Next, I appreciate how difficult it is to do fresh juice as a business with a retail location, and that is likely a business with 'roots' in wanting to help people be healthy. So I have a lot of empathy for the struggles.
AND - I have only been to this location once... so my experience may be an anomaly.
But here are the facts:
1. I bought my daughter a Green Goddess juice,
2. It was fermented, which was indicated by the sound made when opening, the fizzing bubbles after it was opened, and the acetic acid (vinegary)smell of the product
3. There bottle was not dated
The counter person exchanged the Green Goddess for a Green Goddess with Lemon and Ginger, which I had purchased. This was OK.
The old saying, "you only get one chance to make a first impression" applies here.
The economics of fresh juice are tough, but at $10 for a 16 oz bottle, my expectations on freshness are high.
