Great drinks, food and service! I went with a friend for drinks and dinner, our entire meal was great. Drinks were expertly made, balanced and clever. For appetizers we had the beans and foccacia with whipped ricotta, they were equally delicious! We had the veal milanese and it was outstanding! Nice and moist, flavorful. And the arugula salad that came with it was perfectly dressed. Finished with a carrot cake which we ended ordering 2. Highly recommend and will go back to try something different.

Hi, I don’t usually do this but I have had a couple really bad experiences here this summer. Our group ate family style both times so we sampled most everything on the menu. Sadly there were no highlights. We sent back the steak because it was beyond well cooked. The second steak that came out was literally boiled or microwaved. The service both times was incredibly slow and honestly rude which is a shock for such a small restaurant. I’m bummed because I live in Montuak and had really wanted this place to be decent. Sorry to report :/

We came in for an early dinner just as they opened on a Saturday night. The best dining experience I’ve had in Montauk, hands down! The ceviche was worth the visit alone. The space is understated and serene, the perfect atmosphere to enjoy their creative & masterfully executed menu. Thank you for providing a space in Montauk that puts such thought into every aspect of the guest experience. This will be a space we will visit any time we’re in the area.

I have to say the ricotta focaccia was top notch. Other than that- felt short The spinach gnocchi were flavorless and soaked in pesto oil The lamb ragu pasta was plain and watery Even coffee wasn’t good , disappointed

A magical 5 ✨ spot in Montauk with the freshest food and delicious menu! Everything was perfect starting with the pickle martini and ending with the gelato. The mood is set just right in Rooted with a feel good vibe where authenticity meets serenity. I loved it. I’m so glad I went and can’t wait to return!! Thank you Demi, Stephanie and crew.

Rooted is an oasis within Montauk! Food and service were outstanding. Even something as simple as the meat and cheese platter was done really well with inventive and fresh assortment. Don't forget to leave room for the carrot cake though... best I've ever had!

What a great addition to Montauk! The food, the drinks, the music, the space…..all on point. The butter poached lobster tail and the brioche bun ice cream sandwich are not to be missed!

This place is a gem! Food prepared with great care. Excellent service. Delicious with cozy vibes. My boyfriend ordered the tuna tartar. I had the spaghetti pomodoro. Will definitely come back!

Horrible restaurant and people. Charged over $200 cancellation fee after trying to contact many times, we had a travel nightmare and couldn't make it. Beware!!

Unfortunately, this was a horrible, raw, unfriendly experience at Rooted. The food was inedible and the service was not welcoming...just overall bad value for an expensive dinner. Shame...
