My husband and I stayed here twice during our honeymoon trip to Spain. First, March 19-23, the room with the green blanket. Then we went to Granada for 2 nights. The hotel kept our big suitcases in a locked room behind their desk. Upon our return we were in a slightly better room for March 25-29.
You can't beat the Las Letras location. We took a few taxis in the rain but otherwise walked nearly everywhere in Madrid. Partially because it's flat and lovely and we were in a good location, but also because the metro isn't handy compared to Barcelona's.
Anyway, the hotel was really good. Comfortable beds, good water pressure and temperature, even if the in-room setup is odd for Americans. We had a good amount of outlets, were able to hook up a Switch and laptop to the TV (we brought an HDMI cable) and barely heard any street noise. We did use their laundry service once (in addition to a few sink pieces on our own) for $100 and it was nearly same day and nicely done.
The front desk staff helped us find the very close farmacia when we both had colds, there's also multiple breakfast places, sushi, and gelato literally around the corner. We would stay here again!
