This park is right next to the Virginia Corridor, and it's awesome. I used to come here a lot as a child, but now I'm all grown up and bring my dog on walks here. This park is on the bigger side of neighborhood parks. There is a huge open space to do tons of different activities in. You want to play football in the fall. This park's got you covered. You want to place some soccer because the World Cup just played. Well, you can do that too. You're a hippie and want to place hacky sack with other hippies, then this is your park. The open area is huge. This park also has 4 tennis courts. So, if you want to play tennis, or you watched the Mighty Ducks and want to play some impromptu street hockey, then look no further. Moving on, this park like all other parks, has a kids play area. This area has two different size play structures for the wee ones and mini wee ones. They also have water fountains in this area. Moreover, this area has lots of shade for the parents. This is probably the better for the parents. One of the best parts about this park is the abundance of pick nick tables and BBQ pits. You can basically pick an area and hang out for the day with your family. There is also tons of bike parking. I think the aspect that tops everything is that there are tables and benches that line the side of the park that touches the Virginia Corridor. On multiple occasions, I have bought some food or froyo from an establishment in Roseburg square, 1 block away, and I have had a very pleasant time eating it in this park. This park is legit. You just have to find the time to enjoy it.
