First and last time got two ten wing combos sat for 45 min waiting to be served cuz our server was translating for another table and the four other servers stood there and made rude comments about their other staff and left us sitting then we only get 7 wings each as we take our meal too go. Ridiculous for the amount spent. Editing to clarify the waitresse who did serve us was wonderful and was clearly busy running circles around the other waitresses. She had a black bun I didn't catch her name, props to her.

On a work trip from Denver stopped by after hearing so much about this place. It did not disappoint Jill the bartender was very friendly and made some solid recommendations. If you want a good wing with solid service plus a good atmosphere check this place out.

Tried this place for the first time tonight, overall it was pretty good. I just didn’t like how runny the Buffalo sauce was for my chicken.

Tried Roosters for the first time while visiting from out of town. We ordered fried pickles, fries, and bone in wings. The fried pickles were pretty decent and the fries were really good. They had this really yummy blend of spices and fry sauce. As for the wings we got all the wings with the hot sauce which had good flavor but the sauce seemed really “soupy” and didn’t stick to the wings very well. The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant felt pretty clean.

Had lunch at Roosters today. Ordered wings, 2 sides and a Cobb salad. The wings were meh…the sauce didn’t stick to them at all but the salad was terrible. It had an off flavor to it and full of wilted lettuce. We clearly didn’t finish it and told the waitress that it didn’t taste right. She didn’t offer to replace, comp or make anything right with the order, she handed us our check and a small box for the wings and took the salad. Both of our stomachs were upset after eating there…will not go back and would not recommend! Called the manager to try and remedy the issue and was shrugged off. For $50 you can go elsewhere and get a better meal without feeling horrible afterwards

They have amazing flavor of wings. I love watching sports. Everyone is extremely friendly. Taylor is a real treat. Beautiful eyes, great customer service, and a vicious personality. She talked back to me and I think I’m in love. 10/10 recommend going…and requesting Taylor.

Wings and ice cold beer was delicious. Menu is plentiful with many options for wing flavors, serving sizes and other fare if you don't want wings. Excellent service , clean establishment.

We were in Grand Junction for night and we were craving for chicken wings. We searched nearby and by seeing good reviews we decided to have food at Roosters. Roosters is an amazing chicken wings restaurant with chicken wings having different sauce options, We were greeted by our server and seated on the table. She bought water plus menus for us. After exploring the menu I decided to order for drinks Dirty Hippie Beer and for dinner we ordered Chicken Wings with two different flavors and Chicken Salad. The server first bought beer for us. The beer was good and it was local beer. The wings were delicious and we loved the wing. They were perfect with correct amount of spice. The Chicken Salad was delicious with fresh ingredients. Amazing restaurant to try for beer and chicken wings. We loved it.

I went here with my family today after golfing. I got the sunami and buffalo wings. Sunami wings were delicious and unique. Buffalo was good as always. Our server was high energy, helpful, and kind. He made sure we had lots of waters and sauces. He explained the different flavors to my mom and gave us samples. Excellent service. The food was great too. A really good experience overall. Highly recommend.

It wasn't very busy for lunch time and that was totally fine! The fried pickles are done of the best we've had and the chicken wings are chefs kiss delicious! Crispy and juicy and very flavorful! We don't have a Rooster's where we live so we wanted to check it out! Staff was very friendly! Restaurant and bathroom were both clean and inviting! Would highly recommend! Roosters met our expectations of craving wings while in town. The flavors were great!! We also tried the chili cheese fries because of other recommendations and only the red was available but they were great too! The service could improve tremendously! The ladies working all appear busy running around but 5 ladies for 15 or so tables is a bit much for the slowwwwww appearance at your table. We waited 10+ minutes to be greeted at the only available dirty table, then had to completely empty our drinks, wait 5 minutes, then be asked if we wanted another. As someone with experience in the service industry this is unacceptable.

Raise their $'s, don't change menu $s, add pick-up sur $charges & do away w/app. 1/2 $ on Fridays. Call in order - never ready - have to wait - food portions cut down. All this to MAX $profits & screw the customer. Won't ever eat there again. Worse food in valley. *PIC of their rocky mtn. oysters - barf!

Service was great. They have rocky mountain oysters, which for some reason are hard to find.

Walked in and went to the bar to order . Was greeted at the bar by one of women who works there and she was nice and very quick to come ask me if I needed anything . I ordered a voodoo ranger beer and it was crisp ,tasty and cold ! Big plus ! Now time for the food ...I ordered 1. Golden burger - it should called a rock burger because that thing was just a rock . The taste to it was terrible , cheese was burnt which turned it into tough chewy cheese , and nothing about this burger was good at all . 0/10 would not recommend 2 onion string - probably the best thing out of this entire meal . Crunchy and golden perfectly . 10/10 3.bbq baked beans - definitely doesn't go along with this meal but I figured I'd give them a try cause I'm from Texas and us Texas boys love our baked bbq beans ! They were good for some Colorado baked bbq beans . 8/10 I would not come back to eat here tbh , I'm a one time type of guy ..once it's ruined for me it's tough to come back to a spot when you have a bad experience with the food itself .

Enjoyed Roosters for years but last night was a disappointment. Do they not fry them anymore? Skin not crisp and broken bones.

I have been a patron for over 20 years, and I have to say my visit tonight was the worst. I have literally dinned here over 100 times. This restaurant has been going downhill little by little for years. The only thing keeping us coming back was the food and now that is hit or miss. Tonight we waited 50 minutes for our food, the order was all mixed up, cold and the tenders were burnt. They have changed their fries (not for the better). Don't get me wrong the flavors are amazing and way better than the other major chain in town. It's sad, I love wings but I think I'm finally done putting up with subpar food and service.

Unfortunately this place has gone down faster than a house in a Palisades wildfire. Been a customer for over 20 years. I don't think I would even poop here, let alone eat here again. What happened management?

Went for a birthday celebration and sat on the patio . We kept smelling something foul so I walked about 5 feet from my table to find this . Absolutely disgusting! I didn't order food cause of the smell . And don't even get me started on how horrific the bathroom is ! I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like . YUCK!

Wings are good. Service was good. I do have a problem with their no online ordering and the 18% to go fee. They don't warn you. It just shows up. It's not on their website either. I think it's purposely hidden.

I've been here many times and the quality and quantity has been excellent Patty melt for me and cheese steak for the wife. 15 garlic Parmesan wings and Cobb salad. Food to go tonight and it was outstanding again.

This restaurant has good chicken wings. They were prepared well and the selection of sauce was great. The coleslaw was excellent and the french fries were very good too.

Great waitress! Food is good but need to focus on cleaning. Napkin dispenser, condiment stand, and wall behind booth were filthy.

We eat here at least twice a month and as much as we enjoy the wings at Roosters, we will not return. Since it is pretty noisy in the restaurant we decided to order to go. I ordered 30 wings ($37.00), side of fries and onion strings ($11.00). The bill was over $60.00, when I inquired as to why, I was told they charge a $8.00 or 18% for "to go orders". I told them that was ridiculous and was told that if we were eating in I would be tipping, to that I replied "for good service". No where on their website or menu does it reveal this charge. BUYER BEWARE, we will find another place to get our wings.

oh my gosh the golden burger will knock your socks offf the french fries are sooo stickin good also the fry sauce is immaculate!

Our wings were soaked in sauce!! Drowning it in! It was incredible! Great flavor and great service. Lots of space on the inside. The waitress always kept my drink full and boy do I drink lots of water. We got some fried pickles and mozzarella sticks too. Great appetizers. Great drinks. Great staff!

Their wings used to be amazing. Then they dropped having the best sauces for them and now on to go orders they are charging 18% gratuity for a to go fee. If this place could get minus numbers, that would be it don't waste your time don't waste your money.

Both food and service are great! I've had the green chili several times and it's by far one of the best I've tried! Sundays are the best here, hands down

Amazing sauces. The meat was amazing, and the wings were drenched in sauce. The tater tots are delicious, especially with their fry sauce.

This restaurant is amazing. I'm not sure what is going on with the yelp cover photo though. It reads as creepy and ignorant for people to walk through a back gate to take pictures in the back of a restaurant of fryer waste. Maybe the owners should apologize for properly cleaning their fryers every day? Clearly whoever wrote that review and posted that heinous picture has never worked in a restaurant before and I'm embarrassed for them. That kind of review is nosey, judgmental, and indecent.

Just there earlier great place music employee was great definitely for wings and beer oh liked the fried pickles

Great atmosphere. friendly staff. and amazing wings. Buffalo Wild Wings does not hold a candle to this place. I stop and eat here every time in in Grand Junction!

I've been to Roosters twice now. It's a casual spot with seating and a small bar. They have pretty average wings, which shouldn't be the case if your restaurant centers around wings as your speciality. They do have a wide selection of sauces which are pretty tasty. The garlic parm sauce however is not that great. The wings aren't very crispy and they kind of haphazardly throw some sauce onto them. Service is not very friendly or attentive, at least at the bar. I'd say there are better spots around town to get your wing cravings taken care of.

Best place ever won a 75 inch TV in a random drawing. Great food, great service and awesome staff.

We were just kicked out at 9:32 after sitting for 15 minutes. The one waitress saw us and made a face. The second waitress said someone will come help you in a minute. Finally they sent the bartender to tell us they were closed for 30 minutes. Eventhough we've been sitting here for 15 and no one said a word. Secondly EVERYTHING says they close at 10. There are still at least 6 full tables, which I know doesn't necessarily matter. We've been regulars for many many years, didn't even need a menu to order. If they were closed why didn't the first 2 waitresses say so.

I was told the wings here were good. So we went. Order 18 traditional wings combo. you can choose 3 sauces and 2 sides with that. they kindly let you try any sauces before you order. We had garlic parm, warlock, and one sweet apricot base sauce (don't remember the name) the garlic parm wasn't very garlicky. I tried a few sauces, they tasted pretty much the same to me. Most of them are vinegary. Don't have good balance IMO. The one with the apricot tastes the most balanced. The hottest sauce was not hot to me at all. (I usually order mango habanero with a side of blazing sauce when I go to BWW) The wings themselves were ok. I was not wowed by those. But the fries were great. The place was average. Soap dispenser in the restroom was missing a piece. Table was a bit sticky. Our waitress was nice and attentive, however.

I really like their wings and their sauce. Wings are big and saucy. Love the to go containers, too. No possibility of leaking and making a mess. The servers were very generous with the ranch and blue cheese as well.

I went to this restaurant since I was in college and it's been a favorite ever since, even had birthday parties here. The wings are just the right size to have a lot of surface area and let each bite be covered in sauce. They aren't stingy with the sauce either and will let you dip your wings in the leftover sauce in the basket. The wings are consistently cooked well and slightly crisp. Their fries and sides are all good and the wing combo is a better deal than you get a most wings places. Service is quick for the most part, but there are times they get filled to capacity and it becomes chaos. I recommend going around happy hour and save a few bucks and get excellent service. Unfortunately it seems they changed their wing supplier and now the wings are huge and a bite drags off the skin and you choke on a bunch of skin and chicken fat. Really gross. Hope they go back to the old formula. If not I'll have to lower my review.

At first glance this seems like a fun place, but don't let the looks fool you. It's a train wreck; it's seat yourself so finding a clean empty table is few and far, then once you do, no server knows what sections or tables they're supposed to watch so that takes a while. We were able to order drinks as we got or menu and the next time we saw the waitress was to take our order, so we had to order our appetizer at the same time. While waiting we noticed on all of the many TVs, that the play off football game was on three right next to each other-on the same side of the building.When our server stopped by to tell us our appetizer was "coming soon", We kindly asked our server to change one of the other tv on the opposite side of the room, so everyone at our table could watch the ONLY CURRENTLY ON playoff football game. We were told that they could not change the 3 tvs with the same game on, we said that's fine we would like one of the other tvs that was either playing an old football game from week 9 or college basketball, they again said they were not allowed to change the channels. We let it go. Eventually while still waiting on food and appetizer a manager(?) shows up to work, whoopin and hollerin about just making it to work. Our lunch finally shows up and looks like it's been sitting in the window waiting to come out, still no appetizer, so we ask and eventually it comes out. Looked like they forgot and made a new one after we already even had our food. Food probably would have been good if it was fresh. THEN a different table asks the "manager" to change the basketball game and she happily put on the football game from week 9. I brought up that to the server they flat out told me they couldn't change it and then did. She said it's "nothing could be done, she just works there". All while the manager is yelling across to another server about a go order . Guess it was just my party and myself that couldn't watch anything different. ouch...

The smallest wings I have ever seen at around two dollars a piece. The sauce was literally water, it was a bowl of liquid with plain chicken wings floating around. Do not order the Crystal Mountain sauce it is literally just a bowl of water. Disgusting. I spent over $30 and left starving, I only had one beer

My family and I were in CO for vacation and found this spot. I read the previous review posted 22 hours before my visit that mentioned the air conditioning was out. I called the restaurant to ask, because I don't want to eat in a restaurant with no air conditioning. The person who answered the phone laughed at me and told me pretty much I don't know what I'm talking about. My family still wanted to go so we went. Service was horrible, it was definitely hot in the building, food was disgusting and plastic silverware was used for everything. Go somewhere better.

The food was good and I wouldn't go back because of the service. The tables were dirty. The menu was sticky and dirty. The drinks for margaritas seemed to be watered down. Lots of flies and a bug in our drink and Amanda said it was my fault. Jason the manager was a jerk and said the sign on the wall was for real stating amazing enough I don't give a shit. That's for real because when we came in and Amanda was our waitress (which we only tipped $6 on a $70 tab because of the bad service) it took her 10 minutes to come back and ask what we wanted. Asked for a straw that took 5 minutes. Asked for a Pepsi that took 10 minutes and I had to walk up to her cuz she'd been talking to a table for 5 minutes and ask again for a Pepsi. No apologies. My fault again. I'm use to a service industry not Jason the manager sitting at the bar drinking beer. I have pictures. Waited for a taxi and I asked for a margarita and he said you're cut off wait outside in the heat. Oh well! jerk I'm 67 with my mother and he told us to go outside it's 100plus out. Horrible customer service.

You are better off going to anywhere else than here. The servers were more interested in socializing than working. I don't mind seating myself, but when We also have to wait 10 mins to be acknowledged and given a menu... pfft. They acted like they were doing us a favor. The entire restaurant feels "sticky" as in worn out seats, sticky menus and even the plate looked and felt dirty. I ordered a Western Hamburg that was so greasy the bun literally fell apart. The fries weren't bad but also overly greasy. We had to step over a homeless guy to go into the restaurant. Now, I'm not one to write bad reviews easily, but this is my second let down at this place. The first time was a massive pick up order mishap where they gave me some else's order. If there was ever a place that needed Gordon Ramsey to come in and kick some butt, it's this place. Never again.

The worst service ever! Have been coming here for years and was very disappointed by Abby's service. She completely ignored us and laughed as she said our order was wrong. She was too busy flirting to do her job.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The waitresses are extremely disrespectful and childish. If you send anything back they give you endless attitude and petty jokes throughout your entire stay, which will be hours by the way takes an hour to get a side salad so also don't come if you don't have your entire night to waste. Found out that at the end they think it's okay to act this way because they add gratuity on their own. :) This is the second time I've tried this place and both experiences were absolutely terrible. Haven't met a single nice waitress or friendly staff in general.

So fo the past week the air has been out. At 8pm it is 85* in the restaurant. Flies are crazy.

Honestly disappointed with takeout food quality. I used to love getting the philly cheese steak from here but tonight I took a bite into what was like week old meat with chewy bits in every bite. The bread alone felt like it cleaned the top of the grill because it was so greasy and falling apart at the touch. the bottom was soggy with grease. It basically tasted microwaved all the way through because the cheese was rubbery and bunching everything in the middle if the sandwich. You're met with a slippery top bun that drenches your hand in grease and a soggy cold greasy bottom bun with tire and Silly putty in the middle. If you take anything from this review stick to their delicious chicken wings in doubt that is what they make best. ..

Roosters lives up to it's slogan...SERIOUSLY GOOD WINGS! Rooster's menu offers a lot of options.from salads to burgers to sandwiches, every foodie can find something yummy. Their kid menu is very good, too. However, their wings get the gold star! The sauce options are broad and they are generous with it. Dip in some ranch or blue cheese...mmm mm. Our family always gets 10 piece wing orders in Tsunami (teriyaki and wasabi), Warlock (spicy mustard and garlic), Honey BBQ, & fries (with fry sauce). Their potato salad is also very good! We ask for EXTRA CRISPY. Always delicious. We are never disappointed. The atmosphere is laid back and fun. TVs offer sports games, usually. The service is really great. The serving staff is friendly, enthusiastic, and go above and beyond to make sure you're happy...and we are.

My favorite restaurant in GJ, they by far have the best wings. Golden wings and onion strings are the way to go.

Good food stopped here on my way to Denver. I got the wing combo and everything thing I had was taste. The chili had a little spice and tasted good.

This place is consistent, and has great hot wing sauce options. The kids love it too.

Used to be such a good place to get wings! Code word here (used to) Went back with a group of friends, and immediately could tell we were in for a ride. Wings came out looking like we ordered from pizza hut and tasted about the same.. We're given six tablespoon equivalent ranch cups for our party...not nearly enough. When we requested extra...sure for 2.00/4 cups! Ridiculous. Mind you this group frequently has eaten out together, and never once has the gratuity been auto charged to our bill Here...they do. And the kicker? They don't even bother to mention it! Everyone in our group tips out very well considering we typically spent close to 200 with food and drinks. The restraunt being sneaky meant the waitress lost out. We won't go again such a bummer to see how crappy they've become.

I absolutely love this place! Excellent service tonight excellent service any night! Excellent food. I have never had a bad meal here. The servers know exactly what they're doing and they take very good care of you. Katy keeps it real at the bar...amazing! Love Nikki! Love them all! They all take good care of us and serve us delicious food. Kudos to the cooks in the back.
