Wow this place is great!!! I went in with damaged, badly bleached hair and came out a new woman!!! Sandi does AMAZING color and gave me the exact haircut I described. The vibe at the salon is very laid back and I felt very comfortable there. Prices are extremely reasonable.

Adrian and Hans are the dream team when it comes to hair. They are both extremely skilled and talented in their craft. Not only do they go the extra mile to make sure you get what you want when it comes to your cut and color, they will also make sure that your hair stays happy and healthy in the process. I’ve been to several salons in the past where I’d bring a picture of what I envision for my hair, and every time I would leave disappointed! But with Adrian and hans I always leave with a gorgeous color and cut that goes far beyond what I could of dreamed of. They truly are hair ninjas. Although they are already incredibly amazing at what they do, my favorite thing about them is that no matter how good they are they NEVER STOP LEARNING & GROWING. They are always up to par on the latest techniques and making sure their clients get an unforgettable experience every time they sit in their chairs. They are truly living out their purpose and it shows in their work. Highly recommend Root salon to everyone!

Hans is the absolute best. I’ve been with him for 8 years? 10 years? Time flies when you’re having fun! The salon is always a treat to be in. If you want an elevated experience, you need to go to this salon!

I have known the owners for years and this is my go to place for my hair and my wife's hair! The salon is beautiful and the people even more beautiful. If you are looking for a very professional yet chill experience root is the place. If you are in between places to get your hair needs answered I promise this will be your last stop.

I have been going to Adrian for years and wouldn’t trust anyone else to cut/color my hair. Every single stylist at Root is incredibly talented and patient (this coming from the girl who always walks in not knowing what I want to do with my hair!) Adrian is one of the kindest and most down-to-earth human beings that I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, all while remaining highly professional. We love and trust this salon so much, my husband and son both see Hans (my son even had his first haircut there!) I cannot say enough wonderful things about Root and the insanely talented stylists that work there. I’ve had the pleasure of having Adrian create beautiful every day looks for me to gorgeous up do’s for Mardi Gras balls and most recently creating the most stunning looks for my wedding (including my often hard to please teen daughter’s perfect look that had her exuding confidence, as she sported an ear to ear smile walking down the aisle!) I cannot think of another stylist, other than Adrian, that I’ve put my full faith in without hesitation in regards to trying new colors/cuts and I can attest that I’ve never left her chair unsatisfied. She genuinely cares about not only making her clients look good, but FEEL good as well. I’ve been to plenty of other salons over the years in which the staff came across as snooty and judgmental. The atmosphere in Root is the complete opposite. From the moment you walk in, until the moment you leave, everyone is so warm, inviting and accepting, which ranks just as high in importance to me as the services offered. Our entire family are definitely forever clients and wish nothing but continued success for everyone at Root. They truly deserve it!

i have been going to Hans now for a few years and i couldn't be happier with my haircut. This place has a great vibe. Everyone is very nice and it overall has a very enjoyable atmosphere. I highly recommend root salon to anyone that wants there hair well taken care of.

Not going to say much b/c nice people in general just didn't know how to cut my hair and lowlights washed out in a week. They do a good business and people love them , so don't want to interrupt with my honesty.

Unfortunately, i had a very unprofessional and disappointing experience at the Root salon. I had been recommended to go there by a friend and was looking forward to transform my professionally dyed brown hair to something lighter and blended before my vacation. The day of my appointment, my hairstylist i originally booked with was unable to make it due to health reasons which i completely understand. She then recommended another stylist at the salon. The stylist at the saloon was only able to see me at 1pm and my original appointment was at 3pm. I work a 9-5 corporate job and it is not easy for me to rearrange my schedule such short notice,but wanting my hair done before i left the for my vacation in Mexico i decided to give her a shot. She did wait for me as i was only able to get off around 1:20pm. The hairstylist who dyed my hair was kind, but had to ask for help multiple times from her fellow stylist. The moment i saw my hair i was holding back tears as in my opinion it was completely different from what I had asked for. I kept saying i want to be light but cared more about my hair being blended. After i paid 215 dollars and tipped the stylist i left crying. I was so upset, and personally like to find humor in situations, so I created a TikTok, based off the TikTok trend "this is what i wanted and this is what i got." I did not tag the hairstylist or the salon in my video, as my original hairdresser said she would try to fit me me in as soon as she could. While on my vacation in Mexico i received a text at 2:28 am CT from my original hair dresser saying i was no longer welcome there and she canceled my appointment due to my negative reaction to my hair. I find this completely unprofessional to send text messages at 2:28 am in the morning regardless of the situation. I have attached the text messages I sent directly after my appointment and the TikTok for reference and as you can read for yourself her response. I only want to warn people and speak about my personal experience with the salon and the owner. I do believe her text was completely unprofessional and quite frankly rude and childish. I originally had no intentions of leaving any review as i had expected my future appointment with the owner to fix it. Unfortunately since her text message made it clear she has no desire to amend the situation, my review is necessary to warn and inform future and current clients. Always a great vibe at this salon! Every stylist is friendly and energetic. I followed my colorist, Megan, from another salon because I love how she does my hair, recommendations she makes, and their overall treatment! Street parking.

Wow...I knew someone who was a Stylest at this salon. I Asked if she could help with my hair color. Due to a very busy schedule, she was unable to do it, and actually referred me to another stylist, Sandi. Soooooooo grateful she directed me to Sandi. Sandi listened to what I was wanting & took my color to the next level! She elevated any expectations I may have unconsciously been harboring. I was surprised, excited, and so incredibly happy with the final product. This place is a WINNER in my books

Adrian is the Queen Bee Master Stylist and teacher. I would never let anyone touch my blonde locks. I have been lucky enough to know this Gem as my stylist and friend for 6 years. She is always up to date on the newest trends and best looks for your lifestyle and personality. Not to mention every stylist at Root is just as talented and amazing.

Amazing ! I texted Cody the day before and she immediately took me at 8am . I needed my highlights to be tamed and my hair color to even out better . Last time I colored my hair was a year ago and my highlights look yellow. I have a lot of hair and very thick. She colored the top and toned all my highlights . I needed a professional look and she did it in 2 hours . My other salon usually took 4-5 hours on my hair . Price was very reasonable . Place was very clean and easy to find . And one of the best parts is she offered my coffee knowing it was an early appointment and I likely didn't have time to grab one. They do not have designated parking but the street has lots of spots, I just parked on the side street

Trang has been doing my hair and I love her/it! She has been in the beauty industry for over 15 years! She is not only sweet and a wonderful person she also cares so much about the integrity of my hair. I'm normally dark brown(Asian hair) and she gets me blond every time with very minimal (if any) breakage! Everyone here at the salon is very sweet and welcoming. Love them all!

Hans and Adrian are super cool and talented! Hans has been cutting my hair for a few years now (I do my own color) and I always walk out loving it. I am usually the type of person who freaks out and can't stand my haircut for the first 24 hours but with Hans I love it from the second I look in the mirror. I love the space. Very clean, stylish, minimalist space with a beautiful tree painted on the wall. Great people, great hair skillz, great place!

I see Nicki for my color and Amal for my cuts and they make an awesome team. I actually started going to them when they worked in a salon near my home and didn't hesitate to follow them to Root. I constantly get compliments on my hair and I leave there feeling great, every time. They are so nice and so friendly and they don't try to push product on you. The new salon is convenient, comfortable, and clean. Love it, love them, love my hair!

I have been seeing Hans to cut our hair for several years now and so does my boyfriend. We always love our hair! Hans always knows exactly what I want even though I'm terrible at explaining. Him and his wife do so many workshops and are always ahead of the newest styles and techniques so of course when the two of them opened their own salon I followed! The salon is gorgeous, minimalistic and so clean. Nikki is also followed them to the new salon and she saved my life with color corrections and the most beautiful balayages a girl could ask for. Best part is being night shift they always have late evening appointments and have been so flexible.

Excellence! Amal provided a great service all around! She was easy to talk with and friendly. I love the cut :) she helped me figure out the style I was looking for and gave me the time I needed to feel satisfied and I am!!
