Rooms Hotel Kazbegi (Stepantsminda, Georgia) 4 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"There’s something deceptively understated about the name Rooms Hotel — the connotation being, perhaps, that it’s a practical, utilitarian sort of hotel, nothing more than a place to hang your hat. But both properties in the Rooms Hotels line, one in Kazbegi and the other in Tbilisi, offer quite a bit more than four walls and a roof over one’s head. Rooms Hotel Kazbegi, in fact, is grand and memorable, and the setting, in northern Georgia’s Caucasus Mountains, is downright cinematic. Spot the wooden lodge from far away, dwarfed by the dramatic scenery, and you’ll be glad you made the trip. Rooms, what rooms? You might forget where exactly you unpacked your suitcase when you’re drinking in views of snow-capped peaks from the hotel’s terrace or sipping Georgian wines by the roaring fireplace." - Tablet Hotels

A Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! I had an absolutely amazing experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect felt like a true escape. The view from my room was stunning; waking up to such a beautiful scene each morning was a highlight of the trip. The room itself was spotless, and spacious with all the amenities I could need. Every detail was clearly thought out for comfort and convenience. What really made the stay exceptional was the service. Every member of the staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. A special mention goes to Nike. Nike’s warmth and professionalism made me feel truly cared for—thank you! I can’t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be returning for my next visit. Everything was perfect!

Rooms Hotel Kazbegi delivers an exceptional experience for families. The hotel has beutiful design and offers breathtaking views of the mountains and the distinctive Gergeti Monastery, making it truly unforgettable. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortably accommodating. You cannot miss the breakfast buffet; it is delicious and features a wide array of options. My children absolutely loved the warm pool, which was a perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking in the cold weather. Without a doubt, Rooms Hotel Kazbegi is the best travel experience I have had with my family. I strongly recommend this place to anyone seeking a remarkable getaway.

There was no reception or any attempt to assist us. We went to the restaurant hoping to enjoy a relaxed meal, but ended up leaving after being completely ignored—no one helped us find a table or even acknowledged our presence. The treatment felt discriminatory. As for the hotel itself, it’s far from impressive. They seem to believe it’s high quality, but in reality, it’s well below average.

The hotel enjoys a stunning location, and its design, especially the common areas, is beautifully done. However, the rooms lack proper sound insulation, and the noise from other guests, some of whom left their doors open to communicate between rooms, made it difficult to relax. While the spa area is lovely, it can become quite crowded and noisy at times during the day.

Bit steeply priced and small rooms. But an outstanding location with breathtaking views with a massive deck to enjoy it. ||This hotel is slightly far away from the Kazbegi village so once inside, you will need a vehicle to go anywhere.||Even if you can't stay here I recommend a hearty 2-3 hr meal or drinks soaking in the views

The hotel is located in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains and landscape. One can't ask for more. They have a terrace where one can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink or even a meal, the setting is simply perfect. The food and cocktails are great but the dining may get a bit congested during peak seasons and may find difficulty find space. I would definitely like to go back once again.

The view is great and all, but: 1. The rooms have very poor sound insulation. You can hear everything happening on the next rooms - people sneezing, yawning, using the bathroom, talking. 2. The food is quite mediocre - their signature burger has no taste, the Napoleon cake is too fat and doesn’t consist of traditional pastry 3. The hotel also feels a bit old - the furniture is very used and has seen better days.

One wouldn't find a better location. The hotel is surrounded by mountains and very scenic. I recommend a night's stay though it may be pricey depending on the season. The breakfast buffet was good. The service could get better during busy times.
