Rooq

Rooq serves probably the best fried chicken I've ever had. I would probably eat it every day if cardiac arrest weren't a thing! Jokes aside, the flavor and crispiness are serious business. The fries were also fried to perfection and had some interesting spices going on. Highly recommend for all fried chicken lovers.

Heard about this place on TikTok and gave it a try today. A really nice tasting and delicious fried chicken sandwich in the heart of Barcelona! Overall I liked it, it was crispy, the bun was nice and soft and the sauces and coleslaw go very well with the fried chicken burger. Would recommend the garlic mayonnaise sauce with the sandwich, it tasted great!

A restaurant specializing in homemade fried chicken burgers located in the Eixample district. Even at 15:00 on a weekday, there was a sizeable queue at the counter. I ordered a classic fried chicken burger (€11,50) with extra tomato and lettuce (€0,40), sides of fries and coleslaw (€0.80), and a craft lager beer (€2,40). Staff warned the order would take twenty minutes, but the team was efficient and the food arrived in fifteen. The food was excellent and portions were generous. Restaurant staff were patient considering the long queues, and the staff in charge of orders were fluent in English. Seating was typical fast food restaurant, nothing special. Pricing was very accessible, especially compared to other options in the vicinity. Reservations, so come at off-hours if you want to avoid long queues. In all, it was a satisfying meal and a great choice to enjoy chicken burgers in Barcelona.

Great chicken place in Barcelona. You can see from the picture everything is gone, working on the hot pot nuggets which are amazing. Highly recommend!

My kids are picky eaters so I promised them chicken and fries while in Barcelona. Saw this place had good reviews so we went for it on our final night. They eat this kind of food constantly, and said the chicken was the best they ever had, better than even chic filet (high praise from them!). I was full from earlier paella, but have to admit I couldn't stop eating it as well. Excellent all around. I just wish I had gotten one of their t shirts!

Heard this place had great chicken sandwiches and heard correctly!! Either fried or baked chicken with a choice of sauces-garlic, brava mayonnaise and crispy fries or coleslaw or a combo of both. The chicken breast was large and perfectly cooked and the meat juicy and tender. Heaven! They also serve fresh lemonade - my favorite! You place your order then have a seat. The server was very patient and friendly! My husband had the chicken caesar salad which was large and generous with chicken. Get there early cause it’s popular. You’ll find out why!!

Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended. The simple hamburger is very good and the fries are just right. The feeling is pleasant and the bread is of high quality. The only bad thing is that sometimes customers arrive with dogs inside the restaurant. The place is not too big to bring dogs and although it is allowed by law people should be more aware.

I wanted to share our experience at Rooq. While the restaurant was beautifully decorated and had a great atmosphere, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with the chicken burgers we ordered. The chicken was not cooked well, but the burgers were smaller than expected. Additionally, the drink prices were a bit high. Despite these shortcomings, the staff were attentive and friendly. While my experience may not have been perfect, I still believe that Rooq is worth a visit to try out other menu items.
