Room Mate Collection Alba, Madrid

We absolutely loved this hotel! The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and the bathroom was spacious and beautifully appointed. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the Dyson hairdryer, such a standout detail. The service was exceptional from start to finish; everyone we interacted with was warm, kind, and accommodating, making us feel very welcome. The location is also fantastic - walkable to many nearby sights, which is perfect if you’re visiting Madrid for the first time. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable hotel with outstanding service.

Super-friendly staff🩷 impressed with how quick and kind they are to attend to guests’ needs. Great location with easy and convenient access to Mayor Plaza and Sol Square. Bedding is unforgettably comfy and amenities are superb. Shampoo and conditioner are the best and most softening I have ever experienced from all hotels worldwide.🩷🥰

The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to major attractions, great restaurants, and vibrant neighborhoods like La Latina and Huertas. It’s also close to Brown Bear Bakery and Ambu Coffee. |For the price which was very reasonable- just book here - you won’t be sorry!!

Very welcoming and helpful staff at the front desk. We were so grateful our room was ready upon arrival after our red-eye flight. Our room in the penthouse was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, with a great shower. Rooms included irons, mini fridges and robes. The breakfast offered a variety of nicely prepared food options and we felt no need to go elsewhere. We loved the decor and overall vibe of the hotel. Comparing our experience to a similar type hotel in Barcelona, Room Mate Alba was the clear winner. We only wish we had booked a Room Mate Collection for our stay there. Next time!

As frequent visitors to Madrid, we highly recommend Room Mate Alba if you are looking for a prime location and a warm personalized boutique experience. Located in the historic literary quarter, you are within a 5-minute radius of the best restaurants in Madrid. The rooms are elegant but modern and cozy at the same time. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing in contrast to the very busy and indifferent hotel chains. The high quality of service is maintained in all their other hotels in Spain and elsewhere. If you stay in a Room Mate property, you are guaranteed a memorable stay at a fair price. Hope to be back soon.

Great location and comfy beds. The service is top notch. Carlos was at the front desk and he was so cool. He helped me get a taxi through calling his contacts for a ride to the airport, as I was waiting for Uber almost an hour and Uber kept canceling the rides. I was helpless and Carlos stepped in. If he didnt step in and go above and beyond to help me get the taxi through one of his personal contacts, I well might have been stranded in Spain for another few days missing my flight. Thank you Carlos for your assistance. Note to management: Please take care of him and give him a raise or promotion. He is an asset to the company and a customer obsessed person.
