Mommy away from kiddos) !! Quiet dark environment with instrumental music playing. We always get dressed to impress but a simple polo and shorts seem to pass. It was a nice break from steak restaurants. Fried ravioli- meh . Lots of meat but jt tasted very dry even with the marinara. PEPE Crusted Tuna - pretty tasty! We ordered 3 dishes!! I can't even keep writing cause my mouth is watering. Give it a try
google avatar

Darlene F.

Yelp
My Elfo was ruined, instead of butter it had so much cheese I thought it was a cream sauce. The waitress told me it was because people complained the butter was too rich. My bread was still in the oven & I had to track down the waitress to find out where it was. I complained about the Elfo & the owner/manager argued with me & turns out the chef added too much cheese & it wasn't supposed to be that way, still charged me for it. I paid & almost ran out. The employees stood at the front desk & complained, loudly, about staffing issues. The bread & Chianti were good but I'm never going back. It's changed since I was last there.

Beth R.

Yelp
Fantastic food and service! Loved the ambiance as well! Just what we needed after a long day of driving! The grilled shrimp Alfredo was flavorful and not too heavy with cream. My husband enjoyed the eggplant parm and the salads were fresh and perfectly dressed! Sally was a delightful server and elevated the experience further! Don't miss this place!!!

Linda B.

Yelp
I had the tortellini in a creamy sauce and it was outstanding. Tamara served us and she was fantastic too! we sat in the bar as we wanted a casual Italian lunch. it the best Grisanti restaurant in Memphis.

Caitlin R.

Yelp
Couldn't ask for a more consistently delicious meal, quiet dining environment, and fabulous wait staff than at Ronnie's!

Teresa M.

Yelp
First the restaurant was warm and did not feel like they had a good air flow. Everyone at our table was overwhelmed by the high humidity in the restaurant. They have really high booths that may trap heat it made for a very long meal. If the AC was broken close down or let patrons know something is wrong. I left sweating it was so warm. Food was ok! Drinks were drinks, service was very good and food for price was poor. I had the Elfo special. I could of had frozen shrimp scampi and it probably would of tasted the same. It had a couple of shrimp and a lot of pasta but little flavor. I would probably pass on going again we did not have a great experience.

Mary Harvey G.

Yelp
Ronnie's never disappoints. the food, service and ambience are the best in Memphis. I had salad and the grilled oysters.

Yelp
First time trying this establishment. I must say everything was cooked to order and the sauce for the pasta was very good. The wait was a little long but that is expected when your food is being prepared fresh. My family and I will definitely visit here again.
