So,the reason service is 3 is that you order, pay, and get your own food when it's done. The employees did ask if I needed anything else, which was kind to make sure. The atmosphere in the Avanti F & B was nice, but a lot. Tables are mostly communal, and there are some actual bad spots to sit when busy and a projector screen down. The fish and chips were perfect. The fish was cooked to the point where the batter was done, the fish was flaky but not overcooked, and the crisp was epic. I was provided an aoli, which was tangy, savory, and herby. The flavor was just perfect. The fries were crispy and were even better with a drizzle of malt vinegar. If you are on Pearl, then stop by Rooted. I know I will go back to try one of the other entrees.

The chicken sandwich was frankly terrible. We also got the tuna sandwich, which was cold tuna salad on a partially grilled piece of bread. The staff was polite and the fries were good. it's also a good location.

Great lunch spot!! My wife got the grilled cheese and tomato soup and I got the fried chicken sandwich with fries. Despite being seemingly simple meals, both were executed extremely well and have their own unique touch! Rooted is a must for a nice casual lunch in Boulder!

Had exceptional fish and chips. The fish was soft, perfectly cooked and the batter was crispy, light, and airy. Very comparable to Gordon Ramsay fish n chips las vegas which has the best fish and chips ever. The fried are covered in a vinegary powder which pairs very well with the fish. 4* only because this second experience was our best experience. We tried the fish before but it was thin like fish sticks, and thus overcooked. Todays visit was exceptional.

The Colorado burger was a Really Good burger. It's a little spicy with some amazing sauce topping. Took a little while to come out but worth it. Includes fries.

Ordered the $12 beet salad with spring greens, fresh and roasted beets, and goat cheese. Got a salad with maybe 1/5th of a roasted golden beet and spinach/arugula blend. I guess this would be fine for a $5 side salad, but not a $12 entree salad with a completely different green in the description. Very disappointed.

I ordered the Craft Mac & Cheese with green chili. The cheese was creamy and quite savory. The green chili was also loaded with complementary flavors and really packed a punch. I will definitely order this again!

I had the fish and salt and vinegar fries. Delicious. The chips (cod) was fresh and crispy. I absolutely loved the lemon aioli sauce.

This is the last kitchen that I was finally able to try. Somehow, I always went with my tried and true favorites and I have now been to that were opened back to Rye Society which I still miss. We ordered a variety of dishes to try today as we needed some takeout for home. The star of the order were the chicken wings which I rarely order anywhere. But my husband liked them so much, I ignored my medical rules and went ahead and indulged, just one! Very tasty not greasy, hot and fresh. It comes with a hot sauce as well as a ranch sauce too. I usually prefer hot over ranch but this was a bit too hot. We were fine with the ranch. Next favorite dish was the Ancient Grains Risotto with mushrooms and asparagus, as well as roasted tomatoes. I would have preferred more mushroom than tomatoes though the red gave a color balance. The Mac and cheese was just ok, a little dense and a little bland. Another local place that I like has a lighter sauce and an "add in" list like a pizza might. I always add artichoke hearts and it adds a lot of flavor and texture. Staff was very accommodating. The wings were hit and freshly prepared. We got quite a filling set of dishes, especially for the $value and we will order from here again. There is so much more to try.

I was very hungry after a long day of hiking. This was the place to try after scoping several others nearby, including the Sink. Burgers were mediocre. Buns were falling off. $4 fries were very salty. I couldn't finish it all. I should took it back.

The mac 'n cheese was solid and the portion was bigger than I expected (I wish they had a side option). Go to the roof for a nice view of Pearl Street Mall and Boulder, drinks, and pizza.

I expected better for the price paid and lack of service. I ordered using the mobile order system at Avanti, so there was minimal interaction with staff. Staff seemed unhappy and didn't acknowledge me when I picked up my order or respond to me thanking them. The food was fresh, the salad was good but nothing that you couldn't whip up with very simple ingredients. That said, the price for the small salad is fair and allows adding a fresh vegetable side to any meal accessible. The fish and chips LOOKED amazing, but they were not crispy. The fish was fresh and cooked well, but the breading was soft and mushy.. The sauce for dipping cost extra ($0.75, I just think that dipping sauce should be included for this type of meal), the fries were decent but the whole meal was not impressive and I would not order this entree again.

The system applies to all vendors, you place your order and provide your mobile number. They will text you once your order is ready. Food was delicious. Four stars instead of five just to give one piece of ünsolicited advise. Best to read back the cell number since I had to walk back to check on my order and found out the food was already there. Mobile number had one number off. Otherwise, food and service was good. We just all made fun of the mishap. Will I go back to this trendy place? Yes!

Chicken sandwich say it's comes with Nashville hot sauce. Not sure what their idea of Nashville hot sauce is but this definitely doesn't even come close. Chicken was luke warm as it was just sitting on an oven rack and they take it from there and just put it on the sandwich. Flavor was good, salad was good, but just not at all what I was expecting it to taste like. Was not hot whatsoever. Don't know if they forgot to put the sauce on or what but if you're looking for Nashville hot I'd skip this. Would also skip this because it's pricey for a luke warm piece of chicken.

Rooted has a small but diverse menu with plenty of health-conscious options. The wait time was very short, I probably received my meal 5 minutes after ordering. The quality of the food was great; however, the portion size was a little small for this Texas native. Very busy and fun environment!

Amazing! We were visiting Boulder for a work trip and my husband ordered this fish and chips. I loved it. The fries had some delicious seasoning, I'd guess salt, garlic, Parmesan, and parsley with a creamy dipping sauce. They were in the top 10 best fries I've ever had. The fish was crispy, flaky inside, and perfectly fried. Try this dish!

The nashville chicken sandwich is to die for. It's perfect!! The truffle parmesan fries are well worth the upgrade. I always order through my phone and it's ready before the time they provided! The staff is always nice! Worth a try if you're in Avanti!

This was a really nice experience for a larger group of people. Nice vibe at the bar, fun atmosphere. It was fun to wander around and explore. Everyone seemed really pleased and excited about their cocktails and their food. It was a little noisy for regular conversation but no one seemed to mind. We took the advice of some of the reviews and got the fish and chips. It was a hit and the french fries were bomb!!

Worst burger I had in a long time. Zero love put into the meal. I rarely ever write any reviews but that's how bad it was. On the menu it sounds quite good: wagyu beef, goat cheese, onion jam and smoked bacon. $17. Figured for that price, it must be pretty good. What I got was a semi warm thin slab of meat, a few crumbles of goat cheese and the thinnest possible layer of onion jam and I assume bacon but couldn't really tell if it was in there. Plus a stomach ache. I would not recommend.

Spectacular! We got the fish and chips here, which were perfectly cooked and amazing. I am a fry hater, because most places have mediocre fries. But these fries were some of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, and with a sprinkle of salt and vinegar. And maybe some Parmesan? The lemon aioli they served with the fish was great. We also got a Rooted Burger - American which was cooked well and delicious. My favorite thing though, was the drinks. We got a cherry drink and a champagne papi, both made with shrubs, so they were wonderfully tart and delicious. I would definitely come back and try other menu items. And also drown myself in champagne papi.

My wife ordered this burger, she told me it tasted weird and we realized the meat was raw... Nasty and Dangerous! My wife tried talking to them to cook us another patty not even a whole burger and the guy behind the counter was so ride to my wife, like it was my wife's fault the burger was raw...If my wife gets sick i know where it came from AVOID! We didn't want a refund or a new burger since we ate all the fries, we just wanted a cooked patty, hope she doesn't get sick other wise they will hear from us!

Fantastic fish and chips to share. We shared with a group of 3 and probably should have had 2 orders but it was very tasty and we loved that we could try and array of foods under one roof. The one thing I don't like is that every time I come here the menu is completely different and only had a couple of items. It's hard to know what is going to be there and sometimes they lose our business when they have out of the box things like the kimchi burger but no other options.

Delicious!!! Stopped by for a nice walk and decided to check this place out for lunch. We both had the chicken sandwich, Brussel slaw and arugula salad. It was amazing, ate everything up! On top of that, they are just so amazingly sweet and kind, great experience!

Awesome concept, super friendly staff, uninspired flavor profile in each of the six menu items we tried. The risotto, in particular, had a porridge-like consistency and was quite bland. Avanti is a nicely executed food court.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and we made a great choice coming here! Food and service were great. We sat outside and enjoyed the scenery, another bonus!

Solid, especially when consuming drinks! Great to be able to take it upstairs! I had one of the burgers with bacon on it, don't remember which one but it was great! Also liked the fries, nice and crispy from adding some flour... should have gotten condiments though!

They don't use DoorDash as advertised. . I'm a delivery driver and I wasted my time. Because they can't get it together.

This place is AMAZING! The chicken sandwich and fish and chips are the two main dishes I've tried. I also love the caprese salad from the summer menu. Please do yourself a favor and try this place--you will not be disappointed.

Three of us took advantage of a beautiful day and had lunch outside. I went with the Coastline Fish & Chips which was a solid good. Everything was fresh. The thing to be AWARE of is when you pay by credit card if you tap tap you'll end leaving a 20% tip for really no service provided other than cooking the food because you wait for the food to cook and take it to the table yourself. IMO the default should be set to zero and if I tip then change it, not change it to not tip. Kind of shady.

I tried the Coastline Fish & Chips and was unimpressed. Fish & Chips implies to me an English Fish & Chips. This doesn't taste anything like that. I didn't like the sauce they gave you. The flavor was just off. Disappointed

Do not miss this amazing restaurant. The food was creative, fresh and expertly prepared. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would drive 45 minutes to Boulder just for the chicken sandwich and fries. Check them out. You won't be disappointed!

Rooted Burger- international, coastline fish n chips & Nashville cluckin good chicken sandwich were all delicious!! And the truffle parm fries.... Ohhh yeah!! Service was friendly and on point. The employees were very knowledgeable and food came out quick. This is my new go to anytime I am in boulder!! Bonus points for the zero proof drinks!! Bonita apple bomb was my favorite (with a little tequila)!!

My favorite stall at Avanti Boulder! The staff is always so friendly, and the food outstanding. The toasted grain risotto is a must try, and for anyone looking for beautifully crafted non-alcoholic options, the Straw-N-Peppa is everything!

Our absolute favorite! Best. Burgers. Ever. Particularly love the International burger for something different than the usual. And, can never go wrong with chicken, here. Friendly team, creative zero-proof drinks - not to miss casual dining in Boulder!
