I've really wanted to like Rooster's, but they're about as mid as you can get. The chicken is just from a purveyor and there's no effort put into the sauces or seasonings. You can make the same strips, wings and fries at home with an air fryer and store bought sauces and seasonings. I respect that the owner is a veteran, but this is really low effort chicken. With all of the franchise options available, which are all tremendously better in terms of taste and consistency, I'm not sure why I'd spend my money here. If you want to support a local food truck owned by a veteran, sure, go for it, but Rooster's needs to step their chicken game up.
