The Most Fantastic Philly Food Trucks

"When Chef Ezell Barnes opened Zoagies it became an overnight success and is now a go-to Philly food truck destination for tourists and locals alike. With a fixed location in Northeast Philly, this sensational food truck boasts a menu of larger-than-life “po’ boy style” hoagies, cheesesteaks, fried seafood, and more." - George Banks-Weston

Raquel is the most lovely manager/leasing agent. She and her team went out of their way to facilitate my move and put so much love into my unit to get it ready for me. Very grateful for them making this feel like a special place to live!

Like most apartments in big cities, there are the occasional issues, but it's nice to have a manager (Raquel) now managing the building. Recently the toilet in the apartment developed a leak, and was rendered unusable - there was a delay in the shipping of a new fixture but Raquel was very accessible and kept us informed as to the pending repairs. More importantly, it's comforting to know if another issue arises, we can count on Raquel.

Just ended a year's lease in a studio apartment here. My wife and I were looking for something that will have amenities (In building washing machine+dryers & gym) without a super high price and were looking through 9 other places at that time. We chose to sign a lease here due to the well planned space of the studio (and storage) and because it was on the 8th floor facing the south - giving great sunlight and view of Phili. I've had a great experience right from the start. In the day I moved I requested to change the oven and have some fixes (paint & holes fill) made in the bathroom I have not noticed before when I checked the apartment previously - the oven was changed and all the fixes were made the following day. It was easy to reach out and get the window unit (the portable air conditioner) installed and uninstalled, change lights and in the two times I had problems with the heating there always was someone there to take a look the next morning. Even though a studio is small we made it work for us and were able to have guests and family over (staying to sleep on air mattress) and we had a great place that felt very much like home Was really surprised from the low ratings here, guess everyone has their own personal story..

My name is Dasaan McCrimmon-- I recently moved to Philadelphia to be closer to my Law Firm. I was apprehensive about living in an apartment after only inhabiting a house for so long, but those fears were assuaged by Raquel. Since moving in I can only speak highly of her. Raquel Cervantes is an amazing person, landlord, and building manager that brings efficiency, kindness, and community to the forefront Roosevelt Apartments. Her genuine care and support of her tenants is unsurpassed--she is earnest, honest, and always manages to find resolutions and put me at ease. Thank you for choosing such a good soul for this role-- she has more than surpassed all of my expectations ( I can be a squeaky wheel) and has gone out of her way to be of service. Warm Regards, Dasaan

The Roosevelt Staff The Resident Manager Raquel is doing her best to run the building. I can’t say enough about Joe who is in maintenance. He is always there to help any resident in need. He truly cares about the tenants. This building wouldn’t be the same without him.

This is probably the worst apartment building that I’ve lived in. First off, I want to acknowledge that Eduvige (building manager) does all that she can to be accommodating, another thing I want to acknowledge is that this apartment is very cheap (hundreds cheaper than neighboring buildings). I moved into a unit that wasn’t cleaned, and had to hire cleaners myself before I moved in. The building is generally unresponsive, no one answers the phone and there is no other way to get in contact with them unless you catch them in person by chance. The elevator is broken around 40% of the time and the lobby area is always dirty and has an odd smell. The water was off for two entire days in the winter, but the final straw was the mice that I found running through my unit. I ended up paying the lease breaking fee after just 6 months. Proceed with caution, I tried to save some money choosing housing and it came back to bite me. They need new management

The worst living experience I’ve ever had. The elevator is always broken, never ending pest problem, deeply unprofessional management, and everything is in disrepair. It takes days to get in contact with management and you have to beg for the most basic maintenance to get done. If you are reading this I advise you to avoid this building at all costs. The owners/management do not care about your wellbeing or safety.

Well after a little over 2 long grueling months the elevator is finally up and running again. If you Rushmore can continue to make progress like this just only faster maybe just maybe they'll start getting better tenant reviews and not having so many tenants looking to end their leases prematurely
