Delicious tandoori salmon. Served on top of a few greens and onions, so not quite a salad. Roti was hot and buttered. My daughter enjoyed her rustic chicken curry, which didn’t have cream, so was lighter than usual. Service was fast and friendly. Furniture and back of the store could use a deep cleaning and some touching up.

Fast service, great food and flavors, personally loved the genuine touch by the owner Paramjeet and our hostess/server. We had a great time with our family of 11 they were able to accommodate and seat us all together. Although it’s a small space, it felt nice to be able to try out a fusion of traditional north indian dishes and the speed of items being delivered was impressive. I would def. recommend checking this place out.

My wife and I visited Roots last night, for the first time. And first time in a long time for Indian food for both of us. The waitress did a good job in explaining some of the choices to us ‘locals’. My wife opted for the Butter Chicken, which was pretty good (yes, I sampled it). I love curry, but when I saw the ingredients for the Vindaloo Dumplings…tough choice. The waitress steered me towards the dumplings…good call! My favorite beer is anything I have not had, so I opted for the Flying Horse Royal Lager. Different, but good. And the iced tea with mint, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon was good, too. Different, but good. (As you can tell, I’m not much of a foodie…my descriptive vocabulary is basic 😆😳) We got there at 5pm, and were one of two couples. By the time we left at 6, the front of the house was full. All in all, a very good first-time experience. Should we find ourselves in the mood for Indian food, we will definitely make the trek to Melrose Ave and Roots. ✌🏻

A supper club I belong to chose this spot for our monthly restaurant and we were not disappointed! The staff all seem like family and everyone was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I appreciated the mix of traditional Indian dishes alongside creative fusion plates. The paneer masala fries and the Kashmiri alla pasta were both so unique and flavorful. The staff threw in some doughnuts for us to try at the end which was really nice. I definitely recommend this spot for groups with dietary needs. Everything was clearly marked and there were a lot of vegan options.

Really good spot for Indian food. We tried the samosas, butter chicken, and hot Indian chai. The mimosas and butter chicken were excellent. The flavor was very good. The service was excellent and everyone went above and beyond. Ambience is also a nice place for us. Sit down meal with the family. Highly recommend.

Great food overall! Paneer masala fries were tasty. Malai kofta was really good, Kashmiri alla pasta and dosa quesadilla were decent. Rice pudding was not that great. But really nice servers and cool ambience, enjoyed my experience

Servers-Manasa and Rajat were very courteous and friendly - Helped us choose the best menu . The starters were delicious and main course was nice too. The owner also come to our table and asked us how the food was..which, I think was a nice gesture! and The complimentary chai they gave us was freshly made and delicious. Would like to go there again..

Okay, if you love Indian food, you need to get yourself to Roots Indian Bistro - it's next level! We kicked things off with the most refreshing rose water and mango drinks. Then the Bhel Puri .. it was crispy, spicy, and packed with flavor. The Samosas were Crunchy a with a fluffy potatoes filling .. so delicious! The Dosa Quesadilla was so unique - thin dosa filled with smoked tomato and grilled onions, paired with the coconut lentil dip was seriously so good. The Nirvana Curry was a spicy creamy goodness, and dipping their fresh naan in it was heaven. The Grilled Chicken Tikka was a total win for the kids - juicy, tender, and full of flavor. We finished our amazing meal with rose doughnuts (light and sweet) and the creamiest rice pudding. Seriously, if you're craving Indian food, Roots is the place to go! Also the place is so beautifully decorated and the service was top notch! Can't wait to be back

Great family bistro on Melrose, fantastic spot to grab a quick bite before a show at the Groundlings. Metered street parking and a small pay lot on Poinsettia, both indoor and outdoor seating available, but with the foot traffic (and traffic-traffic) on Melrose, I recommend eating indoors. This is a sit-down, table service, bistro, with a great selection of traditional Indian food. Portion sizes are just right, if you're there with a party of four and you get four dishes and eat family style, you're going to have a perfect amount of food and maybe a little bit of leftovers. We had the samosas for an appetizer, they come 2 to the order and were quite good. They have a large vegan menu, and we tried the aloo gobi, they asked about the spice level and I said medium, but it was almost no kick at all, so if you like your food spicy be sure to speak up. The daal is also very good. We also tried the chicken tandoori, it was outstanding... they do an amazing tandoori chicken here. The naan is also very good. The inside is pretty cramped, and there was a wait (we didn't have a reservation) but it wasn't too bad. The next time we eat here we'll get a reservation. The servers were attentive, and our water glasses remained full! All in all this is one of the better Indian restaurants in the area. We will be back!

Came for dinner tonight and would say this place was just "ok". Service was pretty good overall, staff checked in with us frequently the first part of the meal but one of the wait staff dropped a bottle of water on us and didn't apologize. As for the food, here's what we ordered: Chaat Nachos: They were pretty good, it's basically your standard issue chaat dish. Masala Fries: Kind of reminded me of poutine, these were a favorite of the table. The flavors were good and it wasn't too heavy. I'd definitely get them again. Chana Masala: The spices were very off on this unfortunately and it was quite bland. Alla Pasta: This was ok, Pija Palace is infinitely better though. Tandoori Chicken: It was fresh, but also lacked the spices I would expect. Not the worst I've had but definitely not the best either. In summary, definitely not the best or worst Indian meal I've had, but also not worth a trip to Melrose for.

YouTube, Instagram, tiktok and food bloggers unite! Everybody's talking about Roots Indian cafe. The praise is high, so I had to check it out for myself. Does it stand up to the hype? Yes it does. This family run bistro opened in 2021, during the height of the pandemic, and they survived! (that earns four stars alone, in my book). But Roots did not just survive the pandemic, they excelled, and now they are thriving. In addition to the standard Indian fare, they also have an eclectic mix of Indian and local SoCal dishes. If you want to go with a traditional meal, they have that. If you are feeling adventurous and you want to mix it up, they can do that too. Roots merges culinary cultures to create some very unique dishes. I've tried two of the 'Roots Rarities' and they were excellent. Vindaloo Dumplings (Kurobuta pork, ginger, green onion, zesty paprika curry, pickled chilis). Dosa Quesadilla (Smoked tomato, grilled onions, cheese, gunpowder masala, pumpkin salsa, coconut lentils). Many more specialty dishes are available so I will have to keep coming back to try them all. I also went for several of the traditional Indian dishes. Samosas - stuffed w/ potatoes, peas, spices. Chicken Masala, Chana Masala, Papadums. Everything I've had is delicious. The service is excellent and the owners and staff, frequently check on their guests. You can tell they care about their customers and take great pride in the food they serve. To me, Roots represents the best the LA Culinary Culture has to offer. They are unique, stylish, welcoming and delicious. Four Thumbs up for Roots Indian Bistro.

Staying true to my word, we came back with the in-laws! And once again, the food was superb. The service was top notch and so friendly. The waitress and owner truly make it such a personal, wonderful experience. I can't wait to keep coming back here. The in-laws were hooked with the paneer masala fries. They especially loved the malai kofta dish since it's very mild in spice but rich and creamy in flavor. Highly recommend getting some garlic naan to soak up all the flavor of the sauces!

Incredible food, excellent service and recommendations (thank you Noor!!) and a great vibe. We came in a group of 4 with a reservation for 6pm on a Sunday night. The place was busy but not packed. Parked on the street without too much difficulty and secured a spot near the large mural next to the window--beautiful! We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, lamb curry, daal, and lamb kebab, with 2 orders of garlic naan and one order of regular naan, and two sides of rice. I recommend the medium level spicy--still packs a kick but not overwhelming. Then ask for a side of hot sauce and you can manage whatever level you like, it was fantastic! Chicken tikka masala was exactly as you expect, lamb curry was very flavorful, the kebab I wouldn't order again it was a bit dry but still enjoyable, but oh my god, the daal was the huge surprise and wow factor. The flavors were excellent and while it's not ever something that stands out to me relative to curries it was absolutely the crowd favorite here! I will be adding it to my must try list! Noor was very sweet and made plenty of recommendations and took great care of us!

Tasty food. We ordered 4-5 different dishes. The tamarind wine drink was yummy. Our server was nice. And the restaurant wasn't too crowded as we arrived between 1-2pm.

Great place for fusion indian food! I got the dosa quesadilla and it was pretty good! I am generally not a huge dosa person but this was really good! Basically just tasted like a cheese dosa but I really enjoyed it with the salsas and sambar to dip it in. I also got the kashmiri alla pasta and it was AWESOME! It was my favorite thing we got! It was basically indian style vodka pasta and it did not miss. My bf got the korma alfredo and loved it! He said the lamb was really tender and melted in your mouth. Overall, great place to try some fusion indian food! Next time I for sure want to try the paneer masala fries :)

The portions are perfect for sharing, so you can dive into a little bit of everything without the guilt. Located on the lively Melrose Blvd, this spot is also perfectly positioned for a post-meal stroll, where you can indulge in dessert and enjoy some shopping.

Wasn't able to take pictures but all the food was delicious! Started off with the paneer fries where the fries were cooked perfectly and the sauce was so flavor. Our server, Arsh (so sorry if I spelled wrong) recommended their pasta which was the star of the meal. I could not even describe what it tastes like but it was delicious. To balance everything out and make ourselves feel healthy we ordered the market vegetables with medium spice. The portion was pretty large and I do wish there was more of a kick because it seemed mild spice-wise to me. Ended the night with the rose donuts which came out piping hot. Will definitely be back since I'm right around the corner and it's hard to find good indian spots in LA.

Fantastic service, nice ambiance, and delicious food! I recently tried Roots Indian Bistro and I was not disappointed, this place definitely had several dishes I really enjoyed. Their appetizers stole the show for me, but overall it was a pretty good experience. Here is a breakdown of every dish I tried: 5/5 - Paneer Masala Fries: crispy fries topped w/ paneer, masala, onion, tomatoes, and cilantro. Super delicious, definitely the best item from the appetizer section. 4/5 - Mac & Cheese Pakoras: bread crumb coated mac & cheese, served w/ creamy tomato tadka. Pretty good, if you really like mac and cheese I would try these. 5/5 - Dosa Quesadilla: smoked tomato, grilled onions, cheese, gunpowder masala, pumpkin salsa, and coconut lentils. Probably the best thing from the "Roots Rarities" section. I highly recommend this as an appetizer so everyone can enjoy it, this and the Paneer Masala Fries are a must try (in my opinion). 4/5 - Tikka Masala Curry: tomato & onion purée, fenugreek, and heavy cream. Choice of protein: Chicken, Paneer, Lamb, Tofu, or Fish. Solid flavors, but not at the same level as the apps. Solid flavors, good for bone-in chicken lovers. It does not include rice or naan, sadly. 4.5/5 - Rose Doughnuts (Gulab Jamun): fried dough balls soaked in a sweet rose water syrup. Warm, soft, and delicious! 3/5 - Garlic Naan: a little overpriced at $5 per, could be larger, also not a fluffy or flavorful as the best naan. 3/5 - Various Drinks: hit or miss, but typically average, I would skips the drinks here. What a horrible let down this restaurant was!! The ratings are completely misleading and we had an awful experience here. We started our dinner with chaat nachos. They were good, especially the nachos were crisp. Post that we had great expectations from the main course but unfortunately it was a downhill from there. We ordered the veg and non-veg thali. The butter chicken was extremely disappointing and nowhere close to what we get back in Delhi. Chana masala was equally bad and gave a feeling of boiled chanas mixed with water. The dal was okay. Naan was again burnt. To add to the mediocrity was the super rude server. I had requested for garlic naan in place of plain naan but I got served plain naan. I conveyed her the same and she refused to believe that I had ordered the garlic naan. The poor ordeal does not stop here. We conveyed to the manager/owner, whoever he was ( a grumpy old man) that we did not like the food. Instead of acknowledging it he started arguing with us that their food is one of the best. To top that he mocked us by asking us the real recipes of those foods. He offered us to not charge for the thalis but when we got the bill, everything was charged. Shameless mockery of the guests!! I just cannot wrap my head around how this place has such great reviews. Either this place was good before and has now lost its sheen or the Indian food scene in LA is so bad that even mediocrity gets celebrated there. Whatever the reason, it sucks!! To sum it up, eating here would be a great disservice to the Indian food. Ps: If you go through my profile, you will understand that I am a fairly experienced reviewer and I rarely give bad reviews unless I have had a disgusting experience.

Incredibly underwhelming experience. Roots is hailed as one of the best Indian restaurants in LA, but this experience was so bad. The food is innovative and creative, except the execution is done poorly. The paneer masala fries, one of their signatures, is crispy but there is no hints of flavor. The masala is very one note, lacking in fresh tomatoes and onions that would've provided more depth into the dish. The spiced lamb kebab is incredibly overpriced at 21 dollars for six small bites. It is not spiced at all and relies solely on its lamb flavor. The only praise-worthy dish was the vindaloo dumplings. It was a very rich tomato-based sauce that paired perfectly with the dumplings. The dumplings weren't anything special but the dish overall encaptures all the flavors well. Ambience is lovely with a wonderful lighting and decoration. Service is very straightforward and not anything especially welcoming or friendly. Overall, I was reminded of the lack of good Indian food in LA.

I love this place . The friendliest staff ever super attentive. Service upto mark . Vibe was awesome it had the la Melrose vibe going with the flavour of exotic Indian feel. Bhel is a must try I was super impressed with it it's hard one to get it right . Aloo tilki was great but missing the Channa's would have been nice to have that but still tasted awesome. Malai kofta was amazing great to have vegan options on the menu. Naans could have been bigger pieces and a bit softer. Will be back for sure this is a hidden gem.

I went here last month with my dad who was visiting from New York. Food was delicious and the wait staff were so kind and warm that we went back the following week. The second time my sister from Vermont also joined us. We had the same waitress, the beautiful and funny Manasa. Again the food was scrumptious. When Manasa learned I lost my home in the Altadena fire, she wouldn't let us pay. The owner comped the entire meal, including appetizers, wine and chai. He came to the table and was so gracious. I can't wait to go back to this wonderful restaurant. Lots of vegan and gluten-free options as well!

I ordered via Postmates last week for the first time. I enjoyed the two dishes I got:Korma Alfredo, which was some generous and tender lamb korma chunks with a very tasty korma sauce mixed in some rigatoni pasta. Very unusual for an Indian place but recommended nonetheless! I also had a beautiful butter chicken( my all time fave) and it came with a good portion of. Basmati rice! Delectable and highly recommended ! Lastly when you ordered a certain amount, I forgot how much, you received a complimentary mango lassi: that drink was fresh and not too sweet: super delish I ll order from Roots Indian Bistro again soon: great experience ‼

It was our second time here--we loved our dinner. The service from the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Everyone there is lovely. We ordered appetizers and the vegan selections they offer. The naan was super yummy. We will definitely return.

Been here 3 times now and this place has really become my top choice for Indian food! Food is outstanding, unique cocktails and friendliest staff! Was here just last night and took a couple of friends and we already can't wait to be back!

Honestly, the food is spiced well but still lacks flavor. I've gone twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. It's cute inside, cozy, and the staff is attentive. I like that it gets busy, but still just right to have your own space. My favorite dish is the cheese naan. I've had the onion pakora (alright), the Mac and cheese pakora (fried too hard/batter salty), butter chicken (spicy, no flavor), and chicken tikka masala(spicy, no flavor). I do like that there's a full bar and the drink options for nonalcoholic are plentiful. It's cool for a solo dinner/lunch. Worth a try.

Was so excited to finally try Roots Indian Bistro! Had heard so much about it & my experience there absolutely lived up to expectations when it came to the food. Food - so many delicious & creative options to pick from! We tried a variety of tastes from the menu - the aloo gobhi was delicious, loved the tandoori salmon & cucumber salad, the samosas were delicious as well as the saag.. Really everything was good other than the fried Mac balls! Those were a little odd. Drinks were not very memorable - we tried a few cocktails but nothing really hit the spot. Service - nothing memorable but nothing bad either! Great suggestions from the server & the food came out quickly, so nothing bad to say. Ambiance - casual atmosphere on Melrose with a bar & standard dining seats. Parking available on Melrose & on the many side streets. Overall a great culinary experience & awesome option for non-standard Indian food in the Melrose area! Absolutely worth checking out & would go back just to drive more of the many dishes they have to offer.

Near perfect rating ... bet yer ass I was skeptical. But seeing as I'm also dropping a five star rating - guess you know where I stand now. So ... Ended up here with a friend, on her recommendation. It's on Melrose but early enough that I figured parking wouldn't be too much of an issue. It wasn't. Metered. Don't know when enforcement stops. But it's Melrose so I wouldn't chance it. Lots of spots though. Even after dinner. Even after a night cap down the street. Service was excellent. Stayed change even as the place started getting busy. Attentive. Friendly. Genuine. Then there was the food. I've not been to India so I can't comment on whether it's authentic but I will say that I enjoyed TF out of dinner. Ordered the fries, lamb and naan. Only one comment - I ordered very hot - it wasn't. Not for me. Great flavor. Didn't need to be spicy hot. Nothing would be leftover. Also, ordered a drink I hadn't tried before. It was like dessert. Loved it. I don't know if you need reservations - we just walked in. Pretty much could have sat anywhere. Some table seating towards the front. Booths towards the back. We opted for the booths the front of the restaurant is open and we didn't want to deal with noise from the street. Not that it would have mattered - we were too busy eating the delicious dinner. We both agreed that we have to go back to try other menu items.

Great vibes, great tunes, great service! Right off the bat, we walked in and felt welcomed, the restaurant is decorated very well, and stays true to the fusion theme with boho and Indian inspired elements. The menu is funky and everything sounded so good. We wanted to try something different and we were recommended Kashmiri allá pasta, and butter chicken with cheese and Garlic naan. The butter chicken blew my mind! It was a burst of flavors in my mouth the curry was creamy, garlicky, delicious, and the chicken was well cooked! The Kashmiri pasta was Delish as well, cooked to perfection and coated with a creamy tomato forward sauce. Yummm The cheesy naan (was more like a parantha) was so cheesy and gooey when you pull it apart, and went so well with the butter chicken. The masala chai was a perfect compliment to all these dishes. Overall, I really loved the food and the vibes here. Unlike a lot of "Indian restaurants" I've been to in the area, the staff was actually Indian and very hospitable. I had a great time and will be recommending this place to my friends!

This place is a must-try!! While parking can be a challenge, it's worth it. We loved the vibe is this authentic yet modern Indian restaurant. It has great music, the friendliest staff and freshly made, delicious food from a cool menu. We tried a little of everything and it was all delicious!! We started with the bruschetta naan which we ate so fast, I didn't even get a photo of it. Yum!! We ordered cheese and garlic naan to go with veggie and meat dishes. It was all so flavorful and we ate til we were stuffed - but couldn't resist ending on a sweet note with the Halwa Cookie Sando which is like a carrot cake cookie. We also recommend trying an Indian beer with your meal. This place was hopping so call ahead for a reservation

Dined here with a group of 3 and honestly cannot say enough positive things about the service and the food. Our waiters adeep and manasa were super friendly and helpful when they were taking our orders. Since it was our first time, they were kind enough to take the time to go through the menu and suggested dishes that best fit our tastes. The food was absolutely delicious and hands down the best Indian food I've had. Would definitely return!

Second time eating here, it was just as amazing as the first. The twist on Indian food is very clever, resulting in delicious new takes. The dosa quesadilla was maybe my most favorite, pairing really nicely with the chutney. Honestly though, every dish has been great so far. I look forward to trying more dishes. The owner is very kind, and there's a nice ambiance. It can get busy, so make a reservation if you don't want to wait.

Really good food. Indian classics but also some fun things, like paneer tikka fries. Paneer is soft and tastes like in Mumbai. Affordable drinks, a rarity in this town.

I am definitely not a fan of this place.... We ordered chat masala, chicken tikka masala, white rice, garlic naan, spices and Roti. The samosa were delicious, chicken tikka masala was flavorless, the chat masala had a huge hair in it that made me almost vomit, garlic naan tasted like burnt garlic. I will never come back here again and I am not sure why anyone likes this place .

Fast service, and good, clean and hip atmosphere, however the food itself we ordered the westside for 2 with requesting very spicy, everything came out pretty bland with little seasoning flavors, the meat itself was not dry it just had very little flavor and was not spicy at all and I had to douse it in a side of their hot sauce to get any sort of flavor, I ate half of the meal but my partner was unable to eat theirs as it was just not worth eating and I had skipped a meal so I was very hungry. Unfortunately I will not go here again for indian food as the main meal, the drinks were good though, we had the arnold palmer and mango lassi.

Start off by saying we were a party of 6, had a reservation at a later time but happened to stop by early so we walked in and asked if a table was available and the server was able to quickly accomodate us. However, throughout the meal, the servers were rude and kept banging stuff on our table (eg: when food was brought to the table, the servers literally put the plate down so hard we thought it'd break). Throughout the meal, a few of us noticed that the servers were being pretty gracious and nice to other customers but these things repetetively happening only on our table. Now, i realise we were probably a big party and they were busy but they should not be behaving in a way as if we were eating there for free. We were more than happy to wait until a table was available but the experience was ruined since it felt like the servers were trying to rush us out the door. Moving on, we asked for a new set of cutlery but the server said "We will bring it out when we can as you can see we are very busy". Ordinarily i'd be okay with this statement( since yes restaurants are busy and we ubderstand that) but it seemed like they were being pretty rude with the tone which I do not appreciate at all. 1) The food was innovative and tasted good but not exceptional as we thought it would be according to all the reviews online. 2) Towards the end, they added a hefty 'tip' in the bill which when asked the server said was California "law". We asked to confirm if its really a law and if so, it needs to be mentioned on the menus which is an actual "law" in the state. Then the server was flustered and said "yeah its not really a law but just restaurant culture". At this point, we were ready to just leave so we paid the bill as is and left. Overall, the food, ambiance was okay but the restaurant really needs to work on the hospitality if they wanna be in this kind of a business.

Food 5/5: all the curry flavored were really tasty along with the appetizer. The only thing I would comment on is the food took 40 mins to come out... Service: 3/5. We got checked on twice, in a span of an hour. Food takes too long. Ambiance is good for dates but won't be coming back again.

Do not recommend. Reviews are very misleading- This place shows up as highly rated because they are soliciting reviews from all customers and the server even said the tips are distributed based on the number of good reviews.

This family-owned Indian restaurant off Melrose has quickly bloomed into one of my favorite places to go on a weekday night. I cannot overstate how friendly and hospitable the staff are, and how much care they put into their food. The dishes are authentic and delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect for anything from a casual dinner with friends or a nice night out with a significant other. Never had a bad experience, excited to come back!

We came here with a large party and the service was impeccable. There was a short wait and they sat us as soon as a table was available. They accommodated our dietary needs very well - a few of us wanted mild spicy, some wanted spicy, and all of us were vegetarians. They brought out the food and were happy to cater to our last minute requests without a problem. The food tasted great and it is one of the closest to food from India that I have tasted in the US. Highly recommended!!! One note - we had cousins visiting from Austin who came here and liked it so much that they came here twice on consecutive days!

Both the food and service were amazing. We would definitely come back. My kids devoured their butter chicken.

Really good spot for Indian food. We tried the samosas, butter chicken, and hot Indian chai. The mimosas and butter chicken were excellent. The flavor was very good. The service was excellent and everyone went above and beyond. Ambience is also a nice place for us. Sit down meal with the family. Highly recommend.

Vibe is cute and modern! Service is extremely helpful and friendly. However, food ratings from a South Asian perspective is not as authentic. Maybe they were really busy? Food is not as flavorful or spicy as we would have liked. The servers did ask us what we thought of the dishes and brought as chilis but we were already basically finished with our meal. Best dishes were the samosas and crispy chaat nachos.

Roots Indian is a 10/10. All the food I ordered was delicious and the medium spice level was perfect for the curries and biryani. The staff were incredibly friendly and consistently checked on our table. They also provided awesome recommendations. Will definitely come back :)

Really cool Indian-fusion menu. Got the Chicken Tikka Masala (gluten free!) & my friend got Curry Fun for 1 with Chicken masala & chana masala. Thirsty? Get the lemonade! If I wasn't Celiac, I'd try the Paneer Masala Fries and Mac & Cheese Pakoras - they both looked amazing.

We ended up here on Thanksgiving 2023 and I love the menu and hope it's not too spicy! I'm so hungry and we ordered so much food!! They have the BEST raita!! Did I mention that I am obsessed with pappadum? We loved the malai kofta which has the tastiest sauce! I thought we redeemed the free mango lassi beverage with Yelp check in but got extra pappadum instead. OMG so amazingly delicious and flavorful and I LOVE the chicken tikka and the sauces are perfection! Our waiter is so sweet and somehow conveyed to the chef exactly what I wanted. A+++

Great food overall! Paneer masala fries were tasty. Malai kofta was really good, Kashmiri alla pasta and dosa quesadilla were decent. Rice pudding was not that great. But really nice servers and cool ambience, enjoyed my experience

Awesome hip location on Melrose Ave, great for a quick casual meal that will fill you up with warmth and flavor. Speaking of warmth the staff is welcoming and happy to guide you thru the menu. Loved chicken tikka and salmon tandoori. The garlic naan is a must to soak up all the delicious sauce.

This is a perfect example of why you need to check a restaurant before you order even if the pictures on instagram make it look oh so good. First, the door to this place was filthy. Then the smell of disinfectant coming from the inside totally turn me off making me unable to try the food.
