The Root & Branch Coffee roastery is a single room designed with the purpose of showcasing their product to coffee fans in Belfast the way they want it to be. Although the opening hours are limited, staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee they serve. Visitors can see & smell coffee being roasted on a 5kg Giesen machine

The coffee shop and roastery is nice for a to-go, little short of seating to sit in. The beans are quite expensive but the 1kg subscription, for the quality, is decent value vs. the smaller cans. They clearly know what they are doing, so the beans come at a bit of a premium.

Great to see this type of business in East Belfast. The place had a small shop incorporated, the coffee we stapled and bought was exquisite and the guy who served is was very knowledgeable and amenable. I hope more people get to appreciate thus little gem on their doorstep, now that we are all evolving into coffee snobs.

One of the best coffee roasters in UK & Ireland

Crisp and clean vibes to the bar and roastery with serious quality on their espresso and pour. Staff super friendly and allowed me to experience their coffee ten minutes prior to opening given the rush I was in. Obviously care about their product and roast.

Fabulous. Simon and his team have created a little urban emporium dedicated to roasting and serving lovely coffee. But there's a great cafe society vibe as well. Liberty and free thought are alive and well in East Belfast.
