The complex is very well kept, location is great, and the amenities are extremely nice. The leasing agents are incredibly helpful, especially Brady who has always been a pleasure to work with. It is quite luxury and comes with a luxury price tag, but you do get what you pay for. If you want bougie place that is well kept, this is it.

Google
I have lived here for 4 years and would highly recommend if you are moving to the Phoenix area. Apartments are spacious and the maintenance is always very prompt. We have only had positive experiences with the leasing office staff. The neighborhood is extremely walkable with much to do, only downside would be that Roosevelt St does get loud on First Fridays, but the pros of this location outweigh the cons in my opinion.

Counting down the days until I move in (60 days) I want to thank Josh for taking the time to giving me a tour few weeks ago without an appointment. I wasn’t even looking for a new home yet but my friend encouraged me to come in. I currently live at Moontower and can not wait to get out of here. I’ve been beyond depressed living here. I feel like Roosevelt is way more nicer. More welcoming! More opened space to not just feel stuck living in a building. The studio I’ll be moving into is pretty much the same size as my 1/1 at MT and I’ll be paying almost half for now! I can’t wait for my mental health to get better because I won’t have to be crazy working all the time to live in an almost 3K unit. Thank you again, Josh. Can’t wait to call Roosevelt home soon.

THE BEST! Brady was super helpful with all of our questions & needs! Very friendly, detailed, and made the overall experience the best for looking for a new space! Highly recommend!

Brady was so attentive and accommodating during our tour. He answered our questions in a thoughtful manner and was very nice. Would absolutely recommend!

I have had a fantastic experience living at Roosevelt Row. The apartment is conveniently located in an area with lots of restaurants, bars and entertainment. The apartment itself is quiet, well kept with secure parking, great amenities and the staff is always friendly and willing to help. Highly recommend.

Google
Brady was very helpful and knowledgeable in showing us a tour of the entire property. Very great experience and would definitely consider living here.

Morgan Swanson

Google
Brady was amazing! The tour answered all our questions and gave us tons of details. You can tell how much he loves the apartment complex and the residents who are there (he knew everyone we saw by name). An impromptu tour turned out to be one of our top favorites. Definitely a place to keep your eye on🫶🏼

Yelp
DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU NEVER WANT YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK My boyfriend and I have lived here for the last two years, took exceptional care of the unit. We kept it clean, never even allowed people to wear their shoes inside, we moved out leaving our unit clean and unstained. We did not get our security deposit back and instead got hit with an email with late fees that Roosevelt Row did not make us aware about from the first charge. This place is overpriced and property itself is NEVER cleaned. Our $900 security deposit that we are not getting back and in addition, got charged $250 for "light painting charges." Dog puke stains on the hallway carpet that were never cleaned, main lobby elevator breaks down once a day with people inside (same elevator was out of commission for 6 months and still breaks down), packages get stolen out of the mailroom, the front desk people are nice to only possible residents, but turn into cold heartless cowards when it comes to actual residents. Me and my boyfriend cannot express how happy we are to be out of there.

Yelp
Roosevelt Row Apartments is a pretty solid place to live, especially if you're into having good amenities right on-site. The pool is great--perfect for cooling off or just hanging out. The gym is actually two stories, which is rare, and has plenty of space and equipment. There's even an outdoor turf area by the gym, which is a nice touch. One of the best parts is the rooftop patio--it's got comfy seating, fire pits, and awesome views, especially at sunset. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful too, which makes a big difference day to day. Plus, being right in the heart of Roosevelt Row means you're close to tons of cool spots, but still have a quiet place to come home to. Also - pool has great sunlight all day and tons of covered areas for shade.

Yelp
This place is still terrible. Visiting a friend. Cigarettes in the stairwell. Beer cans left on the ground. Live elsewhere. They stole money from me 3 years ago. Best ask them to pull up the carpet before you move in so you can check for stains on the padding underneath. That's how they got me.

Yelp
Writing this post to follow up on the experience that my partner and I are having. After writing and leaving our honest reviews via Yelp and Google, Roosevelt Row Apartments and Weidner Management conspired to have the reviews either taken down or hidden from both Yelp and Google's platforms (With the exception of my post). This all started as a conversation we had when returning a phone call to Veronica, the Community Director regarding my partners' accessibility issues along the tenant portal. During the call I listened in as she attempted to make contact with Veronica, whom historically makes herself unavailable for any tenant requests. (BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE, I ATTEST TO THIS FACT). The person who answered the phone was a young boy who works in the office named Conor, who has always prevented us from making contact with Veronica. Regardless if we are returning a call or simply in need of a department head, this newly hired assistant makes everything difficult. On the aforementioned call, my partner (WHO HAPPENS TO BE A FILMMAKER AND ENTERTAINER, YES WEIDNER MANAGEMENT GOOGLE HER!) joked and stated that it was rather difficult to get in contact with Veronica, as if she had gatekeepers or was like Queen Elizabeth. REVIEW CONTINUED VIA PHOTOS 1 - 4.

Yelp
What a great location to be in!!! Located in the center of it all!! These apartments offer such a great location, covered parking, as well as, is located above restaurants and bars. Who wouldn't want to live here! Why even go grocery shop when you're above ATL WINGS, and Breakfast BITCH . Did I mention coffee shops, other restaurants and boutiques are literally at the tip of your bigtoe!!! These apartments are radiant, have great amenities, in which, I'd probably rarely use other than the yoga classes offered , the pool , the coffee room aka party room, again, the amenities were awesome! Lol Apartments are all about the LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION for me!!! I've noticed all age groups living here so, there is no one group of people living here which is a plus as, this area is great for all races, and groups no matter how you identify which is, again AWESOME!!! The garage is $50.00 per Month (2 car limit) which I honestly think that apartments should include in the rent rather than charge separately! I did notice that the garage was open at one end so I'm not sure about the security involved which I'm going to ask if I decide on this location. The staff seem nice as Autumn Hargrave gave me a tour and she was very friendly and professional! She didn't make me feel rushed at all. She deserves a RAISE!!! Thank you for your time! So, far this is #1 on my list of choices, as far as, recommendations on where to live in downtown Phoenix .

Yelp
I lived in many different places, including apartments. I can honestly give this place five stars. I love the amenities and how they keep everything working and nice. The only problem is the tenants that live here. Don't give it mutual respect so it's a constant job.. I love the pool and gym. The pool has lots of cabanas and lounge chairs. The gym is my absolute favorite. Has a view of Roosevelt, has a squat rack with actual plates, has a Smith machine, Stair-master, cardio equipment, dumbbells, leg extension, pretty much everything you could need to stay fit and strong. I'm thoroughly impressed with Weidner property management . Everyone I know that's had Graystar property management has a horror story accompanied with their relationship with them. I can't say that here! I'm so pleased with this property management company. The maintenance staff here are so friendly, quick and nice! shout out to Chris. I'll be sad to move but I no longer want to live in downtown Phoenix.

Yelp
Genuinely don't understand why they let tenants have dogs. There just simply isn't enough area for Them to go to the bathroom. So the entire parameter of the building smells like urine. Absolutely disgusting 0/100

Yelp
Love living here so far! Chris G has been a fantastic help. Every time he goes the extra mile to make sure our Maintenence needs are met. He is always helping out on the property, even on his days off and very very nice! This guy deserves a huge shoutout! Thank you Chris for every thing you do!!

Yelp
They charged me for a smoking fee after I moved out and to replace carpets after living there for six months. I have no pets and keep my apartments absolutely pristine. My neighbors smoked on their balcony. They also fought violently starting every day at noon for about six weeks. I could hardly work because every time I had to turn on my mic, I had to explain to my colleagues that no one was being murdered. I called the office to conduct a welfare check on them because it was so violent when it started, but I came to discover from the office that it's just normal for them. For a luxury apartment charging $1700+ for a 1B/1B, this is outrageous. Look elsewhere. This place is a tragedy. The elevators were either broken or littered with a mixture of trash, alcohol, urine, or on two occasions--human feces.

Anastasia W.

Yelp
Worst place to live. The manager is rude and escalates every single situation (clearly poorly trained and looking for a fight/power trip). Elevators are always broken (literally stop working once to twice a month if not more) and always skip floors/doors won't open on certain floors unless you quickly press the hold open button. Security scanners are broken for different doors of entry and elevators (which is a problem because there a lot of homeless people in the area). Pool is like a frat scene and is green after every weekend. Walls are thin and so are ceilings. Build is poorly maintained and hall ways are dingy. I would notify the building and wait months for them to fix issues. Almost every issue I reported to them had to do with health and safety. And almost every issue was never fixed. If you want to be ripped off and treated poorly this is a great place to live. Happy to be rid of the place after two years. Just an update yes they fix the elevators but they break biweekly if not more. And yes the supply shortage is an issue but the building never added any additional/supplemental security measures to address the broken security scanners as required by law. The day I returned the keys may 12th the main elevator security scanner was still broken. DO NOT BE FOOLED. Also ( look into the Arizona tenant landlord act). The bottom line is the building seems to act as though it doesn't care and seems to operate as cheaply as possible. Further staff are rude and unhelpful and as you can see from the response to this review seem to fail to take responsibility and own up to their own flaws. Additionally, no one from the office ever phoned me to apologize and I had to cal corporate to get the number for the attorney this building uses to speak with them.

Yelp
After reading some of the negative reviews I had to write a positive one. If you're thinking about renting here I can tell you this...Parking is great there's tons of it, Office staff (Todd, Destiny, Brendon and I believe Veronica) are amazing. The office staff will go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. How many leasing offices can you say that about....If you see my review on Allure apartments you'll know Im a harsh critic when it comes to apartments. I had to work back and forth between Cali and Phx. Sometimes I needed little favors here, and there living in two locations. They ALWAYS helped me out. The property is beautiful. The gym never has any broken equipment. The pool area is stunning and the location itself is perfect. You can just park and walk. Not to mention they even gave me the name of the best pet sitter in the world ...Shout out to Karen! Miss Kittens and I misse you! I was super happy living at Roosevelt. I give the staff 6 stars. The reason I the property 4 stars was because I would sometimes leave for a month or more at a time and my drains had to be snaked. The maintenance were fast though. Don't believe the bad reviews about the staff or property...its a great place to live even if youre a picky person you will love it here. Loved my stay Thanks guys!

Yelp
I was going to rent an apartment at Roosevelt Row (it shows really nicely, and the building looks high grade). However, only after I really drilled down to their policies, did I learn of their obtrusive and invasive policies around guests. Needless to say I won't rent at Roosevelt Row. The unreasonable guest policies stem from the fact that the management office will NOT allow a resident to have an extra key fob for a guest or a cleaning person to come and go freely. When I asked why the leasing agent explained that for "security" reasons they want to control who comes and goes. The only way to get another fob is to put the visitor on the lease, which is a ridiculous suggestion. (I later found out that the leasing agent was someone incorrect and that a fob can be borrowed if you submit a written request to the leasing office and beg for one). Isn't that what the rental contract is all about? It's my responsibility, and I don't want to have to beg a leasing agent to allow a guest to come and go freely every time I have a visitor. In addition, they chose to disable the ability to buzz people in. So a resident must walk all the way to the front door and let a guest or vendor in. So if I'm sick, have a broken leg, or just don't feel like walking the very long hallways (and using the frequently-inoperable elevators, as the other commenters shared), I can't even have food delivered or services provided? That's not a place I want to live in.

Taylor L.

Yelp
Love the community and the people here! This place is well kept and I have had great experiences with the gym, pool, rooftop deck, neighbors, ec!

Yelp
WARNING! Do not rent here or any Weidner property. They say your rent is one thing and then you get EVERYTHING else added on. It seems like the residents pay for the buildings electricity. For example, the lighting in the hallway and the garage that you need to see... and anything else they can possibly charge you for. The excess fees are ridiculous. Weidner is a greedy company that just wants to suck money our of its renters period. Shame on them. Also, there is no way to escape how cheaply the building was built. My upstairs neighbor is either 1,000 lbs or the construction of the building sucks. People come down my hallway as loud as possible and when my dog barks, it's my fault. My neighbor upstairs drags something across the floor daily that is so loud again my dog barks and again its my fault. In addition there is a dog on my floor that barks all day and the person next to me is convinced it's my dog. I am home with him all day so I know that's not the case. So she calls the office and they come up and say it's my dog without even researching anything else. They have already threatened to kick me out over my dog barking which is simply not a fact but they are too lazy to really figure it out. The people I live around are unfriendly and the fire alarm goes off all the time day or night. I love downtown. There are plenty of new buildings going up to rent from as well as some older ones that are less expensive and NOT a GREEDY WEIDNER property. The end of my lease cannot come soon enough. I am very easy going and have lived in numerous apartments and condos and have never had such a miserable experience in the place that should be my safe place, my home.

Evan Z.

Yelp
This place is an absolute dump. They keep the hallways and gym at 80 degrees at all times, hot tub is literally colder than the pool and green at times, doggy poop bin is overflowing on a regular basis, and if you want homeless people getting in no problem! The front door is unlocked during all hours and doesn't even require a security fob to get in 90% of the time. See those awesome cabanas at the pool with all those TVs? Good luck finding a remote to change the channel. Don't be fooled by the positive google reviews, it's a little known secret that you can delete the negative ones! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking to rent in downtown Phoenix. Way overpriced and not maintained like a "luxury apartment" building.

Harry S.

Yelp
I used to reside in this building until the new management staff took over and then I fled. The building is an illusion of nice amenities masking lousy construction and even worse management. The elevators never worked, walls are very thin, noisy neighbors, bugs, animal (maybe human?) feces in the hallways, beer cans in the stairwells, and the pool on weekends was something out of a bad Club Med experience often until 12am. The worst part however was the new management staff. They came in with an attitude and behaved like a clique of low intellect high school students. You would ask them a simple question only to be looked at with what could only be described as soulless cow eyes. From there you were either confusingly laughed at or given unwarranted passive aggressive feedback. Not quite the faces of a high end luxury building experience that you would expect. The only redeeming part of my experience was with the maintenance staff who were very helpful. They were on call after hours but not onsite which was troubling. I will say I pin that more on the management's disregard for their residents than on the maintenance folks themselves. Overall the cost of those apartments does not reflect the ASU dorm experience that it offers. Don't get sold a bag of goods look elsewhere in the area for better value and experience.

Chris B.

Yelp
The staff downstairs are really kick ass, fun people. Aesthetically, the colors blend very well together and sets these apartments "apart" from others in the area.

Yelp
Boyfriend & I moved here in February & I love everything about Roosevelt Row! To make it sort of short & sweet...the staff is very professional, responsive, & genuine! The cleanliness of the property is exceptional! The maintenance & cleaning professionals work around the clock to ensure they upkeep every inch of the property, they're amazing & very friendly!! (One of the gentleman even changed my tire for me once haha) The amenities have to be some of the best I've seen! The resort style pool is unmatched & so relaxing! The gym has everything you could possibly need & the equipment is very clean & functional. The parking garage is very secure & there are plenty of parking spaces for all of the residents, & I love that our guests can even park in the garage in the designated area! The location is great & the block is pretty trendy! The other residents are pretty friendly & I love that the community is very dog friendly! I also love how secure the property is as well! Downtown living could be a little nerve wrecking but I feel pretty safe! We personally have not had any maintenance issues in our unit thus far which is nice! Safe to say We love living here!

Yelp
Apparently they don't think I know how to read. A letter was hand delivered to my door. There is a difference between delivered and served. My family is still waiting for management company, apartment company and community director to reach out to us and to resolve the issues.

Marie F.

Yelp
First and foremost, I do not write reviews for places and made a yelp account just to let people know this is the best community in the greater Phoenix Area. The office and maintenance staff are absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so friendly and they always do their best with the upmost service. I have lived in two other complexes in the area (which will not be named) and this by far has been the best experience. To Roosevelt Row, thank you for providing the best service in the most beautiful community. I love to call this place home!
google avatar

Bert M.

Yelp
Do you want a nice, friendly, upscale apartment complex with a great staff, they go it! Do you want an affordable, but classy pad, they got it! Do you want to live next to the ASU nurses college? You're darn right, theY got it! Love this place!

Jenny T.

Yelp
I like the apartments and the location! I haven't had any issues with anything breaking. Parking is great! The maintenance staff is very friendly, but the office staff is RUDE. There are one or two nice office staff, but most of them are rude. They talk to you like you're stupid when you ask completely reasonable questions. Especially Alexis (?). It's only been sense Wiedner took over. I dread dealing with them. I only do it if absolutely necessary. Which sucks, because I've been a great tenant and caused no issues, but they are still rude...It's the common consensus in the building.

Mary U.

Yelp
I don't know if it's poor construction or if I just got extremely unlucky but I hear everything. My upstairs neighbor is a continued source of frustration as I constantly hear them walking heavy/footed across their apartment. All day, back and forth. I didn't think it could get worse until he started using a rolling chair. Now I hear that glide across my ceiling daily. I know that some of this is unavoidable but it's made me quite miserable living here. The staff has mostly been friendly and attentive to my concerns but there's no resolution.

Andrew K.

Yelp
I've lived here since November 2018, and unfortunately I've had a plethora of issues. The main elevator to the parking garage is always either 1) out of service completely, or 2) skips floors without stopping due to some time of malfunction. Every resident I've spoken with has experienced the same issues, even the staff. After countless attempts, they still can't fix it. I've been late many times to important events because of these 10-20 min delays. In AZ heat, taking 2-3 trips to your car instead of 1 to unload groceries bc the elevator isn't working is not something I'm prepared to pay top dollar for as this complex charges. I'd also note the hot/cold water lines were crossed in my unit when I moved in, and when it was fixed, my water pressure dropped significantly. That was not able to be repaired either. My neighbors are loud with their music, which I've reported multiple times to no avail. The TVs out by the pool are often broken or missing the remotes. While the location is nice, this complex doesn't command the top dollar it asks for, and the staff hasn't been very understanding with the elevator issues. Ultimately, they always blame vendors and manufacturers instead of taking responsibility for the problems. This weekend the elevator was out again so I put in a notice requesting to break my lease early due to these issues not being fixed, and while they acknowledge the recurring problems, they weren't willing to do anything. There are other places with similar locations nearby that I'd check out before I leased here, especially given the pasking issues. *Update* the community was unwilling to do anything after being made aware of my issues (below) other than to threaten to attempt to collect special move-in concessions made when I moved in. While my issues don't rise to the level of me commencing legal action, I as an attorney found their response laughable. If I could update this to zero stars, I would.

Nancy A.

Yelp
Just moved in and am very happy I have. The staff in the office are genuinely kind and knowledgeable. Todd, the leasing agent I worked with was patient enough to show multiple floor plans and I found what was perfect for me. His follow-thru after I decided to rent was exceptional. And there was no hard-sell. Just friendly, easy going and knowledgeable. On move-in day I met several of the residence and they all said they were very happy here. The building is beautiful and very well-kept. Well worth looking into.

Grant L.

Yelp
We just moved in last week and absolutely love the place! From the very beginning, we researched and toured dozens of places in Downtown Phx, old town Scottsdale, and tempe but found this one to be the all around best for price, location and amenities. The whole office staff has been FANTASTIC and has gone above and beyond to help. Todd has been an incredible help to us and has taken care of all our needs with professionalism and friendliness! We love living here, the pool and hot tub is awesome, and there is tons of space to relax. As someone that works from home, I've never felt cramped- from the rooftop patio, to the large outdoor deck, and pool area and multiple club rooms rooms, you can never have a lack or places to enjoy the property. It's also walking distance from tons of cool places to eat, drink, and chill at.

Vijay C.

Yelp
New management company just came in. This is not the Broadstone anymore.... Management company is supporting a downstairs neighbor who is complaining about the noise our 2 and 3 year old children make. They served my family with an eviction notice. The downstairs neighbor just moved in a month ago and my family has been here since November 2018.

Randi N.

Yelp
Apartment is nice however the on-site staff does not adequately keep up the property or provide prompt service regarding issues. They cannot provide answers and seek to delay repairs and service until you decide not to request any longer. Having lived elsewhere I had higher expectations which were not met.

Jackson L.

Yelp
The staff has been amazing helping us move in this week. We work from home and love all the amenities they offer. We are new to downtown Phoenix, but the location is perfect for walking distance to any type of restaurants, events, or bars. That being said we don't feel like leaving since the club house and pool are a ton of fun. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to live in Phoenix.
