I’ve been getting my haircut, mustache trim and occasionally when I wear a beard, that trimmed by Luis. I like the masculine old school barbershop atmosphere of the place. Reminds me of the old Italian barbershops I went to as a young man in Brooklyn. It’s not some trendy, uni-sex poofy ‘salon’ with mood music where all the haircuts look like the same bowl style. It’s a Gentleman’s Barber Shop. (Hard to tell it’s part of a franchise) The staff are friendly, professional & polite. My barber Luis knows me, my hairstyle, and we chat over personal things and goings on. He’s been cutting my hair about 10 years now, since I first saw an advertisement and walked in to check it out. Being an older man, this place fits me. I feel comfortable going there, being tended to by a Master Barber and having manly hair care services. The hot towel shaves, shampoos, are relaxing and refreshing and I always come out looking like the best version of myself. If you’re still getting your haircut in a strip mall or unisex beauty salon, man up and go to Rooster’s. Yeah, it’s a funny name, but there’s nothing funny about a great haircut given by barbers that remember you as a friend and not just the next head in the chair.

I love being able to schedule an appointment online with Paul! He’s great as he’s worked with both of my sons. Thank you, Paul, for giving the little one his new style and sense of confidence!

Came here a few months ago for the first time and got a great haircut from Nicole! I've been back every month and happy to say I found my new place to get my fades. Great vibe. I love the close shave around the neck to keep the hair away longer. And the shampoo is the bomb.

Very good service. I've been shaving my hair for the last 6 years because of a PhD program, and I wanted to go for a more "semi-professional" look. The barber was super cool after I explained what I wanted in really vague terms (I basically just wanted to stop looking like a bonehead), and the haircut and beard sculpting were excellent. Very happy with the outcome, and will be a repeat customer.

I’ve been going to Luis for over 10 years. He’s an absolute master at cutting hair. Listens to everything you have to say and executes it to perfection. They’re simply not very many like him anymore.

Runya is very experienced and does ann excellent job in great detail. She razor cuts thick hair like no one else . Highly recommended

Have been using Louis for about six months now. Roosters has been there a couple years I think. In the beginning a lot of personnel changes Finally met Luis close to home. I was driving to Ft. Lauderdale for 5 years Too far. Every haircut I have had here has been perfect and I'm nutty about my cuts difficult. He nails it every time. Highly recommend this shop. Better than it appears. All nice staff

I was charged more than what they quoted me on the phone and the service was not good. I called in advance to make an appointment for a haircut for my son, they quoted me a lower price than what they charged me after the haircut. The haircut itself was not what I expected as the stylist didn't listen to what I wanted. Not a good experience overall and I'm not coming back.

My parents live in Wellington and from time-to-time I'm here and also needing a trim or a cut. I've been to this place a few times and what led me here was a Yelp review. I don't particularly pay attention to complaints as this is your chance to speak-up about what you like and what you want. I've seen Nicole a few times and I've nothing but perfect experiences with her. She is professional and friendly. Asks continuously if what she's is doing good/ok. I'd definitely go to her if you're a first timer here. The overall service is great, you get the massage on your scalp with hot towel and a shave of your sideburns/neck. What more could you ask for? I definitely enjoy it when it's relaxing experience. Cheers!

Ever since Darwin left, I've had different barbers. Darwin recommended Luis, so I gave him a shot. The first time I used him he was great. Went back again and used Luis. This time as soon as I sat down in his chair he made a comment about my weight that I found insulting and uncalled for. After that I was hesitant to return. I used a different barber named Eddie and he was great. Haircut was just as good as when Darwin used to do it. I tried to book Eddie again, but it appears as if he is no longer employed there. I reluctantly booked Luis for 9/3/22. I came in and everything started off fine. No insults about my weight. After I had paid for my cut and got in my car I noticed that on my left side there were huge gaps (see picture below.) I had an appointment elsewhere and was unable to return later that or on Sunday. Luis saw this and made no attempt to ask if he could fix it. I'm going to attempt to see if they will fix this and if so, will update my review. **************************************************************** Update: 09/06/22 I called and spoke with the manager Runya and she was very helpful. She knew from my previous times getting my haircut and offered to have me come in and fix the mistake as best she could. Runya managed to make the situation better and went the extra mile by providing a hot towel, shampoo and taking her time to fix my hair until I was satisfied. Thank you,.Runya, for your professionalism. It was much appreciated.

Awesome service! The environment is calm and relaxing and the barbers are engaging. Feels more like a spa than a barber shop.

Going to the barber has always seemed like a hit or a miss. Sometimes you get lucky and you get a good cut, sometimes they miss the mark. Fortunately, my visit today was a huge hit. Jesse was my barber and he instantly understood what I going for. He did a great job and really delivered. I felt the cut was a great value and I would definitely go back. The atmosphere, the cleanliness and the quality of the staff makes this a great place for a cut.

showed pictures of what I wanted and Luis didn't listen at all. I told him twice not to cut the top short I want to be able to style it. Obviously he did not listen and basically gave me a buzz cut by the time he finished. I would've been better off running my head under a lawn mower than get my head butchered like this. Nick is a great barber and Runya runs a clean professional shop. Been a client for over 8 years and would not go anywhere else.

That was something. I didnt enjoy this time at all. It was more as fifty shades of gray then hair cutting. I dont know what she had bad day or mad at work but she take her anger at me. She tried to be fast and she mess it up big time. Me stupid tip her and i should more fight for my right. I will never again go there .

The vibe in this shop is legit. The old school gentleman's feel to the wood and chairs and smell is amazing. Just a great environment. But with that being said, I'm not digging the beard trim I got. I should the gentleman a picture of what I wanted and it wasnt even close to what I had asked for. I specifically asked for him to trim the dead ends up and clean it up, not to take volume or length away. I will attach pictures. I have been growing my beard for a good 6 months without a trim so when the time came I could shape it how I wanted it, last night took all that away. Maybe it was because it was so late in the evening and he was wore out and tired I don't know. I do know, I will never ever go to another barber for my beard again. He traumatized my way of thinking with anyone near my beard. I know it's silly, its just hair it'll grow back, but to me it's a part of me. He could tell I wasn't happy because at the end he said we can make some adjustments if you're not happy, you can't put hair back though buddy! Anyways. I would go here for a haircut but nothing to do with my beard. I specifically told him I don't use plastic combs or brushes in my beard because of static but guess what he continued to rip through my beard with? Yup a plastic comb. His scissors probably could have been sharper as well because every cut pulled more than cut I believe. It was not enjoyable. Straight razor and the hot towel across the face was kind of nice but I'll NEVER be back.. And since you want to comment back with the price of some scissors that I don't care about is showing that you don't care what your customers are saying. Funny that's the only thing you mentioned, forgot about the crappy beard trim. I hope people are not "highly sought after" with that. But hey Bob, appreciate you calling me a liar. If you couldn't read the last sentence in my review then you should, I WILL NEVER BE BACK.

2 stars 'Meh. I've experienced better' In retrospect, starting to think it's hit or miss depending on your barber. I walked out with knicks and cuts all over my neck and the back of my head. The shampoo was borderline painful with that scrubbing tool they now used. My only recommendation would be do your research beforehand, identify the barber you would trust and book them directly. Walk-ins seem too risky given the inconsistencies.

On 4-28-2018, I received a full refund. This matter is now closed. MK +++++++++++ On 4-25-2018, I called Assistant Manager Darwin to schedule my service with him. As I was waiting on the phone, I looked at the scheduling section of their webpage and saw "Sue" was still listed as a barber. When Darwin came to the phone, I asked, "Darwin, didn't you tell me Sue was terminated?" He said, "Yes, but I'm only the Assistant Manager and the Manager decided not to fire her." I asked for a refund, which he agreed. +++++++++++ On 4-22-2018, I spoke with Assistant Manager Darwin, who advised "Sue" was terminated and he will provide a free service on my next visit. I will schedule an appointment this coming weekend. +++++++++++ As of 4-19-2018, I have not heard from Mr. Mr. Rourke or any representative regarding this matter. MK +++++++++++ I was a walk-in on Sunday, 4-15-2018. I was told by the barber at the very first station by the greeting/cashier station what a ROOSTERS CLUB CUT (at $39.00) would entail: **Personal consultation, precision haircut with shampoo, massage, razor cut around the neck and ears, hot-towel treatment, style, powder, and aftershave.** A bit pricey, but I said, what the heck, you only live once and I have an event on Wednesday. The girl at the cashier counter gave me an appointment (while I waited), which would be about 40 minutes - no issue. Then, a stylist by the name Sue asked for me. Of course, I thought I was going to see the barber who explained the service, who was free at the same time Sue came for me. Well, I proceeded - BIG MISTAKE. I sat at her station and asked her how long she had been cutting men's' hair. She said, "3-years." I was a bit worried, but went forward. The "Personal Consultation"? It was not. She asked me what number I wanted (meaning the electric clipper cutting guards, corresponding to different men's haircut lengths). I told her, "half," then described with my hands as I said, "with a full, short taper all the way up, evenly all around, up to my part on my left side." She said she understood. SHE DID NOT. The next thing I know, she's putting hair styling cream in my hair and removing my paper around my neck and shoulders. What? I said, "where's my part?" She then tried to use the clippers to raise the taper up, but it was an uneven taper and just a bad hair cut. NO PRECISION. She handed me a dirty hand held mirror and I quickly saw it was bad, real bad and said, "no, no, this is not right. Are you finished?" She said, "what else do you want?" I said, "Where's the straight razor trimming around the ears and neck?" She said, "Oh...OK." Then, she asked the young girl at the cashier station to take a razor from the vacant barber station next to her, which she retrieved from a drawer. There was a used blade on it. Without prepping my skin around the ears or neck, she took the hot shaving cream, put it around my ears and neck, then grabbed the razor. [She should have prepped the skin with hot moist towels.] I immediately said, "STOP...are you going to place a new blade on that razor?" She said, "I don't have any," then asked the young girl to find one. After a couple of minutes of searching for it without success, I was DONE. I stood up, took a paper towel to wipe away the shave cream, took the smock off, and said, "this is just terrible, just terrible." I walked to the front, paid, and left. I retired from the US Army in 2014 after 24-years of service and I can tell you this place is OVER-priced, OVER-rated, and anything but a PRECISION haircut. But, the interior decorations look nice. DON'T GO HERE - BAD, VERY BAD. Michael K.

Staying in Wellington with the family on vacation and looked for a local shop to get a haircut/trim. As most dads may experience, it's enjoyable to make things happen for the family on your week off but it's not a vacation "for dad" per se. I took this morning to treat myself while everyone was still gettin ready and went to Roosters for what I thought would be a typical haircut and get a professional to make some nice edges on ma beard, in/out boom. My goodness, now I know why men and Barbershops are synonymous! It's was a truly relaxing experience that "men" will get. 1- worth the $ 2- You won't feel pampered or in a spa. Just relaxed and .. manly. 3- you look really good at the end Treat yo self! After a real barbershop experience with Elizabeth (she seriously rocked), the firm clean shave I walked out with, I will be retiring my Wahl clippers and having a true Barber have at it. Thank you Roosters and Elizabeth, wish you were up in my neck of the woods!

I'm visiting from LA I go to the same barber for eight years haven't tried anyone else. But I took a risk I'm on a trip here in Florida and the guys did a great job Paul thank you so much I look great I look fresh definitely will be back if I'm in town

Nicole did a great job with my hair, and I loved that the straight razor neck shave, shampoo and hot towels were all included in the price. I felt pampered!

Luis is still the best, after many years, he is my Master Barber. I have to make the drive but it is worth it!

This was my first time going to roosters, and won't be last!! I found them on yelp, called and made appointment with Rocky, he was polite and accommodating over the phone. When I arrived I was greeted and welcomed by both stylists, Rocky helped me with their menu, as I also decided to get a shave! Rocky lead me to his chair made sure I was comfortable, and I showed him a few pictures of what I was looking for in a haircut, he checked out my hair and made some suggestions of what would work with my type of hair while staying close to the examples of styles I showed him. Rocky was extremely polite, and thorough, even stopping to show me the direction he was going with my cut to make sure I was happy. Once he finished my cut, he washed and massaged my scalp, then gave me a hot towel with relaxing essential oils, to soften my beard, then he began with the shave, constantly checking for smoothness, and paying closely to detail ( trimming my ears, nose).Once finished Rocky cleaned me up, and even used a lint roller to make sure I wasn't leaving with hair all over my clothes. If your looking for a shave and a haircut that doesn't feel rushed, and want someone that pays attention to the details, I Suggest Rocky at roosters! So I've been here 3 times now, and have always had a A+ experience, if you're in need of grooming stop in and see Darwin, Luis, or Rocky, you won't be disappointed!!

I came into Roosters today for the first time for a haircut. I was hoping for a decent cut and a somewhat peaceful/relaxing atmosphere. I was joyfully surprised when I entered. The music wasn't blaring and loud like some other barbershops I've been to. The staff was inviting and professional, and the haircut was high-quality and worth the price. I will definitely get my hair cut here from now on.

Rocky has been taking great care of me for quite some time. Here's why you should ask for him: -- Extremely polite, professional while being easy going. -- Provides a pampering experience absolutely on par with 5-Star spa. -- He's an absolute perfectionist that takes obvious pride in his work. -- He'll make you feel like the most important person in the world. Bottom line, you can't do any better!

My barber is Luis, very professional super friendly. I went in months ago and he has not missed a step with my cuts. He understood what I needed the first time and has been consistent ever since. The location is clean and the staff has been professional and friendly!

Stopped in to get my son a haircut as a walk in since I had heard good things about this place. Waited about 20 minutes for the next available barber. By chance we got Luis. I asked for a military style flat top. (It's hard to find anyone that can do this these days.) Luis did an AMAZING cut for my son!! We will be back!

Got my haircut here about 5 times and all my experiences were good till the last one. Runye (forgive me if I'm misspelling) was great at cutting and very attentive but due to my schedule changing I wasn't able to get an appointment at times where she was available. Had my last cut with Rocky who did a great job but rushed the cut due to me being 10 mins late to the appointment (sorry) and wasn't able to get the whole shampoo, hot towel service they provide. I still had to pay the full $35 they charge for the cheapest cut and a little tip as I was happy with how the haircut came out. My issue with the place isn't how they cut but rather how pricey it is for the service you get, the opportunity cost do not match in my eyes therefore this place is not one I'd recommend. Also noticed that I even got a little cut from the haircut lol so the cut being rushed is something that can be shown just by looking at my head.

I have been getting my hair cut here for almost a year now. I normally get Darwin but when he's booked up I've had Elizabeth the last 2 times and she's been fantastic. Perfect haircut and even when they are busy she still took the time and made it feel casual and relaxed. I really like this place and both the barbers I've gotten so far.

Elizabeth does a wonderful job of listening to what I want done and then making that happen! Warm environment and easy scheduling. Highly recommend Elizabeth for men's grooming.

Third time getting a hair cut here, the first 2 visits were well worth the price "no rush = perfection"... THIS TIME.. I got Elizabeth.. and I won't be going back.. here's why. Apart from her wearing headphones and listening to music the entire time, and me having to repeat my self not to cut my bangs and don't trim my eyebrows.. and please can you face me towards the mirror so I can see what your doing, that's what it's there for.. and please can you be more gentle when combing my hair because your ripping some out. I was left with a short bangs, and ONE trimmed eyebrow, the low fade is spotty.. not even.. Super angry with hair super jittery... and aggressive waving clippers and scissors around my face.. hair going into my eyes... I had more pleasant hair cuts in prison.

Had Runya today and it was a lucky day for me. Haircut and a shave and WOW she was incredible! Did exactly as I asked. Warm towels, conditioner and a head rub. May need to trade in my wife for her. This place is just the best. Finally a spot for guys. Now I know why the ladies live their salons. Can't brag enough about service and staff. Thanks Roosters for another great cut and shave.

Old school barber shop in 2019, I've had Rocky cutting my hair for quite a while and I can't say enough about him and the shop! Rocky is a true class act and a phenomenal barber, he always takes extra time to make sure everything is perfect, he truly is a master of his craft. Roosters is a class act from start to finish and wouldn't think about going anywhere else to get my hair cut. My hats of to Rocky and the rest of the Roosters staff!

Ended up coming back because of how good the prior service was before my last experience, and I'm proud to say it was the best experience I've ever had. Runya was kind, patient, and took her time in making me feel pampered and not rushed. I can't recommend her hard work enough. Easily worth every penny and would definitely recommend

I called this morning to set an appointment for the day. The staff informed me they had an opening at 10:30. So I came in for the appointment window. Upon sitting in the waiting room for a barber to open up another customer walks in and says he has an appointment at the same time and they immediately took him in the back to start the cut. I waited for several mins after to see if a staff member would give insight to why I am not being honored for my appointment time and nothing happened. I would strongly suggest to set appointments at the time you are setting them and if not inform the customers what is happening. I do not have any time to be wasted like I have done today that is why I stood up and walked out of the business. I would not come back to this establishment with this first impression. Thank you for making the decision easy for me. Good luck in future business, it won't be from me.

We would always go to roosters and never had a problem but the last two times have been awful. They took advantage of one of my family members who is older and charge him more money and took an exorbitant tip from them. They try to make well on it by giving us a credit but after speaking with them and go on back and again they did basically the same thing. Although they might give a somewhat good haircut and beard trim the service there is not good. I would go somewhere else.

My husband has always went to whatever hair salon was offering the lowest prices but this time he was looking for a nice haircut and shave--roosters was recommended. He didn't have an appointment and just walked in so it was nice that they took him right back. The woman at the desk offered beverages while I waited but I declined. My husband ordered the gentleman's choice which includes a nice hot towel treatment. After his cut he was sat in the waiting area for someone to come back from their lunch break to do his shave-- he waited almost 30min between the two. He loved the experience but would suggest making an appointment so your cut and shave are combined.

Rooster's has become our family's choice for boy haircuts. We love the ability to make a reservation online. They remember how we like our haircuts from one time to the next, and we can always count on it looking fantastic when done. Dad's absolute favorite is the hot towel treatment when getting his hair washed...so relaxing.

Terrible customer service. I made an appointment for 12 online got to location at 11:45. They said it shouldn't be long At 12:15 a barber was finished then he was on computer. At 12:28 a person with 12:15 appointment cane in and he took him I said I had a 12 he said I had to wait for other barber. I left because I already waited over a 1/2 hour. I don't know why they have appointments

Best barber ever! I've been to many barbershops trying to find a combination of professionalism, courtesy, and quality. Anthony definitely has all of these qualities. Always on-time with appointments, and very consistent with his fresh cuts.

One of my best haircuts ever. Jennifer was awesome. Very personable and knowledgeable about what would work for my hair. Will defiantly be going back to see her in the future.

Just moved to the area and needed to find a good barber. After reading reviews and due to proximity I decided to choose Roosters. Luis was my barber and I was in and out right at 30 min. He used clippers to cut the top of my hair not scissors which to me is a sign of laziness. On top of it all, after I got home I realized he didn't even cut my bangs and now they are way longer than the rest of my hair which is annoying. The worst thing is that he charged me 45 dollars. Let me repeat that, 45 dollars plus 7 tip for a freaking skin fade. Been getting skin fades for 15 years and the most I ever paid was 25 plus tip. Seriously got the double whammy after getting ripped off and a crappy haircut. Will never go back ever.

Got a cut by Louis and a shave by Rocky; the experience was pleasurable & relaxing, both Louis & Rocky take pride in their craft and that pride transfers back to the customer with their service. I would highly recommend and will be going back again... I speak from experience, I was a former salon owner and was looking for a place to get a cut & shave close to home since I recently sold my shop.

When you first walk in you are immediately greeted by a professional, friendly and courteous staff member who is ready to accommodate. (None of this screaming "HELLO" from across the floor and "HAVE A SEAT" or "SIGN THE BOOK" type of greeting from some pimply faced teen who doesn't want to be there. You will instantly notice that this establishment is very clean and classy looking. With its dark wood grain stations and chairs that give you a sense of old world quality services that time has forgotten. It sets off a relaxed and peaceful mood. Rather than the typical loud music or 10 televisions with a sports mayhem environment. As you sit and watch the stylists at work, you cant help but notice by their professional appearance that they posses a higher skill set than average. They work and move like artists, as if they were creating fine works of art with every attention to detail paid. Not once looking at the clock to rush you out of the chair and always asking for your approval before letting you go. One of my problems was finding a stylist that could not only duplicate exactly what I wanted from a picture, but also one who possesses that skill set to do it consistently. I finally found that perfect stylist in a place that I feel comfortable spending my hard earned money in. See you in three weeks Elizabeth!

I am always apprehensive when I need to change stylists/barbers. I found myself "on the hunt" and discovered Roosters. My first experience yesterday greatly exceeded my expectations. This placeis everything you should expect from a quality barber shop. The cut, wash, style service I received from Darwin was first-rate. Being his first time working on my hair, he demonstrated amazing patience, caution, and professionalism as he gotr to know what it was I was looking for in a proper haircut. The results were outstanding for an inital cut! This place may not be for everyone. It's not an inexpensive cookie-cutter "flowbie"-cut kind of place; but it's definitely a place where you can go, relax, slow down, clear your head, and be pampered as you get your hair cut.

I'll go out of town or go someplace quick and almost always get a bad haircut . Where do I go when I need it fixed ? There's no other place than this location . Make an appointment with Rocky and and let him work his magic !!! I'm tellin ya I come with some messed up do's and plead with him "fix me rocky I'm an imbecile " . Say no more . Gets me right feeling good with a slick haircut . I PROMISE no more Supercuts . Rocky is straight to business and also a pleasure to talk to . I highly recommend this place and especially Rocky .

Needed a haircut and shave...went online and made an appointment with Luis....on time...very personable.....cut hair and great shave in less than an hour......time well spent....will be back.
